A massive police investigation uncovers more than 30 million images | :00:00. | :00:09.

with each other. More than 30 million images | :01:01. | :01:15.
depicting child sexual abuse have been uncovered in a massive | :01:16. | :01:21.
Police Scotland investigation. Victims as young as three | :01:22. | :01:24.
were identified in what police say | :01:25. | :01:26.
is a growing problem. Our correspondent Lucy Adams | :01:27. | :01:31.
reports. The dark side of the internet. | :01:32. | :01:48.
Police Scotland say there is a massive increase in online child | :01:49. | :01:52.
abuse. These individuals want to be wherever children are, so they are | :01:53. | :01:57.
using websites, forums, chat rooms that children use. These men, | :01:58. | :02:03.
predominantly, are using the profiles of children, pretending to | :02:04. | :02:05.
be children effectively to communicate with younger children, | :02:06. | :02:12.
to groom them online, to offend against them. In an unprecedented | :02:13. | :02:18.
six-week operation earlier this summer, 547 devices were seized and | :02:19. | :02:25.
examined. 523 child victims were identified, and more than 30 million | :02:26. | :02:28.
indecent and child sexual abuse images were recovered, and there | :02:29. | :02:34.
were 392 charges, including rape, sexual extortion and grooming. This | :02:35. | :02:39.
is children being sexually abused, the images being shared, real | :02:40. | :02:44.
victims in Scotland and elsewhere, and it is about these horrific acts | :02:45. | :02:49.
that ruin peoples lives, and we need to make sure that stops. One | :02:50. | :02:52.
computer at alone lead to the recovery of 10 million indecent | :02:53. | :02:58.
images. Lycee it will take four full-time officers six months just | :02:59. | :03:03.
to view them. -- police say. Another suspect had communicated with more | :03:04. | :03:10.
than 110 children. As well as cracking down on crime online, | :03:11. | :03:14.
police are keen to prevent online abuse from happening in the first | :03:15. | :03:19.
place. Safety on the internet, how you keep yourself safe when you are | :03:20. | :03:25.
online... These young people in Clydebank are learning how to | :03:26. | :03:27.
protect themselves online. Many have Clydebank are learning how to | :03:28. | :03:32.
been victims of cyber bullying. It is the side of the internet you do | :03:33. | :03:36.
not know if it is going to stop, it did, but then it did not too long | :03:37. | :03:42.
ago. But the best thing I done was actually talk to someone. I think it | :03:43. | :03:46.
has went to that stage where no-one knows how to cope with it sometimes, | :03:47. | :03:50.
whereas we have got groups like this that you can come to and talk with | :03:51. | :03:54.
them, it is not like they are not going to help you a lot. Reputation, | :03:55. | :04:01.
safety, responsibility... Police say the scale of the problem is far | :04:02. | :04:05.
higher than previously thought. They are warning parents and children to | :04:06. | :04:07.
be vigilant. This raises issues about social | :04:08. | :04:07.
networking apps used by children. Absolutely. Unfortunately, it raises | :04:08. | :04:21.
issues about all the online websites, apps and forums that young | :04:22. | :04:28.
people used, evolving technology means that children and | :04:29. | :04:30.
unfortunately perpetrators can access and stream information much | :04:31. | :04:34.
more readily and more quickly than ever before. Now, Police Scotland | :04:35. | :04:39.
say they have evolving technology themselves, and that is what they | :04:40. | :04:42.
have been using as part of this operation. We know that they | :04:43. | :04:48.
arrested, as you said, 77 men, most of them in Scotland. Of those, we | :04:49. | :04:53.
know that six were registered sex offenders, four were people holding | :04:54. | :04:57.
positions of trust. We also know that these men pretended, many of | :04:58. | :05:01.
them, to be children on some of these apps and websites and forums | :05:02. | :05:06.
in order to view young people into either meeting or other things. -- | :05:07. | :05:13.
lure. We know from what the police are saying that these forums are, in | :05:14. | :05:17.
some cases our problem. They are saying be alert, don't be alarmed. | :05:18. | :05:22.
