If your biggest wish in life was to spend quality time

0:00:020:00:04

with the people you love most,

0:00:040:00:06

how far would you go to get what you want?

0:00:060:00:10

For one family, it could mean a total change of circumstances,

0:00:100:00:14

and a move to the other side of the world.

0:00:140:00:17

Glenn Morse is desperate for more time with his family.

0:00:170:00:20

For a third of my working life, I don't see the kids, at all.

0:00:200:00:24

And wife Sue is running on empty.

0:00:240:00:26

I just don't think we can carry on.

0:00:260:00:28

It's putting an awful lot of strain on us.

0:00:280:00:30

To bring their family together,

0:00:300:00:32

they're considering turning their lives upside down.

0:00:320:00:35

I would be doing predominantly what Sue does at the moment

0:00:350:00:38

and Sue would be going out to work.

0:00:380:00:40

But will moving to the other side of the world prove a step too far?

0:00:400:00:43

I really love my kids,

0:00:430:00:45

and I just feel I don't want to let anyone down.

0:00:450:00:48

New Zealand is a nation made up of more than 600 islands -

0:01:100:01:14

bigger than Britain, but with a population of just over 4 million,

0:01:140:01:18

it's a very attractive option

0:01:180:01:20

for the 12,000 Brits who emigrate there every year.

0:01:200:01:23

But deciding to pack up and move to the other side of the world

0:01:230:01:26

can be a massive gamble,

0:01:260:01:28

and isn't always as straightforward as it might seem.

0:01:280:01:32

The Morse family want to transform their lives,

0:01:320:01:35

so dad, Glenn, can enjoy more time with their children.

0:01:350:01:39

To achieve this, they are contemplating a move down under.

0:01:390:01:42

Ahead of them lies a week where they'll explore everything

0:01:420:01:45

New Zealand has to offer, before facing

0:01:450:01:48

the biggest decision of their lives.

0:01:480:01:51

First the family had to endure 24 hours in the air,

0:01:520:01:55

on a journey that's brought them 12,000 miles from home.

0:01:550:01:59

But they're all smiles when they eventually touch down in Auckland!

0:02:040:02:09

It was a really good flight. It was really easy.

0:02:090:02:11

The kids were really well-behaved.

0:02:110:02:13

And we were going up and down... three times!

0:02:130:02:18

The entertainment was very good on the plane,

0:02:180:02:21

which kept the kids quiet, and they slept loads, as well.

0:02:210:02:24

-So, really good.

-So did Daddy!

-Far better than we expected.

0:02:240:02:27

So, how are they feeling about the week ahead?

0:02:270:02:30

I'm looking forward to exploring New Zealand.

0:02:300:02:33

Yeah, it feels very real, now we're here.

0:02:330:02:35

We're hoping and praying that it's going to be good.

0:02:350:02:37

But the reality is, we'll find out what it's like.

0:02:370:02:41

Oi! Will you pack it in?

0:02:410:02:44

There's no turning back now, as the Morses begin what could be

0:02:440:02:48

the most important week of their lives.

0:02:480:02:51

Back in the UK, Glenn, Sue, seven-year-old Grace

0:02:540:02:57

and three-year-old Jack live in the Forest of Dean.

0:02:570:03:00

It's a stunning location

0:03:000:03:02

and at first glance it looks like the Morses are living the good life.

0:03:020:03:05

But appearances can be deceptive.

0:03:050:03:08

Our lifestyle here looks idyllic... erm, from the outside.

0:03:080:03:11

Almost to the point that we sometimes, to other people,

0:03:130:03:17

look like swans going across the top of the water -

0:03:170:03:21

and we've got everything, and we're very lucky -

0:03:210:03:23

but people don't see the work that goes behind it.

0:03:230:03:26

The sacrifices.

0:03:260:03:28

A self-employed quantity surveyor and full-time mum,

0:03:280:03:32

Sue works around the clock.

0:03:320:03:34

You've had phone calls here at half past midnight,

0:03:340:03:38

from contractors and builders

0:03:380:03:40

who ring at half past midnight to say,

0:03:400:03:43

"Can you come and sort this problem for us?" which isn't ideal, is it?

0:03:430:03:48

It isn't ideal.

0:03:480:03:50

And for police officer Glenn, working long shifts means

0:03:500:03:54

missing huge chunks of his children's lives.

0:03:540:03:57

I work two mornings, two lates, two nights and get four days off.

0:03:570:04:03

If you take the two evening shifts, I leave for work at about 1.15pm -

0:04:030:04:08

the kids are already at school,

0:04:080:04:11

I come home about 2.30am

0:04:110:04:12

when the kids are tucked up fast asleep in bed,

0:04:120:04:15

so when I get up in the morning, the kids have gone to school.

0:04:150:04:18

So for a third of my working life I don't see the kids, at all.

0:04:180:04:22

Seven-year-old Grace feels the same.

0:04:220:04:25

He's always at work, and things like that. He's never with us.

0:04:250:04:30

Only on his days off.

0:04:300:04:34

And usually on his days off,

0:04:340:04:35

when we've got something important coming up, like we always do,

0:04:350:04:39

Daddy's always clearing up, because me and Jack always make messes,

0:04:390:04:42

so we never hardly have free time with him.

0:04:420:04:46

The couple's workload means the family have reached breaking point.

0:04:460:04:50

I don't think we can carry on.

0:04:500:04:52

It's putting an awful lot of strain on us.

0:04:520:04:54

And we're not enjoying life.

0:04:540:04:57

The kids see we're not enjoying life,

0:04:570:04:59

and that's never any good for children.

0:04:590:05:01

Desperate for change,

0:05:010:05:03

Glenn thinks moving to New Zealand could offer the answer.

0:05:030:05:06

It's been my idea for many, many years.

0:05:060:05:08

Sue's not always had that dream.

0:05:080:05:11

I did mention it, certainly when we first met,

0:05:110:05:14

but she was dead against it at the time.

0:05:140:05:17

Sue's now open to moving halfway around the world.

0:05:170:05:21

Her job as a quantity surveyor could be the ticket to a visa and new life

0:05:210:05:25

for the family in New Zealand,

0:05:250:05:27

but it would mean radical changes.

0:05:270:05:30

If we go to New Zealand, it's a change of circumstances

0:05:300:05:33

for the two of us, really.

0:05:330:05:35

I would be doing predominantly what Sue does at the moment, erm...

0:05:350:05:39

and Sue would be going out to work rather than working from home.

