Coutinho! We are in a great position, against all the odds.

There is pressure on teams when you are in the bottom three. We have got

to get ourselves further up the table. We know we have two win our

games and hope that others slip up. Four games to go, 12 points to fight

for, and it will go until the last game of the season. We have got a

big job to do here, and we are determined to put it right.

COMMENTATOR: What a day in the Barclays Premier League.

Another day of drama to bring you from the Barclays Premier League,

with the true analysis from Martin Keown and Danny Murphy. We start at

Carrow Road, where the scourge of Norwich was in town.

COMMENTATOR: It is Suarez! What a goal! Suarez has done it again. The

nemesis of Norwich! If this season has taught us anything, it is surely

to expect the unexpected. Liverpool have been playing with poise,

to expect the unexpected. Liverpool and pace, but now, can they play

with the pressure of being clear title favourites, or can Norwich

find a performance and a result which all logic might say

find a performance and a result beyond them there no -- beyond them?

Norwich make one change. They are on the brink, facing a hideous run-in.

Joe Allen and Lucas come in for Liverpool. Suarez has 11 goals in

his last four against Norwich, and three more goals this season and

Norwich. Norwich have gone with two up front

again. It is a positive approach from the new manager.

Sterling's shot! Raheem Sterling, with another splendid goal out of

nothing! Right footed, into the corner of the net! And with less

than four minutes completed, Liverpool have the lead. He scored

brilliantly against Manchester City. And in its own way, this is every

bit as good. There might have been the faintest of Flex off Michael

Turner. But it might well have been heading in anyway. Well, Raheem

Sterling seems certain to have played his way into the England

World Cup squad, and very possibly into their team. Liverpool hoping

for a 10th away victory of the season and an 11th consecutive

Bassong Nguena league win. Kept in by Philippe Coutinho. That is a

tremendous stop by the Norwich 'keeper.

Mamadou Sakho keeping Daniel Agger out of the Liverpool team at the

moment. And he has found Suarez man who scores! And Liverpool are 2-0

up, and Luis Suarez gets his customary goal against Norwich City.

It is beautifully created, and finished wonderfully by the

Uruguayan, who now has 34 the season. And Liverpool have two goals

inside the first 11 minutes. It was a beautiful ball from Sterling.

Nothing the goalkeeper could do about that. The worst possible

start, but he might have feared the worst. Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers

always seem to start quickly. Foul by Joe Allen on Snodgrass. Norwich

free kick. Gerrard organising. Luis Suarez with the header, Howson

gets to it first. Hooper! Leroy Fer, blocked again, by Gerrard this time.

It was a big chance for Norwich. Well, unlucky Norwich. Rate

encouragement for them. Two great blocks from Joe Allen.

Some encouragement for the home fans, who were on their feet over in

that corner of the ground. Given away by Johnson. Nathan Redmond,

suddenly posing a threat. Pushed away by Mignolet. It moved in the

air. Liverpool's first objective for the

season looks like it is going to be met today, with victory here

assuring them of a place in the Champions League. What a pass from

Suarez. Raheem Sterling! Fantastic pass from Luis Suarez to Coutinho.

Here come Norwich, with Nathan Redmond.

Joe Allen has been doing a great defensive job, with the header.

Whittaker to Redmond. Whittaker continued his run. Skrtel with yet

another header. Goalkick. Again, good play from Norwich. The home

supporters are appreciative of the fact that they are asking some real

questions of Liverpool. It is a Norwich throw. Whittaker. In

the box is Howson. Johnson arriving. Mignolet has missed it. And Gary

Hooper has scored for Norwich! They deserve that. They have started the

second half really strongly, and Liverpool have cracked. Mignolet

came for it, Johnson jumped with the 'keeper. And it was put into the

back of the net by Hooper. They have got the impetus, they have got the

crowd behind them, they have got the goal. No one said it was going to be

easy to win this Premier League title.

