Hello! We are kicking off the festival season for BBC Three this

:00:27.:00:31.

summer. Along with Radio 1 we are bringing you something bigger and

:00:31.:00:39.

better than ever. It is Radio 1's Hackney Weekend. We are live from

:00:39.:00:46.

East London. Now our line-up is impressive. We have UK-based and

:00:46.:00:50.

international artists performing all day. Tonight you are going to

:00:50.:00:57.

see the whole of the headlineer set from Jay-Z. There is a lot of build

:00:57.:01:02.

up, the main stage behind us where Nicki Minaj will be. Of course,

:01:02.:01:08.

Jay-Z will be there later on. also have The Vaccines and Kasabian

:01:08.:01:13.

hitting the stage soon there. Look at the site it is huge. If you move

:01:13.:01:19.

along you can see the 1 Extra tent where will.i.am is performing and

:01:19.:01:27.

next to that, the Dance Tent where Calvin Harris is raving. It is an

:01:27.:01:33.

impressive sight, but we can't lie, the coats are on. It is an amazing

:01:33.:01:38.

sight behind us. Also, in amongst it all, somewhere, Gemma should be

:01:38.:01:45.

there. Where are you? I am here in the heart of Hackney 2012, it is

:01:45.:01:49.

amazing. So far I have caught up with the band, spoken with the

:01:49.:01:55.

lovely Emeli, but my fingers are tightly crossed to meet the Barbie

:01:55.:02:00.

herself, Nicki Minaj. I can't wait for Jay-Z's set, I have heard of

:02:00.:02:07.

something that could blow your mind, perhaps guests, who knows? Lovely,

:02:07.:02:12.

Gemma. Gemma is back stage getting all the gossip. Finding out who is

:02:12.:02:17.

hanging around and talking to who. We will catch up with her. And we

:02:17.:02:23.

would love for you to get in touch with us on the BBC Three Twitter

:02:23.:02:28.

page on: If you have questions for Ed Sheeran he will be in later. Let

:02:28.:02:33.

us know what your questions o. we should explain why in Hackney?

:02:33.:02:38.

OK, well, we are in Hackney for the Hackney Weekend. It is in East

:02:38.:02:44.

London. I have put together a package why we love Hackney so much.

:02:44.:02:50.

Personally? No, not personally, but it is good. Where is Hackney?

:02:50.:02:59.

North-east London. The heart of London, basically. You get to

:02:59.:03:06.

Hackney by the 38 bus coming from Piccadilly, or the 254 from

:03:06.:03:12.

Stamford Hill. Straight to Stratford and change. Or get in a

:03:12.:03:16.

cab and tell them to take you to Hackney. They will take you.

:03:16.:03:22.

best way to get to Hackney is in a Hackney Carriage. A little bit of

:03:22.:03:28.

history, Shakespeare's first plays were played in Shoreditch. The GP

:03:28.:03:33.

Powder plot was plotted in Hoxton. Hackney comes from the Dutch word,

:03:33.:03:38.

horse, it drew the carriages, that is where the Hackney carriages come

:03:39.:03:43.

from. There are so many parks in Hackney. Many celebrities have come

:03:43.:03:53.
:03:53.:03:54.

out of the area. Danny Defoe... MarcBolan. And I grew up in Hackney.

:03:54.:03:59.

Throughout history it has been known for being a bit edgy. East

:03:59.:04:04.

London for me is very hard-working, very working-class. It is not the

:04:04.:04:10.

most glamorous part of the world to live in. Definitely not. It is a

:04:10.:04:16.

melting pot of all different people. Creed, colour. The key for me being

:04:16.:04:22.

about brought up in Hackney, I saw the world on my street. Cypriots,

:04:22.:04:28.

Greek, for instance, Chinese, just everything on my road. Hackney is

:04:28.:04:33.

at the epicentre of multiculturalism. One of the best

:04:33.:04:38.

things about Hackney is the pie and the marsh shop. You get any food

:04:38.:04:45.

you want and the best food. market was the first to introduce

:04:45.:04:51.

the west Indian food. There are so many foods here, Caribbean, Turkish,

:04:51.:04:59.

Indian. Hackney is up there with the food. There is definitely lingo.

