The Chinese Grand Prix - Highlights Formula 1

anything to go by, we could be set for another cracker this year. This

could be a spectacular Grand Prix. All the action from qualifying in a

few moments. This is the way the calendar looks for 2012. The big

story this weekend has been the fact that that on the 22nd April we

are due to race cars in Bahrain. The FIA said that race goes ahead

as part of the 2012 race calendar. ahead of Sebastian Vettel who is

the championship leader for the hole of 2011. It was Red Bull all

the way. McLaren have set the early pace. They have extended their lead.

Three teams have yet to score. The three newest teams in Formula One.

Right, time to show you what happened in qualifying followed by

the race action. Here is Lee McKenzie.

Sebastian Vettel came to China looking for his fourth poll

position, but he was left looking for answers after going out in Q2

for the first time since Brazil 2009. He starts from 11th. Ferrari

may have won the last Grand Prix, but they knew this weekend was

going to be tough. Alonso did make it through, but had to settle for

ninth. Delighted after Sunday in Malaysia,

Sauber were given more reasons to smile after Kobayashi kalified

fourth. -- qualified fourth. Lewis Hamilton knew before qualifying

that he had to take a grid penalty for a gearbox change.

His team-mate will start fifth. Mercedes new the track should suit

them, but no one expect add stunning -- expected a stunning

time for Nico Rosberg. Michael Schumacher put his car third and

was surprised when he spoke to his engineer on team team radio.

TEAM RADIO: OK, Michael so Nico's lap time 35.1.

Lewis Hamilton's penalty. Kobayashi moves up to third and with another

strong performance from Kimi Raikkonen in fourth. Jenson Button

starts in fourth and Mark Webber moves up to fifth. Hamilton starts

seventh. Alonso is nieupt with ninth with Vettel behind him.

Williams are on the seventh row followed by Force India. After

changing bodywork, Jean-Eric Vergne starts from the pit lane. HRT are

the grid in China, but they have beaten to poll position by a man

who has yet to win a race in 110 attempts. The Chinese Grand Prix

continues the early season tour of Lights out. Away we go! Rosberg

gets off the line well. Schumacher is slower away. Kimi Raikkonen

trying to go up into third. Around the outside, is that Button? I

think it is. Jenson Button gets past Raikkonen. Hamilton now trying

to follow through. Kobayashi had a poor get away and he has his team-

mate, Perez not far behind. It looks like Sebastian Vettel

dropped grid positions in the scramble through turn one, but

unlike in a previous two years when we have seen a poll man losing his

place in the first corner. The two Saubers are side by side.

Each of them fighting for position here. Perez has got passed

Kobayashi. Mark Webber - Alonso passed him. He dived down the

inside of the Ferrari. Alonso has to make the most of the lap.

Raikkonen fourth, Hamilton fifth, Perezics Perez sixth. He has come

up well from eighth place. The end of the second sector,

Sebastian Vettel not only had a terrible qualifying, he a terrible

start and he is down to 15th. Webber. Rosberg has control of the

race. Webber and Alonso look at them side by side and Alonso

retakes the place from Mark Webber. Felipe Massa is alongside them as

well. Alonso versus Webber with Massa not far behind. Webber needs

to be back ahead of that Ferrari. As fast as possible. Rosberg leads

from Schumacher. They have a gap of 1.3 seconds over Button in third

followed by Raikkonen and Hamilton. Further down the order. There is a

move from Maldonado. It doesn't come off. Maldonado trying to get

past Sebastian Vettel. Sebastian Vettel passed Maldonado.

Looking at the front running order, Michael Schumacher is 0.7 seconds

behind Rosberg. The reason why that is crucial, at the end of the

second lap we will get DRS activated and that will give you

that extra speed on the run-down to Senna running in twelfth place

alongside Romain Grosjean. Grosjean hasn't had any mishaps.

Kovalainen lost out on that initial run. Glock is in 18th. Take a look

at the start. Ace to start, Nico Rosberg. Michael

Schumacher made a good start relative to the other cars, the

Mercedes must have been hooked up, RPM, everything sorted. Look down

the middle of the pack. You can see Sebastian Vettel was getting

bunched in. At the back of the grid Grosjean was close to coming into

the back of the Ferrari of Alonso. As you come to the end of the

second lap, he has only done four racing laps this year. It will be a

journey into the unknown in terms of his Grand Prix career. Senna -

he runs into the back of the Ferrari and he has front wing

damage. But Senna is in twelfth place. This

is the start from Lewis Hamilton. How did this go? The use of KERS.

