Day 2 Darts: World Championships - Extra

Hello and welcome to the second instalment of Darts Extra. The late

night review of some of the day's best action here at the BDO World

Championship. We're starting in the first match with Gary Robson in the

13th year here at Lakeside. Would it be unlucky for him against Ron

Mulencamp. Your commentary team now. He's already upped the oche and

gone. I think he's rushing it a bit there, don't you? Well, he's playing

much more quickly than he was when he first came to the oche in the

first couple of legs. Understandable that it would play on his mind.

Eight successive darts at doubles missed, which would have given him

the first set. Of course, all he's got to do here is hold and he has

the first set anyway. Yes, 2-2. It's the sets that count.

Just the advantage of the throw there.

Rob is going to be shook here. Oh, yes, what a difference to the leg

that makes. No answer. 143 for Meulenkamp for the first set. Treble

20. Treble 17. Single 2 instead. Was that aim in there. He's smiling away

there. Trying to coax him to move it for him. Putting to the treble.

Still chances in on 246. 16 double top if he wants. It's

double top. That's below. So, chances here.

Treble 20. Can't finish now. Double 10. For the first set. 10-set

darts so far. And the first set goes to Ron

Meulenkamp. That's the first building block for

the Dutchman who failed to take a single set on his previous

appearance on the Lakeside stage when he lost to Gary Stone a couple

of years ago. And look at this - the averages. Exactly the same prior to

this visit to the board. It's unbelievable, that! Of course, this

game is... He wasn't expecting it. Expecting to really go to town, but

Meulenkamp - give him credit. He's all in the zone.

I'd like to see this one go all the way. I think there's not long

looking at the scoreline there. It's been like that all the way through!

The first two darts - one either side of the bed. Massive gap for him

to hit in the middle, which he obliged.

Well, he had the darts in that leg, Robbo!

No-one has been able to rob the darts at the moment. Batman and

Robbo here at the Lakeside this afternoon.

I'll give you the laugh! I think you're in the minority. All six legs

so far have gone with the darts. Yeah, just dropping short at the

moment there, getting over the wire at the bottom. If you notice how he

pulls his hand downwards. Straight through. Makes a divinchs! And this

is the difference. -- difference. Crucial treble with the last dart

but this is a chance here for Gary. Didn't get it that first start

again. Just dropping a shade low. Two treble 20s. Robbo is coming back

for 6. And what happens with that dart? Robbo is in.

Oh, he's missed it, that was 18. That would have given him the

finish, double 16. Looking at the bull or the 19s here.

Chose the southerly route. But missed the single 19, as you can

see. He got a 3. The treble 20 here will leave him double 16.

He's missed that as well. So Robert will be back. Three darts at double

16. Take a leg against the throw. And a 2-0 lead in this. Can't afford

to miss this finish now. Trailing by one leg.

Double 8, he sneaks it in around the corner. There they go - the crowd

applaud. So Gary with the break. Still a set

that you would expect him to win. He started with the darts.

Meulenkamp's biggest win came when he was a 17-year-old. He won the

French Open back in 2006 and that remains his only ranking title. He

only looks 16 at the moment. He really has a baby face, what we

call, anyway. I don't know what they call it in Holland! Chubby!

Yeah, that's blocked the bed. Done the right thing and gone for 19s.

But Robbo in the driving seat in this set to get one each in the

sets. Got some good entertainment over the

weekend. Some fantastic games. More seeds out than that of a garden

centre. Well, elg needs this to save the

second set. Look at 20s now. Going for two

double 20s and got two singles, but he'll be back for a shot at double

top if he can't take out 106 here. Good start for him.

Double 18. What a finish and what a six for

Gary Robson. A third successive leg. His biggest checkout so far and he's

tidied up at one set a piece. Deserves all the applause he got

there. Yes. This is his 13th BDO World

championship: It's 14 lucky for him. Not just that, it's his 12th

consecutive year here. When you consider that he hasn't been seeded

that many times. So he's had to qualify year hfr after-year. Some

achievement. He's a great player, like I said, there's great players

from Northumberland. But it's all on the day, you know, how you feel and

when you keep going through. But when you've had 12 chances at it,

you feel that it is never going to happen. But this year, I think that

it really could happen. A great guy. I know him very well. Dumb struck,

Holland? Certainly had his moments in the

past. Three quarterfinals and then all three of them, he lost in a

deciding set. Probably the biggest heartbreak for him in 2011 when he

was beaten 5-4 by Martin Philips having led 3-1 in that quarterfinal.