Suarez stood brilliantly! Just wide. That would've been a huge settler

for Liverpool. Johnson has given it away to Raheem

Sterling. Could be trouble. Lucas arriving. Still Sterling. Deflected

and in! Huge stroke of luck for Liverpool. It has bounced off

Bradley Johnson, and the heavens are looking down favourably upon

Liverpool here. Johnson gave it away, and the chase was on. Sterling

decided to go alone. A massive stroke of good fortune for

Liverpool. You would still say there are more goals in this game. Leroy

Fer. Good ball. Snodgrass. Well hit! Good strike by Snodgrass. Well, you

have got to hand it to Norwich, they are giving it everything they have

got. Well hit by Redmond! Well, how is

your luck? The deflection at the other end brought Liverpool a third

goal, and this deflection could have gone anywhere.

It came off the shoulder of the skipper, and it has not all been

plain sailing, this sequence of ten consecutive Premier League

victories. And this has been nervous at times for Liverpool as well. And

they are not quite home yet. Howson. Cross from also. And the header is

in, Robert Snodgrass! Fantastic header. What a header from

Snodgrass. They have hope again. Liverpool have never been able to

quite shake off Norwich, who have been excellent. Redmond, good ball!

Mignolet with the save from van Wolfswinkel. You have got to feel

sorry for the guy, he just can't score. It is a slender lead for

Liverpool. Moses. Great challenge, but the ball has not gone out. Here

is Luis Suarez. Suarez! Brilliant save. Lucas! Well, if Liverpool do

not win this game, what a moment this could be. Practically four onto

one here. Sakho is there, and Sterling is

therefore Liverpool. And it is a free kick to Norwich. This is it

now. John Ruddy is coming forward. There are 30 seconds to go.

John Ruddy is trying to race back. Whittaker has done ever so well for

Norwich. Bradley Johnson scooping it in. Glen Johnson mashes it

downfield. And the referee, Andre Marriner, has put the whistle to his

lips, and Liverpool have got the win that they needed! But what a

performance from Norwich City. They have taken Liverpool every single

inch of the way. Liverpool are seven points away from their first title

since 1990. In the second half, phenomenal

effort from the players. To be 2-0 down against a team which is

competing and likely to win the Premier League, and to push them as

hard as we did, I could not ask any more from them, and we have to take

it into the last three games. We have shown that when we have to dig

in, we can do that. We showed great determination today. Performances

are one thing, but we have got to get the points. But the belief and

the conviction is certainly there. We are 100% committed to staying in

the division. It is not a position that we may be thought we would be

in at this stage of the season that we have got quality throughout the

team. Some of the players we have got, and some of the performances we

have been putting on, particularly in the second half of the season, it

has been great to be a part of. A massive congratulations to the

players, our objective was to qualify for the Champions League, it

was always going to be an incredibly tough task because of the

competition and this level. But after this victory, we can finish

any lower than third, which means we are in the group stages. We now go

into the next three games, looking to perform well and continue with

the winning run. They gave it a good go today,

Norwich, but where they let down by the first 15 or 20 minutes? They

gave it a good go in the second half, but they gave themselves a

mountain to climb in the first because Liverpool were brilliant.

Norwich set a bit wrong. You either drop-off or press, and they were

caught in between. drop-off or press, and they were

caught in Oceans of space for Joe Allen to go into. Out to Flanagan,

no pressure. Seven or eight passes by this stage. It comes to Sterling

and he has eight players in front of him, so tactically they are in a

good position, but if you are going to press the ball, you know he is

right footed. The centre half dozen get a block, and that's a brilliant

strike but it can be avoided. -- doesn't get a block. They are

pressing the ball but without any place or aggression. It's a bit like

a testimonial. Liverpool are doing what they want. He comes over and

does not do anything. Flanagan goes past like is not even there, all too

easy. Classic midfield run now. Track the runner. The right back is

terrible position on the centre half is dragged out. What a pass from

Sterling, but Luis Suarez, in the box, you are for trouble. This is

2-0 down, and this is basic midfield play. Leroy Fer lets him go, should

be game over. This is complete lack of communication. There are two

strikers 40 or 50 yards from the midfield. Nobody telling them to

drop-off. What the good players do? They pass around you, dominate the

game. In the first 20 minutes, Liverpool blew them away. They did

start to get some conviction. There was a sense around the place, having

had a lot of negativity at Caro Road, it did feel more positive.