He deployed that and gets a nice run-down the the inside of the

Sauber. It was Tarredy of Perez leaving the door open and that

allows Lewis to run the inside line into turn two.

Kobayashi slow away. We are on board with Sebastian Vettel finding

his way in 14th position after that miserable first lap and trying to

get past Paul di Resta. TEAM RADIO: I cannot get past them

I am afraid. Understood. A little bit of frustration coming

through in Sebastian's voice. He has got to be patient. Grosjean

having a look at Massa. That would make me nervous given

Grosjean's record. He made it to lap seven. He has almost doubled

his laps. Somebody is diving into the pits.

Is it Vettel? That's Mark Webber. Nico Hulkenberg is struggling

himself, but that is a very, very early stop. Let's get some reaction

from Gary in the pit lane on this. What do you reckon, Gary? Webber is

still on the harder tyre. He was stuck in traffic and he is making

use of that. He might as well come in and get one of the stops done

and when these guys have problems with their tyres, he can overtake a

few. It is a gamble, but you have got to do something when you are

stuck out there. Do you think we will see something

from Vettel as well? He is stuck there. He is complaining about

straight line speed. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. He

is stuck in traffic so he might as Kobayashi is making his way towards

the pit lane. Presumably this will pit lane as we speak. That tricky

pit lane entry which fought Lewis Hamilton out in horrible conditions

when he no grip left on his tyres in 2007. We get ready to send him

on his way. Force India awaiting Nico Hulkenberg and Kobayashi

headed off on to the pit exit. Vettel hoping that this early pit

stop will help him. It brings him out into traffic. He has gone on to

the medium, the harder compound which is being used this weekend as

did his team-mate, Mark Webber. Perhaps what they have learned from

Webber is sufficient. They have put a new nose on Nico Hulkenberg's car.

A bit of damage on the front lap. That dropped him down. Button not

keeping with Michael Schumacher. He has been hounded by Kimi Raikkonen

then Lewis Hamilton. There is Perez. He is on the yellow, softer tyres

as are most of the front-runners. As they come out of turn 13, had is

the battle for second place. There is a number of different drivers

and different cars and that's what is making Formula One exciting.

The DRS zone is clearly marked. It is not having a great deal of

effect in the racing which is surprising. You saw over 60 passes

on track last year and the DRS accounted for half of those. So far,

there there doesn't seem to be much marbling. He was followed in by

Perez. It was Hamilton who followed him into the pits. Everyone

reacting to Mark Webber having stopped on the hard tyres and Mark

Webber is the fastest man on the track running down into 17th place

and that has clearly given an ind an indication to all. That is what

we expected, anywhere around 10 or 15 and it was a battle of the pit

crews and Lotus not as good as McLaren and Hamilton getting out in

front of Kimi Raikkonen. That is a place gained by McLaren.

They changed their rear jacks. They are battling away with Mark Webber.

Kimi Raikkonen might have lost that place to Mark Webber. Webber has

got himself in in between those two cars. Suddenly Kimi has lost two

places, but he will come straight back at Mark Webber. That's a

tricky place to try and overtake. They almost touch. They virtually

do. Webber gets the place. That was strate -- great stuff!

Kimi Raikkonen would have used the KERS coming out of turn three and

in the end, great wheel to wheel racing. Two proes there. Mark did

what he should do which is let his car run out on to the line.

TEAM RADIO: This is the option tyre. He has been told he is on the

softer compound tyre. They had a rear jack last time out in Malaysia.

McLaren lost a lot of time on pit stops for Lewis and Jenson. It

meant a redesign of the jack they use. There was nothing wrong with

that pit stop and it got them ahead of Raikkonen and ahead of Mark

Webber. Lewis Hamilton's pit stop going according to plan this time.

They are closing up on Heikki Kovalainen who is running in 13th.

Kimi Raikkonen is trying to get past the Torro Rosso. These guys

going side by side. Kobayashi getting into the mix as well. Great

side by side racing. Jean-Eric Vergne is in the Torro Rosso and we

have more pits. Button has been into the pits and comes back out.