Yeah, left-hander Philips. The Welshman! OK, good finish.

Well now there Meulenkamp, nervous with that opportunity. Yes, that's

good. Double 16 is the shot. Oh, unlucky. So unlucky. A shade

away from a 146. 18 leaves double 16 now. And another

break and he's taken it. Our legs in a row. Meulenkamp had his chance. So

did Robbo and he took it. Oh, this is good. Good for Robbo but

I tell you, I think there's a long way to go. That's the double that

took it. Again, little to choose between the

two players in terms of the scoring. Meulenkamp had his chance. Robbo

took it. Same in the first leg. Makes for good entertainment,

though, that's the main thing. You can see Gary's accuracy, almost

twice that of Meulenkamp. And it's the Lakeside that provides it. All

comfortable there, whole families and children. It's magic.

He was very talented as a youngster, Ron Meulenkamp. I mentioned that he

won the French Open when he was a 17-year-old and also the winner of

the junior World Darts Championship. Big man, big finish! Another one of

those would help! But it means that Meulenkamp...

They'll have to do that. Another one of those. Yes, he wants the bull

now. Oh, he's nodding his head in the background there. Oh, Jim! Close

to a 16 had. Double 18 there. E. -- a 164 there. And another single dart

at a double there. He's hit his last four in a row there. Five legs in a

row there for Gary. Ron Meulenkamp had an excellent

start but since then, the bomb has begin off. -- gone off. Yes, it's a

bouncing bomb, isn't it, this one. So this man here, it's bouncing.

Just a reminder that each set is the first to three legs and the match is

in this first round stage are the best of five sets. First of three

sets. Yeah, very short discipline. Really is!

Nice shot there in the Lakeside. Not one for Robbo, though.

Pet ra biting her nails. Do you think that's what it was,

ultimately? She looked petrified! Trying to remain impassive now. OK,

Gary, take it away. Two trebles is wanted. 160 coming in for

Meulenkamp. Two treble 20s needed to start with. He can't finish now so

Robbo coming back and looking at # 0 to take a 2-set to one lead. Having

lost the first set, can he take the lead in the match for the first

tile. Double 9. Yes! Great adjustment from

Gary Robson. Takes out the 70. Six legs in a row. And he's turning it

around. He took off like a Boeing jet! Oh, yes. This is fun, this is

great for Robbo. Fourth set, first leg. It's Gary to throw first. Game

on! Great finishing from Gary Robson after some nervy darts at doubles in

the first set. His finishing has been good and had the 106 checkout

in the last leg of the second set. And he hit a double 18 at the time

of asking and in that third set, he only had three darts at doubles. Hit

them all. Wins the set. Leads 2-1. Yes, and it's been doubles over the

years that's let him down. Otherwise I'm sure that there would have been

a couple of finals here. 13 years he's been endeavouring to reach the

top. Is this his year? That's the big question that's going to be

asked now. As you can see, so far, he hasn't

lost a single leg when he's had the darts. This one going the same way

at the moment. Not on a finish, though. 165! It's

not a great shot. Well, putting it closer is Petra

rubbing her hands. That will do, that's enough. 43, 122

is a good finish. Gone way back. Surely needs two

trebles here. Thought about the treble 19.

See which way they go. May go for 18s. I don't know how he's gone

there in between. It went for treble 18 there.

For a seventh successive leg. I think that he when for the bull. He

leaves himself 58 but here is a chance for him against the darts.

20. Double top, come on, sunshine! Yes. He deserves that, definitely.

It's only the second time he's hit a double in 14 attempts. Too good a

player to be missing those. What a talent he's got.

I've seen that on a police car, but not in the Lakeside.

He's losing control at the moment. He's getting through to him, I

think. He's got no breathing space. Well, he had the break and an

opportunity for Robert to break back straight away. 130 ahead after six

darts each. So, it's going ahead. Another treble

20 would be welcome. He obliges. And there we are - 143 to finish. 319

for Meulenkamp. Oh, dear, it's great this one. Big

chance for Robbo. Particularly if he can hit the treble with the third

dart. He can't. The pressure on 139 here for Ron Meulenkamp. Hits the

treble 19. Options here. Double top from 139.

