Get cosy and comfy,

here comes a tale for us all to enjoy.

Stuffy had a fluffy chum

with an orange beak and a fuzzy tum.

A yellow chick, all soft and sweet.

And Stuffy called her Cheepy Cheep.

"I call her Cheepy Cheep, you know,

"cos chicks says 'cheep' when they mean 'hello'," said Stuffy.

All the toys liked Stuffy's chick

and Stuffy let them cuddle it.

"When you're grumpy, or feeling a bit sleepy,

"there's nothing as nice as a cuddle with Cheepy," said Stuffy.

Every baby needs its sleep

and so does little Cheepy Cheep.

"It would be a lovely thing for Cheepy to have a bed to sleep in,"

thought Stuffy one day.

"Where would be best for a little chick to rest?"

"What about my favourite chair? It's ever so comfy there,"

said Teddington Bear.

But Teddington's chair made quite a hard bed.

"Let's try something else instead," said Stuffy.

"A cushion can be nice and snug

"when you want to cuddle up," squeaked Miss Mouse.

But the cushion made a squashy bed.

"Oh. Let's try something else instead," said Stuffy.

"What about a bed of leaves underneath the shady trees?"

suggested Mo Mo Bot.

But the bed of leaves was quite uncomfy,

rather rough and rather lumpy.

So they tried lots of places after that.

A flower pot and a bobble hat.

A comfy scarf and a furry mat.

The washing basket, which was nice and snug.

But none of these places was comfy enough.

"I've had an idea for the perfect bed,

"where Cheepy Cheep can rest her head.

"It's soft and cosy, just right for a chick.

"It's Stuffy's orange, fluffy bit," suggested Mo Mo.

Cheepy Cheep lay on the fluff

and happily just cuddled up.

"We looked everywhere for the perfect bed

"and we found it here upon my head!

"Ha-ha-ha!" giggled Stuffy.

Oh, and Stuffy, your hair IS very fluffy!

Fluffy Stuffy!

Look! The fluffy, white clouds

are beginning to rain.

Look! Teddington's still ready for the rain.

Aw! You've been waiting all day, haven't you?

He's been waiting for it to pitter-patter, pitter-patter.
