it's lovely and soft. In fact, lots of babies eat bananas

when they're learning to eat food.

You can mash a banana, and then you don't need strong teeth to eat it.

I like slices of banana in my porridge for breakfast.

And bananas in my milkshake, and banana splits,

-which are bananas with lots of ice-cream and...

When you really like something, people say you're bananas about it.

Hmmm! So! This is Wee Willie Winkie running through the town

saying, "make sure you're in your beds before eight o'clock!"

Whoa-a-a!

-Mr Winkie, are you all right?

-I'm fine. These banana skins

-are dangerous.

-Only if you throw them on the floor instead of in the bin!

Oooh, terribly sorry, I was in a rush.

-Well, please, take care. We don't want any more slip ups.

Maybe that banana gave him too much energy.

But it certainly put a smile on my face.

Here comes a tale for us all to enjoy.

One day, Mo Mo Bot went to the market to shop.

"I'd like to buy some presents, but I'm not sure what," she said.

The market was full of little stalls,

selling fruit and vegetables,

music, handbags, clothes and shoes,

and lots of different sorts of foods.

Mo Mo thought the fruit looked yummy!

She opened her purse and took out some money.

"I'd like to buy something sunny and bright.

"That bunch of bananas looks just right,"

said Mo Mo Bot.

Mo Mo bought the bananas.

She spotted a stall that sold scarves and hats,

silky shawls and baseball caps.

"I'd like to buy something sunny and bright.

"That yellow bandana is just right,"

said Mo Mo Bot.

Mo Mo bought the bandana.

She came to an umbrella stall

and stood there looking at them all.

"I'd like to buy something sunny and bright.

"That yellow umbrella is just right,"

said Mo Mo Bot.

Mo Mo bought the umbrella.

She found a stall that sold beads and buttons,

chalk and pencils, paints and crayons.

"I'd like to buy something that's sunny and bright.

"Those yellow feathers look just right," said Mo Mo Bot.

Mo Mo bought the feathers.

She came to a stall that sold toys and books,

little cars and chunky trucks,

baby dolls and rubber ducks.

"I'd like to buy something sunny and bright.

"That yellow digger is just right,"

said Mo Mo Bot.

Mo Mo bought the digger.

By now, Mo Mo Bot was loaded up

with lots of different yellow stuff!

It was quite tricky balancing and Mo Mo started dropping things!

Oh!

Until...all she was holding in her arms

was the bunch of bananas!

"Oh, dear," Mo Mo Bot thought.

"I'll have to start again."

But just then she saw her friends.

Teddington with a yellow umbrella looked such a smart fella!

Toddler Tom was having fun with a yellow digger - brum, brum, brum!

Miss Mouse looked extremely smart

in a yellow bandana instead of her scarf.

Not to mention dearest Stuffy,

who wore yellow feathers and looked very fluffy.

"We picked up all your yellow shopping,

"when we saw your shopping dropping! Ha ha!"

giggled Teddington.

"Well, this sounds silly, but it's true.

"You've found the things I bought for you!"

said Mo Mo Bot,

and they all laughed.

Oh, thank you, Mo Mo!

I liked that.

There are so many yellow things around us, aren't there?

Not just bananas.

First let's tear down the middle...

Using a little bit of sticky tape...

stick the bits together.

Now to decorate...