Great darts for Ron Meulenkamp. It's pandemonium here. Oh, what a finish.

The young against the old. There it is. What a beauty. OK. Don't say -

are you going to let this one loose now, Robbo? Oh, is it getting

through to him? Keep your head up high. You've got

to give it to him, this youngster. There's been real ebb and flow when

you see that which costs you two sets, you'll be suffering from meant

and disintegration. Great response in this fourth set from Ron

Meulenkamp. There he goes again. And he looks so comfortable.

He's back in there, and again. And again, another maximum. What a fight

back this is. Applause everywhere. What a match! His going for maximum.

Can't finish from here, but it won't matter for now. He'll be back for

80. And might even have six darts at 80. And each trebles, the fourth set

has gone quickly for him. Yes, they're standing and

applauding. Is it going to be another one against the head for

Robbo? Well, the laths time that these two

met, Ron Meulenkamp was victorious - that was in the semifinals of the

Belgian Open back in 2011. The first time that they met a couple of years

before that, Gary whitewashed his young Dutch opponent. And this one

going right to the wire. The trouble is what's going through Robbo's

head? You know, to be in this position before. But he's really

come good, is Meulenkamp in the latter stages. You can't take it

away from him. The two tonnes. Having a whip around the board

there. Is this destined to be Robbo's

eighth third round defeat here at the Lakeside? Well, with a score

like that, Jim, not at this stage at the moment. 166 is not an out shot.

But a couple of three bad darts here... There we go. Can't finish on

166. Got over that one. That was a good

dart to get over the top of the first one. Oh, and another treble!

Left 32 double 16. Against the darts, he's on a 13-darter. So, can

he follow up? Ton, ton. 135, 134. Double 16 for a 13-darter and a leg

against the darts in the decisive set? No problem at all. The momentum

swings back the way of the man. Big Robbo just needs to hold twice. And

he's through. He's back in there. Right back in there. He's got a

second win. And he's sailing now. This kid is still hanging on and

he's back in to it as well. One to relish, this one.

Very little to choose between the two men and the scoring. . Oh, it's

brilliant. I haven't sat down yet. Just proof of next to nothing

between the two men with the averages there. A quarter of a point

at this stage of the game. Unbelievable!

Oh, dear, this match is really turning this place around. Could

have got another throw in there at least. All in the corner. For an

instant break back. 16 for double top. Oh, no! Come on Gary. Treble

20. Go to 83. Double 16. They're waiting for it and they've got it!

They've get it! Oh! What a leg of darts that was. Ashs brilliance from

both players. But Robbo takes it. Listen to them going mad. Here we

are. And it's not over yet. A massive missed dart at double top

for Ron Meulenkamp. And it looked as though he wouldn't be punished and

Gary Robson takes out 143. Right, OK, let's set tl down now. He's back

again. This is great, Jim, isn't it? He's not going down without a fight.

Great character from the young Dutchman, but it is Robbo who is a

leg away. It's got the angel of the north on

the shirt. I bet she was dancing for delight when that one went in.

But still - Ron not giving up the ghost. What is it? Is it 140 and two

tonnes in the nine darts. Treble 20. So... He'll be coming

back with that. A good score, I hope.

The finish for Gary. Can he set up himself a decent finish if he fails

to take out 104. And the second dart helps.

He might need this to stay alive. Treble 16 will be the next target.

Double top for a big 104 to stay in the match. Some way away if the

truth be told. He might be on the wrong end of the Shanghai Surprise

here. It's Shanghai! Double top for the match! Oh! Yes.

At last! He's overcome it! Who do? You do! He does! Absolute

brilliance. Oh, Jim. Was that not a match and a half! Magnificent play

from Gary Robson. 143 and 120 checkouts in the last two legs.

Meulenkamp missed darts to win both of them. And Robbo has punished him

and finishing brilliant. The first round hoodoo is over. He's through.

Now to a preliminary round that really was the old and the new. Mike

Day travelled from New Zealand and in the process, set a record

becoming the oldest player to appear here at the Lakeside at the tender

age of 58. His opponent, Sam Head, a mere 20 from Hampshire. Let's see

who had the upper hand! Mike Day qualified for Lakeside as

top-ranked players on the BDO's newly-established New Zealand

Regional Rankings Table. He won the 2013 Canterbury Open and he is the

fourth New Zealander to appear in the BDO World Championships

following Murray Smith, Gordon Allpress and Peter Hunt, who reached

the second round in 1995. Yes, I remember Peter very well. Very good

player. Peter Hunt in fact came here in 1993 and 1995. And then in 2003

and 2004. Four visits and one match won! Right

in the corner - how did that get in there?