:04:59.:05:04.

You do from East London first, then it travels elsewhere. What is

:05:04.:05:10.

happening? What is up? What is good? How are you doing? Leave it!

:05:10.:05:18.

Apples and pears, stairs. Bees and honey, money. It is very much on

:05:18.:05:25.

the edge of fashion and music. It has a natural vibe. There is a lot

:05:26.:05:32.

of artistic value in the area. A lot of what I talk about in Hackney

:05:32.:05:36.

are my experiences. Many people think that the heart of music is in

:05:36.:05:40.

East London. I'm sure people say the same about their area, but we

:05:40.:05:47.

knew. We had the swagger. To sum up Hackney in one word... Talent.

:05:48.:05:52.

Beautiful. Home. That is what I think of when I think of it. It is

:05:52.:05:59.

a wonderful, great place to be. Not being biased. Hackney forever,

:05:59.:06:05.

ain't it?! And that is why we love Hackney so much. There were some

:06:05.:06:09.

beautiful shots, I don't know if you saw them, helicopter shots of

:06:09.:06:16.

the whole site, look a that. That is insane. That is Tim West Wood on

:06:16.:06:21.

a helicopter. I thought so. And we are so close to the Olympic scythe.

:06:21.:06:25.

There is a whole air of excitement in Hackney. And one thing I did not

:06:25.:06:29.

count on, there is a lot of wildlife. Tell everyone what

:06:29.:06:33.

happened today? On the route today, I was excited to spot a heron in

:06:34.:06:38.

one of the local streams, which I was excited about. Everyone talks

:06:38.:06:45.

about the obvious things in Hackney, herons do not get a look in. I tell

:06:45.:06:49.

you what, let's watch something that is very, very exciting. A

:06:49.:06:54.

young lady who is Hackney born and bred, who has been working with the

:06:54.:06:58.

Hackney Academy and getting excited about the weekend. It is the

:06:58.:07:08.
:07:08.:07:41.

CHEERING

:10:27.:10:28.

CHEERING AND

:10:28.:10:28.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE.

:10:28.:10:31.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Lovely. Leona Lewis opening up the main

:10:31.:10:37.

stage. You can see in the shot behind the Hackney Marshes, is the

:10:37.:10:43.

Olympic site. We are a mere stone's throw away, Greg. You have joined

:10:43.:10:48.

us in the tree house, we are here with the lovely Labrinth. Hello,

:10:49.:10:55.

Labrinth! How are you doing guys? I'm sitting here like, this trying

:10:55.:11:02.

to pretend I'm not cold. I have a hot water bottle if you are cold.

:11:02.:11:08.

will sound like a woos. Now, you were delivered to us today by a

:11:08.:11:12.

helicopter from the Isle of Wight festival? I was. We had a crazy

:11:12.:11:17.

show. I did not expect that welcome from the Isles of white, but it was

:11:17.:11:22.

madness. Now, it is muddy there, but it is muddy here and you have

:11:22.:11:29.

worn white trainers! I'm sorry, why do I do this? I keep putting, when

:11:29.:11:35.

I make this mistake, I put up a picture and say, "Guys, I did it

:11:35.:11:44.

again." I'm sorry. Bad idea! I must apologise, we named you Leona Lewis.

:11:44.:11:52.

But you do look similar! obviously a Hackney boy? Yes, I am.

:11:52.:11:59.

It must be amazing to have this in your back garden? Well, I was

:11:59.:12:03.

coming in the helicopter, but Hackney has never been on the map

:12:03.:12:07.

like this. Since growing up, it has always been understated things

:12:07.:12:12.

happening in the area. The most we got was a cheap fun fair, not even

:12:12.:12:20.

with the rides. Did you visit the Marshes as a kid? I did I, but to

:12:20.:12:26.

see this is amazing. You said you are grown up now. You are an am

:12:26.:12:30.

bass -- for Hackney. What do you have to do for that? Well, of

:12:31.:12:37.

course, I have never been an embassador for anything, so to be

:12:37.:12:43.

an ambassador for Hackney it feels like wow, look how far I have come.

:12:43.:12:49.

