soon in qualifying. Michael Schumacher's car shared a wheel as

he left the pit lane, leaving him with no control as he smashed into

the barriers. There is no reason to blame anybody. We all try our best

and we are all humans. Paul Di Resta was also left as a spectator

and not a happy one. The team chose to bring me in and said that we

were safe and we should box. I got back to the pit stop and they told

me that somebody was quicker. They called me back to the pit. I am not

aware of the situation, I just do what I am ordered. Adrian Sutil

made the smallest of errors, with the biggest of consequences. Debris

on the track saw the red flag come out, but with only six minutes on

the clock, there was everything to play for. Jenson Button got his

timing is wrong and was the next big name to fall.

penalty and reprimanded Lewis Hamilton. He managed to put his car

in second place on the grid for the third qualifier. Fernando Alonso

could only manage 8th behind the Renault of Bruno Senna. Oh it was

really good and we were really happy. I was expecting top 10 in

qualifying. The conditions helped a lot. I was pushing very hard and I

managed to do the lap faster than one it was drier. Another driver

that was smiling was Jaime Alguersuari. I am happy for my team.

I am happy to bring the points home and to carry on fighting in the

championship. The track dried out quickly as the cars went round and

pole position was traded between the usual suspects. Mark Webber was

kept off the front row of the grid by Lewis Hamilton and his team-mate

Sebastian Vettel managed his 9th pole position of the season. I am

very pleased. In the years before I messed up. I was not really happy

after qualifying. Today, the lap came together well with no mistakes

and everything was right. Sebastian Vettel detained at Spa to get the

top spot. There is Hamilton was alongside with Mark Webber looking

for his first win of the year in third. Jaime Alguersuari got a

career-best 6th place. Sergio Perez has never started so high in the

grid in 9th. Jenson Button will be hoping for rain. He starts in 13th

with Barrichello alongside. Pastor Maldonado's 5 place penalty meant

that he started 21st. Of the 20th anniversary of his debut in Formula

One, Michael Schumacher props up the grid. They have put on a

different engine mapping to spend those rear wheels up and get a

maximum temperature into the rear tyres. Ready to launch their 640

kilogram cars plus fuel. We have a lot of smoke going on. I think that

is the Mercedes. The drivers have made the way through the valleys to

the harder earned grids lots. It is narrow and short on the pit

straight. Five lights and then the hairpin awaits the Grand Prix.

Under way. Sebastian Vettel gets away well. Mark Webber just did not

get going again. Felipe Massa into second place now. Contact behind.

That is a Toro Rosso. I think the two Lotus has got together. The

second Ferrari of Fernando Alonso coming back onto the track from the

run-off area. Sebastian Vettel leads from the immensely fast start.

Nico Rosberg and Ben Lewis Hamilton. Lots of contact that the first

corner. We have to see the replay. That is Nico Rosberg going around

the outside of Sebastian Vettel in to turn one. Nico Rosberg takes the

lead in the Grand Prix with amazing straight-line speed. What bravery

from him in the first few corners. Looking to lead. Jenson Button is

up to 12th place on the grid. Mark Webber is between the Saubers. He

is in 8th place. As he did last year, and absolutely dismal start

for Mark Webber. Felipe Massa ahead of followers Hamilton. Yellow flags

out, presumably in the first corner. I will give you a quick run-down.

Nico Rosberg leads, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Mark Webber

in eight. Jaime Alguersuari got that broken track run at the first

corner and the broken front wing. Michael Schumacher already up to

15th from the 24th grid slot. He manages to stay clear of the

trouble. Some very good starts. Bruno Senna dropping down to No. 14.

Lewis Hamilton is defending from Fernando Alonso, I think. Fernando

Alonso on the attack. Felipe Massa Barrichello. The HRT team in 17th.

Fernando Alonso is so much faster. He steams past the McLaren. There

has Hamilton fancies looking back. Fernando Alonso defence well. No

DRS at this point of the Grand Prix. The speed that he has. It looked

like he had deployed DRS and the car was going 15 kilometres per

hour faster. A new nose fitted there after that contact. Not a

great start to the Grand Prix for him. There was so much contact at

turn one. Cava Linehan has pitted and well. -- Heikki Kovalainen.

Felipe Massa is hanging on very well. That bodes well. Fernando

Alonso is past Lewis Hamilton. Lewis Hamilton down to 5th place.