The message for parents is that you need to be aware of what is going | :05:23. | :05:26.
on, as do children, and police say they will continue to crack down | :05:27. | :05:30.
both on the perpetrators and to run these educational programmes in | :05:31. | :05:34.
order to keep children safe online. Lucy, thank you very much. | :05:35. | :05:37.
This weekend, half of the BHS stores in Scotland | :05:38. | :05:39.
The company has 16 stores across Scotland. | :05:40. | :05:42.
Two, in Clydebank and Stirling, have closed already. | :05:43. | :05:44.
Eight more are due to close this Sunday. | :05:45. | :05:48.
Staff at the remaining stores are still waiting | :05:49. | :05:52.
to find out how much longer they can stay open. | :05:53. | :06:00.
to find out what impact the retailer's closure will have. | :06:01. | :06:05.
It has been a fixture of this high street for decades, but now there is | :06:06. | :06:12.
just one week and left for BHS in Ayr. This outlet, in the heart of | :06:13. | :06:16.
the town for 32 years, was one of the worst performing stores, but | :06:17. | :06:21.
locals say it will be missed. BHS is a mainstay of Ayr, it was a huge | :06:22. | :06:26.
store, and a sad reflection of the town centre down here that another | :06:27. | :06:30.
huge store is closing. It was the ideal place, you could go and have a | :06:31. | :06:35.
cup of tea, meet up with friends. I think it will have a big effect, and | :06:36. | :06:41.
it does all the different brands. A sad loss to Ayr, a tragedy. There | :06:42. | :06:47.
are nearly 30 empty retail places and Ayr's high street alone, and the | :06:48. | :06:51.
council is having to adapt. This doesn't look great, but we have Ayr | :06:52. | :06:57.
renaissance, we are making every endeavour to improve the high | :06:58. | :07:01.
street. However, we have to accept that the retail landscape is | :07:02. | :07:04.
changing, it is a challenge when you lose such an important anchor shop, | :07:05. | :07:10.
a large floor space, difficult to fill. It is not for me to speculate | :07:11. | :07:15.
for its future. When a major retailer closes down, it leaves a | :07:16. | :07:19.
void, and this size of store in the size of town is particularly | :07:20. | :07:23.
difficult to fill. But it is about people, more than 500 jobs in | :07:24. | :07:28.
Scotland lost, and in this case more than 20,000 pensions affected. | :07:29. | :07:33.
Campaigner lane and helped launch the store back in the mid 1980s. It | :07:34. | :07:40.
was really exciting, because there had not been a BHS in Ayr before, | :07:41. | :07:43.
and everyone was looking forward to it. It is heartbreaking for the | :07:44. | :07:47.
staff who were losing their jobs and facing potential cuts in their | :07:48. | :07:52.
pensions in the future. They feel really betrayed, particularly when | :07:53. | :07:56.
they see pictures in the paper of Philip Green and his wife sunning | :07:57. | :08:00.
themselves on their yacht in the Mediterranean. The collapse of BA | :08:01. | :08:07.
arrays as big questions about how companies' pension schemes are | :08:08. | :08:10.
policed and also about the future of the high street. -- the collapse of | :08:11. | :08:12.
BHS raises. And we'll have more from him | :08:13. | :08:14.
on Monday, when he looks at what solutions there could be | :08:15. | :08:17.
to filling the void Two batches of cheese | :08:18. | :08:19.
are being recalled by a manufacturer in Lanarkshire after 16 | :08:20. | :08:22.
people contracted E-coli. Around 180 kilograms | :08:23. | :08:27.
of the Dunsyre Blue cheese according to Food | :08:28. | :08:33.
Standards Scotland. But its manufacturer says | :08:34. | :08:36.
no link has been shown. I'm joined by our reporter | :08:37. | :08:38.
