The Scottish Liberal Democrat leader, Willie Rennie,

has attacked the SNP and the Conservatives

In an address to his party's conference in Perth,

Mr Rennie said he would stand against both Brexit

While the former party leader Nick Clegg says there shouldn't be a UK

Government against another independence referendum, others have

make clear the Liberal Democrats will not support one. We will try to

start any plans for a second referendum. The government have an

obsession with a second referendum, we aren't having it. In his

conference address, the Scottish leader acknowledged it might happen

Temperatures are widely into double figures, feeling pleasant when we do

see the sunshine. Tomorrow evening, it becomes largely dry across

Scotland, and it stays that way as we head into Monday, although some