Sebastien Buemi looks next up after Lewis Hamilton. The yellow flags

are out. Alguersuari returns the car. This might not be bad for

Sebastian Vettel, to be held to that slower pace behind Nico

Rosberg. Any fear of overheating the front tyres is kept at bay.

That car is not as fast as it would normally go. I expect with DRS

going to be available within the one-second window, he should be

able to pull if he is sliding around in that turbulence,.

going to be able to ball past Rosberg. Not if he is going to be

in that turbulence. Sebastian Vettel has the speed at the top of

the hill. He takes the lead comfortably. Sebastian Vettel back

in front. DRS is enabled, as we know. Look at the top four, covered

by under two seconds. Hamilton struggling to hold on. Mark Webber

just did not get away. It looks like he got into anti-stall again.

This is the action at the first corner. Bruno Senna has gone in.

Fernando Alonso was attacked as well. Bruno Senna went into deep on

the brakes. He hit the Toro Rosso of Jaime Alguersuari. They almost

connected with Fernando Alonso. I anti-stall, just as you said. That

is to stop the engine dying, but then he had to pull the clutch in

again, but by the time he had done that he had been swamped. This is

Bruno Senna, a little bit race rusty. Alguersuari is minding his

own business in the middle of the track. He got a proper thumbed

there. It has broken his suspension. Jenson Button's front wing is

damaged, so much so that they are bringing him in for a pit stop to

put a new nose on. The softer tyres fastest lap of the race. Jenson

Button is getting his new knowns as well. Sebastian Vettel does 55.7.

Two seconds quicker. Fernando Alonso is looking at Felipe Massa

but it does not work out. Felipe Massa has DRS available. Fernando

Alonso is getting 20 kilometres. It is stalemate. Fernando Alonso must

be putting double DRS. Up to 18,000 revolutions. This is only lab four

and so much chaos. Everywhere you looked there was a different

accident going on. Absolutely extraordinary. I wonder if there

will be a replay of what the radio message said! It is there to give

team instructions. It looks like Fernando is the faster Ferrari.

Bull are in trouble with their tyres. Trouble for Mark Webber to

come in there and put on the median tyre. McLaren not so. Jenson Button

able to run on that tyre. They are discussing in the pit whether they

need to bring in Sebastian Vettel. When are the blisters going to get

bad enough? His pace is good but surely it is just a matter of time?

front tyres in the slow corners, can't you? Fernando Alonso in the

have been bouncing through it. Lewis Hamilton would have deployed

KERS. And that is as aggressive as Felipe Massa can get away with.

different to what happened with Mark Webber, is it not? We think

they put them the a gym compound on Webber's car, but they have put the

soft ones on. So Sebastian Vettel pits early to put on second tyres,

so Nico Rosberg it is in the lead. A broken gear wing on the Toro

Rosso as he is going through and they have to radio and immediately.

-- rear. It is so dangerous. And they have to call him in. Sergio

Perez has already pitted with no front wing. So much action going on

a off-screen up. This is for the lead. -- off-screen. How long will

they keep their tyres going for? It does seem these blistered tyres

have really heard Red Bull at the moment more than anybody else,

which is why I am sure the likes of McLaren and especially Ferrari are

saying, if you cannot let them change their suspense and -- best

suspension tyres. It is questionable if fresh tyres are

less likely to blister. Red Bull do not need to win this Grand Prix to

win the Championship, so maybe they are just being cautious and have

listened to the driver saying for tyre was opening up, and that could

be... That is Fernando Alonso. Nico Rosberg has great top speed. Even

with the KERS available, they are not making much headway. A drive

through for Bruno Senna and for Timo Glock, so two drivers having

already pitted for damage have to drive through there pit at a cost

of about 16 seconds. -- the pit. Once you have got a momentum, add

nothing else for the other driver to do except try view of the road

and that is not an option at 200 miles per hour. Fernando Alonso

weeds the Belgian Grand Prix on lap 7. I am enjoying this, tremendous!