OK! Shanghai! This is for the set. Treble! Or hit the barrel!

He'll be back for double top. That's for the set. Sam Head's scoring has

deserted him. I think that he's just releasing them too quick. Ever since

the 142 connectout in the second leg, he hasn't had a shot at a

double. This is for the set. That's a great marker. So is that!

That's Mike's wife, Wendy, looking on and praying for a double 10. Yes!

She says. Yes! He missed 13 darts at a double in

that set did Mike Day, but he won it. That was against the darts.

You may recognise Jim Sturgess talking to Bobby and Marie George.

Actor in 21 and One Day on the left, also appears with Bobby playing a

darts player in a film called London Fields, I'm told. Bobby and Jim have

become firm pals. Welcome to the darts, Jim!

So many loose darts for this young lad. He wants to settle it down a

bit. Rushing away! It's suiting Mike.

Well, the story of the match as Mike eyes up 141 was Sam Head started so

well. Missed seven darts and a double in the first leg before

winning it. Nicked the second with a 142 checkout and since then, he's

been nowhere. Treble 20 and bull's-eye.

That is four legs in a row for Mike Day. He's not been put under much

pressure at the moment, is he, tony? No, it's not his day. It's all going

Mike's way. Mind you, he's not as erratic as Sam Head.

It will be starting to enjoy himself up there. Good scores here with

another 140. So 174, 140. And a 187 after six darts.

What a good leg for there for the lad from New Zealand. 87 left. Nine

darts thrown. Looking at an 11-dart finish. Let's see if he can do it.

He has missed, would you believe it. 16 darts at a double for Mike Day.

But he's won five legs in a row. He's getting the odd treble, isn't

he, Sam Head? But he needs the ton 40. He needs a 180, you feel, to get

hill going. Head could get three in a bed. That might set him off. Well,

like I say, 20 years of age. He would be head strong. He was ahead

early. This is better. Just the one again in the treble. You see there

just two 140 pluses compared to seven from Mike Day. Yes, and Mike

is running away with it, isn't he? Not much time now for Sam Head to

turn this around if he's going to. 164 is a finish and he will have a

crack at it. He's already done 142, remember.

OK, he needs the treble. So Mike will be coming back for 76.

Here we go - treble 20! Double 8. Oh, where is that gone? Out of the

room, maybe! Treble 16 would leave him double 8. Top he needs. Oh, yes!

He stopped the rot. He lost five legs in a row. But that was

emphatic. I'm warming to Mike here. He's

scoring well. He's scoring as well as he needs to, certainly.

So now a chance for Mike to get back into the 60s. Nice and steady.

That's the way. There's his wife supporting him. He has lost the

advantage of throwing first, Sam Head. That's in the treble. As the

match has gone on, he's got better. He has got a finish on 116. Treble

leaves double 18. Double 18. OK, Sam. Can you do it? He wants double

top. Double nine. Yes, he has done it. Well, Mike Day. It's been a long

journey but it's looking good at the moment. 2-0 to Mike day. -- Day. 20

missed doubles for Mike Day. It hasn't cost him.

That might. Neither player will be particularly pleased with their

checkout percentages. 23% for Day, 27% for Head. But Mike Day will be

pleased with the position he's in, that's for sure. Three legs away

from the next round. Keeps getting the treble 20 even with one dart.

Glen Durrant awaits in the first round proper. Sam Head in fact lost

4-1 to Glenn in the semifinals of the Jersey open in 2012. As far as I

know, Mike and Glenn have never previously played. It is a good

start. On another day you would have done, not falling for him. Still, he

is down to a finish first and he has got six darts from 144 if he wants

them. Treble 20. 64 left. No doubt shot

for Day. -- no out. Double 16. Double eight. Yes. He

needed that. Head moves ahead in the no room for error. 2-0 down in a

race to three. He reached the last 16 of the win

more world Masters on his television debut, beating Tony Eccles before

losing to Phil Mickelson. But his best performance, Sam Head, do date,

at a ranking event came in Jersey where he reached the semifinals,

losing, as I say, to Glen Durrant. The eventual champion. He is not

living up to his standards here tonight.