0:05:390:05:42

So it is a complete change.

0:05:420:05:44

For Glenn, it would mean turning his back on a career

0:05:440:05:46

of more than 20 years.

0:05:460:05:48

Giving up my job is a huge sacrifice,

0:05:480:05:51

but I hope that it's worth it.

0:05:510:05:52

And in years to come, when we look back and we see that we've had

0:05:520:05:56

quality time as a family with the children,

0:05:560:05:59

which we wouldn't have got if I hadn't given up my job,

0:05:590:06:02

then, yes, it will have been well worth it.

0:06:020:06:04

Glenn and Sue would, effectively, swap roles.

0:06:040:06:06

Cos he'd going to be the house-husband,

0:06:060:06:09

and we're going to have more time playing with him, than we do here.

0:06:090:06:12

A life in New Zealand could offer the family quality time together,

0:06:120:06:16

but it would mean taking Grace and Jack

0:06:160:06:18

away from much-loved grandparents,

0:06:180:06:21

and for Sue, in particular, that's a dreaded thought.

0:06:210:06:24

I feel really sad about leaving them.

0:06:240:06:26

I feel as though we're running away a little bit

0:06:260:06:28

and jibbing out of our responsibilities.

0:06:280:06:31

Our parents could need us, and we're not going to be here.

0:06:310:06:35

Sue's also worried about breaking up a close relationship Grace has

0:06:350:06:38

with Glenn's older daughter, Laura.

0:06:380:06:41

Grace and Laura have a really, really special bond.

0:06:410:06:43

If Grace is really playing me up, I threaten to tell Laura

0:06:430:06:47

and say Laura's going to be disappointed in her,

0:06:470:06:49

and that's it, she stops.

0:06:490:06:52

It's probably one of the hardest things to do,

0:06:520:06:57

erm...is to take Grace away from Laura, really.

0:06:570:07:01

Leaving family in the UK

0:07:010:07:02

is a sacrifice the Morses will have to make,

0:07:020:07:05

if they're to rebuild their family down under.

0:07:050:07:07

For Sue, there's an added pressure of becoming sole breadwinner.

0:07:070:07:12

It's really going to be really, really difficult,

0:07:120:07:14

to go from being mummy all the time,

0:07:140:07:17

to mummy that's at work.

0:07:170:07:21

But if I don't do it,

0:07:210:07:22

we haven't really got a future in New Zealand.

0:07:220:07:26

To find out if switching parental roles on the other side of the world

0:07:300:07:33

will mean the Morses can achieve the family life they dream of,

0:07:330:07:37

they'll spend the next week exploring the Auckland area.

0:07:370:07:41

Home for the week is a two-bedroomed cottage in Stillwater,

0:07:410:07:45

a small town about 30 minutes north of the city centre.

0:07:450:07:49

With the Wai Iti Forest on its doorstep,

0:07:490:07:51

it should offer an ideal home-from-home.

0:07:510:07:53

But will the Morses agree?

0:07:530:07:55

Wow. Look at this!

0:07:550:07:56

-Great, isn't it?

-Yeah!

0:07:560:07:59

-Lovely!

-Oh, it's lovely, isn't it?

0:07:590:08:01

Look at that view. The balcony.

0:08:010:08:03

Jack! Look, there's a boat over there!

0:08:030:08:06

-Ooh, Daddy is going to have to do a bit of cooking in there.

-Very nice.

0:08:060:08:10

It's lovely, isn't it?

0:08:110:08:12

First impressions are good,

0:08:120:08:14

but after that flight, Sue's keen to sort out the sleeping arrangements.

0:08:140:08:18

-Do you think this room's nice for you two?

-I want this bed.

-That bed?

0:08:180:08:22

-A mirror! Look at this bedroom!

-Wow!

0:08:250:08:29

Oh, Glenn, look what we've got to wake up to in the morning.

0:08:290:08:31

I can see me here...

0:08:330:08:34

with my cup of tea...

0:08:340:08:36

..which you have gone and made.

0:08:360:08:38

It's fun and games now, but with a life-changing decision looming,

0:08:400:08:44

this week is make or break time for the Morses.

0:08:440:08:47

I hope that, come the end of the week, we're not still thinking -

0:08:470:08:50

Shall we? Shan't we? What if?

0:08:500:08:54

I hope to have all the answers in place.

0:08:540:08:56

That Sue and I can both make a decision,

0:08:560:08:59

and it would be nice if Sue and I both made the same decision,

0:08:590:09:02

whether it's to come to New Zealand or stay in the UK.

0:09:020:09:05

As long as we're both of the same opinion,

0:09:050:09:07

then that's what I hope will happen.

0:09:070:09:11

Back in the UK, the Morses live in a three-bedroom detached house

0:09:140:09:17

in Whitecroft in the Forest of Dean.

0:09:170:09:19

It's a stunning location,

0:09:190:09:21

so they anticipate its value at around £450,000,

0:09:210:09:24

and they're keen to replicate it in New Zealand.

0:09:240:09:28

The wish list would be similar to what we've got here now.

0:09:280:09:31

We don't want to be on top of other people,

0:09:310:09:34

and we don't want other people on top of us.

0:09:340:09:36

We'd want at least four bedrooms.

0:09:360:09:38

Because we would hope that friends and family would come out to stay.

0:09:380:09:41

Ideally, I would say three beds and an annexe.

0:09:410:09:44

Within commuting distance of Sue's work.

0:09:440:09:47

A wood-burner would be very nice.

0:09:470:09:50

So an acre of land with some trees would be ideal, really.

0:09:500:09:52

That's quite a list, let's hope they're not left wanting.

0:09:540:09:58

Potentially, Sue and Glenn have around £450,000

0:09:580:10:01

to spend on their new home.

0:10:010:10:04

To show them what's available in the Auckland area,

0:10:040:10:06

we've selected three properties -

0:10:060:10:09

one on budget, one their ideal home, and one in-between.

0:10:090:10:13

After seeing each, they'll find out what they cost.

0:10:130:10:17

First stop is Puhoi, a 40-minute drive from the centre of Auckland.

0:10:170:10:21

This small town offers the privacy and laid-back lifestyle

0:10:210:10:24

Glenn and Sue are after.

0:10:240:10:26

Leaving Grace and Jack with a childminder,

0:10:260:10:29

they are keen to see what this three-bedroomed house could offer.

0:10:290:10:32

Mm, nice!

0:10:320:10:34

Oh, and yeah, very spacious, isn't it? Lots and lots of room.