-- Leeds the Belgian Grand Prix. He started in eighth place on the grid

and already has a comfortable lead. There is a long way to go in this

race. Jenson after that pit stop... That is normally when that the

blisters, the rubber will erupt. -- the blisters. The right side is

also blistered and he will fear that. This is quicker than Nico

Rosberg, but he is driving a fantastic defensive race and I do

not think they expected to read this Grand Prix after Friday and

Saturday. -- to lead. Lewis Hamilton having to get out of the

throttle. His old karting team mate, Nico Rosberg, ahead of him.

almost thought he was heading for the pits, he took such a tight turn

to the right! And wondered if he would sell him a dummy, but he went

left early. I have seen worse blisters than that on tyres, but

they are new to Formula One and you do not know what they will do. And

surely Lewis, with that wing wide- open, will go down the outside? And

he is into second place. About his front tyres will not feel so bad

now! That will make his car feel a lot better. This is interesting,

only 9.6 seconds off the lead is Sebastian Vettel in sixth place

having made that pit stop, that cost him about 20 seconds. And we

watch him passing Kamui Kobayashi. He is now in fifth place. What you

said it is interesting, David. Red Bull are not under pressure to win

everything, they might be taking a more cautious approach. But having

made that pit stop, Sebastian Vettel is looking a handy and is

less than 10 seconds away from this battle for the lead, and they have

yet to stop. We can expect them to come in the next two, 5 laps.

Getting to the end of the usable life of those tyres. Felipe Massa

shaping up on Nico Rosberg or who is losing a lot of pace and a lot

of position. -- Nico Rosberg. And that is the last 60 mile an hour

she came. -- chicane. Lewis Hamilton leads now. Soft tyres are

going on. The same concept they are using with Sebastian Vettel. They

have new tyres available as they only used once set. -- one that set.

And he comes out just in front of Mark Webber so it has worked out

well for Webber, and he fancies a run a. And they are so close, and

he was not moving. He goes down the inside and he is not going to give!

They did any retouch, that is incredible! Ahmad -- Fernando

Alonso saved from an almighty accident. The throttle pedal was

not coming up for Mark Webber. Lewis Hamilton is going to pit.

They do not look too bad. There was some blistering around the outside

edge, I do not think they are concerned about construction, but

when you start to break that surface, they just do not know.

Very high which -- average speed, so you do not want to experiment

too much. So they are being cautious. Nico Rosberg is now in

the pits. That was long, wasn't it? It seemed that way. He has gone to

the soft tyre, but if they are blistering, why are they not going

to the more Secure compound? Because of a lap time of said. But

-- the option tyre is over a second quicker. Blistering is a concern,

but not for our overall lap time. You do not want to give away that

performance of running on the other tyre for too long. That was a past

for position as he -- and he is in fourth place, passing Kamui

Kobayashi. -- a pass for position. He can use the DRS because he was

it -- he was within his second... And contact! Lewis Hamilton into

the barriers! Kamui Kobayashi came back on the outside of him and

Lewis clearly not a way he -- clearly not aware he was there.

Lewis Hamilton out of the Grand Prix! He thought he had completed

the past but Kamui Kobayashi was coming back at him, and he still

had the DRS wide open. Bizarre Kamui Kobayashi had so much top

speed, he did not have his DRS open because he could not, he was being

passed by Lewis. I am sure Lewis will be all right, no big impact.

The safety car is out. Very bad news for Lewis Hamilton. Good news

for all the runners concerned about blistering tyres. It does not -- it

just does not seem to be lucky this year for them. I do not think he

was at fault. This is a replay. has already made the move. Going

down the hill, he thinks he has the move done, but he goes over to take

his normal racing line. A big initial impact. I agree with you,

he should not be too seriously injured. And Red Bull are using for

safety car opportunity to make what could be effectively a free pit

stop out of them losing track position. Having seen it again, how

do you apportion blame and that incident? It did not look like

Lewis was moving back across the left so he was still giving him

space. That is the Red Bull team. It looked like Kamui Kobayashi

started to to an end before Lewis had started to turn in, and you

cannot do that. -- to turn in a. I think we need a few more camera

angles. But not a good afternoon for Lewis Hamilton. It seemed as if

Lewis had not recognised Kamui Kobayashi was coming back at him, I

think he thought he had passed him. I do not understand why Kamui

Kobayashi thought he could go round the outside of him, he would have

to filter in. So I think he will think it was a missed opportunity.

So why was Kamui Kobayashi but in his car there in the first place

and not falling into line? If you would lose less time. When you are

overtaken can make you accept that and try and minimise the time masts,

because if you can not lose time, that could be crucial to pass the

guy again for maybe win the race. But a barrier has separated the

front of that car, it has made impact. Lewis is looking right at

the Apax, he's not looking in his left hand mirror. -- the apex. He

thinks he is ahead. But he was not moving to the left, Kamui Kobayashi

started to move in. We need to say that -- to see that again. What is

the direction of travel relative to the inside of the track for name of

-- for Lewis? That is why those noses are so heavily crash tested.