Aileen Clarke. What more do we know about this? | :08:39. | :08:48.
Well, 16 people have been confirmed as having contracted E-Coli 0157. | :08:49. | :08:55.
Two adults are in hospital, two of the other cases are in England, but | :08:56. | :09:00.
the rest are in Scotland, and I understand they are spread around | :09:01. | :09:03.
seven health board areas, so fairly widespread. We are told the expert | :09:04. | :09:07.
group investigating this outbreak believes there is a very strong link | :09:08. | :09:12.
to Dusyre Blye cheese, made with an unpasteurised milk. A number of the | :09:13. | :09:16.
people affected by E-coli have eaten it, which is why they are making | :09:17. | :09:22.
this connection the cheeses produced in Lanarkshire, as you say, and this | :09:23. | :09:26.
is their reaction to this food standards investigation. As a | :09:27. | :09:33.
responsible company, we took voluntary decision last night to | :09:34. | :09:38.
recall the two batches of cheese which they were concerned about. We | :09:39. | :09:43.
have done that, so at the moment we are doing a lot of testing | :09:44. | :09:49.
ourselves, an investigation to see whether there is, in fact, any | :09:50. | :09:53.
evidence of a connection. Now, what is interesting, Sally, is that | :09:54. | :09:57.
investigations are continuing into this, but the experts who are | :09:58. | :10:00.
looking at it for the food standards people, you know, as far as they are | :10:01. | :10:05.
concerned this cheese is the chief suspect, but it is interesting that | :10:06. | :10:08.
most people affected have it in this cheese while they are in | :10:09. | :10:11.
restaurants, because it is not generally sold in restaurants, -- in | :10:12. | :10:18.
shops, it is hotels and delicatessens. If you have bought | :10:19. | :10:21.
some of this cheese, if it is sitting in your fridge, if you have | :10:22. | :10:25.
bought it since the 18th of May this year, basically, do not eat it, that | :10:26. | :10:30.
is the basic advice. We have to remember that E-Coli can be fatal. | :10:31. | :10:35.
As we know in Scotland, this can be very serious, especially if it | :10:36. | :10:38.
affects the elderly or the very young, so it is treated very | :10:39. | :10:42.
seriously indeed. Many people will remember the Lanark blue cheese that | :10:43. | :10:47.
was linked to listeria in the 1990s, is this the same producer? That is | :10:48. | :10:52.
right, the same producer went to court to actually stop an order that | :10:53. | :10:56.
had been taken out on him by the local environmental health people | :10:57. | :10:59.
because they wanted to destroy a massive batch of Lanarkshire blue | :11:00. | :11:04.
cheese because of listeria, because they said there was far more found | :11:05. | :11:10.
in it than should be there. But it was found, also, that nobody had got | :11:11. | :11:14.
ill because of it, and in end he went to court, he kept the battle up | :11:15. | :11:18.
and he won the case to save his cheese. But that was listeria. Here, | :11:19. | :11:24.
E-Coli is taken very seriously, we do have people who have been | :11:25. | :11:30.
affected here, and both the producer himself and the food experts are | :11:31. | :11:33.
continuing their investigations to see if they can pin down further | :11:34. | :11:35.
what has happened here. You're watching Reporting | :11:36. | :11:39.
Scotland from the BBC. Still to come on tonight's | :11:40. | :11:41.

The Scottish Government plan to cut air passenger duty could reduce | :12:04. | :12:11.
the number of tourists who take a holiday in Scotland. | :12:12. | :12:14.
That's according to some of the groups | :12:15. | :12:16.
who've responded to a public consultation on the issue. | :12:17. | :12:20.
But others say reducing the cost of flights will bring more visitors | :12:21. | :12:23.
to Scotland and be a major boost to the economy. | :12:24. | :12:25.
Our business correspondent David Henderson is here | :12:26. | :12:30.