0:10:340:10:37

-Wow.

-Yeah.

0:10:370:10:40

-Gives quite a good impression when you walk in, doesn't it?

-Yeah.

0:10:400:10:43

-Lovely kitchen.

-Yeah. Good.

-Nice and bright and airy.

0:10:430:10:46

-You've always wanted one of the centre consoles, haven't you?

-Mm.

0:10:460:10:49

No, it's good. You know, it's OK.

0:10:490:10:51

But, I think, I ideally, if you are looking for perfect,

0:10:510:10:54

a bigger family room.

0:10:540:10:56

I think the only thing with this is having the formal dining area

0:10:560:11:00

right off the lounge.

0:11:000:11:02

If you had friends over who had children as well,

0:11:020:11:05

which is probably likely, the kids have got nowhere to go.

0:11:050:11:09

This house certainly isn't overlooked

0:11:090:11:12

and has the land Sue and Glenn want.

0:11:120:11:14

But will they be able to see past the grey skies to appreciate it?

0:11:140:11:18

It's got the sort of land - the volume of land -

0:11:180:11:21

that we were looking for.

0:11:210:11:23

The property comes around the fence, up the side of the track there,

0:11:230:11:27

then round the back end, there's about two-and-a-half acres.

0:11:270:11:30

But if Jack wants to go out and kick a football around,

0:11:300:11:33

there is nowhere on the slope there he can kick a football around.

0:11:330:11:37

Glenn's not happy with the lay of this land.

0:11:370:11:40

Is there anything with the house that will get them excited?

0:11:400:11:43

This looks like the master suite.

0:11:430:11:46

-Lovely.

-Yeah.

-Again, it's not huge, is it? Not huge.

0:11:460:11:49

-But is perfectly...

-It's bigger than...

0:11:490:11:52

-Certainly a lot bigger than we've got back at home.

-Reckon?

0:11:520:11:54

Yeah, yeah, definitely. You think, back home,

0:11:540:11:58

we're always squeezing by the bottom of the bed, aren't we?

0:11:580:12:00

To get by. And this bed is the same size as ours back home.

0:12:000:12:03

Ideally, the Morses would have a spare bedroom for visitors, too.

0:12:030:12:07

Although, it's showing at the moment as three bedrooms,

0:12:070:12:11

I think that we would definitely need at least four.

0:12:110:12:14

It might not be perfect, but with their £450,000 budget,

0:12:140:12:18

could they afford it?

0:12:180:12:20

-Shall we look?

-Go on, you do it.

0:12:220:12:23

£426,250.

0:12:280:12:30

That's a lot more than I thought.

0:12:320:12:34

It's not the sort of money that we're prepared to throw at it,

0:12:340:12:37

to give us what we are looking for.

0:12:370:12:41

OK?

0:12:410:12:42

-Bit disappointed, really.

-Mm.

0:12:430:12:45

It is a nice house. It is a nice house.

0:12:450:12:47

Doesn't bode well for the next one.

0:12:470:12:49

This property's on budget,

0:12:490:12:51

but it just doesn't have the space the Morses are looking for.

0:12:510:12:54

Hopefully, the next one will get the dream back on track.

0:12:540:12:57

Property two is in Coatesville, in the Rodney district.

0:13:010:13:05

The rural aspect of this area should definitely appeal to Glenn,

0:13:050:13:08

and with just a short commute to the city,

0:13:080:13:10

Sue could be happy here, too.

0:13:100:13:12

But property is in demand,

0:13:120:13:14

so houses can be on the pricey side.

0:13:140:13:17

This kitchen is really good, isn't it? Great proportion.

0:13:170:13:20

Lots of space for the kids.

0:13:200:13:22

They can be outside on the decking or in here

0:13:220:13:25

while we're cooking and getting things sorted.

0:13:250:13:29

It's a good start.

0:13:290:13:31

-And there's a little treat for Sue in store, too.

-Wood burner.

0:13:310:13:35

Wood burner's great.

0:13:350:13:37

It's almost like a straight-through room to the kitchen.

0:13:370:13:39

It is separated by that fancy nice wall there,

0:13:390:13:43

which is quite a nice feature.

0:13:430:13:44

Great idea. It's lovely.

0:13:440:13:46

I'm really impressed.

0:13:460:13:47

This house has four bedrooms,

0:13:470:13:49

checking off another point on Glenn and Sue's wish list.

0:13:490:13:52

This must be the master bedroom.

0:13:520:13:56

It's not huge, but it's...

0:13:560:13:58

-Look at the views!

-Yeah.

0:13:580:14:00

Massive windows.

0:14:000:14:02

Oh, blimey. Could you imagine waking up to that every morning?

0:14:020:14:06

-Oh, there's a hot tub there as well.

-Oh, yeah.

0:14:060:14:09

-So I could get straight out of bed...

-Into the hot tub.

-..into the hot tub

0:14:090:14:12

and you can bring my cup of tea. To the hot tub.

0:14:120:14:15

Very nice.

0:14:150:14:16

I think a hot tub's just been added to Sue's list!

0:14:160:14:20

The property also has outbuildings,

0:14:200:14:22

-which could provide space for an annexe.

-Oh, wow!

0:14:220:14:24

This is your play area, then.

0:14:240:14:26

This is a serious garage!

0:14:260:14:28

Whoa, my goodness!

0:14:280:14:29

This is a little sleep-out.

0:14:290:14:31

Look, a little self-contained unit.

0:14:310:14:33

It's not ready for... to actually be habitable, is it?

0:14:330:14:37

But you can see the potential.

0:14:370:14:40

That is pretty amazing.

0:14:400:14:41

You could certainly do something with this, very easily.

0:14:410:14:44

You don't need a garage that big, love.

0:14:440:14:46

You'd have to forego your garage for a house for my mum.

0:14:460:14:49

SHE LAUGHS Yeah.

0:14:490:14:51

Glenn isn't committing to anything just yet.

0:14:510:14:54

At least, not until he finds out if it's within their £450,000 budget.

0:14:540:14:59

If we're looking at turning those buildings into an annexe,

0:14:590:15:04

or whatever, then we're going to be taking time doing that,

0:15:040:15:07

which is putting us back into exactly the same position

0:15:070:15:09

as we're in now in the UK - having precious little time with the kids.

0:15:090:15:12

Well, it won't so much, because you are not going to be working, are you?

0:15:120:15:15

So, you are going to have more...

