Isn't it great that we have a new government

who are so different from the previous lot?

Are you talking about Theresa May, Jeremy Hunt, Boris Johnson?

Er...yes. But they WERE the previous lot, weren't they?

Wasn't Theresa May Home Secretary with the last lot?

Didn't she vote for zero-hours contracts...?

Yes... ..raising VAT... Yes...

..cutting taxes for millionaires and the bedroom tax?

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! But they're totally different now.

They're really concerned about the less well off and the vulnerable.

So they're going to protect the NHS?!

Well, I...I'm sure they will want to do that, yes...

But under them, the waiting list for surgeries have soared.

There's nearly four million waiting now, the highest number ever.

Well, maybe, but the thing is,

isn't it great that they're absolutely opposed to elitism?

Hang on a second. They're trying to bring back the old grammar schools!

What's that if that's not elitist?

Well, um...I think it shows a commitment to education.

But aren't they the ones who put student fees up through the roof?

They do still have some Conservative values, like, er...like...

like being tough on crime! That has to be a good thing, doesn't it?

Oh, come on! They were the ones who cut police funding.

We've got 18,000 less police officers because of them.

Yes, but we need someone to be tough with the economy

in these difficult times, don't we?

Sure we do. So are they going to get the bankers

that caused the economic crash to do their bit?

That's just what I thought - more misery for

the ordinary people and the bankers get off scot-free.

Well, you have to realise, things are difficult, what with Brexit.

Which they had no plans for,

and they still seem to have no plans for.

How are they going to protect the people from the effects of Brexit?

Well...I don't know. But, like I say, they've changed.

They're quite different now. I can't believe you people can't see it.

I mean, you elected them!

But Theresa May's government weren't elected -

it was a committee of Tories who put them there.

Oh, I give up. I mean, don't you want something different?

Yeah, we do - something REALLY different, not just lip service.

Real change needs real commitment to doing things differently.

and making sure everyone is cared for and protected.