It is all a little bit laboured, isn't it? From both players. Yes. We

have got Mike, he's just playing his game, and he's slowly getting there

will stop a few tons here and there. He will be on a finish. 107. So no

out shot here. a chance. 47. Double 16. And he has got it. .

In amongst all this we have seen some pretty tasty finishing. A 142

from Sam Head, and a 107 just them from Mike Day. And a good start

here, a 140. -- just then. Unlucky, touched the flight and fell onto the

floor. He is there again. Lovely darts. He

is there again. Another 140. Sam so often has been

falling short with his first start. He is on the finish -- first dart.

Treble 20. AT scored. 61 left. -- 80 scored. He is on for a 13 dart leg.

That is pretty good wherever you come from. What a leg. Double eight

is the shot to finish. This might hurt a little bit. He needs tops.

Oh, yes. Mike Day had the chance for a 13 dart leg. He misses three darts

for a double. He is a very lucky lad. Sam Head responds. He hasn't

seen this score yet. 140 from Mike Day. Just a few 140s. 12 of them in

fact 11 and a 171. That's the difference between these

two players. The heavier scoring from Mike Day. We haven't seen a

maximum in this match yet. Haven't really looked like seeing one, have

we? I don't know, they have all been around the treble is on Day's

throw. Here we go. -- trebles. They must be listening to us. Just in

case they are, give us a 9-darter, would you? That would get us going.

This is for the set. Treble 20 four double 12. It can't be done. -- for

double 12. This is Day -- Mrs Day, very pensive.

He needs tops for the set. That could hurt. Let's have a look,

Wendy. Must hold here all the match in is

here. -- all the match. He hit three trebles, but only one

of them was the one that he was aiming for. A chance for Mike Day if

he could shove in a 121. Yes, good recovery. Very good recovery.

Short again with those first two darts there's the opportunity, get

another one. Now he is under pressure.

Decent darts. Will they be good enough? There is one. Plenty of

room. On a finish, 151. This is for the match. Can't do it now. He got

the one off. He wants the bull's-eye for the match. Unlucky. What a

moment for Sam Head. 16 for double 16. Eight would have left tops. Oh,

no, no. This is Mike Day for the match. 88. Two darts at it and he

needs just one -- double eight. The oldest player ever to grace the

stage becomes the oldest player ever to win on this stage. Mike Day beats

Sam Head and reaches the first round proper. The influx of quality

players from the Netherlands this year produced not just one but two

all Dutch derbies in the first round for the men's draw. Van Aydin was up

against Hough struck. This has been some time in coming.

Two Dutch men, close pairs and World Cup partners. Neither have been here

for a good while. When they return, they end up playing each other.

He reckons that this one is going all the way. Two excellent finishes.

Sometimes their scoring leaves a little to be desired, but... Stand

by for a long one, folks. Sounds a lit like Hiroaki scoring not the

best. But the finishing was deadly. So twhees, the WDF World Cup pairs

partners. Van Eijden and Hofstra. Remco Van Eijden from just north of

Amsterdam. Van Eijden is the first to a finish.

Some way to return, wouldn't it be - 157. It can't be done now.

So 100 for Remco to hold this first leg. He needed that treble 19.

Double 14! Just the single. So an opening here for Rick Hofstra in the

first leg. So, which way is it going to go? Go first? Yes. So nine for

double 16. Double 16 for the first leg of the match! And that's what we

meant about the finishing. I think they wanted Rick Hofstra to

win this game! They've gone quite early, haven't they! Early

excitement in the Hofstra camp! There's the support. The shirts in

there as well. What will they do if he actually wins the match? That was

just the first leg. As the Friesland flag with the red hearts on the blue

and white stripes. Remco's last appearance here in 2008

when he beat Mario Rober in the first round and then lost to Scott

Waites in the second and hasn't been back here since being just the

fourth lakeside player to leave it and then come back. And he was

saying - yeah, it's far from ideal the fact that he's drawn against his

playing partner. They're good mates but they won't be God mates up on

that stage. But a chance to break here for Rick. Double 18 he needs!