0:15:150:15:17

you know, an additional 40 hours, 50 hours a week

0:15:170:15:20

to what you have got now.

0:15:200:15:22

-I am guessing...

-£550,000.

0:15:220:15:25

Yeah, I was going to say £550,000.

0:15:250:15:28

-Shall we have a look?

-Go on, then.

0:15:280:15:31

SHE READS IT OUT

0:15:350:15:38

So, it is over-budget, but it's not...

0:15:380:15:40

so out of reach that you'd need to go to work, as well.

0:15:400:15:44

This suits our purpose a lot more, doesn't it? A lot better.

0:15:440:15:47

We could see ourselves here with the kids, couldn't really see ourselves

0:15:470:15:50

at the other property with the kids. Erm...

0:15:500:15:53

And the schools are apparently very good, so...

0:15:530:15:56

location, house, school, all coming together.

0:15:560:15:58

-Well, that's very positive.

-Yeah. Yeah, good.

0:15:580:16:01

I'm pleased with that.

0:16:010:16:02

This house offers everything Glenn and Sue need,

0:16:020:16:05

but at £72,000 over-budget, it would mean a mortgage.

0:16:050:16:09

And that will place more pressure on Sue as the family's sole earner.

0:16:090:16:14

Let's hope property three can give the family an affordable alternative

0:16:140:16:19

that's worth moving halfway around the world for.

0:16:190:16:22

Still in the Rodney district, this five-bedroom house

0:16:220:16:25

is also close to an excellent primary school,

0:16:250:16:28

which could make it perfect for Jack and Grace.

0:16:280:16:30

Oh, my goodness!

0:16:300:16:31

That...erm...

0:16:340:16:36

Speechless.

0:16:360:16:38

..certainly gives you the wow factor when you walk in, doesn't it?

0:16:380:16:41

That is... I'm speechless. That is just amazing.

0:16:410:16:43

That's... That's what you call a family area.

0:16:440:16:49

That is... Yeah.

0:16:490:16:51

It's given me goose bumps.

0:16:510:16:53

As first impressions go, that's pretty good!

0:16:530:16:56

Not wholly sure about the green, but, erm...

0:16:570:17:00

-I just think this is amazing.

-I think the green's quite nice.

0:17:000:17:03

I think it sets it off quite nicely.

0:17:030:17:06

A touch different.

0:17:060:17:07

I could seriously see myself cooking in here.

0:17:070:17:10

Oh, good. At least I wouldn't have to do it.

0:17:100:17:13

IF you're going to be a stay-at-home dad,

0:17:130:17:15

cooking might be part of the deal, Glenn!

0:17:150:17:18

Everywhere you look it's just pure...

0:17:180:17:21

quality, isn't it? It's beautiful, beautiful stuff.

0:17:210:17:24

This must be the family bathroom.

0:17:240:17:26

-Oh, look at that, isn't that lovely?

-Yeah.

-Really nice detail.

0:17:260:17:30

Same quality in here as you've got everywhere else, isn't it?

0:17:320:17:34

-Yeah, it's just ideal, though, isn't it?

-It's perfect.

-Perfect.

-Yeah.

0:17:340:17:37

I think this is probably the biggest bedroom I've ever seen.

0:17:370:17:41

That is stunning.

0:17:410:17:43

And they haven't even seen the en suite.

0:17:440:17:48

-That's the business, isn't it?

-Wow!

-Look at that!

0:17:480:17:51

That's not a shower room, is it? It's huge. That is incredible.

0:17:530:17:56

-Yeah, I've moved in. I could live here.

-You could?

-Yeah.

0:17:570:18:01

Definitely.

0:18:010:18:03

You're going to need to get a job, Glenn.

0:18:040:18:08

Hidden in the garden is another handy feature.

0:18:080:18:11

Oh, my goodness.

0:18:110:18:13

Another little, erm...room for your mum and dad.

0:18:140:18:17

-Oh, it's lovely again.

-Isn't it? Yeah.

0:18:180:18:21

Separate from the house.

0:18:210:18:24

Definitely give visitors, long-term visitors,

0:18:240:18:27

a little bit more seclusion and independence, wouldn't it?

0:18:270:18:31

-And this is better for me than being in the doghouse.

-You always are.

0:18:310:18:35

Mm.

0:18:350:18:36

This house has everything they need, and more.

0:18:360:18:39

It's wowed the Morses.

0:18:390:18:40

But when it comes to cost, will it be too good to be true?

0:18:400:18:44

I will start by saying it is well, well, well over our budget.

0:18:440:18:48

But, I am going to say...

0:18:480:18:51

in the region of £750,000.

0:18:510:18:53

I think £800,000.

0:18:530:18:55

-Shall we have a look? Are you ready?

-Go on, then. I'm ready.

0:18:560:19:01

-Well, that's amazing.

-I am quite shocked at that.

0:19:010:19:05

£566,500.

0:19:050:19:07

I mean, it's well over our budget.

0:19:070:19:11

But the good news is, it's a lot less over-budget,

0:19:110:19:14

than Glenn and Sue anticipated.

0:19:140:19:16

It would be something that could be achievable.

0:19:160:19:19

House-hunting started slowly,

0:19:190:19:21

with the property neither Sue nor Glenn were sold on.

0:19:210:19:24

The next was almost perfect, but £72,000 over budget.

0:19:240:19:29

The final property ticked all their boxes,

0:19:290:19:32

but owning it would depend on a good pension for Glenn,

0:19:320:19:34

and Sue increasing her earning potential.

0:19:340:19:37

So, based on their day, would the couple choose

0:19:370:19:40

a life in New Zealand or the UK?

0:19:400:19:42

We've had a really great day today looking at houses in New Zealand,

0:19:420:19:46

and based on that, our vote goes to...

0:19:460:19:50

-New Zealand.

-New Zealand.

0:19:570:19:59

-I'm not shocked.

-You sure?

-Yeah. You definitely going New Zealand?

0:20:010:20:05

-Yeah. It was a close-run thing, I must say.

-Really?

-Yeah.

0:20:050:20:08

Because you do...erm...

0:20:080:20:10

They're expensive, but I think pound for pound, or dollar for dollar,

0:20:100:20:14

you do get a little bit more in New Zealand than you do in the UK.

0:20:140:20:19

New Zealand! SHE LAUGHS

0:20:190:20:21

Property may have won her over, but Sue's all too aware

0:20:280:20:30

that if the family are to have the home they'd love in New Zealand,

0:20:300:20:35

she'll need to be earning a good salary.