He is ahead of Hamilton and there is Kobayashi, part of that group in

the Sauber. Let's see what we have got here. David, this was the

battle between Raikkonen and part of that racetrack. They will

be running with the limiters, and when they get to the white line,

they release. It was all over for Kimi Raikkonen when he was dropped

from his pit box. Great works from the McLaren crew. What is

interesting, we have been talking about Mercedes not making the tyres

last, and they still have not stopped. It is so confusing to try

to make head nor tail of the tyres. They are on the option tyres. Nico

Rosberg is still putting in good times. It is a very good point,

Mercedes are still going round, while lots of others have been into

the pits. Gary, are due surprised? Surprised, they have been working

hard. It looks good. If you look at his Times, he is in the mid- 43 is,

so it is staying stable. The car should go faster because of the

fuel usage, but it is not. Michael was doing a good job of making sure

that Nico Rosberg had a window. gap opened up. He has gone for the

harder of the two tyres. Also into the pits, Bruno Senna. Will they do

anything to the front wing? Michael Schumacher... Jenson Button goes

around him. That has worked fantastically for Jenson Button. He

gets out in front of Michael Schumacher. This is a replay of

what happened to Nico Rosberg. He locked up, he ran wide. No real

harm done, though. Nico Rosberg pushing on as he approaches his

first stop. Jenson Button, crucial to get past Michael Schumacher.

Michael Schumacher has pulled off! It must be a problem for him, for

the second time this year. It was a gearbox in Australia, something has

gone wrong again for Michael Schumacher. It is not going to be

his day. He will not get his 92nd victory at the track where he got

his last. RADIO: I am out of the race. It was something with his

will. One of his pit crew were slapping the ground, as if there

was an issue. Let's see if they have an issue. I did not quite

catch what he said. Did he mention a problem with that the wheel?

did not catch it myself. It is the harder compound. Nico Rosberg does

not have anybody backing him up, he has got to do this on his own. He

maintains the leader of the race. No, Sergio Perez has not been in

yet, so he will be the race leader. Sauber are going for a different

strategy, but Michael Schumacher... Can we spot anything? He mentioned

he had an issue with his will. I saw one of the pit crew slapping

the ground. We are watching out for wobbly wheels. We will get some

more news on that sooner. That is a real shame for the crew. Also for

Michael and for Ross Brawn. A big lock-up from Sergio Perez. Gary,

give me your thoughts on the sort of pace we have seen from Sergio

Perez, do you think they might go for two stops and others will go

for free? That is what I would try to do. They are putting on the

harbour of the tyres again. The lock-up hurt different tyre. They

be to change and see how far they can go. This is the crucial stop

for Sauber. Where he feeds back in,... It is the harder tyre.

seemed to drag his clutch. They launched on the pit box at the same

pressure as launching from the crypt. That will have cost him time.

Normally, it is 21 seconds between leaving the track and rejoining,

but in that case, about 22 seconds. He has come out just in front of

Sebastian Vettel. He is behind Romain Grosjean. Let's listen. Down

all the gears, into the hairpin. Let's listen as he comes into the

left-hander. Still chasing after Kimi Raikkonen. They are fifth and

sixth. Mark Webber comes in. He has decided to come in after 21 laps.

Now, he is going on to another set of harder tyres. He will be

spending a lot of time in the pit lane this afternoon. Where will he

rejoined? Into clean air, nobody on the track. The next guy will be

Jean-Eric Vergne. He has done 15 laps on that last set of tyres.

McLaren are getting ready. Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton are

second and third at the moment. It is the Ritz Hamilton, from third

position. -- it is Lewis Hamilton. He is getting fed up of third place.

He has had two so far this year. Not really, he is in a strong place

in the championship. It was a strong stop from McLaren. But

Fernando Alonso behind him in this race, it would be good news for

Lewis Hamilton, he could take the championship lead. He comes out

behind Felipe Massa. Into the pits, Jenson Button. He could not go any

longer on those tyres. He goes on to the harder compound. Gary,

interesting tactics for Red Bull and the Clavin, onto the harder

compound. -- Red Bull and McLaren. Both tyres are competitive, but it

is about how your car makes them work. You have to run both types.

