-On stage, we portrayed our cultural

-activities, dancing and singing.

-What kind of competition was it?

-Very interesting.

-There wasn't a poor choir.

-The quality varied

-with six standing out for me.

-The differences in culture

-between countries...

-..made this quite hard to judge.

-Yes, native culture varies

-across the world.

-I enjoyed the wonderful sound of

-the choir from the Czech Republic.

-They were singing about a girl

-getting married.

-They had a full, rich, smooth sound.

-I enjoyed their interpretation

-a lot.

-Coro San Benildo from the

-Philippines had a different sound.

-They produced a playful sound when

-they sang a song about fishermen.

-It struck me

-that they enjoyed singing.

-I enjoyed watching them

-because of that.

-Another American choir,

-Sunday Night Singers...

-..sang about a girl leaving home.

-Their sound was a bit more folky

-than the Bob Cole singers.

-But their voices

-were still very rich.

-I really enjoyed this.

-# Oh they tell me

-of an unclouded day #

-Head on the block,

-It's between two choirs for me.

-I enjoyed the beautiful sound

-of the Bob Cole choir from America.

-The choir from the Philippines

-put a smile on my face.

-For me, personally, it was the choir

-performed an umbrella dance...

-..to convey peace and solitude.

-The competition was closed by

-a second team from Nidus, Cwmbran.

-Say Cheese was the title and the

-dancers were a picture on stage.

-..Nidus 2 from Cwmbran, Wales.

-The second group from Nidus

-claimed the first prize.

-This group of youngsters from

-Cwmbran were clearly ecstatic.

-We thought we might come second.

-We never expected to win.

-We've worked hard for this for

-many years and we're delighted now.
