Here comes a tale for us all to enjoy.

It was one of those days that was warm and sunny,

and Teddington Bear was dreaming of honey.

"I love honey, lovely, lovely honey, sweet honey, scrummy honey,

"sticky honey, runny honey,

"licky-lippy, slurp, yummy, yummy, perfect-in-my-tummy honey,"

Teddington mused to himself.

He looked around the garden and noticed lots of bees

flitting in the flowers and buzzing busily.

"They're collecting nectar to make delicious honey,"

thought Teddington.

"I think I'll be a honey bee too

"and do all the things that honey bees do," he said.

"But I won't get too close. They might not like it, I suppose."

He went off for a moment and came back with some things.

A little stripy jumper and fairy wings.

For his head, a hairband with some boing-y things.

And finally, a small kazoo, which made a "bzz" each time he blew.

Bzz, bzz, bzz.

He buzzed around the poppies just like a honey bee.

He buzzed around the lavender that smelt so sweet.

"Look at me. I can dance like a bee.

"I can wiggle my bottom, and I'm very buzzy. Hee-hee," he giggled.

It was time for the bees to fly home.

Back to their hive full of honeycombs.

"If only I could fly, then I could come," said Teddington.

Then he remembered he had honey of his own,

which he could share with everyone.

He took from the cupboard a great, big pot

of yummy, runny honey filled up to the top.

"Come on, toys, let's have a treat.

"There's a huge jar of honey for us all to eat."

So, all the toys sat round to share

with Teddington, the honey bear.

Oh, thanks, Bumble Bear. Now, where's Chris?

He should be wearing his pyjamas and slippers now.

Da-da-da-da-dee!

Oh! Well, Pui, I don't know what you're talking about.

I certainly don't feel comfy and cosy wearing bananas and flippers.