They will make one more stop. They can make up their mind for the last

set, whether they use the softer compound, up or whether they use

the harder compound. They can make the decision constructively,

because the last 10 laps, that will tell the tale of who got the

strategy correct. Whenever you pick from the lead, you end up down the

grid, because everybody is packed so tightly together, with different

strategies. Jenson Button trying to get past Pastor Maldonado. He was

side-by-side. Lewis Hamilton is further behind, trying to get past

Felipe Massa. Both of the McLaren drivers are in situations where

they are in traffic. Look at the Williams, sliding around. Jenson

Button trying to get a good exit off the 13th corner. The flat is

open, he has got the top speed. 200 mph, the braking should be

straightforward. Jenson Button has done what Lewis Hamilton has failed

to do. This is really costing Lewis Hamilton, especially that Jenson

Button has got past the car he came out behind after his stop. There

was Hamilton could get frustrated. Remember Lewis Hamilton and Felipe

Massa coming together last year. They spend a lot of time getting up

close and personal. This is where Lewis Hamilton passed Jenson Button

last year. It has got to watch out for Mark Webber. Yes, Mark Webber

or have a go -- Mark Webber will have a go if he sees the

opportunity. He has been very fast off the past two laps. He is within

that ers sown. -- within the DRS zone. Mark Webber will try to get

past the Ferrari. That has cost Lewis Hamilton a bit of time. When

you first leave the pits, your tyres are at their best. Mark

Webber set his fastest lap after being in the pits, but Lewis

Hamilton has used the best in trying to get past Felipe Massa.

has got to be careful that he does not put it into over its peak of

operating temperature. That is why he was being cautious. In the end,

he would have used the KERS. It is a cautious overtake from the Lewis

Hamilton. Normally, he would have had it down the inside. We have the

appreciation of the McLaren crew! Achy retirement from the race early

on, -- important retirement from the race early on, Michael

Schumacher, talking to Lee McKenzie. So disappointing, the team seemed

to know the wheel was not on. noticed it on the third corner,

once I started to lock the front right tyre. By the sixth corner,

there was smoke and damage, and I thought it was better to stop it,

before I made some serious damage. Should the team have told you?

probably found out before them. I do not have any hard feelings. I

feel sorry for one of my boys, I guess he feels responsible. But it

is part of the game. The car seemed to be looking after the tyres well.

Could you have been on the podium, could Nico Rosberg when? It looks

pretty positive. We are looking strong. We told you that we have

been having too much where in Australia, and not enough in

Malaysia, so there must have been a middle way, and we have found a way

to operate the car. Jenson Button got past Pastor Maldonado, but he

has also gone past Bruno Senna. This was Mark Webber passing Felipe

Massa. The copy of what we saw with Lewis Hamilton. The Ferrari not

working so well on the brakes. A clear sign it is lacking overall

downforce. Lewis Hamilton behind Paul di Resta. Just moving to the

inside. It looks as though it will be fairly straightforward. He needs

to be careful, because he could lose another place to Mark Webber.

Lewis Hamilton is through. Jenson Button quite quick over the past

couple of laps. Into the pits, Fernando Alonso. He has gone on to

the softer tyre, I think. Nico Rosberg continues to lead, 27 that

have been completed. We are halfway through. Mark Webber trying to get

past Paul di Resta. It is straight forward. He should be able to ease

away slightly. Kimi Raikkonen in second because he has not made his

second pit stop. Romain Grosjean has been competitive, Sebastian

Vettel has not made his second stop yet. It will be fascinating to see

Howard works out, because there are people on different strategies.

Kimi Raikkonen brings the Lotus into the pits. He is a former

winner of the Chinese Grand Prix. He is looking for a podium for

Lotus. He is using Renault power, like Red Bull. He is on the harder

tyre. He will come out behind both Ferrari drivers. It has been

Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen throughout the race, and now

Fernando Alonso is ahead. Lewis Hamilton trying to get past Sergio

Perez it. He thought he might have a go up the inside, and he decided

against it. Sergio Perez fending off Lewis Hamilton, a double winner

here. In comes Romain Grosjean. That was a good stint by the

Frenchman. He will have moved himself up the order as a result of

that. He is showing the sort of pace that we saw in testing from

him, which he has not been able to demonstrate in the first two races.

It was an impressive 21 laps. It might not sound that impressive

back home,... I RADIOED: We are in this to win. -- radio: We are in

this to win. We are looking at target, plus three. That means they

will have had a planned strategy going into the Grand Prix. He is

informing Jenson Button they will be adding three laps to this next

stop. Jenson Button has done two stock has already this afternoon,

they can expect to see him in a game -- in again. He has got a few

more laps to do. It looks as though Nico Rosberg is going all the way.

One more stop. Jenson Button is going for three stops. The result

and has not found a way past Sergio Perez. -- Lewis Hamilton has not

found. Jenson Button is making more stops, even though it he is faster.

