General Election Party Election Broadcasts: Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party

The general election on June the 8th comes with Scotland at a crossroads.

The SNP wants to use the election to take Scotland back

to another referendum on independence.

Nicola Sturgeon has said it's at the heart of her campaign.

They said, "Once in a generation".

Turns out they meant, "Whenever we say we want one".

The truth is, most people in Scotland have had enough of this.

We want government focused not on yet more division

and more uncertainty,

but on improving schools, sorting out our NHS

and boosting jobs.

So, the question is how best we send the SNP a message.

At this election, it's only by

voting for Ruth Davidson's Scottish Conservatives.

We're going to show them

-that Scotland is not the SNP.

Labour is in a mess and is losing support all over Scotland.

Worse, Jeremy Corbyn has said he's absolutely fine

with a second referendum on independence,

to Nicola Sturgeon's timetable.

So, more and more people are now turning

to Ruth Davidson's Scottish Conservatives

to stand up against the SNP.

I just don't want independence.

I think the Conservative Party is the best way to save the union,

so I'll be voting for the Conservatives, definitely.

She represents the party supporting values

of very hard-working families.

Once we've killed off this second referendum issue,

I think we can move on and start talking about other things

like education and health

and how we're going to move Scotland on as a country.

In the most recent elections, it was the Scottish Conservatives,

not Labour, which took on the SNP and won.

Ruth has shown she has what it takes

to stand up against a second referendum.

So if your priority at this election is to fight back against the SNP,

if you want to send them a message

to say no to a second referendum on independence,

the only party you can trust is the Scottish Conservatives...
