the last three times you have lost? I have started using hypnotherapy.

I know Tony O'Shea used this guy from Belfast last year, Steve

McKibben, and I contact -- contacted him last year and said, I

need to break down the barriers in my head, and I have been working

with him on and off this year and it has been brilliant. So that has

made the difference? Mentally, yeah. I know it sounds a bit daft, using

a hypnotherapist, it is a CD we listen to when we are feeling a bit

doubtful about ourselves. I think it helped, yeah. Great scenes at

the end when you put your head on the board. He was so emotional.

What a moment for you to share with your family. We tried to do the

darts as a family. Both my kids play as well. We are playing for

darts all the time. They understand what I am going through now they

play. My family, friends and sponsors particularly, because they

could have easily dropped me after a couple of failures here, it was

just relief. We finally made it. One thing we should not forget is

that you are self-employed. When you are playing darts, you are

losing income, so the sacrifice you make to stay in the sport affects

every element of your life. Most definitely. A lot of the guys say,

they can't get the time off work. Every time I have a day off to

travel on this circuit is unpaid. But the sponsors believe in me and

I believe in me, and I do, so I believe I can still keep the roof

above my head by doing both. have got the monkey off your back

now but there is that not so small matter of Robbie Green. You! Kong,

a big a monkey on my back! We are good friends. We are both Liverpool

fans. I am sure we will have a good time. Do you think you will be more

relaxed now you have the first win under your belt. Most definitely.

Nobody is expecting me to win. It is like a free ride and enjoy

People are shocked sometimes when they see me. He is quiet, he

fear it you more on the dartboard. I have always said that. I know I'm

capable of winning the tournament. I love it when you're music comes

up on the walk on. You must be a man who likes his music. Spending

your younger days out on the tiles! I have to get rid of my belly,

dancing to that. He might be the skinniest man left in the game!
