This May, there are elections for the Scottish Parliament.

Scotland needs a strong opposition,

someone to hold the SNP to account

and stand up for a strong Scotland

as part of a strong United Kingdom.

So what about Ruth Davidson's Scottish Conservatives?

You'd be surprised what people think.

The main issue is actually the threat of a one-party state

and I believe that Ruth Davidson and the Scottish Conservatives

have what it takes to actually challenge the SNP.

Things are changing.

In the last few months, both Labour and the Lib Dems have said

they will allow their candidates to back independence if they want.

People have noticed.

I voted Labour all of my adult life and I got kind of disillusioned

with them not making a stand, as such, for Scotland to be in the UK.

I know the likes of Ruth Davidson,

she's making a big stand for it, and I know you can trust her word.

She will stand up for Scotland to remain part of the United Kingdom,

and that's why, from now on,

I'll definitely be voting Scottish Conservative.

And there's another thing.

This year, the Scottish Parliament starts taking power

over the amount of tax you pay

and, all over Scotland, people are looking to the Scottish Conservatives

to stand up for family finances.

Currently, times are tough.

With tax powers being devolved to the Scottish Parliament,

we need a party in Scotland who's going to put family finances first.

That's why I'll be voting for the Scottish Conservatives.

So that's what people are saying.

The Scottish Conservatives are listening.

There are many reasons why people, perhaps for the first time,

are looking at the Scottish Conservatives this May.

For me, it's simple.

Most Scots just want to put

the division of the last few years behind us.

Most people just want the country to get on,

and most workers want to see their pay packets protected

when new tax powers come to Holyrood.

With your support,

we can make this happen.

I'll hold the SNP to account.

I will fight to ensure we're not dragged back to a second referendum,

and I'll work to make sure your family finances are protected.

It's time for the country to find a better way forward for Scotland

and you can achieve this by voting Scottish Conservative.