Definitely the fans were with Neil Adams's team. Redmond on the

left-hand side was a problem and they came back into it. The second

half performance, they will be pleased. It was a good response. But

really, it's easy sometimes to play well when the game is almost over,

and that 2-0, Liverpool were superb. There is less stress on you, nothing

to lose? You think, we will try and get the ball and make things

happen. The difficult thing under pressure is to get on the ball when

it is 0-0 and make a difference. There was no Henderson, no Daniel

Sturridge, and we've spent a lot of time on the show over the course of

the season lording Daniel Sturridge, Gerrard, Luis Suarez, so if we're

looking at other players. Joe Allen, Flanagan, Skrtel, who has been a

regular and doesn't get the praise. You were impressed with all of them.

Without doubt, and the manager takes credit. Flanagan playing as a right

footed left back. Beautiful with his parting. He's developed

fantastically, almost a fan on the pitch -- beautiful with his passing.

Skrtel dominates at the back. Joe Allen coming in, with the little

five yard passes, the workrate. When you are in a team that keeps winning

and your squad members come in and do well, there is a feeling of

invincibility that starts to make you think you can trust each other

in the big moments, and they did that today. Liverpool's win rate is

80% with Flanagan, without him, 60%. When Martin said a fan on the pitch,

you had a wry smile, because you will be thinking of Jamie Carragher.

He is like that. He plays with passion and he epitomises what

Liverpool is all about. The other point that is important, when they

change players, it doesn't seem to change the way they play, but even

when they tweak the formation, they still play with that flair and

freedom and try to win the game. They don't mind conceding one or

two. Brendan have the problem without Anderson and storage --

without Henderson and Daniel Sturridge. But it was seamless, and

the way they passed the ball it was seamless. They score more goals in

the team with Joe Allen, then a player comes in who has been in a

lot, and then once they own the trust, you trust the more, and it

becomes seamless. It's the strength of the squad that will win the

Premier League. That is what it was of the squad that will win the

like in my day. New players have to come in and earn your trust, because

you feel you have come in and earn your trust, because

set of players every week, but it spreads through the group that there

is an invincibility about you. There is a major emotion riding around

Liverpool may have to hold themselves together. A huge game

next weekend, but they're doing it nicely. Seven days break between

every game and everyone is playing their part. Brendan Rodgers also

brought in players, and he deserves credit this, some knew how he played

anyway, and others he knew would be able to do what he wanted -- credit

for this. That is the clever thing in player recruitment, getting

players capable of performing to the tactics you want and he chose those

players. Liverpool are five points clear because of what happened to

Chelsea yesterday at Sunderland, as Jose Mourinho's unbeaten home record

in charge of Chelsea in the Premier League disappeared.