Anyone flying in and out of Scotland's main airports | :12:31. | :12:33.
has to pay air passenger duty on top of the price of the flight. | :12:34. | :12:37.
and it's set at different rates for different journeys. | :12:38. | :12:44.
So if you fly short-haul to Europe this summer | :12:45. | :12:47.
and you travel economy class, you pay an extra ?13. | :12:48. | :12:53.
But a passenger on a long-haul flight pays far more - at least ?73. | :12:54. | :12:57.
Double that if you're travelling business class. | :12:58. | :13:02.
Now the Scottish Government wants to cut that tax in half. | :13:03. | :13:10.
It is the busiest time of year at Scotland's airports as | :13:11. | :13:17.
holiday-makers head for the sun, but they are paying a tax when they fly. | :13:18. | :13:22.
As Holyrood gains new powers, air passenger duty will come under the | :13:23. | :13:26.
control of the Scottish Government, and administers here wants to cut | :13:27. | :13:30.
that tax and make it cheaper to fly to and from Scotland. -- ministers. | :13:31. | :13:36.
Some business leaders say it is a good plan. The case is very clear | :13:37. | :13:41.
for a reduction in APD, we have one of the highest rates in the world, | :13:42. | :13:45.
and a signal to reduce that rate in Scotland would send out a massive | :13:46. | :13:49.
boost to business in Scotland and send out a signal to the rest of the | :13:50. | :13:53.
world that we are truly open for business. Not everyone agrees. | :13:54. | :13:57.
Environmental groups say if more people fly, there will be more | :13:58. | :14:01.
greenhouse gas and harm to the environment. And some are sceptical | :14:02. | :14:11.
that this tax cut would boost the economy. We are not sure, for | :14:12. | :14:14.
example, that if APD were cut, that the revenues that the Scottish | :14:15. | :14:16.
Government might make from any increase in economic activity would | :14:17. | :14:20.
compensate for the loss from air passenger duty, and then the | :14:21. | :14:23.
consequence of that might be that other taxes would have to be raised. | :14:24. | :14:27.
That looks like a gamble the Scottish Government is prepared to | :14:28. | :14:30.
take as it bids to boost Scotland's links with the rest of the world. | :14:31. | :14:33.
So there's no agreement on whether air passenger | :14:34. | :14:35.
But ministers at Holyrood say they'll now push ahead | :14:36. | :14:38.
For those of you making travel plans, | :14:39. | :14:41.
The new tax takes effect in April 2018. | :14:42. | :14:47.
We're told within three years the tax will be cut by 50%. | :14:48. | :14:50.
And the Government wants to abolish the tax entirely | :14:51. | :14:52.
Meanwhile, the Scottish Government wants to hear people's views | :14:53. | :15:02.
as it prepares to launch its own social security system. | :15:03. | :15:09.
Powers over some benefits are being moved from Westminster to Holyrood. | :15:10. | :15:17.
We want to, in particular, hear from people who have that lived | :15:18. | :15:24.
experience of the benefit system about how we can do things | :15:25. | :15:28.
differently in Scotland, and how we can get it right for the 1.5 million | :15:29. | :15:33.
people in Scotland who are currently in receipt of a carers benefit or a | :15:34. | :15:36.
disability benefit. Workers on seven Shell installations | :15:37. | :15:38.
involved in a dispute This week, members the Unite and RMT | :15:39. | :15:42.
unions staged the first strike in response to a long-running row | :15:43. | :15:49.
over pay and working patterns. The next strike will begin | :15:50. | :15:53.
on Thursday morning. An unmarked police motorcycle will | :15:54. | :15:58.
be on Scotland's roads this weekend, hoping to catch people who are | :15:59. | :16:02.
driving dangerously on motorbikes. It's in response to a recent rise | :16:03. | :16:06.
in the number of people killed in accidents involving motorbikes - | :16:07. | :16:09.
nine already this summer - Gearing up to fight crime on | :16:10. | :16:26.
