Right across Scotland, these are tough times,

but how you vote in the council elections on May 3rd

will make a big difference to you and your local community.

Scottish Labour is supporting guaranteed apprenticeships for school leavers.

Give them a job. Give them something to be proud of.

10,000 job placements for unemployed youngsters.

The thing I'm most concerned about and my friends are concerned about

is getting a job at the end of our degrees.

More childcare for three-year-olds with no delay.

Help with childcare is a complete bonus with me.

Better care for pensioners and older people.

It's really important that elderly people, like, need looked after,

because you want them to have as much a good time as everyone else.

My gran's 90 this year.

She lives in one of the retirement flats

and the council's went out of their way

to make sure that that area's more secure.

Labour wants to protect your local bus route

and stop massive fare rises.

I would say that bus routes need to be protected. Got to be.

Bus routes are very important for

the most vulnerable people in society who can't afford cars,

so we should not be getting rid of our bus routes

or cutting them at all.

The SNP won't support that and say everything's just fine.

Labour has a very positive message to convey to the people.

The SNP just seem interested in putting their referendum first.

I think Labour put me and my local community first.

Things like jobs, childcare, pensioners and buses.

The council elections on 3rd May are about all those things,

because this is about putting YOU first.

Scotland has changed so much over the years,

and Labour wants to put your community first.

Old jobs have made way for new.

Old houses are being replaced with new.

Towns and cities look very different.

But one thing hasn't changed -

a sense of what is really important to you.

That's why Scottish Labour will put you first.

I'll be voting Labour, but whatever you vote, make sure you vote.

Take part, get involved, make your voice heard.

At the council elections on May 3rd, you will vote using numbers.

You can vote for all the Labour candidates.

First, you put a 1 next to the Labour candidate.

Then, if there's a second Labour candidate, mark with a 2.

And if there is a third, put a 3 in the box.