They got off to a great start, and you would have thought they were on

the three points. All smiles on the bench, happy days. They disappeared

later. They certainly did. They committed men on the box to get onto

the edge, but Connor Wickham, he has done brilliant. That gave Sunderland

real confidence in the game. This was the elbow from Ramirez which is

one of the negatives. He was very lucky to stay on the pitch. --

Ramires. Mike Dean is following the ball, you can see by the angle of

his head. We can debate this until the cows come home. I have the

strong opinion that he has been brought down. He wipes out with the

trailing foot. Azpilicueta has panicked and he's given away a

penalty for me. At this particular angle you can just see Altidore's

leg. As he slips, the left leg sort of treads on him, so I'm not sure

that is a penalty. It's a well taken penalty, but if you think it is or

it is not, it shows that it's not conclusive. I understand why the

referee gave it, and I've seen it maybe four times, but there's no

need for this. This is crazy. He's doing himself no favours. He's going

to get punished on the club will get a bad name. That is one of

football's great record, an incredible amount of games unbeaten

at home. We talk about stress in the title run-in and the relegation

issues, but Brendan Rodgers said after the match today, he spoke

about the Hillsborough memorial service and he said that today he

used some words from the Hillsborough campaign from Margaret

Aspinall and he put them up in the dressing room. She talked about

stress and how it can prove difficult, but it can offer you

great determination to fight, and that is what we gave the players

today. Liverpool is in -- an incredible club and we are fighting

to achieve the ultimate goal. There is a sense of togetherness in

Liverpool. And they stress they are using it in a positive way.

People talk about fate sometimes, and I'm a big believer in it. The 25

years since the Hillsborough tragedy, I think it is meant to be.

The players and manager deserve great credit in recent weeks and not

letting that become an obstacle. In fact they have embraced it, taking

it on and used the emotion and support to make their performance is

better. -- taken it on. I feel proud to be a former member of that club

and look at what they are achieving with the help of the support. The

whole city, maybe not the Everton fans behind them, but we both played

in the city, and it's a real hotbed. They are carried along on

this incredible emotion there at the moment, and that is what the other

teams are up against, this extra force which is driving them to the

target. Let's show you how the papers tomorrow are reporting the

Liverpool victory at Norwich. That is the daily mirror there. We

have to give some credit for the headliner -- the Daily Mirror.

After the midweek games which saw Arsenal win and Everton lose, Arsene

Wenger's men went a point clear in fourth and were hoping to extend

that to four points in the cup final rehearsal today. Jonathan Pearce was

at the KC Stadium. Only one side has lost the dress

rehearsal and won the final itself. Today will have a significant impact

in the league. Hull City need another victory for safety and

Arsenal cannot drop points in the chase for the Champions League

places. Shane Long and Jelavic are recalled as they go for a bold

formation. Elmohamady is slotting deeper into full-back. Ozil is back

for Arsenal after five weeks out with a hamstring injury. Aaron

Ramsey gets his first league start since his Boxing Day injury. And

Macho monorail -- Monreal's return is handy. Hull City remember Andy

Davidson, their record club appearance holder, who passed away

at the age of 81 earlier this week. Arsenal looking for six successive

wins against Hull City. And the wind here has absolutely destroyed the

advertising hoardings and sent them cascading out onto the pitch like so

many huge dominoes. That is one way to endorse a product. There they go.

The assistant referee fortunate to get away with that. He thinks it's

funny. Four League wins for Arsenal, 16 points from 36 undermining their

title credentials. A little slip in the box there. I wonder if Ozil was

tripped. Oh, that is a penalty. There is certainly contact there. It

was Elmohamady. He capped the ankle, and Hull City have got away

with one. The first goal in this is absolutely vital. Arsenal have won

18 of their 20 league games when they have scored first. Strong run

from Ozil. Slipped away from Arteta. Long was braver and stronger in the

challenge, and then Mertesacker has brought Jelavic. -- brought down

Jelavic. Let's look at the first one. Don't think there was much in

that. He might have lost a tooth. He did, as he fell on the ball. The

referee got it right. Sliding through the channel, and it has

slithered away. The goalkeeper sprawling, from Jelavic. A simple

move by Hull City, and Arsenal simply switched off. He qualified

his applause for the team's success at Wembley last week by saying they

made more mistakes in the first half against Sheffield United than they

had done in the last six months put together. He also said he was

prepared to go with two men up front and have a go at Arsenal, and they

are certainly doing that. They are putting them under pressure high up

the pitch. Arteta through. Ramsey. Can he get it wide? Pdolski is

there. Podolski Good break. Had choices. Much too near Harper, the

shot. Well one by Livermore. The keeper

thought about coming, then went back. Could that be fatal. Long. No,

no, no. Players were arriving, belatedly, it has to be said. He

might not have seen them coming. I is on the goal, then blazing over.

