Seeing the devastating effects of Tory cuts,
with a total lack of opposition from Labour, it made me really angry.
And then I thought, why not stand and make a difference locally?
I'm a mother of three young children and I'm standing for Plaid
because I know that Plaid will look after my children's future.
Plaid Cymru is a grassroots movement.
It works tirelessly to ensure a better,
more prosperous future for Wales.
And that's why I and so many young people are standing this year,
because we wholeheartedly believe that Plaid Cymru is the only
party that has always, does always and will always,
put the future of Wales, its people and the next generation
above all else.
I'm standing as a Plaid Cymru candidate,
Plaid Cymru because I feel it's for everyone,
everyone of every age, every background
and, of course, every sex.
I think it's really important that we get a cross-party,
so that every person can be represented fairly.
People are sick and tired of councillors, other parties,
coming into our communities, promising the world,
they get elected but don't do nothing and all that promise
is just evaporated into hot air.
What they need is councillors coming into the community, listening
to the community and actually doing, delivering for the communities.
I'm voting Plaid Cymru on May 4 to protect Gwynedd from the
harsh Tory cuts from the Government and also from the
unsympathetic London Labour Party in Cardiff.
I'm voting Plaid because I feel they're the party that
listens and they're all about inclusivity and diversity.
I've had enough of cuts to public services that mean that they
can barely function. I've had enough of the most vulnerable people
within our community being blamed for these cuts.
I'm standing for Plaid Cymru because I want rural voices to be heard.
In Plaid-led councils, we have a track record of strong and
responsible leadership in very challenging times.
This is my community,
these are my people, and here is where I want to make a difference.
We need to build more affordable and social housing, so that
everybody has the opportunity of a decent home to live in.
I've been a member of Plaid Cymru all my life and I believe
that they are the only party that can look after our services and our communities.
People in my community are fed up with seeing investment
concentrated elsewhere time after time. We deserve our fair share.
Strong local government is essential in counteracting poor
policies being handed down from central government.
Plaid Cymru is your local party.
Plaid Cymru people are your people.
On May 4, send a clear message to the governments in both
London and Cardiff that you will no longer be ignored.
Vote Plaid Cymru.
Let's stand together, let's make our voices heard.
Politicians are not all the same.
Vote Plaid to see the difference.
I believe that Plaid Cymru is the party of strong communities.
Plaid Cymru, your local party.
There is an alternative and it's called Plaid Cymru,
the Party of Wales.
