Tonight at Ten, the Government says

it's doing everything it can,

0:00:070:00:10

to keep the serial sex attacker

John Worboys behind bars.

0:00:100:00:14

The former black cab

driver was granted parole

0:00:140:00:15

after serving nine years,

but victims and campaigners say

0:00:150:00:19

he shouldn't be released so early.

0:00:190:00:29

Every victim out there, every friend

friend and family of victims,

0:00:310:00:34

everyone who's read about the case

will want to know we're doing

0:00:340:00:36

everything we can to make sure

the victims are properly protected.

0:00:360:00:39

Warboys had been convicted of 19

offences, but police believe he may

0:00:390:00:42

have committed more than a hundred.

0:00:420:00:43

We'll have the latest.

0:00:430:00:44

Also tonight:

0:00:440:00:45

The future of the construction giant

Carillion remains in doubt.

0:00:450:00:48

Talks to save the company

resume tomorrow.

0:00:480:00:49

The fashion photographer

Mario Testino, has been suspended

0:00:490:00:51

from working for Vogue,

following allegations

0:00:510:00:53

of sexual harassment.

0:00:530:00:56

And a record breaking

century from Jason Roy,

0:00:560:00:58

helps England to victory

in the first one day

0:00:580:01:00

international against Australia.

0:01:000:01:10

Good evening.

0:01:300:01:33

The new Conservative Party Chairman

Brandon Lewis, has told the BBC,

0:01:330:01:36

that the Government is doing

everything it can to ensure

0:01:360:01:39

the serial sex offender,

John Worboys, stays in prison.

0:01:390:01:41

The former black cab

driver was jailed in 2009,

0:01:410:01:43

for drugging and sexually assaulting

12 women, but police believe

0:01:430:01:45

he may have committed more

than a hundred attacks.

0:01:450:01:48

Ministers are considering seeking

judicial review into

0:01:480:01:49

the Parole Board's decision

to release him.

0:01:490:01:51

Here's our Home Affairs

Correspondent Danny Shaw.

0:01:510:01:53

He's known as the

"black cab rapist."

0:01:530:01:55

John Worboys is believed to have

drugged and sexually assaulted

0:01:550:01:57

more than 100 women,

yet the Parole Board has

0:01:570:02:07

decided that after ten

years in custoday,

0:02:070:02:08

it's safe for him to be

released, and he's due out

0:02:080:02:11

by the end of the month.

0:02:110:02:13

The Government wants to stop that

happening and is looking

0:02:130:02:15

at the possibility of legal action.

0:02:150:02:16

Anybody out there will appreciate

just how awful this must be

0:02:160:02:19

for the victims to see what has

happened, to think about somebody

0:02:190:02:22

like that being out on the streets.

0:02:220:02:24

He is absolutely right.

0:02:240:02:25

The Secretary of State for Justice

will be doing everything he can

0:02:250:02:28

to make sure this man

stays behind bars.

0:02:280:02:29

The Justice Secretary

is David Gauke.

0:02:290:02:31

Appointed only last week,

he moved quickly to seek legal

0:02:310:02:33

advice about the Worboys case.

0:02:330:02:34

He wants to know if it's plausible

to contest the release decision

0:02:340:02:38

in the courts and if there's a good

chance of success.

0:02:380:02:42

Lawyers for some of Worboys' victims

are also considering legal action.

0:02:420:02:46

We've already, ourselves,

been looking into a judicial review

0:02:460:02:50

challenge of the Parole Board.

0:02:500:02:53

We can also look at the Parole Board

rules which prohibit any publication

0:02:530:02:59

of the reasons for the decision,

something that the Secretary

0:02:590:03:01

of State can't do,

because they are his rules.

0:03:010:03:07

It would be highly unusual

for the Government to launch a legal

0:03:070:03:10

challenge against the Parole Board,

an organisation it's responsible

0:03:100:03:13

for, and if the case does end up

here at the High Court,

0:03:130:03:17

there's no guarantee of success.

0:03:170:03:19

Would it be difficult?

0:03:190:03:22

It all depends on the quality

of the decision-making.

0:03:220:03:26

If this was a bad decision,

if it was a decision which no

0:03:260:03:29

reasonable decision-maker could've

reached, or for some reason it's

0:03:290:03:35

failed to follow the procedures.

0:03:350:03:36

For example, it's been said

that the victims or some

0:03:360:03:39

of the victims weren't consulted.

0:03:390:03:40

Then it's quite possible

the decision was unlawful.

