Last night The Voice went live. As Team Tom and team tale Will sang

for your votes. Their teams of five are about to become four. Tonight

one artist from each team must leave the competition. And that

decision rests with their coaches. Hello and welcome to The Voice and

our first results show, the lines have closed. Please don't call as

your vote won't count and you maybe charged. Tom and Will's teams sang

for your votes and those votes will save three artists from each team.

That leaves both Will and Tom with two artists in danger. They must

decide which of their artists to save and who to send home. Next

Saturday the pressure shifts to Jessie and Danny as their teams

will perform for your votes. now, let's just enjoy their talent

Hearing them going solo next week is going to be good. Right, down to

business. Tom, tonight you are going to lose one of your artists.

How are you going to make that decision when the time comes?

have no idea. It's not going to be easy, is it? It's going to be very,

very difficult. I thought they were all strong last night, they all

stepped up to the plate. It was all great. It's going to be very, very

difficult. I don't envy you at all. Will, your team did sow proud last

night, didn't they? Sure did. They really did. It's not going to be

easy either, right? I can see you are deep in thought right now. I

will leave you with your thoughts. Danny, you are going to be in the

position next week, this will be you having to make this choice.

Yeah, I am glad it's not me this week. As amazing as the show was, I

mean, you see this, this is absolutely blank because I have

nothing to worry about. Me and Jessie next week, ohaway, come on!

not to be in the firing line tonight. You know what, I actually

think we need to flip this on its head and realise how amazing it is

for every person that got the opportunity to sing and dare I say

it, I think that the standard is so high that even if tkpwu home it's

not the end, it's the beginning of a massive opportunity. Going home

doesn't mean it's negative. There is no bigger stage than this one

right here. No. Thank you coaches. Tom and Will must each lose an

artist and with strong performances in the first live show that's going

to be tough. Here is how the night shaped up.

If you are not nervous before tkpwu on stage something's not right. You

need to turn that into a great performance and everybody did. Here

we go, the first show! First live show was amazing.

Absolute electricity running through this place. All of Great

Britain is going to be shook up. Joelle opened the show with a

smoking hot performance. You set the bar high, all the singers have

to come after that. Performances like this, we are

going to be paying a lot of money to see this girl. I was so

incredibly nervous before. Now I just feel like I am on cloud nine.

Sam did a great job. He ripped it. I think it went well. I enjoyed it

and that's usually a good sign. Honestly, that was a timeless

performance. I want to entertain people and if

people like it, then they'll like it. I have had fun.

Frances, I am so proud. It touched me to know that he were proud.

personally didn't turn around for you, now I wish I did. You got a

little bit comfortable with those guy dancers. I feel like they fancy

me, but I don't know. Adam rocked out. What he did

tonight is where he belongs. rocked out a little bit more it

would have been bananas, oranges, grapefruits and mangos. I actually

chipped a bone on my arm. If you are rocking with a chipped bone,

hats off, I don't have a hat but if I had Wye take it off. When you go

to the high notes relax your jaw. He is a chipped bone! His jaw isn't

chipped. Standout performance I would say

Jaz. Sometimes all you can do is just sit and be in awe of someone.

He is perfect. I don't know if you can get a

higher compliment than that. I wasn't sure about the song choice,

if I am honest but you won me over. I was pleased that Jessie was won

over, because she is a hard task master. Some of those high notes,

people in the space station were going I can hear that! There is

another perfect one. I don't know if I would go that far, but I will

go with him. She killed it tonight.

That was 100% best moment of my life. Sophie was amazing and

powerful. She is my little warrior. Will looked like he was proud of me

and that's all I wanted. It feels like an arena and you are

the act. It's like you are living a dream. I just to do about another

hour and a half now, that's it. Matt and Sueleen proved they can

sing that song, they did a great job. May sleep in separate rooms,

but your voices are married together. They really are.

That was amazing. One of the biggest moments in my

life, without a doubt. I imagine that we are on tour together, after

we perform all the girls pass by our dressing room and go to yours.

People are singers, and there are artists and I do believe you are an

with us, that makes it OK. Doesn't it? Yes, good. Support goes much

further, so which of these ten have your votes made safe and sound.

More importantly, who is in danger? We are about to find out.

Thank you very much, Reggie. That time is getting ever closer. Tom, I

am going to come to you now. Soon you are going to have to make a big

decision. You are going to be losing one of your teams. I imagine

it's going to be tough, because throughout this process you have

close to them, right? Yes, very close and they work very hard.

They're all great. They're all great in their own right. So, it's

going to be very, very difficult. But I hope they don't hold it

against me, because they've had such great exposure and hopefully

whoever is going to go home will have learned something and have

gotten something from it. But it will be very difficult. No one's

going to hold anything against you because they think highly of you.

Here is how they feel about being part of Team Tom.

To actually be doing something like this I just never ever thought that

could be possible. This experience has definitely brought us closer

together. The thing that's amazing about working with Tom is that you

feel yourself improving every week. Who can say they've had the time

that I have already had with Tom? Not many people. He has a real

warmth that makes you just want to please him all the time. I did find

myself stare ago bit, though. must have kissed him ten times in

the space of five minutes. As a musician, to work with Sir Tom

Jones, it's something that you will remember for the rest of your life.

It already has fulfilled my dreams because I have got this far. The

competition means more than I think anyone will ever realise. This show

has given me a chance to show, to learn new things. I have changed, I

am stronger, more confident. Tkoeu feel like a different person. I

can't have this end now. It's got to carry on.

