Welcome back to the Saturday night of T in the Park in 2014. The rain

is coming down. They brought us outside. We appreciate it. What was

your favourite part of today? I love this festival. I think it's

brilliant. Today, my absolute highlight was Twin Atlantic. I know

how much it means to be back at the festival. They came to us as boys.

They had a brilliant set today on the Main Stage. That will be online

Ezra. So great. I saw Sam suck on what looked like a mic stand. No.

No. When you go walking in the hills. He had one of those attached

to a mic stand so he didn't have to use his hands for bottles. We are

Hello. Hello Jen. Is how are you? Good. Thanks for having How are me.

You feeling today? Feeling good. Feeling nervous. I'm feeling, you

know, excited. All of the different emotions. You have played T quite a

few times. It's been four years since you were last here? Yeah. It's

been four years since I did much really... Yeah. Yeah, it's good. I

didn't know whether we would be able to get the opportunity. The album

has been out for a matter of months. I didn't know whether it would be on

the cards this time around. This is like the defining Scottish festival.

Over the last four years have you missed, watching it on TV or coming

along and going - can't wish to play T? I have an army of friends. We are

saying we will camp out. Going to have a laugh tonight. It feels like

there is a certain Scottish camaraderie around here. You covered

churches at Glastonbury, what is it about them you love? A lot to love.

The music. You find a lot of bands that can deliver them. The lyrics.

The stories. For them to drag you in as much as the hooks and the beats.

That excited me the most about it. I love her voice as well. I think it's

wicked. The I don't see what there is not to I agree like. . Brilliant

pop music with intelligent lyrics at the same time, the whole package? I

don't know what you call it. It's great. Dine mike. -- dynomite. If

you look at the bands that are on. Biffy Clyro. Their pyros and light

and everything is fabulous. Calvin, likewise, I think if it suits it,

and it's done, not just for impact, because it makes sense. It

compliments the music well, great. We have elements. We are not going

out there with nothing. We have got - I have some things. Some ideas

that we're going to get across, but it's not... You know, I wouldn't say

it's going to be the catalyst of the show. OK. The music is the catalyst

of the show? Of course. All about the songs? Of course. That is the

thing. I think we are best sometimes when we just realise that and go

with it. I actually kind of agree with you. Sometimes no point in

smoke and mirrors if the music you have is that - A little bit of

smoke. Little bit of smoke and Tinie bit of mirrors. Don't think there

are mirrors. We can get some mirrors. We can get a mirror. Thank

moment. He was considering getting his cut. As a style icon he is not a

the Bombay Bicycle Club set. They went on to the Radio 1 BBC Three

stage. Their fourth album going to number one. A huge achievement for

boy. It's good to have him back. T in the Park has been good to Paolo

Nutini, or is it the other way round? 2007 he found himself on the

Main Stage after his debut on the T Break Stage the year before. Quite a

leap. He had released the album These Streets, that same year. These

Streets peaked at number three in the album charts. Since then it has

been certificatified five times platinum, how many is that then?

Quite a lot. He last dropped T in his new shoes in 2010. The he crowd

couldn't get enough. His second album went straight to number one in

2009. Sun sigh Side Up went platinum sect six times. He released his next

album that went to number one. He sold 4.8 million records. His

Scottish legend status is secured. Get ready to scream again, girls.

man, his sixth appearance at T In The Park. Hope you enjoyed Paolo

Nutini from the main stage. It's fair to say, he enjoyed. It He

looked like he was having a fantastic time. Inspiring signs in

the crowd. And when he said, "I will see you guys out there," he wasn't

lying. He's camping all weekend. I love that he will be there for

Calvin in a bit. What's everybody else thinking? Let me read these

out, when they load. Because I just pressed the wrong button with my big

thumb. Paolo is easy on the eye, all of a quiver. Michael says, "When I

grow up, I want to to be Paolo." That's going to be incredible for

that band, Chvrches to get him to do a cover of a cover. When you're a

band of a certain level, it's great when bigger bands pick up those

artists and support them. It is a Scottish camaraderie thing that we

find a lot at T In The Park. I hope you enjoyed it. There's plenty more