0:03:400:03:42

What's so unusual is that it's not

usually the Secretary

0:03:420:03:44

of State for Justice that's

making those arguments.

0:03:440:03:46

In the meantime,

preparations are continuing

0:03:460:03:48

for John Worboys' release.

0:03:480:03:50

His victims are being consulted

on what conditions he should comply

0:03:500:03:54

with, if and when he is let out.

0:03:540:03:56

Some are concerned that the serial

sex offender will try

0:03:560:03:58

to track them down.

0:03:580:03:59

Danny Shaw, BBC News.

0:03:590:04:03

Our Home Editor Mark Easton is here.

0:04:030:04:08

Ministers, they have to be careful

in this case, don't they? They are

0:04:080:04:14

independent of the Parole Board, the

Government?

Yes, the Parole Board is

0:04:140:04:17

independent of politicians. The

Justice Secretary is not rushing to

0:04:170:04:21

court for exactly that R he knows

the Parole Board is independent. He

0:04:210:04:24

knows, too, not even he, or the Lord

Chancellor can appeal

0:04:240:04:27

knows, too, not even he, or the Lord

Chancellor can appeal a Parole Board

0:04:270:04:28

decision. As you heard in that

report, what he can do is seek a

0:04:280:04:33

judicial review, if he believes that

the process was in the carried out

0:04:330:04:37

properly, or if the decision is

deemed unreasonable in law. Now some

0:04:370:04:40

are questioning, as you know,

whether procedures in relation to

0:04:400:04:45

victims, for instance, were followed

properly in the Worboys' case, but

0:04:450:04:48

even if a judge did accept that and

the review was successful, the

0:04:480:04:53

matter would then be referred back

to the Parole Board for

0:04:530:04:56

reconsideration. Their independence

is paramount. Now people and

0:04:560:05:01

politicians they may argue that the

war boys investigation, the

0:05:010:05:05

prosecution, sentencing, parole,

were all handled badly, they may

0:05:050:05:07

want him to stay in jail, they may

feel that's right but the

0:05:070:05:12

Government, I think will be, yes,

reluctant to do anything which could

0:05:120:05:15

be construed with them interfering

in or challenging the independence

0:05:150:05:18

of the parole process. OK. Mark

Easton, thank you.

0:05:180:05:23

Talks to secure the future

of the struggling

0:05:230:05:25

construction firm Carillion,

are expected to continue tomorrow.

0:05:250:05:27

The company, which holds several key

government contracts,

0:05:270:05:30

owes more than £900 million

to a number of banks.

0:05:300:05:35

Ministers say they're keeping

a close eye on the situation.

0:05:350:05:37

Here's our Business

Correspondent Joe Lynam.

0:05:370:05:40

Carillion is probably

the biggest British company

0:05:400:05:41

you've never heard of.

0:05:410:05:43

It maintains hundreds

of schools, hospitals,

0:05:430:05:45

prisons and even libraries.

0:05:450:05:48

If it collapsed, there is a concern

about who would take

0:05:480:05:51

over at short notice.

0:05:510:05:52

And it's not just public services

that would be affected.

0:05:520:05:56

Thousands of private firms

in the construction sector also

0:05:560:06:00

dependent on Carillion

for subcontracted work.

0:06:000:06:03

We cover 65% of steelwork

contracting in the UK and that's

0:06:030:06:06

worth £3 billion to the UK economy.

0:06:060:06:12

It represents 120,000 workers.

0:06:120:06:15

So if you multiply that across all

of these sub trades in the UK,

0:06:150:06:18

the effect on subcontractors

could be significant.

0:06:180:06:23

And today there was a flurry

of activity at the Cabinet Office,

0:06:230:06:26

itself having a face-lift.

0:06:260:06:31

Pulling together all the different

strands of government

0:06:310:06:39

dependent on Carillion.

0:06:390:06:40

Because Carillion carries out

so much workforce are many

0:06:400:06:44

different arms of government,

it needs to be co-ordinated

0:06:440:06:46

here at the Cabinet Office.

0:06:460:06:47

What they are working on today

is contingency plans,

0:06:470:06:49

so should the company 's collapse,

and it's a big should,

0:06:490:06:52

then they are ready to continue

working in prisons, schools

0:06:520:06:54

and hospitals and there won't be

as much interruption to services.

0:06:540:06:58

Carillion's biggest creditors are

also the country's top five banks.