So, for the first time this competition, the viewers' voices

have been heard. Team Tom, the three of you with the most votes

will remain in the competition. The two with the fewest votes are in

danger and Tom must decide which of you to save. The wait is over.

So, you two are in danger of leaving the competition. Later we

will find out who Tom decides to save. Tom, you have a huge decision

Well, we heard what our coaches think of their teams, but what do

they think of each other? Here comes some very serious, very

professional opinions. I think there is a lot of

competition between the coaches but we are all friends. Danny is a very

natural chap. He is very much about the songwriting and singing. Danny

is probably still pushing a button somewhere. Doing this. I am not

moving from now on. The thing I have come to learn about Jessie is

she means business. Don't trust anyone wearing denim on denim.

is a one-off. Tom Jones, that's my dude right there. Over to Tom. Tom

Jones has been around forever. has worked with everyone. I was

with Elvis Presley in Hawaii. I know Otis Reading. Will is very

hard to work out. That's what makes him intriguing. Yeah, check me out.

Lock up your daughter, get blown out of the water. See, I can rap

too, Will. You are fun. I want one of you for Christmas.

OK, back to this, Will is about to find out which members of his team

are in danger. You knew this day was going to come. How have you

been dealing with this? Well, I have been putting it off until

right now. Have you been thinking about it? Have you sort of worked

out which ever case scenario plays out or are you going to see what

happens on the night? I honestly, every time I come here I try to

come here as honest as possible and try not to think about it so I

react to the performance the way the audience does. It's tough,

right? Well, it's easy up until this point.

Now I am really realising, you know, - that's the way it should be. You

are supposed to find out when you find out. Take a look at this, this

is how your team have found their experience so far.

This experience for me has been life-changing. It's really boosted

my confidence in myself. I have learned hard work does pay off, no

matter what you dream of, you can make it happen. Getting to work

with Will.i.am has been a dream come true. He has so much knowledge

and it's great to feed that off him. He wants you to be yourself. He

wants you to be your own artist. is an absolute genius, like a

musical wizard. To have someone like Will.i.am tell me that you are

incredible and you have got what it takes is really encouraging. I feel

like we are building a relationship and I really wouldn't want that to

end. This is an amazing experience, it

only comes once in your life and I don't want to let that slip. This

has become my world now and for it to end, I would feel devastated.

emotional here would be a massive understatement. Sam, you took that

news really hard. Did you expect to find yourself in this position this

soon? I didn't expect. I didn't really expect anything. I went

without any expectations but when you find yourself that situation,

it's heart-breaking really. How How do you feel right now, you guys

have been singing your hearts out since the beginning of this

competition and now we are here? is gutting. You think that if you

get to this point that you sort of will be able to deal with it, but

it's gutting, of course it is. But you have to stay strong and focused

and just we believe in what we do. I think that's very important.

have done really well to get this far. Totally. Here come the other

guys now. You guys are about to find out your fate as well. You

sung your lungs out tonight. How are you feeling after that news?

Um... Really devastated but I just got to keep faith and, yeah.

broken seeing you as the last two. How are you feeling about your your

relationship with Will and what happens next? Um... I feel that

Will is absolutely awesome and I don't know what's about to happen,

but I am just praying and hoping. OK, we are going to find out what

Who are you going to save? Well, I think, you know, Sam and

Matt and Sueleen, great entertainers and it's very, very

difficult because they're so different. But I can only judge it

on last night's performance. I think I am going to take Matt and

Sueleen. There tough. -- there you have it. Congratulations to Matt

and Sueleen. You have ut - you are utterly shocked. Were you not

expecting it. I wasn't. Sam's such a great performer. Absolutely

didn't expect that. I don't know what to say. You don't need to say

anything. You are still very much part of Team Tom. Off you go. Go

Sam, I don't know what to say to you. It just seems too soon to be

losing such a presence and such a talent as yourself. I just hope

that people won't be losing me, I don't - this isn't the end for me

and people won't be losing me, hopefully. It's been amazing and

Matt and Sueleen - an amazing performance and I was happy to have

had the time I have had on the show. I am gutted and it feels like my

heart has been ripped out, but I am still happy a little bit. I am

trying to be. You should be incredibly proud of what you have

done. You have worked with a legend for the last few months. I have

learned so much. He's been around twice in the music industry, twice

my lifetime and the knowledge you get from that is just invaluable

and I am grateful, really grateful for that. I am sad to be leaving

really. We are sad to see you go. You are utterly fabulous. Isn't he

amazing?! Sam fabulous Buttery, that's what I am going to call you.

Well, I feel as sad about it as Sam does really. It was a hard decision.

But I only went on last night's performance. You were a great

talent and most strength to you but I am sorry, somebody had to stay

and somebody had to go. It was so hard for me to choose. It was not

an easy thing. I know that. Well, there is no doubt that you are a

brilliant artist, even though it's the end of the voice, it's not the

end of you and thank you so much. Everyone, give it up for Sam

That was tough for Tom. Now Will's facing the same decision. He has

two artists in danger, but can only save one. It's between Joelle and

Sophie. Will, this is it. Who are you going to save? So, first off, I

never really like talent shows, but this show is special because every

single person actually sings really, really, really good. APPLAUSE AND

CHEERING. So, I am proud of being on the show. This is like the

hardest thing, right. Both you guys are amazing talents. I am emotional,

especially now. Sophie, you are special. You have learned so much

that it took me ten years to learn, but you learned in two months.

Someone has to go home, so, I promise you, me and Apple, my best

friend, are going to be here for you you whatever you need, but for

the show I am taking Joelle. Joelle, congratulations. Well done.