0:20:350:20:37

Back in the UK, she is a self-employed quantity surveyor,

0:20:370:20:41

juggling work with caring for the children.

0:20:410:20:44

If the family move, she'll work full-time

0:20:440:20:46

leaving Glenn to look after the little ones,

0:20:460:20:48

a plan she isn't yet totally comfortable with.

0:20:480:20:52

I've got to be able to travel to work easily enough.

0:20:530:20:56

I don't want to be spending an hour and a half a day travelling to work

0:20:560:21:00

and an hour and a half travelling home from work,

0:21:000:21:03

because I won't see the kids ever.

0:21:030:21:04

It has to be the right salary.

0:21:040:21:08

Because if it's not the right salary,

0:21:080:21:11

then we won't achieve the lifestyle we need to achieve.

0:21:110:21:15

And if we can't do that, then what's the point?

0:21:160:21:18

Because Glenn would have to work as well.

0:21:180:21:20

It's got to be something I enjoy,

0:21:200:21:22

otherwise I'm going to resent it.

0:21:220:21:24

I really am going to resent it.

0:21:240:21:25

And that's probably the beginning of the end.

0:21:250:21:30

For the adventure.

0:21:300:21:31

The Morses' ideal future all hangs on Sue getting the right job.

0:21:310:21:36

We've arranged for her to visit a North Shore construction company

0:21:360:21:40

where she meets project manager and expat Jamie Gibson.

0:21:400:21:43

How easy do you think it's going to be,

0:21:430:21:46

for me to find a job, in reality?

0:21:460:21:48

The way the market is at the moment,

0:21:480:21:50

I think you'll find a job quite easily.

0:21:500:21:52

The market is definitely picking up here

0:21:520:21:55

when you compare it to what it's like in the UK.

0:21:550:21:58

There's need for skilled, professional

0:21:580:22:00

construction managers and quantity surveyors.

0:22:000:22:02

So, personally, I don't think you'll have much trouble.

0:22:020:22:05

In the UK I've been contracted for 40 hours a week.

0:22:050:22:08

In reality, it's sort of - you've been contracted for 40 hours a week

0:22:080:22:12

but in reality it's probably 50 as a minimum.

0:22:120:22:15

-Yeah, I'd say 50.

-Is it the same here?

-Yeah, I'd say 50 hours minimum.

0:22:150:22:18

Depending on what size job you're on.

0:22:180:22:20

That's not great news.

0:22:200:22:23

While Sue checks out work,

0:22:250:22:27

Glenn's visiting Browns Bay primary School.

0:22:270:22:31

Grace does well at school in the UK, so he's keen to ensure that

0:22:310:22:34

New Zealand will offer a good education system.

0:22:340:22:37

Hello, Grace. Welcome to our school!

0:22:370:22:39

While principal Roger Hartnett's

0:22:390:22:41

arranged for Grace to spend some time in a class,

0:22:410:22:44

Glenn meets vice principal Jackie Carr

0:22:440:22:47

to hear about Kiwi-style education.

0:22:470:22:50

They seem to start school a year earlier in the UK,

0:22:500:22:53

which means, theoretically, Grace could arrive at this school

0:22:530:22:57

having already had an extra year's education.

0:22:570:23:00

Regardless of which class they're in

0:23:000:23:03

and which area they're working on,

0:23:030:23:06

they would be assessed and their next learning steps ascertained,

0:23:060:23:11

and they would work on this curriculum continuum.

0:23:110:23:14

So, it's not about being in year three

0:23:140:23:16

and this is what you do and these are the books you read,

0:23:160:23:20

it's about being in the year three and you're at this level

0:23:200:23:23

-and you're moving on to whatever comes next.

-OK.

0:23:230:23:26

That's exactly what Glenn needs to hear.

0:23:260:23:29

A move shouldn't hinder Grace's education.

0:23:290:23:32

And after a quick look around,

0:23:320:23:34

it seems New Zealand schools also offer additional benefits.

0:23:340:23:39

-Guess what I've seen that you would like.

-What?

0:23:390:23:42

You have a look. Around that way.

0:23:420:23:44

All right, come on, we'll go this way and have a look, shall we?

0:23:440:23:48

Every class uses the pool several times a week.

0:23:480:23:51

Every child by the end of year six

0:23:510:23:53

will be relatively proficient in being able to sail a little yacht.

0:23:530:24:00

Look at that!

0:24:000:24:02

Back at the construction company,

0:24:020:24:04

Sue has scheduled a meeting with managing director Bruno Godecki

0:24:040:24:07

for that all-important question.

0:24:070:24:09

And what sort of salary could I expect to achieve?

0:24:090:24:13

For a senior quantity surveyor, I'd say the starting salary

0:24:130:24:16

is around about 95,000, plus car,

0:24:160:24:20

and that really goes up to - for a senior QS,

0:24:200:24:23

who's managing, say, a 30 or 40 million project,

0:24:230:24:27

with, say, two or three QSs reporting to them -

0:24:270:24:31

I would say that goes up to about 125,000.

0:24:310:24:34

The fact that you haven't worked in New Zealand,

0:24:340:24:36

I'd expect that 100-110, plus car, would be about

0:24:360:24:39

where I'd expect someone would make you an offer.

0:24:390:24:42

So, Sue could initially earn up to 20,000 more than at home.

0:24:440:24:47

As the only owner, it's a positive outcome.

0:24:470:24:51

But how will it impact on her choice between work in the UK,

0:24:510:24:54

or New Zealand?

0:24:540:24:56

After a very interesting day learning about the work opportunities,

0:24:560:24:59

my vote goes to...

0:24:590:25:01

New Zealand.

0:25:050:25:08

I feel a little bit better about the salary,

0:25:080:25:10

and the possibility of getting a job,

0:25:100:25:13

should we decide to make the move to New Zealand.

0:25:130:25:17

I think overall it has been a really constructive and useful day.

0:25:170:25:21

That should be great news for Glenn.

0:25:210:25:23

-KIDS:

-Mummy! Mummy! Mummy!

0:25:230:25:26

Hello!

0:25:260:25:27

But, reunited with the children, Sue's resolve begins to waver.

0:25:270:25:32

-One negative for me was that he said they work 50 hours a week.

-Yeah.

0:25:320:25:37

Erm...

0:25:370:25:40

-and I think, you know, five 10-hour days...

-Mm.

0:25:400:25:43

Potentially that could be... Could be a little bit of a problem.