0:06:580:07:00

They'll be meeting the government

again tomorrow morning to ensure

0:07:000:07:02

that these brilliant

cranes keep working.

0:07:020:07:12

--Carillion cranes.

0:07:190:07:20

Sources tell the BBC that the banks

would be prepared to show more

0:07:200:07:23

patience towards Carillion

if the government supported

0:07:230:07:25

the company as well.

0:07:250:07:26

That could mean taxpayers

guaranteeing it.

0:07:260:07:27

But a public bailout of a private

business would be politically toxic.

0:07:270:07:30

Joe Lynam, BBC News.

0:07:300:07:31

The leader of Ukip Henry Bolton,

is under pressure

0:07:310:07:33

to resign, after his girlfriend

was suspended from the party,

0:07:330:07:36

for making offensive remarks

about Prince Harry's fiancee,

0:07:360:07:38

Meghan Markle.

0:07:380:07:39

Mr Bolton, who's the party's fourth

leader since the Brexit referendum,

0:07:390:07:41

hasn't made any comment.

0:07:410:07:43

Here's our Political

Correspondent Alex Forsyth.

0:07:430:07:48

It was only last September that

Henry Bolton got Ukip's top job,

0:07:480:07:51

promising to focus on Brexit.

0:07:510:07:56

We, as a party, are

a party of leaders.

0:07:560:07:58

In fact, he was the party's

fourth leader in a year

0:07:580:08:01

and now there are questions

about his personal life

0:08:010:08:03

and political future.

0:08:030:08:10

His girlened, Jo Marni,

has been suspended from Ukip

0:08:100:08:13

for making offensive comments

and some in the party think

0:08:130:08:15

it is cause for him to resign.

0:08:150:08:17

All we see, week after week,

is Henry's personal issues,

0:08:170:08:20

which frankly no-one cares about,

but where is the substance,

0:08:200:08:22

where is the policy?

0:08:220:08:23

I think as long as this story runs,

our party becomes weaker

0:08:230:08:26

and his leadership becomes

weaker and untenable.

0:08:260:08:31

In a series of text messages

reported by the Mail on Sunday,

0:08:310:08:34

Jo Marni, called black people ugly

and said Meghan Markle had

0:08:340:08:37

a tiny brain and would

taint the Royal Family.

0:08:370:08:40

In a statement she later

said her comments had

0:08:400:08:46

been "unnecessary,

reckless and exaggerated

0:08:460:08:47

for effect", and offered sincere

and deepest apologies to anyone

0:08:470:08:53

she'd hurt and for the distress

and embarrassment caused to family,

0:08:530:08:56

friends and the party,

presumably, including her boyfriend.

0:08:560:09:00

Henry is increasingly

in a position where he's got some

0:09:000:09:03

difficult decisions to make.

0:09:030:09:04

He knows that.

0:09:040:09:05

He and I have spoken

regularly over the weekend.

0:09:050:09:07

As recently as this morning.

0:09:070:09:09

I know he is very focussed on those

decisions today and he intends

0:09:090:09:12

on making those decisions today.

0:09:120:09:13

I'm sure whatever he does will be

in the best interests of the party.

0:09:130:09:17

So, tonight, perhaps

contemplating his future,

0:09:170:09:20

with the party struggling

to maintain its place

0:09:200:09:22

in mainstream politics.

0:09:220:09:23

Just 18 months ago here,

Ukip was celebrating success

0:09:230:09:25

after the Brexit referendum.

0:09:260:09:28

Now, once again, it's engulfed

in turmoil at the very top.

0:09:280:09:31

Perhaps a sign of just how

troubled the party is,

0:09:310:09:34

Nigel Farage told me today

he wouldn't consider returning

0:09:340:09:37

the helm even for a second.

0:09:370:09:41

Alex Forsyth, BBC News, Westminster.

0:09:410:09:48

Within the last hour police

in Yorkshire say they've

0:09:480:09:51

found the body of a man,

wanted in connection with a murder,

0:09:510:09:54

thought to have been

committed with a crossbow.

0:09:540:09:57

Humberside Police began a manhunt

for Anthony Lawrence who was 56,

0:09:570:10:00

in connection with the death of one

of his neighbours on Friday,

0:10:000:10:03

in the village of Southburn

in East Yorkshire.

0:10:030:10:05

Shane Gilmer who was 30,

died in hospital after

0:10:050:10:07

being attacked at home.

0:10:070:10:09

Police say his pregnant girlfriend

who was also hurt, is in a stable

0:10:090:10:12

condition in hospital.