They do what they should, to absorb the energy. This is the 10th

Belgian Grand Prix at Spa that has recent think. A high-speed nature

means when you do have an accident, it is serious. But that line is

before the first corner and you can overtake over that, and it will be

a drag race down to the first corner. And Sebastian Vettel is

going up the inside of Mark Webber. Webber maintains position as we

seen Spain -- as we see Sergio Perez on the inside, and Vitaly

Petrov. No contact this time around. And Fernando Alonso comfortably

leads from the two slightly squabbling Red Bulls. A

reinvigorated Nico Rosberg with fresh tyres. Adrian Sutil behind

him, Nico Rosberg did keep his position. And Nico Rosberg goes

down the outside of Felipe Massa, the two Red Bulls very close to the

Ferrari. Jenson Button now in tenth place having passed Rubens

Barrichello, but still a long way to go, as his engineer told him.

Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Webber. Vettel has made his way

past his team-mate and Nico Rosberg those fresher tyres. He will be

lined up to pass Fernando Alonso in this lap. Michael Schumacher is now

in 9th place. He started 24th on the grid. Michael Schumacher making

his way through and staying out of trouble, it must be said. He has

pitted twice, Sebastian Vettel has pitted twice and so has Jenson

Button. There was a clash at Blanchmont in the Grand Prix last

Fernando Alonso. Vitaly Petrov has to get out of here! Sergio Perez

loses two places. Sebastian Vettel is down the outside of Fernando

Alonso. Will he be able to break around the outside? He does.

Fernando Alonso being kind, I think. They are both using KERS, if we

believe the graphic. On the straight, diminishing returns at

high speed. Lewis Hamilton sadly becomes a spectator. Four

retirements from the race. I wonder how he sees that incident with

Kobayashi. What about this? Sebastian Vettel over the top of

the hill. He is so happy with the grip of these tyres. Wheel-to-wheel

action. He left Fernando Alonso a bit of room in case he was thinking

of coming back up the inside. scenario at Ferrari is that they

believe they can make one last stop than Sebastian Vettel. That is

reflected in the fact that Fernando Alonso seems to be doing pretty

well in these tyres. They are quite old now. His flat tyres are very

good. 52.9, comparable to Sebastian Vettel. They tell me their other

advantage is that when Sebastian Vettel runs out of soft tyres,

Fernando Alonso will have another set. So Sebastian Vettel will have

to go on to the medium its lower tier faster. While you -- that slow

Felipe Massa. We have heard about the incident between Hamilton and

Kobayashi and it will not be investigated. We have found him to

hear his side of the story. don't like talking to you while the

race is going on. What happened from your point of view? I am not

sure, to be honest. I hit the wall pretty hard. The team is in a good

position. It was unfortunate. As far as I was concerned, I was ahead

of whoever I was racing, then I got hit by them and my race was over.

There have been a lot of races that we have not finished this year, so

this is just another one. dejected Lewis Hamilton. Jenson

Button is sailing past. Jenson Button is looking quite strong if

he can keep these tyres intact. No markings on his front tyres on the

inside. You can see those darker grey patches, they are the giveaway.

When you slow down into a corner then you can look down yourself to

have a look, even your rear tyres in the mirror. Look how close

Jenson Button is to Felipe Massa. He has got through. Another brave

and sensational move from Jenson Button, to take over a 5th place

from Felipe Massa. Good sportsmanship from Felipe Massa.

Butter and put total trust in Felipe Massa there, -- Jenson

Button. That is the respect between the drivers. Jenson Button did well

on the brakes and trusted Felipe Massa absolutely. If I was wearing

a hat I would take it off to both of them because that was great

racing from them both. We must not discount Mark Webber. 7.4 seconds

off the lead at the moment. He has got Bahadur tyre out of the way, of

course. -- there harder tyre. We will keep a close eye on the

evolution of the track. This is at number 25. Ted? I will try to say

something without somebody overtaking something else. On tyres,

Fernando Alonso was saying we are reaching for his two, which is

Ferrari code for they are starting to go off. Let's have it. INAUDIBLE.

OK, I think they are thinking about another stop. The message from

Sebastian Vettel was at the front left was blistering again. There we

go. You can see it clearly in that slow motion. Sometimes they look

uglier than that, the tyres. This is Jenson Button again, taking a

lot of chances. Don't take one too many because you on for a great

result at the moment. Nico Rosberg is in 4th place, by 0.1 of a second.

