A blow-up bed for sleeping on.

Pots and pans for cooking.

Now, we need to put the tent somewhere.

-Could you bring these chairs, please Pui?

Where can we pitch our tent?

-It's a bit draughty out here. Inside, I think.

Oh, no, it's too near the slide. It would be very noise.

-It's too near the choo-choos, it will keep me awake,

but we'll take these cushions. Thank you, Pui, doing a good job.

-Over here by the tree?

-Ooh, too shady near the tree.

We can't stay here, but we'll take these. These are marvellous.

We'll make a den and camp inside.

We've even got sleeping bags to sleep in.

We'll be very comfy and cosy when we're camping in our den.

Chris is tired out from all the tent building and packing.

I camped in my grandad's garden.

I went camping and we had a bonfire.

We didn't have a camp fire.

Because we couldn't find any wood.

I carried toys.

I've been camping in a forest.

There's a zip up the side that zips it up.

Oh look, all the toys have got their very own tent.

Except for Teddington.

I need to make Teddington a tent.

I'm looking for a Tom's Tale, because there's something else

that's good fun to do around a campfire

and that's listen to a story.

Get cosy and comfy, sit down with your toy,

here comes a tale for us all to enjoy.

One day, Toddler Tom said to his good friend Teddington,

"Wouldn't it be a wonderful thing to go camping?"

And Teddington agreed, it would be a wonderful thing indeed.

So all the toys set off together.

"I hope that we have sunny weather," squeaked Miss Mouse.

They took their tent, and bits and bobs, like sleeping bags,

and cooking pots, and off they went to find a spot

where they could set their tent up.

"We need to find a place where there's plenty of space,"

said Toddler Tom.

"Not on a slope, because once I'm asleep,

"I might roll on Miss Mouse and make her squeak," said Teddington.

"Not on stones, they're far too lumpy.

"We won't go to sleep and we'll all be grumpy," squeaked Miss Mouse.

"And not near puddles, it's far too boggy.

"Our sleeping bags will get all soggy," said Momo.

Stuffy found the perfect place, so they took the tent out of its case.

But oh, it was tricky to fix that tent.

The poles were pingy and the pegs were bent.

"Oh fiddly fuddly foogly foo, what a terrible to-do," giggled Miss Mouse.

Eventually, the job was done.

"Congratulations, everyone," said Teddington.

They'd set up the tent now and it didn't look wrong.

"Let's go to sleep now," said Toddler Tom.

"We can't go to sleep yet, the stars aren't out.

"Let's go for a little walkabout," said Momo.

So they went on an adventure trail,

and looked for butterflies and snails.

They hopped across some stepping stones,

and stopped to pick up pine cones.

They even walked through golden sand.

"It's such hard work - please hold my hand,"

Miss Mouse asked Teddington.

And when they were tired and rather hot,

they picnicked in a shady spot.

Soon it started to get dark.

Out came the moon and the twinkling stars.

"I've made a fire," said Teddington.

"Let's toast marshmallows, yum, yum, yum."

"Oh, what fun when the day is done, to sing Ging Gang Goolie

"with everyone," squeaked Miss Mouse.

And when it was time to sleep at last,

they slept in the open under the stars.

But oh, it was cold, and fidgety-foo.

"I can't get to sleep," said Stuffy. "Can you?"

"It's hard to get comfy, the ground is so lumpy," said Momo.

"I've discovered something," Teddington said.

"Camping is fun, but I miss my bed."

"Let's go inside," said Miss Mouse.

"But I don't mean the tent. I mean in the house."

"It's been a really lovely day, but I'm glad my bed isn't far away,"

said Tom. "Goodnight."

Oh, silly Chris has fallen asleep in his sleeping bag again!

Brr brrr brrr. Mmm mmm mmm.

-Aaaah. Aaah. Aaah.

-Aaah.

Ooh, it's getting late, I'd better get into my sleeping bag.

Oh, I wish I hadn't slept earlier.

I don't think I can sleep now.

Oh, that's not a problem, Chris, let's play a game.

-Let's play guess the nighttime sound.

-Listen.

Too-wit, too-woo.

Do you know? I think it is a bird.

A wise bird with big eyes.

But twinkle stars, you go away, when the sun comes out to play.

Guess what fish this is from its shape?

It has one, two, three, four, five points.

And it's star-shaped.

Yes, it's a starfish.

And this starfish is brown.

And a little bit orange underneath.

It has a spongy body.

It lives in the sea.

And I don't think I've ever seen a fish like this before.
