# Let's end your time to lay low, # Your knees a-bending, so

# Hey, mama, how's it going? # Can't see your body moving

# Your booty shaking, you know # Your head has no right to say no

:09:06.:09:16.

# Tonight it's "ready, set, go" # Baby can you move it round the

:09:17.:09:19.

rhythm, # So we can get with 'em,

:09:20.:09:21.

# Just a... and get us a rock and roll round

:09:22.:09:24.

# Just a downtown body body coming with a super-hottie

:09:25.:09:26.

# Let's go, yes, no, hell no # Baby can you move it round the

:09:27.:09:30.

rhythm, # Cause you know we're living in the

# Baby can you move it round the rhythm,

:10:26.:10:28.

# So we can get with 'em, # Just a... and get us a rock and

fast lane, speed up # It ain't no game, just turn up all

:11:29.:11:35.

APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:11:36.:11:40.

The wonderful sound of Caravan Palace. Lone Digger from their

:11:41.:11:50.

album, Caravan Palace! Now a man with his only pint of Guinness, it's

:11:51.:11:54.

Guy Garvey. It's great to have you here. Do you like that? It was

:11:55.:11:58.

great. Love it. Fantastic. It makes me want to go to Paris. Shall we run

:11:59.:12:03.

away to Paris? And learn to dance. Brilliant. We can dance like that in

:12:04.:12:08.

nightclubs in par. I love the idea of that. Congratulations on your

:12:09.:12:13.

solo record. A beautiful product and beautiful voice and everything.

:12:14.:12:16.

Thank you. It's not Elbow, who is it? It's me and a bunch of old pals.

:12:17.:12:23.

I have Peter, Nathan from The Whip. Alex Reeves on the drums. On the

:12:24.:12:29.

album Ben Christopher played keyboards and the brass section, the

:12:30.:12:33.

girls that Elbow worked with for a long time, Sarah and Victoria, who

:12:34.:12:36.

are amazing. I surrounded myself with the best people around. A super

:12:37.:12:41.

group of players. What's different about this, what can you achieve

:12:42.:12:44.

with this that you couldn't with Elbow? It's not so much that. It's

:12:45.:12:48.

stretching myself a little bit. Because there's five writers in

:12:49.:12:54.

Elbow, things take five times longer so the album was made quicker and

:12:55.:12:57.

really it was an exercise, I wasn't actually going to take it live or

:12:58.:13:01.

anything but it was Pete from Elbow that said I should do or I might

:13:02.:13:05.

regret it. It's been great fun. It's interesting, when you work in a

:13:06.:13:08.

different people, something different comes out. Do you think

:13:09.:13:12.

that is what you have learned? Plus when you are in a band it's, as you

:13:13.:13:17.

know, it's where your tastes meet, that's what you end up producing and

:13:18.:13:25.

certain areas of my taste that Elbow - well they wouldn't let me get away

:13:26.:13:29.

with that keyboard solo, I couldn't play it anyway! It's groovy. Ben

:13:30.:13:33.

can't come on tour with us because he is such an in demand man. I miss

:13:34.:13:38.

you, Ben. You are in demand, as well. Also you have a show on the ie

:13:39.:13:42.

player, I believe. Tell us what that features. Like this good programme,

:13:43.:13:47.

it's about promoting music that I think is worthy of a bigger

:13:48.:13:52.

audience. So, with my good friend Rachel Davis who produced and made

:13:53.:13:56.

the programme we made six episodes about artists I think that the

:13:57.:14:00.

British public would like. So, a good 25 minutes per artist. On each

:14:01.:14:05.

person. Give us an example of one person that you have focussed on.

:14:06.:14:13.

Here We Go Magic, an amazing band from upstate New York. Elbow toured

:14:14.:14:19.

with them. The album before last was made with Nigel from Radiohead fame.

:14:20.:14:25.

It's shining a light on things that might have escaped people's

:14:26.:14:29.

attention that is great to listen to. Exactly. In the room tonight who

:14:30.:14:32.

are you enjoying, anybody in particular? I think it's amazing.

:14:33.:14:39.

Judy, what an honour to meet Judy. Absolutely loving what Dave is

:14:40.:14:43.

doing, as well. That's an incredible sound over there chaps. A room full

:14:44.:14:48.

of amazing stuff. Judy Collins, one of the first records I ever bought.

:14:49.:14:51.