0:25:460:25:49

That impacts on the very reason we're coming out here for.

0:25:490:25:53

-Yes, absolutely.

-Time with the kids.

0:25:530:25:55

Could the reality of so much time away from the children

0:25:550:25:58

be the beginning of the end of the Morses' dream?

0:25:580:26:01

I really love my kids, and I feel I don't want to let anyone down, but...

0:26:010:26:06

I can't, right now, imagine not being with them.

0:26:120:26:16

Sue faces a tough decision.

0:26:230:26:25

If Glenn's to spend more time at home,

0:26:250:26:28

she'll be seeing less of little Grace and Jack.

0:26:280:26:31

And if she can't come to terms with working full-time,

0:26:310:26:34

the family's dream future may be hanging in the balance.

0:26:340:26:38

Could a day sampling the New Zealand lifestyle

0:26:380:26:40

bring her back round?

0:26:400:26:42

Glenn and Sue's desire to uproot their young family

0:26:470:26:50

is driven by their need for more time together.

0:26:500:26:52

At home they love being outdoors as a family,

0:26:550:26:59

so today they take the children for a picnic by the beach.

0:26:590:27:03

Come on, Jack!

0:27:030:27:04

Come on, Jack Morse. Keep up. Quick, run through the water!

0:27:040:27:07

No, he's going to get soaking!

0:27:070:27:09

Pull your shorts up, mate.

0:27:090:27:12

For Sue, it's a chance to reflect on the dilemma she faces.

0:27:120:27:16

To look around at this, it's just stunning.

0:27:160:27:19

And to imagine that's going to be on your doorstep, erm...

0:27:190:27:23

It's really exciting, erm...

0:27:230:27:25

but it still doesn't take away from the fact that

0:27:250:27:27

it's on my doorstep two days a week,

0:27:270:27:30

but it's on Glenn and the kids' doorstep seven days a week.

0:27:300:27:33

And Glenn knows their dream of a new life is under threat.

0:27:330:27:37

I think she's still slightly apprehensive

0:27:370:27:40

that she is going to be working 40 or 50 hours a week,

0:27:400:27:43

which takes away from the family,

0:27:430:27:46

and away from the house, and away from the enjoyment with the kids.

0:27:460:27:49

For Sue, it's difficult balancing the hope of a better life

0:27:490:27:52

for her children, with the cost of earning it.

0:27:520:27:55

At the end of the day, they're the ones that are important.

0:28:030:28:06

Yeah, it's been positive.

0:28:060:28:08

I feel a little bit more positive than I did last night.

0:28:080:28:11

Because that was quite hard, last night.

0:28:110:28:13

I really felt quite emotional last night about the whole thing. Erm...

0:28:130:28:17

But a little bit more positive today.

0:28:170:28:19

But still can't get over the sadness.

0:28:190:28:22

SHE LAUGHS

0:28:220:28:24

To be able to come down to the beach,

0:28:270:28:30

spend some time like this, whenever you want to, must be fantastic.

0:28:300:28:35

JACK SQUEALS

0:28:350:28:37

This afternoon has been everything we wanted it to be.

0:28:390:28:43

You couldn't wish for better.

0:28:430:28:45

Beautiful beach, the sea is amazingly warm.

0:28:450:28:48

That's surprised us all, how warm the sea is.

0:28:480:28:51

The weather is great,

0:28:510:28:53

the kids have had a fantastic time.

0:28:530:28:56

It's cost us nothing. Erm...

0:28:560:28:58

It's just been absolutely fantastic.

0:28:580:29:00

Just exactly what we were looking for in New Zealand.

0:29:000:29:04

I think I can guess how Glenn's going to vote,

0:29:040:29:06

but having sampled just a little of the lifestyle New Zealand can offer,

0:29:060:29:09

what about the rest of the family?

0:29:090:29:11

Based on what we've done today, we vote for...

0:29:110:29:14

-ALL:

-New Zealand!

0:29:210:29:23

Well done, Jack.

0:29:240:29:26

With Sue voting for New Zealand,

0:29:300:29:32

the Morse family could be a step closer

0:29:320:29:34

to starting a new life down under.

0:29:340:29:36

But before they commit, they're keen to find out

0:29:360:29:39

just how easy it will be to build up a new group of friends.

0:29:390:29:42

-Hi.

-Hi!

-Can we join you?

0:29:420:29:43

Absolutely. Come and sit down here.

0:29:430:29:45

With Glenn potentially becoming a stay-at-home dad,

0:29:450:29:48

we've arranged for the whole family to visit a toddler group

0:29:480:29:51

for a taste of what his new life could be like.

0:29:510:29:53

I see there's a lot of mothers here

0:29:530:29:55

-and perhaps only one or two fathers. Is that normal?

-Yeah.

0:29:550:29:58

We get a few dads who come in.

0:29:580:30:01

And do you have to be a member? Sign up? Or can you just drop in?

0:30:010:30:04

-Just drop in.

-Oh, that's brilliant.

0:30:040:30:06

-Everyone's welcome.

-Brilliant. That's really good.

0:30:060:30:09

Jack's wasting no time getting stuck in,

0:30:090:30:12

but is this really something Glenn could consider doing?

0:30:120:30:15

I'm sure it'll take some getting used to if we do come out here,

0:30:150:30:18

the fact that Sue will be at work all day long

0:30:180:30:20

and I will have the kids.

0:30:200:30:22

A complete reversal of what we're doing at the moment.

0:30:220:30:25

But saying that, if at the end of the day the children are happy

0:30:250:30:29

and as a family we're spending more time together,

0:30:290:30:32

no matter what else happens,

0:30:320:30:34

that is the one reason we're looking to come out to New Zealand.

0:30:340:30:37

While Glenn enjoys time with the children,

0:30:370:30:39

Sue gets chatting to an expat.

0:30:390:30:42

Did you find it was easy to become accepted into these sort of groups,

0:30:420:30:47

and made friends easily enough?

0:30:470:30:49

In New Zealand so many people come from somewhere else,

0:30:490:30:51

people are really open to making new friends.

0:30:510:30:54

And certainly, when you've got children,

0:30:540:30:56

it's just incredibly easy to talk to other parents.

0:30:560:31:00

So it's a really open community.

0:31:000:31:01

It looks like making friends could be easier than they think,

0:31:040:31:08

and Glenn could be swapping his police car for a pink teacup.

0:31:080:31:11

-Stay...

-Go!