He knows how important that could be -- his eyes on the goal. If Arsenal

do finish in the top four, then Hull City would be in Europe. Through

their appearance in the FA Cup final. They would go into the EU

Roper -- Europa League. Cazorla. Lovely finish. Arsenal lead 1-0.

Half an hour played. First movement of genuine quality we have seen from

them. Where would Arsenal be in the Premier League if Aaron Ramsey had

stayed fit? On the edge of the box, saw the opportunity, and fed so

neatly, and finished so succinctly. 14 goals for him this campaign, and

how Arsenal have missed their dynamic Welshman. Brought neatly

under control by James Chester, the former Manchester United youngster.

The ball released into Meyler, and arriving was Livermore! That is

unlucky. Really unlucky, the man on loan from Spurs. Meyler's touch took

it into his path, it was curving away from Szczesny, Arsenal saved by

the woodwork. No free kick. Cazorla. Ozil. Waiting

for support to arrive. Good ball into the box. Podolski! That is a

terrific second goal for Arsenal. Hull believe they should have had a

free kick. That is where they think they should have had the free kick,

for the challenge by Arteta on Jelavic. The referee was

well-positioned to see it. It was played wide to Giroud. Podolski

hammered it in. Arsenal move a step nearer the

Champions League. Is this a foul? I do not think so. I think Jelavic

goes down too easily, looking for it. Arsenal have won these weak of

the 20 league games when they have scored first. -- won 18 of the 20

league games. Podolski, surely! It is three. Hull

City were opened up at the back by the clever movement of Arsenal.

Ramsey started it off. Cazorla was at the heart of everything. There he

goes. He saw Ramsey arriving, but that all ski was left all alone. --

but Podolski was left. What Hull City will not want is a

drubbing at the hands of Arsenal. Unbelievable! It was a bizarre

moment. The wind caught the ball and it just came away from the

goalkeeper? No, complete misjudgement by the veteran

goalkeeper. And Giroud, having chased down the back pass, but the

goalkeeper under pressure, but hit the bar.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, too strong for Elmohamady initially. Gets the free

kick. I think when Oxlade-Chamberlain

could not get any advantage, he gets the free kick. I wonder if Cazorla

will go for this. Into the box, Mertesacker! Facing away from goal,

but the header flew over. What a proud moment it will be for him,

leading his team out at Wembley for the cup final. But he says, there

are more immediate tasks in hand. The shot from Ramsey. The referee

allowed things to go on, because for me, Oxlade-Chamberlain was tripped.

The first contact was outside the box. Davies has gone back with him.

Oh, that is a penalty. The first time Arsenal have hit three away

from home since Boxing Day, against West Ham. Hull more than matched

Arsenal in the opening 20 minutes. You never know what might have

happened, Livermore hit the post, let's not forget. But as a contest,

the game was over on 54 minutes, when Arsenal got their third.

Well done today. It was a difficult game. First half, I think our

defenders kept us well in the game. We always looked dangerous when we

went into their half. In the second half, after the third goal, we

controlled the game. It feels good to be back. It was very frustrating

being out for three months looking on from the stands. I am delighted

to be back. Hopefully I can put in some more good performances. A big

point in the game was just before half-time, and in my opinion, it is

a free kick. They have gone up the other end and scored. Everybody in

the ground thought it was a free kick. And we have probably switched

off, because all of us thought it was. You are scratching your head

thinking, we have not played too badly, and we are 2-0 down. You

think what might have been if you had been fit from Christmas

onwards? Absolutely, I have thought about that. But that is football for

you. Things happen. What could have been, you know. But it is important

to move on. We are in this situation now, so it is important to fight for

fourth. And we still have the cup final to go for. It could be a very

successful season. We will talk about the cup final in

a moment. The most important thing there was Jonathan Pearce asking

that question in French! His side were in control? Yes, I thought Hull

started rightly, Shane Long was causing some robins with his runs in

behind. But when Arsenal started laying the ball around, with Ozil

back, giving them some class, Ramsey, back to his normal self, and

overall, it was a comfortable victory. Aaron Ramsey, impressive,

to say the least? He has come back as if he has not been away, in terms

of his performance. His maturity, his choice of pass, his confidence.

