magnificent season. Last year, few Cherries supporters could have

dreement that a campaign which started so -- dreamt that a

campaign which started to badly could have ended so dramatically.

Here we are, promoted. Unbelievable! It was the return of

the Cherries' manager which transformed the season. The fans

were singing the man of the man who has catapulted them into the second

tier of English football for the second time in over 20 years.

You can see the support we've had today - it's been brilliant. To see

a town so happy because of football means the world to me. They moments

you have to savour. They don't come around very often. Only two or

three times. They are momentous. My daughters are here with me, which

makes it more special as well. has been the most amazing season -

the fans can celebrate, but already Eddie Howe and his management team

are thinking about their campaign in the championship next season.

achievement for this football club. We have to look forward to what

will be a difficult year, but hopefully one we can enjoy. We know

we have to improve. Hopefully we can do. Such was the enthusiasm

that hundreds gathered at the stadium hours before the open-top

tribulations, ups and downs. It's great. We are where we deserve to

be. These are part of the Cherries' history and the players will surely

be striving for a chance to do it all over again as soon as possible.

division, but maybe they will not be the smallest financially? No t

Let's look at the playoffs and this Who is hot and who is not in that

group of teams? They have all come into it - last week they were all

in any way. Sheffield - a big club. Expectations and pressure. I think

they will go through. Swindon had a rocky finish. The positive for them

is they have games to be excited again. Previous form does not

matter so much. For me, Yeovil did a fantastic job. Went Dan spoke

about Sheffield United, there is none on Yeovil, so they can go in

there, play with flare and freedom. They may get them a good result

come the playoffs. I think probably Yeovil can go into that and think

no-one will expect us to get through. Sheffield unite have been

on a blip. Portsmouth. Down to League Two. Next season, what is

the aim for them - go straight back up? That is the aim. Fans will have

to be careful. There's a lot of pressure. They are a big scalp in

that league. They finished this year very well. You go into that

league, it is not easy. I don't think there is too much between

those leagues. Would you caution stability - it is better for them

next season than some crazy promotion straight off. It is a new

start, isn't it? Once they are on a run - that is the key. If they get

on a run with the fans backing them, who knows where they can get to.

Crawley have finished in tenth. They signed off with a draw. 2-2

against Hartlepool. Proctor with a second goal of the

fight to stay in the football league in the moment. The

be thankful to the manager for giving me a chance. I work with a

group of players that are so honest that if you ask them to do

something, they do it. I cannot remember many days walking off the

training pitch saying today's been a great day, but here I have to say

every day is like that. I have enjoyed it from start to finish.

Alan has been amazing. He has worked incredibly hard all the time

- every day of the week. He's done a brilliant, brilliant job. A great

day at play moor. Martin Ling will have talks with the club over what

pleasing for everyone involved in the club and supporters. Hopefully

we can push on next season. Aldershot's chances were slim.

Rotherham knew victory would see them promoted. The five-year stay

in the football league did come to an end. Aldershot almost got an

equaliser. How these efforts didn't go in is anyone's guess.

They scored only 42 goals - the lowest amount in the division.

talk about Plymouth. We heard John there saying he did the job he had

to do. For you, obviously that was your job for half this season.

Mixed emotions listening to that. am delighted. There are some great

people down there. The people who work there and the players. Pleased

for everyone in the city and surrounded by the club. Obviously

they would like to do it themselves with a good result. Thankfully the

results went their way and they can look forward to next season now.

You know this club very well. What People in the boardroom, trying to

get things straight. Budgets - they have to short out Sheridan's

situation. What would you do if you were there now? I don't know if I

can say that on TV! They need to know which direction they want the

club. If they want success, they have to put money in. If they want

to bring in the youth. They need an identity and look forward to next

season. And Darren, obviously there's the question at Torquay

about what will happen next. Alan Knill saying he is waiting for the

phone to ring. It depends what does Martin Ling - is he ready to come

back - does he want to come back? It sound like Alan Knill would like

the job. Staying in the area for the next week. One club we have not

discussed the Aldershot. Relegation was confirmed at the weekend.

Administration is a threat. My sources are telling me this evening

that Chris Makaller has turned to the current chairman. All this

follows comments from Jamie Young which kind of sum up the

difficulties. If you ask me honestly, do the players give

enough or could they have done more? Yes, they could have done

more. When the boss says he wants many toe do something, I do it.

There are players who don't do it. I cannot understand that. Whether

it is my boss in life, I do what they tell me to. That is part of

being an employee. One or two players upset at what they heard.

going into a play-off place. Yatesiate's men finished fifth in

the end. For a second year running, Cheltenham fans are focusing on

end- of-season-drama. It will be a great day at Wembley. I am

confident we'll be there. I think we'll smash it. Sniet it will be

tough. They -- It will be tough. They didn't perform on the day.

Gratitude on the back of the players. We have to use it in a

positive manner to make sure we are as good as we can be on Thursday

and as good as we can be on the following Sunday.

Cheltenham and Northampton on Thursday. Second league, home, next

Sunday night. Can Cheltenham do it? I think so. Experience from last

year. Full of confidence. I have a sneaky feeling for Bradford - back

to Wembley again. They have the experience from this season.
