Across Scotland right now, Conservatives are united

with people from all walks of life in a great cause -

keeping our UK family together in September's independence referendum.

We are united by a common belief that we all stand taller

when we stand together.

That Scotland stands taller.

In these European elections, we're making that same, simple case,

that a United Kingdom with Scotland at its heart

can better stand up to Brussels,

and can change it for the better, too.

Scotland deserves a better deal from Brussels

for families, for industry, for business.

For the future, what happens over there

affects you guys here in Peterhead.

Absolutely.

We really have got to have people getting good deals for the fishermen

because, without that, we can't make a living.

Our opponents in this election don't believe you should have a say

on our relationship with Europe.

They don't trust the people of Scotland to decide.

Well, I disagree.

Britain's future in the EU should be up to you.

So, a Conservative government will put our relationship to a vote

so that everyone can have their say.

The last time people were given a say on Europe was in the 1970s

before many of today's voters were even born.

I know what I want. I want a strong Scotland

that is part of a UK that will stand up for us in Europe.

I don't see how putting up barriers

between Scotland and the rest of the UK will benefit people like me,

young professionals, young people looking to study here

with further job opportunities.

It just makes sense.

Being part of the UK gives us a chance to be a real force for good.

Not just in Europe, but in the world.

The Scotland that we love, the country that we've built

has been shaped and forged by the alliances that we have made.

As Scots, we helped to bring peace to Europe

and have never been afraid to fight for our country's interests.

I think it is absolutely paramount that we remain as a British Army

and if anything happens, untoward, within the European union,

I think we would have problems.

I think we've got the best Armed Forces in the world.

Which are respected by other nations and therefore they listen to us.

And I think that's a good reason

why the British Armed Forces should not be split up.

So, on the 22nd of May, I'm asking for your support.

Support a strong Scotland in a strong United Kingdom.

Support a better deal from Brussels.

Support the Scottish Conservatives.