0:31:170:31:18

The whole family are enjoying what New Zealand could offer,

0:31:180:31:22

but their new life down under rests on Sue working full-time.

0:31:220:31:25

And if they are to avoid a huge mortgage,

0:31:250:31:28

they'll need to get a good price for their property back the UK,

0:31:280:31:32

which they think is worth £450,000.

0:31:320:31:34

We sent round two estate agents for professional valuations.

0:31:350:31:39

This is good, having a separate entrance hall.

0:31:400:31:42

Especially in the country.

0:31:420:31:44

Excellent-sized dining room.

0:31:450:31:48

Amazing views to the surrounding woodland outside.

0:31:480:31:52

Bright kitchen, a little bit small for a family house.

0:31:520:31:55

A little bit dated.

0:31:550:31:57

-It is pretty small and it is...

-Small and dated, yeah.

0:31:570:32:00

But it's got a range in it. He's in our dining room.

0:32:020:32:06

Excellent conservatory.

0:32:060:32:08

Probably my favourite room in the property, so far.

0:32:080:32:11

It is a nice room.

0:32:110:32:13

-It is nice to sit in there when the sun's shining.

-Look at you two.

0:32:130:32:17

A relatively decent-sized master bedroom.

0:32:180:32:22

The extension obviously would be a positive to the master bedroom,

0:32:220:32:27

especially if they've got plumbing

0:32:270:32:29

and considering an en suite/dressing room.

0:32:290:32:32

Might have to get that finished.

0:32:320:32:34

Yeah, might get have to get the en suite finished.

0:32:340:32:37

OK, and got a little boy's room here.

0:32:380:32:40

Nice views, exposed stone wall.

0:32:400:32:43

-Whose is that?

-My room!

0:32:440:32:45

He has got pink curtains, though, hasn't he, still?

0:32:450:32:48

This property is in a really superb location.

0:32:480:32:51

The upstairs accommodation is slightly limited however,

0:32:510:32:54

and in today's market I would value it in the region of £400-£425,000,

0:32:540:32:59

and for a quick sale, £375,000.

0:32:590:33:03

I would place this property on the market between £415 and £425,000,

0:33:030:33:09

for a quick sale I would place it on the market in the region of 400.

0:33:090:33:13

Oh-ho-ho-ho!

0:33:130:33:16

That's over £50,000 less than Glenn and Sue were expecting,

0:33:160:33:20

and could have a substantial effect on their plans.

0:33:200:33:23

-375 is just ridiculous.

-Yeah.

0:33:230:33:26

It's just... It's just not...

0:33:270:33:29

That's not realistic, in any way shape or form.

0:33:290:33:32

-Erm...

-But whether it's realistic or not, if that's what we get for it,

0:33:320:33:37

then that has a huge impact on what we would like to try and do.

0:33:370:33:42

I'm quite shocked really.

0:33:420:33:43

Quite shocked.

0:33:430:33:45

To see if they can still afford the move,

0:33:470:33:49

we prepared a cost of living comparison,

0:33:490:33:52

based on calculations they've provided.

0:33:520:33:54

Milk... £7.51 difference in the cost of milk.

0:33:560:34:00

-That's a huge difference, isn't it?

-Massive.

0:34:000:34:03

24 pack of cereal - £1.47 in the UK, £10.56!

0:34:030:34:08

And we get through a phenomenal amount of cereal.

0:34:080:34:11

Broccoli is cheaper - 41p a kilo.

0:34:110:34:15

But I don't like broccoli.

0:34:150:34:17

Won't be having any of that, then.

0:34:170:34:19

We'll have to live on it, to make the saving.

0:34:190:34:22

It looks like the food shop could be a lot more expensive.

0:34:220:34:25

That's an extra £272 a month on groceries.

0:34:260:34:30

Basing their sums on the second property they viewed,

0:34:300:34:33

they'll now have to factor in a mortgage.

0:34:330:34:36

-Obviously, that was based on 72.5 rather than 102.5.

-Yep.

0:34:360:34:41

So that's going to work out roughly...

0:34:410:34:45

We'd be worse off every single month, by £1,451.

0:34:490:34:53

That's a lot.

0:34:560:34:57

That could mean hopes for the family's future are over.

0:34:570:35:00

There's got to be something...

0:35:000:35:02

Your salary,

0:35:040:35:06

See, it's got my income.

0:35:060:35:09

What it hasn't shown is...

0:35:090:35:12

my pension.

0:35:120:35:13

Because when I retire from the police very shortly,

0:35:130:35:17

I will be getting approximately £1,200 per calendar month

0:35:170:35:20

here in New Zealand, as well.

0:35:200:35:22

And that's not showing, is it?

0:35:220:35:24

Oh, my gosh. Yeah.

0:35:240:35:25

-Is that showing?

-No. It's not.

0:35:250:35:27

So that would make that...

0:35:270:35:29

-1,451 into 251.

-251.

0:35:290:35:33

Well, that's better!

0:35:330:35:36

Phew! With Glenn's pension added in,

0:35:360:35:38

the family would actually be able to make the move work.

0:35:380:35:43

Based on the cost of living figures we've just gone through,

0:35:430:35:46

our vote goes to...

0:35:460:35:48

-New Zealand.

-New Zealand.

0:35:570:35:58

I was definitely going to vote for the UK.

0:36:000:36:02

I was going to vote for the UK until we realised the mistake we'd made.

0:36:020:36:05

-Mm.

-We knew we would take a hit.

-Mistake in the right way, though.

0:36:050:36:09

We knew we would take a hit, coming to New Zealand, financially

0:36:090:36:13

erm, but it's...a hit that I think we can put up with

0:36:130:36:17

if we tweak the figures.

0:36:170:36:18

Yeah, there's always going to be movement, isn't there?

0:36:180:36:22

Yeah, adjust our living costs.

0:36:220:36:25

Yeah, we can live with that.

0:36:250:36:26

Both Glenn and Sue are worried about leaving,

0:36:300:36:33

and taking Grace and Jack away from relatives in the UK.

0:36:330:36:37

Before they make their final decision on a move,

0:36:370:36:39

the Morses sit down to watch messages from friends and family.

0:36:390:36:43

Would you two like to see some pictures and some messages from home?

0:36:430:36:47

-From Nanny and Grandad?

-Yeah!

0:36:470:36:48

And Laura, and Auntie Nina and Nanny Pauline?

0:36:480:36:51

I think it would be lovely.

0:36:510:36:53

Hi, everyone. Hope you're having a good time in New Zealand.

