the game? We are concerned because seven minutes went up on the extra

time board but it did give us a lift because we were putting them

return, you were heavily linked and a lot of people said you were the

favourite to take over at Bristol Rovers. What made you decide not to

do that? I think I was heavily linked because I was doing a

commentary on a Bristol City-or more game than like the manager got

the sack and everybody was asking me the question because I was there.

It would have been a brave decision to take an ex-Bristol City manager

over to Rovers so they never asked me anyway. There was not a decision

to make. The Bristol board have got to take their time and make the

right appointment. Yeovil came in, missed the chairman and ask me to

takeover and I was happy to do so. The other names are in the frame

and they are saying they were having to use in the next couple of

days with may be an answer by Thursday. Who would you give the

job to? I will leave that to Leroy. He seems to pick everybody's

managers all over the country! a good job of it as well! What is

he on about? I said if Gary was to go to Bristol Rovers I was not sure

if he would be the next Bristol City man. It is a difficult job.