As an artist, also as a person. To have this kind of an honour. So,

:12:49.:12:54.

yeah, I'm loving it, man. I'm happy. It is rewarding to give back to the

:12:54.:13:01.

area that you grew up, to the kids who live here now? Yes, ertime. Not

:13:01.:13:06.

too long ago we did a documentary with Plan B and Leona Lewis. We did

:13:06.:13:09.

a support programme with the young kids. They are performing here

:13:09.:13:14.

tomorrow as well. I can't wait for that. We will hear more about that.

:13:14.:13:23.

We will, and we will hear more about you, Labrinth. We have a

:13:23.:13:29.

question too, Chloe says: Would you let a fan collaborate with you?

:13:29.:13:34.

course! You would? I would love to. Without a doubt. What if they were

:13:34.:13:39.

bad? I would find a way of making it good. Labrinth, thank you very

:13:39.:13:44.

much. We look forward to you performing later for us. So, we

:13:44.:13:54.
:13:54.:14:00.

have live music from earlier on. # Will you recognise me

:14:00.:14:05.

# Will you recognise me when I'm lying on my back?

:14:05.:14:15.
:14:15.:14:31.

# Will you recognise me when I'm lying on my back?

:14:31.:14:41.
:14:41.:14:52.

# Will you recognise me when I'm lying on my back?

:14:52.:14:54.

# Something's gone inside me and I can't get it back

:14:54.:15:00.

# Oh heaven, oh heaven I wake with good intentions

:15:00.:15:07.

# But the day it always lasts too long

:15:07.:15:13.

# Then I'm gone

:15:13.:15:16.

# Oh heaven, oh heaven I wake with good intentions

:15:16.:15:21.

# But the day it always lasts too long

:15:21.:15:28.

# Then I'm gone, then I'm gone Then I'm gone, then I'm gone

:15:28.:15:36.

# Then I'm gone, then I'm gone Then I'm gone, then I'm gone

:15:36.:15:44.

# Will you recognise me when I'm stealing from the poor?

:15:44.:15:51.

# You're not gonna like me I'm nothing like before

:15:51.:15:59.

# Will you recognise me when I lose another friend?

:15:59.:16:06.

# Will you learn to leave me or give me one more try again?

:16:06.:16:13.

# Oh heaven, oh heaven I wake with good intentions

:16:13.:16:20.

# But the day it always lasts too long

:16:20.:16:27.

# Then I'm gone

:16:27.:16:29.

# Oh heaven, oh heaven I wake with good intentions

:16:29.:16:35.

# But the day it always lasts too long

:16:35.:16:42.

# Then I'm gone, then I'm gone Then I'm gone, then I'm gone

:16:42.:16:49.

# Then I'm gone, then I'm gone Then I'm gone, then I'm gone

:16:49.:16:58.

# Oh heaven, oh heaven I wake with good intentions

:16:58.:17:05.

# Oh heaven, oh heaven I wake with good intentions

:17:05.:17:15.
:17:15.:17:17.

# Oh heaven, oh heaven I wake with good intentions

:17:17.:17:20.

Hackney,

:17:20.:17:20.

# You say that you're away

:17:20.:17:21.

Hackney, help

:17:21.:17:21.

Hackney, help me

:17:21.:17:21.

Hackney, help me sing

:17:21.:17:28.

# I try but always break # Then I'm gone, then I'm gone

:17:28.:17:32.

# Then I'm gone, then I'm gone Then I'm gone

:17:32.:17:37.

# Then I'm gone, then I'm gone Then I'm gone, then I'm gone

:17:37.:17:43.

# Then I'm gone, then I'm gone Then I'm gone, then I'm gone. #

:17:43.:17:53.
:17:53.:17:55.

# Then I'm gone, then I'm gone Then I'm gone, then I'm gone. #

:17:55.:18:05.
:18:05.:18:13.

This

:18:13.:18:14.

This is

:18:14.:18:15.

This is one

:18:15.:18:20.

This is one of my favourite songs to sing. I wrote it when I thought

:18:20.:18:24.

when everything stops, you would be there for me. That is when I feel

:18:24.:18:34.
:18:34.:18:43.

the love. If you want to sing in # That's when you feel

:18:43.:18:53.
:18:53.:18:55.

