Glastonbury. This is what we dreamed of. We're ecstatic to be here. Can't

wait to get on stage. Been playing loads of festivals for the last

year. This is your first ever Glastonbury is that right? It is and

we're under-prepared as well. been watching it on the BBC for

years, all the headline acts and various performers. To get a chance

to do it ourselves, it's emotional. One of our first dreams was to play

at Glastonbury main stage in the next five or six years. Did your

mates give you any survival tips because it's crazy here? It's nuts

because it's like, make sure you pack the correct footwear. If you

don't you're going to be in trouble. You're all right though. It's sunny

today. It is beautiful. We're truly blessed with the weather. We're

happy about that. The live show. We have a lot of great vocalists on the

album. Are there secrets -- secret guests on the bus? I don't know.

That would be giving await secrets. We've got our vocalists and a great

bunch of vocalists to choose from. There will be some from the album.

Played last night for Radio 1 in Shangri La is that correct? It was

crazy. Was a DJ set. There was a lot of energy on stage. What you see us

live it's a whole different experience. You played Hackney

Weekend for Radio 1 last year that. Was a home coming for you, I guess.

How does this compare? It's crazy. That was our second live show. Now

we have a bit more experience under our belt. We go in there a little

less nervous. It doesn't compare. It's Glastonbury, you know, we live

for this. This is what we work so hard for, 24 hours a day, seven days

a week in the studio for. Once all the work is over tonight, any plans?

We're going to enjoy ourselves. There's so much more to see. Rolling

Stones. We're DJing after as well. And looking forward to seeing Nars

who's on after us. I want to see the Rolling Stones as well. We will have

is the basis of it. How was your set? It was good, fun. It's a

beautiful day. Do you think there were more or less people than are

for Primal Scream? More, definitely more. More? That's absolutely

How did it feel? It was pretty wild. It's a good view. It's mad standing

up there and just being able to look out on that many people and, I've

been here when it's been like a headline show. I saw Neil Young here

and it was full of people. It's incredible. We went up there and it

wane wasn't as many people as that, but it was a lot of people.

It's been an incredible couple of years for you. This must be a real

triumphant moment for you. It's been a long journey to get the

Glastonbury pyramid stage. Can you enjoy this moment and do nothing for

a while? Yeah, it felt like a lot of the summer built up to this point.

We weren't going to do shows this summer or many festivals. We got

invited to a few and then, they invited us to play this. It was OK,

we're doing a summer of festivals and this is going to be the biggest

moment. Have you been celebrating since the performance? Yeah. Yeah.

It's been fun. What's this rumour about you buying Haim a load of

drinks last night? Not last night. I bought them a load of drinks a while

back. I always thought they'd be like full rock-and-rollers. They're

good on the drink. They're happy people on the drink but they, I

don't know, you'll see them in a bit. Give them grief about it. I

thought they were proper rock-and-roll. What else do you do

at Glastonbury? Are you a healing fields kind of guy? I was told I

have a TV interview. I thought let's keep it calm. I have two days here.

Party starts after this. It's wild. Have you been out? It's wild. Just

the scale of this place is unbelievable. Do you feel extra

pressure doing the Pyramid Stage. Do you feel there's so much history

here? Or are you OK with that sort of thing? It's not the history, it's

great energy on that stage. You go to so many festivals and sometimes

you turn up and it's, I'm not spiritual in the slightest, but it's

like you get on the stage and sometimes it feels good and

sometimes it doesn't. That mace feels amazing. It's electric.

saw a load of Cornwall flags in the crowd. Yes! And Devon flags. It's

buzzing. The atmosphere is amazing. It was nice to play in the daytime,

so there's not much pressure. So nice to play early on and play to

that many people and have that view. To actually be able to stood in that

position and look out to so many people is amazing. What we're going

to do, we have to break for the news for a little bit, which kills the

Glastonbury vibe. If you stay right there, when we come back from the

news, we are going to play a whole chunk of your set from earlier on