Scotland's roads. Although these road policing officers might look | :16:27. | :16:29.
familiar, one of them is trying not to stand out. This unMark motorcycle | :16:30. | :16:36.
and the officer riding it is Police Scotland's latest attempt to bring | :16:37. | :16:40.
down the number of accidents caused by dangerous riders. It will be | :16:41. | :16:43.
deployed around the country, starting with the borders this | :16:44. | :16:44.
weekend. Is a forward facing camera here and | :16:45. | :16:58.
at the rear, rear facing camera. Police Scotland save this | :16:59. | :17:01.
motorcycle's main purpose is not to catch people but to deter them. | :17:02. | :17:06.
There are lots of motorcycle routes around Scotland was nice scenery and | :17:07. | :17:09.
enjoyable routes. People from all over the world come, and with | :17:10. | :17:14.
increased motorcycles and tourist activity, there is more hazards on | :17:15. | :17:18.
the road. Evidence of dangerous riding or speeding will be played | :17:19. | :17:21.
back to bikers on the spot. If necessary, it will be used as | :17:22. | :17:25.
evidence. The public are not all in favour. At this bike shop, | :17:26. | :17:30.
accusations of underhand tactics. I think it is a bit sneaky, targeting | :17:31. | :17:41.
bikers. I question -- a question a lot of people have been coming to me | :17:42. | :17:47.
with is weather the police are using their resources correctly. There is | :17:48. | :17:50.
a big problem with motorcycle theft in Edinburgh. I think it is an | :17:51. | :17:53.
incentive for people to be careful on the road. After years of | :17:54. | :18:00.
declining motorcycle deaths, deaths are rising again. Police Scotland | :18:01. | :18:02.
say it is time to apply the brakes. Let's go to David for the sport, | :18:03. | :18:09.
and an amazing story of survival. A Commonweath Games medallist | :18:10. | :18:12.

were there and they explained to me that I had been in a motorbike | :18:53. | :18:55.

about what had happened. That was probably the scariest thing, getting | :18:59. | :19:02.
told what went wrong. Stephanie was teaching English in Vietnam when she | :19:03. | :19:06.
was seriously injured on a taxi journey. The chances of survival | :19:07. | :19:10.
were slim. Insurance problems meant she could not get the treatment she | :19:11. | :19:13.
needed but a crowdfunding campaign started by a friend at home ensure | :19:14. | :19:15.
that she did. I cannot believe that started by a friend at home ensure | :19:16. | :19:21.
so many people came together for me and I am forever grateful because if | :19:22. | :19:24.
it was not for them, I might not have had the money to get on and who | :19:25. | :19:27.
knows, I might not be sitting talking to you. There are still | :19:28. | :19:32.
plenty of support from friends and family as Stephanie continues her | :19:33. | :19:35.
rehabilitation back home in Scotland. The pace of her recovery | :19:36. | :19:39.
has been surprising even to those closest to her. I had a strange | :19:40. | :19:45.
dream last night that we were all still fighting for her life, and it | :19:46. | :19:50.
is just crazy that I had that dream last night and she is actually | :19:51. | :19:52.
getting to go home. It is unbelievable. Having won her biggest | :19:53. | :19:56.
battle, Stephanie is still full of unbelievable. Having won her biggest | :19:57. | :20:02.
fight. The goal was always to get back into the normal way of life. | :20:03. | :20:06.
Judo is normal for me and I have done it since I was four. Not being | :20:07. | :20:10.
able to do judo, it would not be my normal life. At the end of the year, | :20:11. | :20:14.
I will look to get back into the sport, doing some training, to get | :20:15. | :20:20.
my life back. She may never win another Commonwealth medal, but | :20:21. | :20:24.
there is one competition she says that she is sure to win. I know you | :20:25. | :20:27.
have been threatening to take on your sister once you get back on | :20:28. | :20:32.
your feet... She is a bit too much. She does my head in. She is going to | :20:33. | :20:41.
get battered on the judo M80. -- judo M80. | :20:42. | :20:45.
