Day 1 Darts: World Championships

It is the Lakeside in January for the World Darts. We only started a

couple of hours ago and already three hearts have been broken by --

have been broken. Tony O'Shea was knocked out last year but has gone

through today. What an end for the debutante Gary Stone. It was the

Dutchman Meulenkamp who was the seed. Gary Stone was the winner

easy. First rows are never easy games. None of us like playing them

but we have got to do it. But the result is absolutely brilliant.

so but mentally I take one game at a time. I never try to go beyond

the first game because as my record tells you, if I have only got past

the first round once. I think about one game only and consider the next