Nico Rosberg must have made a mistake in that lap. Jenson Button

did a 53.2. This Mercedes is massively fast in a straight line.

think. Nico Rosberg's tyres of fading quite quickly. I thought it

was interesting that Lewis Hamilton said whoever he was racing with

to Eau Rouge. That is why it is critical not to lose one tenth of a

second. If you pick and come out, that is exactly what you could be

faced with. -- if you pit stop. Michael Schumacher shaping up there,

and ride behind him is the Renault. Sebastian Vettel leads the Grand

Prix. But what will they do? They have to bid stop him. And you have

also got Fernando Alonso doing the fastest lap of the Grand Prix on

the harder tyre. If they can push that to the end, with the

temperature, and they are putting some of tyres on him. Because he

did not get through the qualifying three, he has a brand new set of

soft tyres available. Will that bring him into contention? He is

one pit stop behind Sebastian Vettel. He will be at least 20

seconds behind Sebastian Vettel but he is right in there for a podium

place. 3.4 stop. How much time when he find on these? Will they give

him 11 laps of life as he is pushing like crazy? Felipe Massa or

goes into the pit for the final time. Felipe Massa makes his way

out of the pit stop. Mark Webber is flying on track as well. These

times get better and better. Felipe Massa's third stop for tyres. He

heads into Eau Rouge. He had just pitted before that, hadn't he?

had a puncture and had to come back in again. He finds himself behind

the Sauber. Down in 12th. Very costly. He has done back-to-backs

stops, which put in 40 seconds behind. Felipe Massa went into the

pit stop on 30 and 32. Mercedes are 5th and 6th now. Michael Schumacher

at 18,000 revs, but enough speed to clear the force India comfortably.

Michael Schumacher having a fine afternoon. I spoke to Jenson Button

on the grid about standing on that podium and he has got a chance, no

doubt about it. Mark Webber and Jenson Button cadging -- catching

Fernando Alonso, as you say. Jenson Button not really under pressure at

the front. Saving pays. He needs to win a Grand Prix. The last time the

won was at the European, did not win at Silverstone, Valencia,

Nurburgring. Wanting to get that this harder tyre, they were faster

with the soft option tyre. They are not making this tie work, what does

that tell us? By it is quite a struggle in qualifying because they

cannot heat their tyres up -- that is why they struggle. Maybe they

are not generating the heat the need. These tyres are wearing four

times less than the yellow a soft tyres we saw before. There is a big

difference. So why not run the option tyre? Softer, more movement,

more temperature? He has got tyres left. Maybe we will get an engineer

and ask them that. Do you think you will pass this lap, Martin? He has

got a chance. He has already passed him once earlier in the Grand Prix.

I am looking forward to seeing that again. He gets in the slipstream

and opens the rear wing, I do not think Fernando Alonso will fight

that too hard because he has not had the grip to stay with that Red

Bull. In the second place man in Mark Webber. 1 anti-4 Red Bull.

Sebastian Vettel leads over this man. A one and two for the Red Bull

team. Extra bonus 1 -- extra bonus points. The Red ball-boys fully

appreciating that. -- the red ball- boys. This is Button on top of

Alonso! And butter is up onto the podium! -- Button And I am sure

Fernando Alonso is dejected. And look how far he came back from!

Jenson Button just helps himself to a little bit of slipstream, and a

lot more speed. And that is not an aggressive, but his submissive

Fernando Alonso. And Michael Schumacher gets a run on his team

mate. And surely he will take fifth place? He does indeed. He is now

head. Two important race changes. There was a race going on in 15th

and 16th place between at Rubens Barrichello and Heikki Kovalainen.

Struggling for quick, track temperature is up. -- struggling

for the grip. Everybody up until Bruno Senna Inter -- in 13th place

has been lapped. And the safety car shuffled them back together again

when we had that incident after lap 13. Michael Schumacher, a very good

Michael Schumacher who was last on the grid, in his two hundredth

Grand Prix. And Jenson Button has certainly been a past master. Sell

a mixture of the two Ford driver of the day. -- so a mixture. -- for

the driver of the day. The reigning champion takes victory at the

Belgian Grand Prix, he can handle anything, tyres, safety cars, and

Webber comes in second position. And a brilliant position for Jenson

Button on the podium for McLaren, from 13th place on the grid. He

steered clear of the dramas with brilliant overtakes. Fernando

Alonso would not give up and brought the car home in fourth

place. Michael Schumacher is top dog at Mercedes today, he beat the

young Nico Rosberg. It is a win -- it is a win at number 17 for

Sebastian Vettel. Red Bull have first and second place. Jenson

Button gave them the best challenge he could, but on the day, they had

too much pace and we did not get the chance to find out just what

Lewis Hamilton could have done at the front of the field.