0:10:120:10:14

The family of one of

the victims in the Glasgow bin

0:10:140:10:18

lorry crash, which killed six people

three years ago, is to be paid

0:10:180:10:21

£800,000 in compensation.

0:10:210:10:28

Gillian Ewing died

when the truck, driven

0:10:280:10:30

by Harry Clarke, went out of control

in December 2014.

0:10:300:10:32

It's the first pay out made

by Glasgow City Council

0:10:320:10:34

to the victims' families.

0:10:340:10:35

A fatal accident inquiry

found Clarke had lost

0:10:350:10:37

consciousness at the wheel.

0:10:370:10:45

The man leading the inquiry,

into how a warning of an imminent

0:10:450:10:48

missile attack was mistakenly sent

to people in Hawaii,

0:10:480:10:50

says the local government doesn't

have reasonable safeguards

0:10:500:10:52

to prevent such an error.

0:10:520:10:53

The false alarm yesterday

triggered widespread panic.

0:10:530:10:55

In a statement the Chair of the US

Federal Communications Commission,

0:10:550:10:58

said government officials had

to work together to prevent

0:10:580:11:00

a similar incident happening again.

0:11:000:11:07

Two of the world's leading

fashion photographers

0:11:070:11:11

have been suspended from working

for Vogue and other magazines owned

0:11:110:11:13

by the publishing house Conde Nast.

0:11:140:11:15

The New York Times has

0:11:150:11:16

published a series of allegations

against Mario Testino

0:11:160:11:18

and Bruce Weber, that they sexually

harassed young male models.

0:11:180:11:20

They both deny the claims.

0:11:200:11:22

Adina Campbell reports.

0:11:220:11:25

He is one of the Royal family's

favourite photographers.

0:11:250:11:30

Mario Testino has been capturing

famous faces for four decades.

0:11:300:11:34

But the New York Times has published

allegations of sexual misconduct,

0:11:340:11:37

with more than a dozen male models

and assistance accusing the

0:11:370:11:41

63-year-old of indecent behaviour.

0:11:410:11:49

Testino's lawyers have

said his accusers cannot be

0:11:490:11:51

considered reliable sources.

0:11:510:11:53

Another well-known photographer,

Bruce Weber is also facing

0:11:530:11:55

similar allegations.

0:11:550:11:56

He has denied any wrongdoing.

0:11:560:11:59

But Conde Nast, which publishes

magazines including Vogue

0:11:590:12:01

and GQ has taken action.

0:12:010:12:07

In a statement, the editor,

Anna Wintour, who calls them

0:12:070:12:10

both personal friends

0:12:100:12:12

has said, "I take the allegations

very seriously, and we at Conde Nast

0:12:120:12:15

have decided to put our working

relationship with both photographers

0:12:150:12:18

on hold for the foreseeable future."

0:12:180:12:21

Vogue is a global powerhouse.

0:12:210:12:24

To grace one of the front

covers is a massive deal.

0:12:240:12:27

Mario Testino and Bruce Weber

have been responsible

0:12:270:12:29

for some of those images,

but with allegations of sexual

0:12:290:12:32

exploitation swirling,

their futures are hanging

0:12:320:12:33

in the balance.

0:12:330:12:38

There are now calls for more

regulation in the fashion world.

0:12:380:12:48

I've been on shoots where I had been

inappropriately touched.

0:12:510:12:54

I have had inappropriate

comments made to me.

0:12:540:12:56

I would like to see unions organised

to collectively bargain,

0:12:560:12:58

and I would like to see

what the model alliance

0:12:580:13:00

of New York is proposing,

an independent body that

0:13:000:13:03

would represent models against major

players in the fashion industry.

0:13:030:13:05

These allegations are the latest

to rock the world of fashion,

0:13:050:13:08

entertainment and social media

and don't seem to be going away.

0:13:080:13:15

More than 150 passengers

and crew had a narrow escape

0:13:150:13:18

when their plane skidded off

the runway in Turkish

0:13:180:13:21

coastal resort.

0:13:210:13:22

The Boeing 737 slid

down a steep slope,

0:13:220:13:25

More than 150 passengers

and crew had a narrow escape

0:13:250:13:36

when their plane skidded off

the runway in Turkish

0:13:360:13:38

coastal resort.

0:13:390:13:40

The Boeing 737 slid

down a steep slope,

0:13:400:13:41

coming to a standstill in thick mud,

just a few metres from

0:13:410:13:44

the edge of the Black Sea.