It's exactly a week to the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics, | :20:46. | :20:48.
and Scottish athletes are doing all they can to get | :20:49. | :20:50.
And for Marathon runner Callum Hawkins, that means trying | :20:51. | :20:53.
to re-create the kind of climate he'll be running in while in Rio. | :20:54. | :20:57.
Heading to the Rio Olympics but for this apparatus is not just about | :20:58. | :21:06.
being in Pete condition. But also coping with the conditions. We have | :21:07. | :21:15.
looked at the potential conditions but we are trying to sample the | :21:16. | :21:19.
extremes, the committee, and the mountain aspect. Knowing that he has | :21:20. | :21:23.
done this on a number of occasions before the big day is really | :21:24. | :21:27.
important. And he is the best British athlete in the London | :21:28. | :21:35.
Marathon in 2016. He has booked his place in Rio with an impressive | :21:36. | :21:39.
showing in this year's London Marathon, and joins his brother in | :21:40. | :21:44.
an all Scottish marathon squad. They will take in some of Brazil's most | :21:45. | :21:48.
iconic landmarks while competing in the marathon, but under contesting | :21:49. | :21:56.
-- under testing conditions. It is always a very hot in this heat | :21:57. | :21:59.
chamber but it is also very humid. It is just so sticky in here. From | :22:00. | :22:04.
my point of view, I am starting to go already, to put it politely, and | :22:05. | :22:06.
my point of view, I am starting to that is without doing any exercise. | :22:07. | :22:10.
But for Callan, he has been on the treadmill for half an hour. Usually | :22:11. | :22:17.
the humidity is the killer, the slow killer. It is not just | :22:18. | :22:23.
acclimatisation, it is getting used to it mentally and knowing that this | :22:24. | :22:30.
is normal. No panic, and no surprises that when it comes -- no | :22:31. | :22:34.
surprises when it comes to running in Rio. | :22:35. | :22:40.
Not quite so much perspiration around for golfer Catriona Matthew, | :22:41. | :22:43.
but her peparations for the Olympics seem to be going well. | :22:44. | :22:45.
She scored a second round of seven under par at the British | :22:46. | :22:48.
Matthew now two shots behind the leader. | :22:49. | :22:52.
But even at the halfway stage of a Major, Rio | :22:53. | :22:55.
Growing up, I never thought I would be in an Olympics so it has been a | :22:56. | :23:01.
gold mine for the last couple of years to make the team. It will | :23:02. | :23:04.
probably be my only chance, where I am in my career. I was delighted to | :23:05. | :23:07.
make it and I cannot wait to go. I'm going to go down | :23:08. | :23:08.
a few days early to watch some other things. The Olympics next week. I | :23:09. | :23:12.
can't wait. A big gaming festival was being held | :23:13. | :23:21.
in Glasgow this weekend, a chance for gamers across the country to see | :23:22. | :23:23.
the latest releases and battle it out against each other. Our reporter | :23:24. | :23:27.
has been joining in. From first person shooters to the latest in | :23:28. | :23:33.
augmented reality, and even Pokemon that you can touch, what has been | :23:34. | :23:39.
billed as Scotland's first major gaming festival has already | :23:40. | :23:42.
attracted hundreds of gamers from across the country. Forget about the | :23:43. | :23:46.
idea of the loan game are locked away in his bedroom, this festival | :23:47. | :23:49.
is proof that gaming is a massive social event. Everyone is here to | :23:50. | :23:59.
meet each other and join in. We're all friends and Wii game together. | :24:00. | :24:02.
There are not many conventions like in Glasgow. There is no better team | :24:03. | :24:09.
game than football. These guys are playing Fifa 16 for fun. But the | :24:10. | :24:13.
organisers here usually put on these tournaments for big money. We had a | :24:14. | :24:19.
