Of the nine people preparing for the show,

only one will take home prize money of up to £10,000.

The others will leave with nothing, after their team-mates vote them the weakest link.

Any of the nine people in the studio here today could win up to £10,000.

They don't know each other, but if they want the money they have to work as a team.

Eight of them will leave with nothing,

as round by round we lose the player voted the weakest link.

I'm Ross, 28,

I'm Gail, 42, a local government officer from Wakefield.

I'm Richard, 43, a practice manager from Cornwall.

I'm Linda, 51, and a council administrator from Lancashire.

Now, the rules. The aim is to answer enough questions

to reach your £1000 target, within the time limit. The fastest way

is a chain of nine answers.

Get your question wrong, you break the chain and lose the money in that chain.

If you say "bank" before the question, the money is safe.

You start a new chain from scratch. At the end of the round,

only money that has been banked can be taken forward. In Round One, there are three minutes.