# That's when you feel # That's when you feel

:18:55.:19:05.
:19:05.:19:09.

# I can't buy your love # Sometimes the truth won't make you

:19:09.:19:19.
:19:19.:19:22.

# But don't ever question # I know I'm far from perfect

:19:22.:19:32.
:19:32.:19:33.

# But don't ever question if my heart beats only for you

:19:33.:19:37.

# It beats only for you

:19:38.:19:41.

# Cos when you've given up

:19:42.:19:45.

# When no matter what you do it's never good enough

:19:45.:19:50.

# When you never thought that it could ever get this tough

:19:50.:19:56.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:19:56.:20:04.

# And when you're crying out

:20:04.:20:07.

# When you fall and then can't pick your happy off the ground

:20:07.:20:12.

# When the friends you thought you had haven't stuck around

:20:12.:20:18.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:20:18.:20:28.
:20:28.:20:28.

# You won't see me at the parties

:20:28.:20:31.

# I guess I'm just no fun

:20:31.:20:34.

# I won't be turning up the radio singing, baby, you're the one

:20:34.:20:39.

# But don't ever question if my heart beats only for you

:20:39.:20:44.

# It beats only for you

:20:44.:20:50.

# I know sometimes I get angry and I say what I don't mean

:20:50.:20:55.

# I know I keep my heart protected far away from my sleeve

:20:55.:21:01.

# But don't ever question if my heart beats only for you

:21:01.:21:06.

# It beats only for you

:21:06.:21:10.

# Cos when you've given up

:21:10.:21:13.

# When no matter what you do it's never good enough

:21:13.:21:19.

# When you never thought that it could ever get this tough

:21:19.:21:24.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:21:24.:21:32.

# And when you're crying out

:21:32.:21:35.

# When you fall and then can't pick your happy off the ground

:21:35.:21:41.

# When the friends you thought you had haven't stuck around

:21:41.:21:46.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:21:46.:21:56.
:21:56.:21:57.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:21:57.:22:01.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:22:01.:22:11.
:22:11.:22:42.

That's when you feel # Cos when you've given up

:22:42.:22:52.

# That's when you feel my kind of love. #

:22:52.:23:02.
:23:02.:23:13.

# When you fall and then can't pick your happy off the ground

:23:13.:23:15.

# When the friends you thought you had haven't stuck around

:23:15.:23:18.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:23:18.:23:27.

# And when you're crying out

:23:27.:23:34.

# When you never thought that it could ever get this tough

:23:34.:23:37.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:23:37.:23:47.
:23:47.:23:47.

# And when you're crying out

:23:47.:23:50.

# When you fall and then can't pick your happy off the ground

:23:50.:23:54.

# When the friends you thought you had haven't stuck around

:23:54.:23:59.

# That's when you feel my kind of love

:23:59.:24:09.
:24:09.:24:20.

Alright.

:24:20.:24:25.

Alright. Now

:24:25.:24:25.

Alright. Now I

:24:25.:24:31.

:28:37.:28:43.

Emeli Sande, how are you doing? have managed to watch some stuff. I

:28:43.:28:48.

am ready! What about the hair? What about the rain? I will have to wing

:28:49.:28:55.

it. I heard that you were running with the Olympic torch? Yes, up in

:28:55.:29:02.

Fort, across the bridge. Was it heavy? It was a little heavy. I had

:29:02.:29:07.

to keep it far from the hairspray. It was fun. I feel like this summer

:29:07.:29:11.

here in the UK is filled with joy and fun it must be better for you,

:29:11.:29:16.

as it is the summer that the album that everybody loves can sing along

:29:16.:29:22.

to and you can perform it. Was there a sea of heads? Arms in the

:29:22.:29:28.

air? Your album makes my cry!. It is really amazing bs, after working

:29:28.:29:33.

up slowly. To where people are singing back to you. It is amazing.

:29:33.:29:39.

When I went back home to Aberdeen, the hands are up in "Next To Me".

:29:39.:29:44.