He wants to drive into forward positions. This was early in the

game, he wants to get into that position, alongside Giroud. That was

an early warning, and they did not heed it. This time Giroud comes

wide, so he recognises that he needs to get central. First of all, he

needs to make the pass. You can see him just drifting in. Great hall

from Ozil. He knows he has got to travel on, and he tucks it away

beautifully. That is the confidence he has. We know about his energy,

his willingness to get on the end of things. Again, he gets into a

central position, and this time he was the provider. And here years, he

finds himself as the furthest forward. He waits for his colleagues

to get into a forward position. Nice and patient, looking for space. Look

at the space he is in. He picks his finish. Good save from the 'keeper,

and Podolski is there again. He is scoring the goals, if he had been

there for much of the season, he was probably on course to be the young

Player of the Year. But now he is back, there is something there for

Arsenal. A couple of weeks ago, after they have lost at Everton, we

were sitting here with John Hartson and Neil Lennon, and they were

highlighting how Arsenal had lacked that player to get in behind. Yes,

people talk about it a lot. Running in behind does not mean you have to

be the quickest player on the pitch. I worked with a wonderful

coach called Wally Moran at Liverpool, and he was obsessed with

third man running. He said to me, you do not need pace, you need in

tension and desire and timing. -- Ronnie Moran. Probably the best

example of that over the years has been the best goal-scoring

midfielder the Premiership has ever seen, Frank Lampard. I think with

Giroud, he is not the kind of striker who comes up with a piece of

brilliance, you need people to arrive quickly around him. Aaron

Ramsey gives that balance to the team. Will that performance have any

effect on Hull City for the cup final? Personally, as a player, if I

have taken a beating, and had a bad performance, and another team has

done well against me, that would fire me up. It can work the other

way. But it is a different game, it is Wembley, it is a cup final. I

would not be surprised if Steve Bruce change his formation. Shane

Long has gone off injured, that was a big low. I think the cup final

will be somewhat different. Same result, but somewhat different! He

is biased! Yes, he is. There is no Jelavic, and no Long, which is a big

problem. You have not just cottoned on to the fact that he is biased,

have you? Not just for Arsenal, for everybody he has played for. Moving

on, that result meant Everton went into their match today four points

off fourth, with their old boss coming back to Goodison Park.

COMMENTATOR: Puncheon! It is 2-0! Good effort! It is a big setback in

their quest for a top four finish. So, a sticky situation for Everton,

and the last thing you want is your previous manager coming back to

haunt you. Moyes's United side have finally found some form, having hit

eight goals in their last two PL matches. So this could be a really

tough test for Martinez's men. Your commentator at Goodison Park is Guy

Mowbray. And David Moyes departed less than a year ago. There were

tears then. Now, his return to Goodison Park is met with a few

jeers as well. It is the way of the game, layers and managers move on,

fans never stray. Roberto Martinez has made two changes from

Wednesday's shock defeat here to Crystal Palace. James McCarthy and

Steven Naismith have come back into the side. For Manchester United, no

Vidic or Evra. But Jonny Evans comes back in for his first game since the

start of February, and Nani, his first start since December.

These two met in the 35th game of the season two years ago, and

treated us to a 4-4 draw at Old Trafford. Those two dropped points

for Manchester United went some way to them not winning the title. In

towards Mirallas. It has dropped to Barkley! He could not quite get to

it in time. The ball was bouncing and making it difficult to shoot.