When she came to my dressing room I couldn't believe it. You know what I

:14:52.:14:54.

mean? If you came to my dressing room I would believe it and I would

:14:55.:14:58.

love to see you but it's not like a dream. Well it is... I will stop

:14:59.:15:02.

now. It's great. Thank you very much Guy Garvey!

:15:03.:15:05.

APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:15:06.:15:12.

Are you doing another number? Great. Now we are welcoming Bela Fleck and

:15:13.:15:18.

Abigail Washburn. # If I had a shot gun and you were

:15:19.:15:43.

in the words # I'd hunt you down

:15:44.:16:06.

# And tell you you're no good # If I had a shotgun

:16:07.:16:14.

# You'd go down on your knees # You'd start begging please

:16:15.:16:33.

# Don't you run now # If you run now

:16:34.:16:51.

# You know what I will do # I would let you go but you are

:16:52.:16:58.

just too mean # Wish I was a big girl

:16:59.:17:11.

# Could let my heart be free # But if I was a big girl

:17:12.:17:41.

# I'd have you hung in a tree # So get me a shotgun

:17:42.:17:46.

# And don't you run now # Because if you run now

:17:47.:17:48.

# You know what I have to do # So get me a shotgun

:17:49.:18:26.

# And don't you run now # Because if you run now

:18:27.:18:32.

# You know what I have to do # The extraordinary sound of Bela

:18:33.:18:50.

Fleck and Abigail Washburn. Now, the talented young fella whose new album

:18:51.:18:54.

comes out on Friday called Making Time, Jamie Woon.

:18:55.:19:12.

# Never been so existent # You can't know unless you feel

:19:13.:19:23.

# Come back - bodies aching from the want and the waiting

:19:24.:19:40.

# Never felt this before # Is it written on my back, take it

:19:41.:19:51.

back and then let it go # Every day is the day that you

:19:52.:20:04.

saved me # Light into darkness cut on the

:20:05.:20:08.

sharpness of you # Never been so inside and falling

:20:09.:20:17.

into you # You can't fall unless you feel

:20:18.:20:29.

it,? # Come back - bodies aching from the

:20:30.:20:35.

want and the waiting # I get this pain when you're

:20:36.:20:54.

leaving # Never felt this before

:20:55.:20:56.

# Never felt this before # Is it written on my back, take it

:20:57.:20:59.

back and then let it go (let it go) # Is it written on my back, take it

:21:00.:21:07.

back and then let it go # Every day is the day that you

:21:08.:21:17.

saved me # Light into darkness cut on the

:21:18.:21:20.

sharpness of you # Come back - bodies aching from the

:21:21.:21:47.

want and the waiting # Never felt this before

:21:48.:21:58.

# Never felt this before # Is it written on my back, take it

:21:59.:22:04.

back and then let it go (let it go) # Is it written on my back, take it

:22:05.:22:12.

back and then let it go Jamie Woon. When he was playing

:22:13.:22:44.

everyone in the room was going like this. Now it is time for an

:22:45.:22:52.

incredible legend, one of the greatest singers of all time, the

:22:53.:22:54.

fabulous Judy Collins. # There are places I remember all my

:22:55.:23:10.

life # Though some have changed

:23:11.:23:20.

# Some forever, not for better # All these places have their

:23:21.:23:29.

meanings # With lovers and friends I still

:23:30.:23:41.

can recall # But of all these friends and

:23:42.:23:44.

lovers # And these memories lose their

:23:45.:24:12.

meaning # When I think of love as something

:24:13.:24:29.

new # Though I know I'll never lose

:24:30.:24:31.

affection # For people and things that went

:24:32.:24:35.

before # I know I'll often stop and think

:24:36.:24:41.

about them That was wonderful. The amazing Judy

:24:42.:25:32.

Collins. In My Life. We have only got 40 seconds for a wrap. Now that

:25:33.:25:39.

I have done this we only have 20 seconds. I would like to thank Jamie

:25:40.:25:53.

Woon! Caravan Palace. Dave Gahan and Soulsavers. And now we will say

:25:54.:25:58.

farewell with the wonderful Guy Garvey.

:25:59.:26:37.

# And buckled every joint # It parted me from truth and any

:26:38.:26:51.

youth I knew # That house I built I realised...

:26:52.:27:27.

:28:35.:28:37.

barnacles beneath a leather hat I'm never going to dance again. I

:28:38.:28:57.

have guilty feet. # I cannot speak its name but I
