-is Dyro Inni Weld O'r Newydd.

-This next hymn tune might not

-be familiar to some - Slane...

-..but it's an Irish melody.

-It was arranged by Eric Routley.

-"Lord of all hopefulness"

-are the English words.

-The late D Eirwyn Morgan

-translated the hymn to Welsh.

-It's a wonderful translation.

-The end of each verse

-mentions different times of the day.

-Take note.

-"Llawenydd i'n calon

-ar doriad y dydd."

-The second verse, "Gyda nerth

-i'n calonnau ar ganol y dydd."

-Then, "Daeth cariad i'n calon

-cyn diwedd y dydd."

-Finally, "Tangnefedd ein calon

-ar derfyn y dydd."

-It's a free flowing melody.