Good attacking full-back play from Coleman. Ross Barkley, one of those

will he or won't he go to Brazil players. Roberto Martinez said there

was fear and anxiety against Crystal Palace, but he said, they have

shared those feelings and got through them, and now they are gone.

Very 21st century. Looking for Naismith! Evans got in the way.

Naismith and Lukaku both turned and asked Mark Clattenburg to consider

handball. But you cannot really get your arm out of the way in that

situation. Lukaku. Naismith! He had time to set himself! Well, he has

been in such good form, Steven Naismith, scoring in three of the

last four games. He has scored in the last two here at Goodison. That

was the best chance of the game for either side so far. There is the man

in charge of working the strikers at Goodison Park, and he will work

them. That was threatening to be the best

move of the match so far. Everton now on the break. Lukaku. Mark

Clattenburg has given a penalty! Yellow card for Phil Jones. Handball

is the call. Everton have a chance from the penalty spot to take the

lead. Evans was given the swerve by

Lukaku. One of the easier ones that any referee would call. And a chance

for Leighton Baines from the penalty spot. I read somewhere that they had

not scored a penalty against Manchester United in -- since 1972,

a spot kick from Joe Royle. Leighton Baines. Straight through David De

Gea. The Everton boy blue, wanted so badly by Manchester United last

summer, wanted by David Moyes. Now he has damaged him. Baines just hit

it hard and low and true. Phil Jones gave him the chance, and he's taken

it. Everton lead. Kagawa. It will break for Alex

Buttner. McCarthy was lunging into the tackle. The penalty has given

Everton believed, and straightaway David Moyes wanted a penalty in

return for that. McCarthy was risking it, the way he went flying

in. And we have gone from absorbing up to exciting very quickly.

Manchester United threatening to end the first half strongly through

Fletcher and one matter. -- Juan Mata. Mata clattered into Leighton

Baines, but he groggily gets to his feet. He finds mirror lass, and

morale as scores. -- he finds Mirallas and Mirallas scores. A fine

finish. The referee has words with Mata, but Everton have forgotten

about that already. They just got on with things. A really good advantage

played. Mirallas is onside. It is the left back, Alex Buttner, who is

responsible for that. And Mirallas just cuts the ball across David De

It is an outstanding result, the first time we have done the double

over Manchester United since 1969, so that tells us how much hope is in

the squad. But overall the performance, three games in a daze,

and the way we managed the games, the way we coped was phenomenal --

three games in eight days. We had a lot of the ball, a lot of the

passing, we controlled the ball. But we did not have the cutting edge. We

were vulnerable to a counterattack, and we gave away two dreadful goals.

I take it you have no argument with the decision? If the goalie made

that save with his arm, you would be pleased. To be fair, Everton had

hardly been in our half, we have had so much of the ball. We were the

better team and we came in 2-0 down at half-time. But we got done by

counterattacks. That is part of football. Scoring goals is the job,

and we didn't do it. The penalty blasted right down the middle. It

was just control. I decided beforehand that I would go down the

middle as I haven't done it so far this season. It was nice to see it

going. After my last one, it was my son who had told me I hadn't done it

this season, and it was his advice to go down the middle for one, and

it worked. If you play for Manchester United, every game is

important. Every team we play is a tough game. We will do everything we

can to remain -- when the remaining four games. First things first,

let's see what both games do for the race for the fourth place, and it

takes Manchester United mathematically out of it. And it is

They have got games on paper which they might feel like they could win.

To go to Stamford Bridge and do what they did, if you can win there, you

can win anywhere. So, after all of that today - you can make your own

mind up on whether anything has become clearer.

They have completed daily double over United for the first time since

1969-70. -- completed a league double. Liverpool's lead over

Chelsea is now five points. They take Chelsea next Sunday. That is at

Anfield. Manchester City will rely on Liverpool slipping up. They play
