Day 3 - Part 2 Golf: Women's British Open

Welcome once more to a pretty windy corner of the Wirral near Liverpool.

Catherine Hall, she was a runner up here a few years ago. The Cut

Marque has gone out to plus five. At the moment, it is about 60

players who are squeaking in. There will be 36 holes tomorrow in this

great Championship, which was curtailed because of gale-force

winds. Round Two was wiped out yesterday. All of these players are

safe at the moment. Haeji Kang was our overnight leader, but she has

had a rotten day to day. Juli Inkster, that was a fighting

performance. She had one of the very few rounds under 70 today. At

52 years at the age, there oldest player in the field by some

time. I think we can look further down the leaderboard. They will be

a surprise out there. Somebody will come from under the radar. Get out

there early, get a good score under your belt, and be untroubled

because the attention will be on the last group. It'll be a long day

for everybody. They are playing the third round from very early in the
