-at the local Eisteddfod in Llanrug.

-I'm off to the first Urdd comp now.

-they told me the CD wasn't working.

-We were in position and everything.

-But the music just wouldn't come on!

-I checked my phone.

-I had a Dropbox from Llion.

-I've deleted it.

-The back-ups I use for the lessons

-were on the desk.

-I'm glad it wasn't my fault.

-While someone rushes to fetch

-..Hunllef Annisgwyl save the day by

-performing earlier than scheduled.

-After worrying that Amrywiaeth

-might not compete at all...

-..the CD finally arrives,

-thank goodness.

-It's a long night

-and it's a nervous wait for results.

-Difas and Amrywiaeth got second.

-As it's only the winning groups that

-compete at the county Eisteddfod...

-..it's the end of the journey

-for them.

-But Y Cythreuliaid Gwyllt, Hunllef

-Annisgwyl, Gwen and Zara all won.

-Off they go to the regional

-Eisteddfod in Cricieth.

-Only two weeks separate

-the local and regional eisteddfods.

-It's not a lot.

-You've worked so hard for the local

-one but you can't ease off at all.

-Despite all the preparation, each

-competition brings its own problems.

-You'll have to dance with a headache

-but I couldn't work out who.

-It was Tiffany, who arrived late.

-With everyone present,

-Y Cythreuliaid perform superbly.

-Yr Hunllef Annisgwyl and

-the junior solo dancers do so too.

-The senior categories didn't have

-They featured for the first time

-at the regional Eisteddfod.

-This was also the first time

-that Awen competed individually.

-All the hard work paid off with all

-the groups and solo competitors...

-..going through to the Urdd

-National Eisteddfod in Bridgend.

-Following that success,

-Anti Karen's in a good mood.

-But it doesn't last long.

-I was teaching in the unit on

-the Friday when I got a phone call.

-I played in a rugby tournament

-with school...

-..and a girl jumped on top of me

-and landed on my leg.

-I had an X-ray

-and was told I'd broken it.

-After I came home,

-Mam said I had to phone Karen.

-I said,

-"You can talk to her. I won't!"

-Michelle was crying on the phone.

-Sara had got hurt at

-the tournament and couldn't dance.

-They didn't have a purple one!

-She's stopped playing football,

-rugby and hockey now.

-part in sport ever again.

-decided I wouldn't do the national.

-I had too many exams

-and too much stress.

-I did my research. I asked what the

-exams were and when she had them.

-I knew the answers

-before she could say no!

-I said, "I thought

-you'd sorted the positions."

-She said, "Sara's broken her leg."

-But she said yes.

-I couldn't let the girls down

-so I had to go.

-No messing. Just go to position one

-so Moli knows where to go.

-Position two. Et cetera, et cetera.

-It was the positions I struggled

-with most. I remembered the moves.

-In some places, I was, like,

-"Sara, where do I go?"

-Moli's learnt the positions

-in less than three days.

-The dancers travel to Bridgend

-and the Urdd Eisteddfod.

-It's a long way. I'll have a hot

-flush before I start! It's warm.

-As usual, a location must be found

-to prepare for the prelims.

-It was a shame, though.
