A green ribbon. That's perfect.

-Teddington loves the colour green.

What shall we put on the front of the envelope?

-Oh, a picture of Teddington.

So he'll know the letter is for him.

-Shall I take it to Teddington?

-I've got a better idea.

A train going over a bridge.

Lots of trains.

A train chugging along the tracks.

Look - an old steam train! There's steam coming out of the chimney.

-A steam train chuff-chuff-chuffing.

-TRAIN TOOT-TOOTS

Can you make that sound?

BOTH: Whoo-whoo!

-Choo-ch-ch-choo. Choo-ch-ch-choo.

-Come on!

And this...can be the chimney at the front.

So it's a steam train!

When I was on the train, the train went under the dark tunnel.

I saw lots of people in the windows.

I think this carriage is a perfect place to stop for a story.

Get cosy and comfy. Sit down with your toy.

Here comes a tale for us all to enjoy.

One day, Teddington thought it would be fun

to go for a ride on a fast train into the city and back again.

All the toys agreed, it would be lots of fun, indeed.

They went to the station and queued for their tickets patiently.

"Can we have five tickets, please?" Teddington asked.

They stood on the platform, rom-pom-pom,

and Teddington made up his little song, which went like this...

We're going on a fast train Into the city and back again

It'll be quick, lickety-split It'll be fun, tiddle-dee-tum.

"Here it comes!" cried Toddler Tom.

It was a busy time of day and lots of people were taking the train.

"It's ever so crowded," said Teddington.

"So stick together, everyone."

The train doors opened very wide - pssht! -

and all the people squeezed inside.

A gentleman was very sweet, he stood and gave Miss Mouse his seat.

"We're not all together, oh, dear, oh, dear!

"I hope that everyone is here," thought Teddington.

He spotted Mo Mo and little Miss Mouse.

He spotted Tom amongst the crowd.

But where was Stuffy? Did anyone know?

"He's disappeared! Where did he go?" thought Teddington.

The train doors closed - psssht! - like that.

The train sped off along the track.

"Stuffy, where are you?" called Toddler Tom.

"I hope he got on," said Teddington.

"It isn't fun without Stuffy," said Toddler Tom.

They reached the city and the train stopped.

The crowds of people bustled off.

"If we wait," said Teddington, "I'm sure that Stuffy will come."

A smart-looking man in a uniform suddenly came up to them

with a trolley of parcels all piled up.

"Special delivery! You're all in luck," he said.

And there was Stuffy on the trolley

looking very cute and jolly.

"They thought I was a parcel," Stuffy said.

"They even put a stamp upon my head."

The toys were very happy then

because they'd found their lovely friend.

"I think that we should celebrate with cups of tea and fairy cakes,"

said Teddington. And so they had a little feast

with tea and cakes and lots of treats.

And little Miss Mouse was ever so pleased

because she had some crumbs of cheese.

And when it was time to go home again

they didn't catch a crowded train.

Oh, Stuffy, I'm so glad you're safe and sound!

-"SHOW ME" JINGLE

-Ooh, listen!

Come on, let's go outside.

CHILD: Puffs of cloud high in the sky,

what can you see, floating by?

A fish finger.

and I'll wave the flag and make sure people get

on and off the train safely. Are you ready? Let's go!

We've pulled in at a station. And who's this?

Yes, it's Teddington. Tickets, please.

Let's put you at the front of the train. I'll wave the flag

and off we go!