It must be weird as well, as there are so many artists that you have

:29:44.:29:50.

written for, do you watch them, and think, that was me? I have bumped

:29:50.:29:57.

into a few, I have seen Chip munk, Tinchy Stryder. And you have

:29:57.:30:05.

written for them all and, oh, quick, can you do a Bob Marley melody?

:30:05.:30:14.

have dropped wufpb into the set. You are amazing. Two gorgeous

:30:14.:30:19.

ladies. I love Emeli Sande. Now, 23 you want to see the Bob Marley set,

:30:19.:30:23.

you can head to the website and watch it all there. In our tree

:30:23.:30:27.

house we are lots of people dropping in. The first is a

:30:27.:30:33.

pleasure. Welcome one of my favourite, best new artists around,

:30:33.:30:43.
:30:43.:31:00.

# I don't make the papers and fall from dos

:31:43.:31:48.

# Ain't got the x factor I'm not what they expect

:31:48.:31:51.

# But it won't be long before my turn is next, to express

:31:51.:31:59.

# Now without you expect

:31:59.:32:01.

# See whatever I do, I do it good

# Express yourself, whoa do it

:32:36.:32:45.
:32:46.:32:55.

# It's nothing wrong with perfect and perfect

:32:56.:32:59.

# Now it's your time to shine

:32:59.:33:01.

# Express yourself Click your fingers now

yourself! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE.

:33:54.:33:54.

yourself! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Labrinth,

:33:54.:33:55.

Labrinth, we

:33:55.:33:56.

Labrinth, we love

:33:56.:33:56.

Labrinth, we love you.

:33:56.:33:59.

Labrinth, we love you. Brilliant. Thank you so much for coming in for

:33:59.:34:05.

us. Wicked. It is so nice to hear the song stripped back like that.

:34:05.:34:12.

Lovely. So good. You can stay, stay for a bit. Just stay with us!

:34:12.:34:17.

have nowhere to be? Now, in the lead-up to the Hackney Weekend, we

:34:17.:34:21.

opened up the Hackney Academy, that gave an amazing opportunity for the

:34:21.:34:25.

young people in the area to meet some of their heroes and ask them

:34:25.:34:31.

anything that they wanted. So many people were involved, Plan B, Flo

:34:31.:34:38.

Rida, they were asked all sorts of questions, so, let's see what the

:34:38.:34:47.

Hackney Academy is all about. Radio 1 and 1 Extra Hackney Academy

:34:47.:34:51.

is a chance for young people to get involved. To meet the experts who

:34:52.:34:55.

are interested in what they are doing, so that they can learn for

:34:55.:34:59.

themselves, to learn from the real people. Various people have passed

:34:59.:35:05.

through the doors of theEd a academy. We have had Tinchy Stryder,

:35:05.:35:11.

Superintendent Ali Dizaei and Usher, to maim but a few. The purpose of

:35:11.:35:14.

this incredible exercise is to prepare you for the future, to be

:35:14.:35:18.

what you want to be. This is the opportunity. They are providing you

:35:18.:35:24.

with an eye to see forward. It is good, you can see the passion. They

:35:24.:35:29.

were asking questions, clever questions that you need answers to.

:35:29.:35:33.

I wanted advice on PR companies, how you dealt with it in the early

:35:33.:35:38.

stages of your career. At that point get a manager. He is supposed

:35:38.:35:44.

to know your worth and why. What else can you do to stand out?

:35:44.:35:49.

have to find out what you do better than anybody else. Hard work pays

:35:49.:35:54.

off. Nothing is impossible. Think big. It is an amazing place. We had

:35:54.:36:02.

the pleasure of going there a few times, holding Q and As. It is very

:36:02.:36:06.

inspirational. It was. It is difficult to do worthy things

:36:06.:36:11.

without being patronising, but it was an amazing thing for the young

:36:11.:36:17.

people to come in and do something different. On the main stage behind

:36:17.:36:22.

us, Nicki Minaj has just finished her set. She was amazing. Big

:36:22.:36:28.

blonde hair and amazing, you can see a lot of that here on BBC Three.

:36:28.:36:37.

There was one act that got a lot of attention. This is songs songs

:36:37.:36:47.
:36:47.:36:52.

songs from earlier today -- Trey Put your hearts up in the sky. I'm

:36:52.:36:58.

giving you my heart. I am promising you, I will never break your heart.