Last year, it was exciting, the different strategies clashing, and

we are in for a similar grandstand finish. How close can Lewis

Webber is around the outside. That won't work, Mark! Nice try anyway!

Hamilton is too sharp for that one slam that Sauber gives a breathing

space for Hamilton. But it is so fast in the straight line even when

you have the DRS available, you only have an off set of of five or

six kilometres. Looking at the battle in the front, bef we have

Button running 12 seconds behind Rosberg. Rosberg on a two stopper,

we believe, Button will be on a three stopper. If Button can close

that up before Rosberg has to do his second stop or through the last

part of the stint, of course, when he is on the fresher set of tyres I

think we're in for a grandstand finish.

Here we are with Hamilton on DRS, closing on Perez. Sergio Perez gets

it turned in, but he might lose the place on the exit because he was

deep into the corner and he just stays in front of Hamilton.

again he has locked up. Behind them Vettel... Webber.

Webber. Rosberg the race leader into the pits and back out again.

He is coming out ahead of the fight fight between Perez and Hamilton.

So that's where Rosberg re-emerges, Hamilton can't get past that Sauber

which has done 325 kilometres an hour. The Mercedes team...

TEAM RADIO: Try to get two or three more lap ins front. Try to stay in

front. The Mercedes team taking advantage

of this battling that's going on all the time when we are having to

weave and defend. You are losing lap time and that's released

Rosberg into clean air. Yeah, so Rosberg still fighting for the

victory, but Button going well. So Hamilton. These two are fighting

for a potential podium finish. Perez well, last weekend, he was

closing up on one world champion, Fernando Alonso, now he is being

hounded by another, Lewis Hamilton. There is Nico Rosberg up ahead of

them and tucked in behind there is Alonso as well. So this is a three-

way tussle and Perez on the tyres which are not so strong, but he has

great line speed. We said going into this race that

Mercedes can't make the tyres last and we said going into the season

that Ferrari have a dog of a car. That's right. They are battling at

again. How does he make the corner? I don't understand how he can be

that locked up and make the apex. Is he going to pit this lap? He

goes on. You can see the pit entry is tricky for the drivers because

if you are going straight into the pits and you are following another

car, you have to slow down and accelerate up again, but Perez got

the benefit of a straight run in. Yeah, Alonso now right with

Hamilton. This is exciting stuff. The two former team-mates a few

years ago, of course, which didn't always go according to plan. Alonso

chasing down Hamilton. Let's take a look a the lock up. Having locked

up once on the worn tyres, it is likely to happen again? Yeah. There

is no ABS on these cars. You can see the wheel turning gently as the

by pumping at the brake pedal, but you have to take the speed off the

car so you can't release your foot from the brake entirely otherwise

you will go straight on. Mark Webber Mark Webber gets wide

on the exit of turn 13. Well, that will be one for the FIA

to look at after the race because it launched the front of the car up

into the air. You can see the McLaren team getting ready for

Jenson Button. He slows the car down to the 80

kilometres speed limit. He won't be leading when he comes

back out. He is on the harder compound tyre. A big problem with

the left rear. It is a slow start for Jenson Button. Now he gets to

move. Hamilton and Alonso are fighting, but Jenson Button had a

dreadful, dreadful stop and now as he gets going again, you should see

him emerge from the left-hand side. Look at all the places he has lost.

He lost a bunch of places and Jenson Button's chances of winning

this Grand Prix have gone out of the window even if Rosberg has a

problem he has all these cars ahead of him. Agony for the McLaren pit

crew there. There was a problem with left rear. They didn't seem to

be able to get the wheel nut seated. He goes for a new gun or a new nut

and back on again. Not a shake of the head from Jenson

Button. He sat there impassively. But there is the problem on the

left rear. They don't want to take chances. You remember Silverstone,

McLaren didn't get a wheel nut on and Jenson like Michael Schumacher

went out of the pits and had to come off. They would rather have a

slow stop. TEAM RADIO: Button has a slow stop.

