-with his first band, Gogz.

-Here he is looking incredibly fresh.

-After gigging constantly as Gogz

-and releasing two EPs...

-..the band changed their name

-to The Heights.

-Owain took over the singing.

-The band were signed

-by Best Before records...

-..and released an album,

-Toys and Kings.

-This opened all kinds of doors

-including a chance to tour Japan.

-When we got there,

-we didn't know what to expect.

-We were like a mainstream band

-while we were there.

-We were treated like kings.

-Mr Huw recently became a father

-which means there's hope for us all.

-Here he is with his new single.

-is called Saim Gwahanol.

-It's a short, catchy song,

-hopefully, for everyone else.

-I've finished it a while back.

-I'm looking forward

-to getting the new stuff out.

-It was all done on an iPhone 6.

-It's evolved so much

-from the first idea I had.

-I wanted to do it in a white room,

-half naked with a lot of paint.

-It's in lots of locations,

-as many as we could fit in, really.

-We filmed in a supermarket,

-tried not to scare a cow.

-When we came to doing it...

-..we wanted to make it look like

-I was staying in the same place.

-We just wanted the background

-I've been learning how to be a dad.

-There isn't much to say, really.

-I wrote some songs and people

-started playing them on the radio.

-I wasn't expecting that.

-I just put them on SoundCloud.

-The response was more than adequate.