0:13:440:13:46

No-one was injured at the airport

in Trabzon, about a hundred miles

0:13:460:13:49

An Iranian oil tanker has sunk

in the East China Sea,

0:13:500:13:53

eight days after bursting

into flames, following

0:13:530:13:54

a collision with another ship.

0:13:540:13:55

The vessel had been transporting

nearly a million barrels of oil

0:13:550:13:58

from Iran to South Korea.

0:13:580:13:59

All 32 crew members

are presumed dead.

Chinese state media says a large

amount of spilled oil

0:14:010:14:03

is continuing to burn.

0:14:030:14:04

After days of anti-austerity

demonstrations across Tunisia,

0:14:040:14:06

resulting in 800 arrests,

the government has announced

0:14:060:14:08

a wave of social reforms.

0:14:080:14:15

The protests which began

earlier this month, mark

0:14:150:14:17

the seventh anniversary,

of the ousting of the former

0:14:170:14:19

President Zine El-Abidine,

in one of the first Arab uprisings

0:14:190:14:26

for greater democracy.

0:14:260:14:27

Many Tunisians say their living

conditions still haven't improved,

0:14:270:14:29

and tonight protestors are back

on the streets.

0:14:290:14:31

Mark Lowen reports

from the capital, Tunis.

0:14:310:14:33

A rallying cry by Tunisians,

that their revolution

0:14:330:14:34

should not be in vain.

0:14:350:14:36

Seven years since toppling

their dictator, the cradle

0:14:360:14:38

of the Arab Spring has

not fallen silent.

0:14:380:14:40

They called for the basics,

jobs and a better life.

0:14:400:14:50

Anger burned last week amid plans

to raise prices and taxes

0:14:520:14:54

to satisfy Tunisia's lenders.

0:14:540:14:55

More than 800 people were arrested

and a protester died.

0:14:550:14:58

Shops and government

buildings were torched.

0:14:580:15:04

Poorer parts of the country feel

the promise of change has died.

0:15:040:15:07

Nine governments haven't

eased economic pain.

0:15:070:15:08

Youth unemployment is over 35%.

0:15:080:15:11

With terror attacks,

tourism plummeted.

0:15:110:15:20

to survive", this woman told us.

0:15:200:15:27

"We don't have anything.

0:15:270:15:29

We are in need.

0:15:290:15:30

We can't live.

0:15:300:15:36

Oil, sugar, even rubbish bags

are too expensive now.

0:15:360:15:38

We're miserable."

0:15:390:15:40

Ahmed Sarsi was detained

for two days on suspicion

0:15:400:15:42

of fomenting the protests,

which he denies.

0:15:420:15:43

The government says

they are destroying the state.

0:15:430:15:46

He believes the revolution didn't

kill off the old regime.

TRANSLATION:

We were full of hope

in 2011 that we could build

0:15:560:15:59

a country where people live

with dignity and rights

0:15:590:16:06

but we are more and more in a dead

end and the protests are met

0:16:060:16:10

by a police state that does not

accept our alternative view.

0:16:100:16:12

In a bid to quell the protests,

the government has announced

0:16:120:16:15

a welfare package, raising benefits

and approving health care.

0:16:150:16:20

Seven years on, Tunisia's

commemoration is bittersweet.

0:16:200:16:22

There's pride that this country

became a parliamentary

0:16:220:16:24

democracy of some sort.

0:16:240:16:29

But frustration too that the hopes

of 2011 for comprehensive change

0:16:290:16:32

and prosperity for all have faded.

0:16:320:16:39

Tunisia is held up as the success

of the Arab Spring but it's shaky.

0:16:390:16:43

Revolutionary zeal remains,

even if the optimism of that time

0:16:430:16:45

is a distant memory.

0:16:450:16:46

Mark Lowen, BBC News, Tunis.

0:16:460:16:53

Now, with all the day's sport,

here's Karthi Gnanasegaram

0:16:530:16:55

at the BBC Sport Centre.

0:16:550:16:56

Good evening.

0:16:560:16:57

Ten goals were scored in today's two

Premier League games.

0:16:570:16:59

It is time to pop out of the room

if you don't want to know today's

0:16:590:17:06

results as Match of the Day Two

follows soon on BBC One.

0:17:060:17:08

Liverpool defeated

Premier League leaders,

0:17:080:17:10

Manchester City 4-3.