What a good start he's made. 91 in the first leg. Takes out 66

with two darts in the second. Everything is going Rick Hofstra's

way up to this point. Remco's appearance was back in 2009

and he lost to Tony Eccles in the first round. In the preliminaries,

he played Anastasia Dobromslova who he beat 5-3.

There's Wilma and Naomi, wife and daughter. They're there in the

Hofstra camp! Speaking of Dutch darts, of course,

Wilma should be Barney Rubble's wife, shouldn't she? Former World

Champion Raymond long since departed for the PDC. Hofstra first to a

finish here again. He's got up to six darts if he wants

them. He'll need them. He's trying to put as much pressure

as he can and he's taken a 78 out. But a loose dart will frustrate him.

Both of the players on 85 but Rick with the first to have a crack at

it. This for the set. Treble 18 leaves double 12 now. So big 20.

Remco, you require 85. The bull is one way to go. You went the treble

15 way. So 20 for the bull's-eye. Oh, not far away. Set point for Rick

Hofstra. He hasn't missed a double so far.

Sneaks the third one in! Double top for Rick Hofstra. And the first set

in double quick time. The 19 there. Hasn't had anything go his way so

far, Remco Van Eijden. Good mates and pairs partners but

very different darts. Remco's look almost an eemic. But

the other is much more traditional. He's gone for the supermodeling

equivalent of the tungsten world, hasn't he!

Will be hoping to get through the match without any controversy. When

he made his Lakeside debut continue years ago, the first game against

Mervyn King. But a match that Mervyn complained that the oche wasn't the

correct length and there was a hiatus. And it just got jed out by

Tony West by 3-2 the following year. And he's made a fantastic start

here. 118 for the fourth leg in a row and

his return to Lakeside. Double 19 he needs.

I think we know what that meant. Who do you think wears the troulsers in

the Hofstra household? Yeah, I'm going for Wilma as well.

The finishing has been brilliant so far. Wilma just took a moment to

enjoy the double 19 and then she was straight back telling him what to

do. Well, whatever she said is working.

Won the first set against the darts, a hold from 118. And the first leg

of this second set. Can he be first to a finish here?

Rick, you require 161. That's a very deliberate style. Two decent

checkouts already. The highest of the week so far if he gets it. Not

to be this time. A chance for Remco to win his first

leg. Outside chance, though, you have to say. Because he only had two

darts and a double so far. Treble would have left double nine but he

needs the bull. Oh, unlucky! Unlucky. And missed the bull in the

third leg of the set and missed it again. And another chance for

Hofstra. 16 for double 16. So double 16 there. He's just not missing it.

Brilliant finishing from Rick Hofstra. He's won all five legs so

far. And if he holds here, he's taken a 2-set to 0 lead.

Remco hasn't had many darts at a double but the three that he had, he

missed. Look at that from Rick Hofstra. Five out of seven. We knew

that he was a good finisher but that's better than good. That's

exceptional. And he face an unseeded opponent in round two if he gets

through. That's Martin Atkins who plays the winner of this one.

It's as close as Remco has come. Four visits to the oche in this leg.

Three of them have been a bit loose for Rick and Remco tried to

capitalise and tried to lever himself back in to the game. Well,

here you've been thinking that even a big 20 leaves a Shanghai, 120.

That's alright and a treble would have left him 80. A single one, 139.

He's opened the door again. For his good mate, Rick.

Could do with a treble. Nicely done! So he hasn't been under pressure

with many of the finishes. Here's some pressure! 19 and bull's-eye.

That's for the set! And that is quite brilliant from Rick Hofstra. A

little mini celebration. Blistering darts here from Rick Hofstra. Six

legs played. Six legs won. And all six legs he's had a chance to throw

for the double. And he's hit it in that visit. There's only two misses

at double top but he hit with the third dart and he had that.

Of course, we should have known about this because Jacques did tell

us that this was going to be a tight match - nothing between these two.

Great start again from Rick Hofstra. He's won six legs in a row.

The high scoring tells the story for Rick Hofstra. Everything going his

way so far. First leg of the first set he took out at 91. Hit a double

18 nervelessly in the second and then double top to win that set

without reply. And then in the second set, he had a 118 checkout

A 19 Rob Englishwoman had a great opportunity to secure her first

had no reason not to. I was watching a practice a few hours ago, and she

appeared to be in the zone. She was not talking to anyone, just

calmly practising. A lot of hustle and bustle around her. TV people