So this is the result of the 2011 Belgian Grand Prix and it is yet

another win for Sebastian Vettel. His team-mate Mark Webber behind

him and a strong drive from Jenson Button. And Michael Schumacher will

be delighted, he celebrated in -- he celebrated 20 years in Formula

One this weekend and finishes in fifth place. What does that mean

for the Championship? No change at the front. But a lead is even

bigger, it is now 92 points. Lewis Hamilton in fifth place after his

accident. And Michael Schumacher is now in 8th place. The Constructors'

Championship is all about Red Bull at the moment, 131 points ahead of

McLaren. Let's hear from the main players in what was a pretty

exciting building Grand Prix. And enjoyable weekend for your

first F1 race at Spa? What lessons can be learned? It is a great track

and the experience has been fantastic. It shows when he

qualified at the back with the mistakes we made yesterday, it is

pretty difficult to return. We came in the hope of scoring a lot of

points and Adrian has done that, but there is not a lot I could have

done after the first corner today. You should be smiling on this

anniversary because that was a great drive. At least something

worked out this weekend! It was exciting, a lot of bits and pieces

flying at the first corner. Unlucky I was not -- I was lucky I was not

in the middle and after that, a great strategy. The boys did a

fantastic job. I am happy with the result.

At which point today did you think, in podium is definitely on here?

After the safety car when I started overtaking people, I thought, the

pace is pretty good considering of the damage we have. And most cars

have to pit and put Primes on but we have options. Is soft and better

tyre. So it was exciting. We passed a Renault and a Sauber and I passed

both down the outside. But then you have the problem with the Diarra s,

so I had them both behind trying to get passed on the straight -- the

DRS. But I was able to key positions. If UN race. Little Miss

-- it was a good race. Little mistakes we have to stop happening

because we are quick enough. I am very confident in the car and feel

the best I ever have in Formula One, so we can get good races. And Monza

is hopefully a race that will be competitive.

The safety car came out and I had a fight with Fernando. I think the

safety car wanted me to pit. But I got the instruction to put the car

in some of the modes for the pit stop but I was on the wrong side of

the war and did not here properly. So that was a worry. I thought, I

am on of -- I am on all tyres and everybody has stopped except

Fernando. But I kept going. The car behaved well, and was happy with

how I drove to get a good result from what was probably one of the

team's best first and second positions ever. Congratulations, is

your happiness mixed with relief you are back on the top? I mean, I

am very happy. I think it was a very good race for us. Not easy

because of the tyres, quite difficult to manage. And at the

beginning, it was more about research and science rather than

racing. We sacrificed a lot stopping early but we had a good

feeling. And they came in again after the safety car came out to

look at the tyres -- I came in. I can judge a bit from the inside but

when you do 300, you see the tyres spinning rather than stopping and

you cannot take the time to look. So it was crucial to come back in

and have a closer look and we knew that from then on, we only had one

set of soft tyres left and the soft tyre was quicker. But I know the

outcome now so I am very happy and obviously it is a big relief after

all the discussions we had a straight after qualifying and this

morning before going into the race, so I am very happy.

We are here at Spa and they are queuing up for Monza for the next

Grand Prix. David's thoughts on that race, Spa did not disappoint,

did it? A great race, a wet and dry at the end. A fantastic pole

position 4 Sebastian Vettel. And unpredictable race with tyres

playing a big part, could the options withstand the blistering? A

strong Ferrari in the early part of the race, a fantastic comeback for

Michael Schumacher from 24th to fifth place, but it was Sebastian

Vettel again at the chequered flag. So how do you pick a driver of the

day? They were all exceptional drivers. But in commentary, I said

you have to choose Michael because of the significance of the history,

a 20 years since he made his Grand Prix debut, and Jenson Button,

whose passing was Supreme. And the biggest disappointment Lewis

Hamilton. He was getting too close to cars on track but it was

questionable how much of the blame you could apportioned to Lewis, but
