David Cameron says Britain's "military prowess" will be needed to

defeat the jihadist group Islamic State in Iraq.

Writing in The Sunday Telegraph, the Prime Minister says

a humanitarian response to the crisis there is not enough.

He also warns militants could target Britain.

that it is not just about fighting on the ground but also a battle
