How exciting! Is there a pizza inside?

Oh, no - there's this though.

Oh...dough.

You use dough to make the bottom piece of the pizza.

I think we have to make our very own pizza.

That'll be fun! That looks as soft as a pillow, Pui.

It is! And when you do this to the dough,

it's called kneading the dough.

Here comes a tale for us all to enjoy.

One day, Miss Mouse went to see Granddad's greenhouse.

It was quiet and warm and bright inside.

It was made of glass on every side.

There were lots of pots for planting things.

There were labels and tools and pieces of string.

"Your greenhouse is very nice, Granddad," said Miss Mouse.

Granddad grinned.

"Come on - let's plant something," he said.

"Oh, I know! Let's grow a juicy red tomato," squeaked Miss Mouse.

So Granddad found some tiny seeds.

"Tomato plants will grow from these," he said.

"They're teeny-weeny, just like me," whispered Miss Mouse.

They put some earth into a pot.

It felt all crumbly, damp and soft.

Miss Mouse used a bright red trowel to make a hole.

"This trowel is as red as a tomato," giggled Miss Mouse.

Then into the hole a seed was dropped

and earth was sprinkled on the top.

And when the seed was all tucked up,

they watered it - drip-drop, drip-drop - with a red watering can.

"This watering can is as red as a tomato too!" Miss Mouse giggled.

"Grow, tomato, grow! You're ever so slow," said Miss Mouse,

looking at the pot impatiently.

"Be patient, Miss Mouse," said Granddad.

"It takes a lot of days and nights

"and water and light to grow a tomato."

They waited.

After a while, a seedling grew

with little leaves - one, two.

And before too long, it grew big and strong!

Then one day when Miss Mouse went to Granddad's greenhouse,

she let out a very excited squeak.

"I can see a tomato, just under that leaf!" she cried.

It was the most perfect tomato she'd ever seen,

but it wasn't red - it was shiny...and GREEN!

"Oh dear! And I so wanted a red tomato," squeaked Miss Mouse.

"Well, come back tomorrow," said Granddad.

So the very next day, Miss Mouse popped by.

She looked at her tomato and let out a cry.

"It's red!" she said.

"It's red and shiny and it's perfect for me

"cos it's very sweet and tiny!

"Thank you, Granddad, for helping me grow

"a juicy red tomato from a tiny little seed."

That looked like a delicious tomato, Miss Mouse.

Pui!

-I've finished the pizza!

-Ooh!

There we go - look at that!

There are mushrooms, tomato, red and green pepper

and there's sweet corn and cheese too.

Ooh, I think it's ready to go in the oven.

-Set the timer, Chris!

-Oh yes, I'll do that.

When the timer makes this sound...

-TING!

-..the pizza's ready.

Listen out for that sound.