:36:58.:37:04.

I can't hear you? Cos, if you ever break my heart, baby, you and I...

:37:04.:37:14.
:37:14.:37:25.

We can't be friends. # She don't cut me up from a good, good love #

:37:25.:37:35.
:37:35.:37:36.

She don't mean that # Those ladies weren't wrong # Now I'm sitting

:37:36.:37:46.

here going half crazy # No # Cos I know she still thinks about me too

:37:46.:37:54.

# And there ain't no way it hurts # That I can be just friends with you

:37:54.:38:03.

# Sing the song with me, come on # I wish we had a thing # And I wish

:38:03.:38:12.

we never loved it # And I wish I never felt so deep in love # Ain't

:38:12.:38:22.
:38:22.:38:25.

no way # Ain't no way we can be friends # Now # There ain't no

:38:25.:38:35.
:38:35.:38:40.

faking it # When we are done # I can't take it back # Now I'm

:38:40.:38:48.

sitting here going half crazy # Oh,! # Cos I know she still thinks

:38:48.:38:57.

about me too # Ant it ain't no way in hell # That I can be just

:38:57.:39:04.

friends with you # Sing the song if you know it, come on! # And I wish

:39:04.:39:13.

we never did it # Sing it to me # And I wish we never loved it # And

:39:13.:39:21.

I wish I never fell so deep in love with you # Now there ain't no way

:39:21.:39:30.

we can be friends # And all I can say is # I can't hear you all! Sing

:39:30.:39:40.
:39:40.:39:47.

it louder, come on. # Ain't no time that could have been better # Ain't

:39:47.:39:57.
:39:57.:39:58.

no time when we could have been # And if I knew

:39:58.:40:04.

# If I fell in love with you # We never would have kicked it

:40:04.:40:11.

# Girl, everything # I lost my heart in love with her

:40:11.:40:21.

# My friend # And I wished I never loved her

:40:21.:40:26.

# And I wished I never fell so deep in love with you

:40:26.:40:35.

# And now it ain't the way we can be friends

:40:35.:40:45.
:40:45.:41:13.

# Sing it with me # Ain't no time without my girl. #

:41:13.:41:17.

Wow! They love him! They love him. There were tears.

:41:17.:41:23.

The girl in the front? She was into it, in the moment. Absolutely

:41:23.:41:28.

loving Trey's song. Now, we have to see how his set

:41:28.:41:38.
:41:38.:41:44.

went on in the main stage it is the Right, gospel choir in session, say

:41:44.:41:49.

hallelujah! Right! We're starting from the bottom and working to the

:41:49.:41:59.
:41:59.:42:03.

# I wanna be drunk when I wake up # And never an excuse I made up

:42:03.:42:06.

# What didn't kill me It never made me stronger at all

:42:06.:42:13.

# Love will scar your make-up Lip sticks to me, so now I maybe

:42:14.:42:17.

# Lean back there I'm sat here wishing I was sober

:42:17.:42:23.

# I know I'll never hold you like I used to

:42:23.:42:29.

# But a house gets cold when you cut the heating

:42:29.:42:32.

# Without you to hold I'll be freezing

:42:32.:42:34.

# Can't rely on my heart to beat in

:42:34.:42:36.

# Cos you take parts of it every evening

:42:36.:42:38.

# Take words out of my mouth Just from breathing

:42:38.:42:40.

# Replace with phrases like "When you leaving me?"

:42:40.:42:43.

# Should I? Should I?

:42:43.:42:45.

# Maybe I'll get drunk again

:42:45.:42:50.

# I'll be drunk again

:42:50.:42:54.

# I'll be drunk again

:42:54.:42:58.

# To feel a little love

:42:58.:43:03.

# I wanna hold your heart in both hands

:43:04.:43:06.

# Not watch it fizzle at the bottom of a Coke can

:43:06.:43:08.

# And I got no plans for the weekend

:43:08.:43:10.

# So should we speak then? Keep it between friends?

:43:10.:43:12.

# Though I know you'll never love me like you used to

:43:12.:43:20.

# There may be other people like us

:43:20.:43:22.

