comfortable up there on the big stage, a second successive

semi-final. Direct it was a tough match, had Dennis opened out hugely

on me but I just hung in there and battled back and tried to survive.

How did you change things around when you are too is -- 2-0 down? He

was so on fire, there was nothing I could do, but I couldn't get him out

of the way either. I like to play a quick pace, came back after the

second set, my friend Darren came in, told me to slow down and that's

what I did and it worked in the end. You really do seem to be getting to

grips with the whole atmosphere here in the crowd have been charting your

name. That is a mark of respect for a Canadian here in Surrey. I love

the people here, they have been so supportive. It is amazing to be up

shy of having a night out. Then there is Dennis Harbour, what a good

tournament he has had. That is outstanding for Aileen de Graaf.

Leaving her on 68, Trina Gulliver had her under some sort of pressure

here but she has just faded. She could do with another. 65, she has

scored, so she is on 155. Mail at the come down the board. Possibly

Gulliver, she has had to 100 plus checkouts. Nothing as big as 146

though. It is a good set up, really good set up. Fabulous starts. There

going to win this match, this might be an absolutely imperative check

out. Trina Gulliver checks out and is one leg away from a place in the

final. That reaction is well from Aileen de Graaf, a shake of the

Trina Gulliver has got it. The most famous player in the history of the

women's game at the age of 46 has been one of the new generation,

Aileen de Graaf. Playing some of the best darts for a long, long time.

And a very, very popular winner. She is loved by the darting fraternity

and she has taken this and is into the final with a two sets to one

victory. Well, whatever happens tomorrow, it will be emotional. To

see Trina Gulliver win a 10th world title would be amazing to see her

opponent when her first would also be great. So, back to the men's

quarter-final today and on the BBC this afternoon, we watched Jamie

Hughes finally find a better gear. He was averaging 105 in the first to

make sets against twice semifinalist Wesley Harms. He won his

quarter-final in quite fine style, 5-1. Now onto, on paper, the tie of

the quarter-finals but could it live up to expectations? In a word, yes.

We join it at Forsett Saul and one ladle. COMMENTATOR: I am exhausted,

and no idea how they are doing it. Heaps of tension, brilliant

entertainment at Lakeside. Scott Waites. The Huddersfield man against

the pride of Middlesbrough, Glenn Durrant. Still, they are just locked

was an outstanding game of darts. Rich in drama and he has beaten Glen

Durrant and the number one seed is out. Scott Waites marches on.

Scott, absolutely amazing, you did it again, three -0 last night and

from 3-1 down you are in the semifinals. Habit is that? What a

game of darts. That were fantastic. I don't know, I am so mentally

drained now, I am physically knackered. I can confirm it was

absolutely amazing to watch. A word for Glen Durrant though, he was

absolutely inconsolable at the end, he gave that everything but you just

punished him. He has been the best dart player in the DDR all year by

quite a long way and have always said, I could compete with Glen

Durrant, then I could compete with any player in the world on their

back on a need to prove it and now I am getting back to how I used to

play before I had the operation and it goes to show the date I can still

compete with them all. You certainly can. Now, you know what it takes to

win this title, are you in the kind of form and do you believe that you

can win this again? Well, I have not been beaten yet. Let's see somebody

beats me. I have two more games and if I don't get bitten that I will be
