Grand National winner One For Arthur has returned

to his stables in Milnathort, after winning what was

the first Scottish success in the race since 1979.

He was welcomed back by fans, though perhaps not

by the bookmakers, as they lost millions on odds

of 14-1. Brian Mclauchlin reports.

Back home after winning the world's greatest steeplechase.

One For Arthur has very quickly established a very strong fan base.

We wouldn't have expected it, but it is fantastic

for Kinross and putting Kinross on the map.

The team have done an absolutely fantastic job.

It has been a really exciting couple of days,

so I am really happy for everybody involved and good for him.

The race itself went remarkably to plan,

with Arthur taking up the running near the end.

Some say he wasn't meant to win, as he is not the quickest in

the world, but he certainly can jump.

We have tremendous staff and I am hoping they will all be here today

and it is their input that has done it all.

We are very lucky to have a horse like him and he is just outstanding.

He even does being a Grand National winner well.

Trainer Peter Scudamore, himself a champion jockey who never

won the big race, is well aware of what the victory means for such