0:36:530:36:57

Hi, everyone. How are you?

0:36:570:36:59

Are you having a nice time?

0:36:590:37:02

Hello, Sue and Glenn, Jack and Grace. How are you?

0:37:020:37:05

I know that if I was to call on Glenn,

0:37:050:37:07

he'd be down to help me straightaway.

0:37:070:37:09

And vice versa. I'd do the same for him.

0:37:090:37:11

-FATHER:

-He's good boy. He is a good boy.

0:37:110:37:13

He is a very, very, hard-working lad.

0:37:130:37:16

And devoted to his family.

0:37:160:37:17

I've always gotten on well with Sue,

0:37:170:37:19

with her being my stepmum. We've always had a very good relationship.

0:37:190:37:23

She's always there with a laugh and a smile

0:37:230:37:24

and usually a glass of wine, as well.

0:37:240:37:27

If I just need someone to talk to,

0:37:270:37:29

and sometimes you talk to the children and...

0:37:290:37:31

it lifts you.

0:37:310:37:33

It gives you that feeling that...

0:37:330:37:36

you've really got a purpose in life.

0:37:360:37:38

Grace is a very, very caring little girl.

0:37:380:37:42

If our Jack develops a sense of rugby,

0:37:420:37:45

don't let them play for New Zealand.

0:37:450:37:47

Bring him back home, we need him.

0:37:470:37:49

Jack is his own little character.

0:37:490:37:51

He can be very stubborn if he doesn't want to do something.

0:37:510:37:55

There's no way you can do it unless you bribe him with some chocolate.

0:37:550:37:58

I will miss you a lot when you go.

0:37:580:38:01

Especially little Grace, I have to say.

0:38:010:38:04

But do have a brilliant time, if you do decide to go out there.

0:38:040:38:07

And don't worry at all about us, we will be absolutely fine.

0:38:070:38:11

When you think that both he and Sue

0:38:110:38:14

and the children are going to the other side of the world,

0:38:140:38:18

and keeping in mind my age,

0:38:180:38:21

it could be the last time I see them.

0:38:210:38:24

It's a heck of a wrench.

0:38:240:38:25

It really is.

0:38:250:38:27

Whatever you decide, we will always, always be here for you.

0:38:270:38:31

Love you all.

0:38:310:38:33

I think your Dad saying that...it could be the last time they see us...

0:38:340:38:38

That's quite harsh, because, erm...

0:38:390:38:41

That's sort of taking them away from the kids,

0:38:430:38:46

and the kids away from them.

0:38:460:38:48

And Laura.

0:38:480:38:49

Laura and Grace is such a special thing, isn't it?

0:38:540:38:57

Sorry, Grace.

0:38:580:39:00

Watching messages from back home

0:39:150:39:17

has been a painful reminder of what the family would be leaving behind.

0:39:170:39:21

Combined with Sue's concerns about spending so much time

0:39:210:39:24

away from Grace and Jack,

0:39:240:39:26

could the Morses' dream of a new family life in New Zealand be over?

0:39:260:39:30

The family are about to decide, once and for all, where they are

0:39:410:39:45

about to spend a future, and the consequences are not lost on Glenn.

0:39:450:39:49

It comes down to make-your-mind-up time,

0:39:490:39:51

and this is really no longer a pipe dream.

0:39:510:39:53

We're talking about shall we/shan't we, could we/can't we.

0:39:530:39:58

This is it.

0:39:580:40:00

We now need to make up our minds - are we coming out, or are we not?

0:40:000:40:03

It's the biggest decision we will ever make in our lives.

0:40:030:40:07

Without a doubt.

0:40:070:40:08

And we've got to get it right.

0:40:080:40:11

I'm pretty sure Glenn's going to vote New Zealand,

0:40:140:40:17

because I think Glenn looks at things from a practical

0:40:170:40:19

rather than an emotional point of view.

0:40:190:40:22

I was hoping that I would be very clear by now, erm...

0:40:220:40:26

..with how I felt about things,

0:40:260:40:30

and I voted New Zealand without exception, so far.

0:40:300:40:36

For everything.

0:40:360:40:37

Erm...

0:40:370:40:39

And that almost makes it contradictory,

0:40:390:40:43

but I still do feel in turmoil about the final,

0:40:430:40:46

the actual final vote.

0:40:460:40:48

For Glenn, moving to New Zealand seemed like the only way

0:40:480:40:51

to get more quality time with the children.

0:40:510:40:54

After this week, which has been very intense,

0:40:540:40:56

and has answered a lot of questions for us,

0:40:560:40:58

it's given us the very thing that we're looking for.

0:40:580:41:01

Quality time with their kids.

0:41:010:41:03

Something that we cannot achieve in the UK.

0:41:030:41:06

I think it's quite feasible and quite achievable here in New Zealand.

0:41:060:41:10

But it's a much harder decision for Sue,

0:41:100:41:12

who's had to face the reality of what life would be like

0:41:120:41:15

as the family's only earner.

0:41:150:41:18

The decision literally has been...

0:41:180:41:21

..the last half an hour.

0:41:230:41:24

And that is...as true as I'm sat here now.

0:41:240:41:27

The decision I'm going to make -

0:41:280:41:31

I almost feel it rests with us -

0:41:310:41:34

is fine.

0:41:340:41:36

So, for better or worse, it's time for the family to choose

0:41:420:41:45

between a future in New Zealand or the UK.

0:41:450:41:48

We have had an absolutely amazing week this week.

0:41:480:41:51

It's been full of lots of highs and lows

0:41:510:41:54

and been incredibly emotional,

0:41:540:41:57

and at times quite difficult.

0:41:570:42:00

But based on everything that we have seen and done, we vote for...

0:42:000:42:04

ALL: New Zealand.

0:42:190:42:21

GRACE LAUGHS

0:42:210:42:23

That's not New Zealand, you Wally!

0:42:230:42:25

Did you... You voted New Zealand?

0:42:250:42:27

-Yeah. And, Grace, New Zealand?

-Yeah.

0:42:270:42:28

-Do you think you'll be happy to live here?

-Why, Grace?

0:42:280:42:31

Because I just thought it would be a better place.

0:42:310:42:35

With four votes for New Zealand,

0:42:350:42:38

it seems the Morses have made up their mind.

0:42:380:42:41

-All right?

-Yeah.

-Good girl.

0:42:410:42:43

Wait for us! Wait for us!

0:42:520:42:54