This could be close. Yeah, it was close. Jenson Button

coming out behind this group which has Sebastian Vettel and Jenson

Button getting past Grosjean. Jenson Button has to throw caution

to the wind. He is on the fresh tyres so he has the advantage in

terms of grip. Jenson Button was stationary for

nine seconds during that stop. They are used to being in and out within

three seconds. It would have been painful sitting there waiting for

the lollipop man man telling you to How long can Massa go on these set

of tyres? Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel, guys with great CVs trying

to get past him. A great drive from Felipe Massa. A

different strategy to the others around him, but he is making the

tyres last. It is not the quickest way to drive the lap, but it is

allowing him to run currently in second place. He will have to stop

again, of course, but Webber - look at the bunch of carsment Webber

getting the pass on Senna. TEAM RADIO: The most important

thing is you are really looking after the tyres. The next car is 19

seconds behind you. Felipe Massa is racing for second

place. Vettel is in third. And Jenson Button is in fourth.

Vettel's tactics have worked well, but now it will be Jenson Button on

a fresher set of tyres trying to get past the the Red Bull and the

Lotus and then go on the chase of Nico Rosberg. But Nico Rosberg told,

"All you have to do is look after the tyres and we should be in good

shape.". Look how close these guys are. It is like Formula Ford racing.

Nose to tail. Great stuff. World champions second, third and fourth.

Hamilton is up into seventh position. He is flying at the

moment. Alonso trying to get past. He is on the marbles. There is is

what happens when you get out into the dusty part of the track. Perez

got past Alonso. He was being greedy there, trying to inTim mate

mate Maldonado. Maldonado having none of it and Alonso pays the

price. This queue of cars where DRS doesn't seem to be making much

difference. I thought Jenson Button would be able to make that move a

moment ago. This is past Senna. Hamilton has got past Maldonado and

Senna. So on his way goes Hamilton. Rosberg still leads this race. This

is what happened to Alonso. That's what happens when you get off the

racing line. There is lots of dust and debris and it is like getting

on to ice. Webber getting past Grosjean and

Hamilton trying to do like wise, but Grosjean is not giving that

place up. That's the same place that Alonso went wide. It is a

carbon copy of what Alonso did. It looked like he managed to get the

pass initially, but it drifted out That's Maldonado and those two made

contact in Australia and let's hope this doesn't end badly for Romain

Grosjean. He has enough over Maldonado which will sense an

opportunity here. Maldonado is going to have a look at the inside

of Grosjean. They hit each other. They touch here again and Maldonado

trying to go around the outside of Romain Grosjean. Again, this is

aggressive stuff and this time Grosjean fends him off. Great

racing, but... He damaged his N- plate and you could see parts of

the front N-plate. Perez is going to get one or if

both of them down into the hairpin. Maldonado closes the door, but he

got past Grosjean. These guys racing in GP 2, it it looks likes

they are racing again. Now he is take ago quick sigh of relief as he

tries to pull away and Perez is the one trying to get past Maldonado.

Bravo, Romain Grosjean! That was great driving there! I held my

breath to see if Alonso managed to slip up the inside of Perez. So

Perez losing out. He got that familiar view that he had from the

Grand Prix in Malaysia of the back of the Ferrari! But anyway, I was

holding my breath when I saw Romain TEAM RADIO: You can afford to lose

another half a second. That's interesting interesting!

Alonso does make the move on Perez so he gets him back after Alonso's

mistake. He lost a place to Perez. Now he reclaims it. It is important

in terms of championship points for Alonso. That's tenth place. You get

a point there. The World Championship leader coming into

this race, but that lead is is going to disappear because Jenson

Button and Hamilton are ahead of him. But they are not going to win

this race as it stands at the moment.

Red Bull have their two cars in the top five. But will that change

because Webber and Hamilton are coming through? Hamilton - there is

Hamilton trying to get past Webber. He slipped up the inside and he

Webber is holding this. It is good stuff! Now Webber just

not forget that Nico Rosberg leads for Mercedes and he has a 25 second

advantage over Sebastian Vettel. The race is on for second between

Vettel and Button as we look back Perez, to defend his position.

some good points on the border. We have a healthy lead in the

constructors. My team-mate is only two points ahead of me in the

started slow, everybody was trying to manage the tyres, but then, as

we got into the final round, amazing, the Mercedes car that we

thought had problems, it won the Grand Prix with two stops. Frantic

activity to fight over the last podium positions. Kimi Raikkonen

falling off the edge of the cliff in terms of his tyre where, going

from second to 14th. It shows how unpredictable kisses. Last season,

we had a German driver up front, keeping out of trouble, that is

what Nico Rosberg did today. Yes, he won by more than 20 seconds. I

do not recall Sebastian Vettel winning by more than 20 seconds in

any of the races last year. The margin of victory was very close,

but he was able to dominate qualifying, kept a clean start, and