Counterstrike event a few months ago with a $25,000 prize. There is | :24:20. | :24:22.
deftly a lot of money involved if you are the best of the best. We got | :24:23. | :24:29.
loads of money from that! Don't worry, they are not playing for real | :24:30. | :24:32.
money but even the youngest gamers who come here know what they want. I | :24:33. | :24:43.
like Titanfall. Titanfall is a really good game. I like Star Wars | :24:44. | :24:48.
Battlefront. They all have some sort of gun. No guns in Pokemon. Here at | :24:49. | :24:56.
the festival's retro arcade, games from more than 20 years ago are | :24:57. | :25:00.
proving surprisingly popular. It is quite surreal because obviously | :25:01. | :25:04.
these kids have grown up and they have never held one of these | :25:05. | :25:07.
controllers. So they come here and they say, I want to see what Mariel | :25:08. | :25:11.
was like in 1980. And they still walk away learning something about | :25:12. | :25:14.
the origins of gaming. It is wonderful. Far from being a young | :25:15. | :25:20.
person's pursuit, games really can bridge the generational divide. | :25:21. | :25:24.
Let's see what we can expect from the weekend weather. | :25:25. | :25:26.
Good evening. Kind of repetitive weather patterns this weekend but | :25:27. | :25:37.
actually, we have seen some lovely sunshine to end the day. There is a | :25:38. | :25:41.
picture from one of our weather watchers of Arran. Beautiful | :25:42. | :25:45.
sunshine. It looks like the Mediterranean. As far as the ceiling | :25:46. | :25:49.
is concerned, it would be a dry picture for most of us. But we have | :25:50. | :25:53.
a fair number of showers over the north-east, blowing into | :25:54. | :25:59.
Aberdeenshire. We will continue to see showers feeding into the North | :26:00. | :26:03.
West and the Northern Isles. Overnight lows of around 10 Celsius. | :26:04. | :26:10.
It will feel cooler in lowland parts. Low pressure staying with us | :26:11. | :26:13.
for the weekend. Generating a fair amount of showery activity. Also, a | :26:14. | :26:20.
cold air stream. Actually, and this will be the case throughout the | :26:21. | :26:24.
weekend, tomorrow starts on a dry, sunny note. Showers in the North | :26:25. | :26:29.
from first light, and we will see showers developing further south. | :26:30. | :26:32.
But I still think the emphasis will be on dry weather. Good sunny spells | :26:33. | :26:36.
for the south-west as we head into the and also in the likes of entire | :26:37. | :26:46.
and the Hebrides, highs of 18 or 19. Something brighter for mole, towards | :26:47. | :26:51.
the north-west. Symantec as well. Showers for the Western Isles, | :26:52. | :26:59.
feeding into the North West. -- Skye as well. It will feel cool. We will | :27:00. | :27:04.
see showers for Northern Aberdeenshire, brighter spells for | :27:05. | :27:07.
most of us. The emphasis will be on dry weather. If you're heading for | :27:08. | :27:12.
the hills, southern and Eastern ranges, you will see passing showers | :27:13. | :27:18.
that will move through quickly. It will feel cold, but with good | :27:19. | :27:23.
visibility. For Northwestern Rangers, will see frequent showers, | :27:24. | :27:29.
and a strong north-westerly wind coupled with temperatures of five | :27:30. | :27:33.
Celsius. It will feel more like winter than summer. Further south, | :27:34. | :27:37.
fewer showers but it will feel really cool at the top. Still a | :27:38. | :27:41.
number of showers initially in the evening time but it will die away | :27:42. | :27:45.
with some sunshine to end the day. Those showers staying with us in the | :27:46. | :27:50.
north. As we head into Sunday, the same repetitive story with showers | :27:51. | :27:54.
for the north and West. Drier interludes with sunny spells coming | :27:55. | :27:57.
through. On Monday, we do it all again. That is your forecast. | :27:58. | :28:05.
I'll be back with the headlines at 8pm and the late bulletin just | :28:06. | :28:10. |