# Who see the flicker of a clipper when they light up

:43:22.:43:24.

# Flames just create us but burns don't heal like before

:43:24.:43:30.

# And you don't hold me any more

:43:30.:43:36.

# On cold days Cold plays out like the band's name

:43:36.:43:38.

# I know I can't heal things with a handshake

:43:38.:43:40.

# You know I can change as I began saying

:43:40.:43:43.

# You cut me wide open like landscape

:43:43.:43:45.

# Open bottles of beer but never champagne

:43:45.:43:47.

# To applaud you with The sound that my hands make

:43:47.:43:49.

# Should I? Should I?

:43:49.:43:52.

# Maybe I'll get drunk again

:43:52.:43:56.

# I'll be drunk again

:43:56.:44:00.

# I'll be drunk again

:44:00.:44:04.

# To feel a little love

:44:04.:44:09.

# All by myself, I'm here again

:44:09.:44:14.

# All by myself You know I'll never change

:44:14.:44:18.

# All by myself

:44:18.:44:22.

# All by myself I'm just drunk again

:44:22.:44:26.

# I'll be drunk again

:44:26.:44:29.

# I'll be drunk again

:44:30.:44:36.

# I'll be drunk again

:44:36.:44:38.

# To feel a little love. #

:44:38.:44:44.

# I'll be drunk again

:44:44.:44:48.

# I'll be drunk again

:44:48.:44:53.

# I'll be drunk again

:44:53.:44:55.

# To feel a little love. #

:54:01.:54:06.

Sheeran, who is in our tree house. Hello, Ed, how is your day going in

:54:06.:54:11.

Hackney so far? It is cool. Having a lot of fun. It is cool.

:54:11.:54:16.

I saw you earlier with the Rizzle Kicks, I know you love them.

:54:16.:54:19.

They were great. Example was very good.

:54:19.:54:25.

He was on before you? Yeah, he made everyone bounce. That was a scary

:54:25.:54:31.

thing as I have no songs to force the floor orpbl small bumps.

:54:31.:54:36.

But the thing is that main stage is a huge stage and really tall. Did

:54:36.:54:41.

you get a sense of how many people are there? You must get to the

:54:41.:54:45.

point where you can't see the people in the back? It is a

:54:45.:54:49.

daunting thing to do, but it is an experience, but being one man with

:54:49.:54:53.

a guitar, I have not done many shows like this. So I'm still

:54:53.:54:57.

getting used to it. Do you prefer the intimate shows to

:54:57.:55:02.

the big festivals? I wouldn't be able to tell you. I love the

:55:02.:55:06.

intimate shows, but this is the first open-air main festival I have

:55:06.:55:11.

done. This is properly huge. Ask me next year.

:55:11.:55:16.

You got the guitars back? They were lost? They got lost, but I found

:55:16.:55:20.

them. Where? I lost them on the Detroit

:55:20.:55:25.

to Paris. I found them in Paris. Did you kick off? There is not much

:55:25.:55:30.

you can do. Getting angry, that is not going to help. I am a level guy.

:55:30.:55:35.

When it is lost it is well, that is bad. Then I was tweeting about it

:55:35.:55:40.

and they turned up. So it was OK. Being in Hackney, we have artists

:55:40.:55:45.

from the area performing. Leona Lewis, Labrinth and Plan B. What do

:55:45.:55:50.

you think it is with the area that has spawned so much talent? I think

:55:50.:55:53.

there is talent in lots of different areas. I could not tell

:55:53.:55:59.

you. There are so many areas around England that have so much talent.

:55:59.:56:03.

Today is high lighting Hackney talent, so that is good.

:56:03.:56:07.

Also, the Queen loves you? Officially, but I don't think she

:56:07.:56:11.

watched the set. Apparently she loved it.

:56:11.:56:14.

I have been told by the Queen herself.

:56:14.:56:21.

Tell Liz, thank you! Well, Ed, it has been lovely talking to you.

:56:21.:56:27.

Thank you for stopping by, your set was wonderful earlier.

:56:27.:56:32.

We have so much to come on the show today. We have will.i.am popping up

:56:32.:56:38.

for a chat. And Kasabian are starting soon.

:56:38.:56:40.