0:17:100:17:11

It's the first time City have lost

in the League this season.

0:17:110:17:14

It was a throughly entertaining

encounter with Liverpool scoring

0:17:140:17:19

three of their goals

in just eight minutes.

0:17:190:17:21

Arsenal were defeated

2-1 by Bournemouth who

0:17:210:17:23

move up to 13th place.

0:17:230:17:25

After the game, the Arsenal manager,

Arsene Wenger, admitted

0:17:250:17:28

that the future of his star forward,

Alexis Sanchez, "will be decided

0:17:280:17:31

in the next 48 hours".

0:17:310:17:36

Ryan Giggs is set to be named as the

new Wales' manager. Giggs won 64

0:17:360:17:42

caps and was a former Wales'

captain. He will succeed Chris

0:17:420:17:46

Coleman who left the role in

November. An official announcement

0:17:460:17:49

is expected tomorrow.

0:17:490:17:50

England's cricketers

made an impressive start

0:17:500:17:52

to their One Day International

series against Australia winning

0:17:520:17:54

their first game by five wickets.

0:17:540:17:57

Jason Roy hit the highest

one day international

0:17:570:17:59

score by an Englishman -

a record 180.

0:17:590:18:03

And Roy says England

will be "ruthless" after

0:18:030:18:05

a disappointing Ashes Test series.

0:18:050:18:06

Adam Wild reports.

0:18:060:18:16

For English cricket the time to

rebl, recover and restore

0:18:160:18:20

reputations. A fresh start and it

soon became a rather good one for

0:18:200:18:23

England. Early wickets falling but

this is Australia and after

0:18:230:18:27

dominating all winter they weren't

about to go easy on their old

0:18:270:18:31

rivals. A century for from Aaron

finch helping them to 304. In days

0:18:310:18:41

gone by, such targets were imposing

but now it is merely invite. Jason

0:18:410:18:45

Roy taking up the challenge with the

kind of relish missed by England.

0:18:450:18:51

Belligerent he blistered away to a

magnificent 100. Taking the game

0:18:510:18:56

away from Australia the highest

one-day international innings by an

0:18:560:19:01

Englishman against Australia. Joe

Root for once the support act. 91

0:19:010:19:04

for him. The win when it came

comfortable and for English cricket

0:19:040:19:10

could scarcely have been more

welcome.

0:19:100:19:12

Olympic gold medallist,

Anthony Joshua, has

0:19:120:19:14

announced that he will meet

New Zealand's Joseph Parker

0:19:140:19:16

in a world heavyweight

unification fight -

0:19:160:19:22

The first of its kind in Great

Britain. They'll fight at Cardiff's

0:19:220:19:27

Principality Stadium on March 3

#1st. It'll be the first time in

0:19:270:19:32

history two reigning heavyweight

World Champions will meet in

0:19:320:19:34

Britain. # Leicester Tigers are out

of rugby union, European's World

0:19:340:19:41

0:19:470:19:52

defeat for world number one. The

reigning World Champion lost by 6-5

0:19:520:19:57

to Mark Williams. He progresses to

the quarterfinal.

0:19:570:20:01

And there's more sport on the BBC

Sport website. Include be British

0:20:010:20:06

his Australian tennis Open campaign

0:20:060:20:11

at midnight. And Glenn daunt was won

a second BDO World Darts Title.

Clive.

0:20:170:20:21

Before we go a quick

word about tomorrow,

0:20:210:20:23

when we'll be broadcasting live

from Bangladesh -

0:20:230:20:25

inside what's become the world's

largest refugee camp.

0:20:250:20:30

The hubs and shelters stretch as far

as the eye can see. Now home to

0:20:300:20:36

hundreds of thousands of ro hinge ga

Muslims. But how permanent will this

0:20:360:20:40

be? Will they ever be able to return

to Myanmar in safety? Five months on

0:20:400:20:46

from the peak of the exodus,

refugees are still arriving. #

0:20:460:20:50

This is your brother.

My brother.

Is

this the one who is missing?

Yeah.

0:20:500:20:55

They are still traumatised and now

there's a new battle against

0:20:550:20:58

disease. We'll be hearing their

store yans asking where their future

0:20:580:21:05

lies.

0:21:050:21:07

That's Mishal Husain,

on the continuing problems

0:21:070:21:09

of the Rohingya refugees,

on tomorrow morning's Today

0:21:090:21:11

programme on Radio 4,

and the television News

0:21:110:21:13
