First stop, the King Power, where West Ham were the latest team

to go toe-to-toe with Leicester City - a team who, all season, have been

be to win three more? In the coming weeks were going to find out. One

thing is sure, West Ham are not here to form a guard of honour for any

champions elect. In a frenzied atmosphere it is perhaps ironic that

the most surprising title favourites ever have long since stopped

surprising anybody. It is the same Leicester team for the sixth game

running and they will play the same way. But try stopping them. Try

scoring against them. Eight hours and ten minutes since Leicester last

conceded. There are a few surprises in the West Ham team. No Lanzini, no

Andy Carroll, both on the bench. Five changes in all. And there he

proudly stands, the wiliest, Foxy -ist Box of them all. -- Fox. West

Leicester City will be in the Champions League next year. Will

they be there as champions of England?

Emenike for West Ham. Victor Moses was tripped by Drinkwater. West Ham

Payet curls it in and it goes a long way and it hits the inside of the

Great chance for Robert was. -- Robert close. He would be

disappointed not to score for that. That would have been a huge settle

for Leicester who had a nervous start to the game. It is a free

They have been tested today, no question about that, in the first 18

or 19 minutes of the game, but they have come up with the perfect

response. Leicester lead. But was thereof foul right at the start of

going on in there, but look at that, Morgan on Winston Reid. That is what

he has given it four. It is a penalty to West Ham United, which

fans alike. The first Leicester have conceded since the first day of

March. Those were two big decisions from Jonathan Moss. Neither have

gone Leicester's way. Payet. Half blocked by Fuchs. They don't want to

referee and the referee says no. Well, Huth has been involved in

what an incredible climax to this game. 1-0 up. Then Vardy off. And

two minutes and ten seconds that changed the game. The penalty and

Cresswell's strike but right at the end it is a draw, Leicester 2, West

Ham 2. We have one point more now. It was so hard but this team is

unbelievable. Always fighting, playing together. Helping each

other. It is unbelievable. For that I enjoy playing with this team. Do

you feel that Jamie Vardy was unlucky to be sent off? Well, never

I speak about the decision of the referee. The referee watch two

yellow cards, OK. That's T There was every set piece, an awful lot going

on inside penalty areas. So, difficult to know if it is a penal

agree with you. All gym, even the first half when I was watching, they

had their hands all over him at the top. Dragging him down, pulling him

about. Corners. I'm surprised he didn't give it earlier, our pen, and

wasn't. It was extremely hard for the referee. I mean it is no

penalty. It is hard for him. For 90 minutes, every contact in the box,

shouts of "handball", "cheat" or "penalty", it is very hard to be a

ref, very, very hard. Do you feel that he was influenced by the

atmosphere, the occasion, the crowd? ? ? And now people say he shouldn't

be. It is OK. It is easy to say but this is real life and it is hard, it

was hard for him. Let's deal with that point first of

think he was influenced by the atmosphere around the plains around

Leicester's title push? I think the inconsistencies are were mind

boggling from the referee and as a consequence the atmosphere ramped up

and he couldn't handle the pressure. You don't think he could deal with

Vardy's sending off for two yellow cards. Snuk not say he was over

hyped. That's how he placed. This one for me, he could have got booked

with that. But this one, he hasn't touched him. When we see it in the

other angle, he doesn't touch him. Then he falls over him there. That's

what he has been booked for. This is the penalty. Now for me, Jamie Vardy

has dived there. He has taken a dive. When we see it at the other

angle, I know he is upset and so he should be, but for me, you look at t

he is looking at him to hold him off it get to the ball but he has got

his legs tangled. For me it is a dive. Do you think, Alan, he has

tried to make contact with Ogbonna and then - I mean do you think he

has dived? I do. As much as we want to criticise the referee, I think

jail joy Vardy has to take a bit of criticism. -- I think Jamie. There

was no need for him to die. He was the wrong side of the defender. He

was expecting contact. It didn't come. - there was no need for him to

dive. There was a pirouette in there as he was going over. It changed the

dynamic of the game. The crowd was up. West Ham started to play more

football. If he stays on the pitch, Leicester will win. He will get a

one-match ban for that however if the referee includes in his report

the pointing and his discussion with him after he received the red card

and if that is concluded it could be a further ban, similar to Diego

Costa in the Cup for Chelsea. That could be worse news for Leicester.

On to the penalty that West Ham got. I will sit back. Ian will sit back,

away you go. Well, I'm staggered that the referee chose the 34th game

of the season for Leicester to make this point. This goes on, it has

gone on not only today, but all season and will continue to go on

until all referees make the point. If - I mean he actually gave the

softest penalty which we are going to is he - there were far worse

incidents. He warns them after half time, Robert Huth and Morgan comes

in. You can see him speaking to them. There is no need to give a

warning. If it is a penal particulars give a penalty. --

penalty, give a penalty. You don't get a warning outside of the box. He

warned them. There is pushing and shoving. Reid gets another shove. He

looks at the referee. The referee has his eye on T straight away and I

think Reid goes over easier than he should have anyway. He gives them a

little - well, he pulls him back a bit but Reid goes further. So he

dives also I think and the referee is straight on it. As I say, it was

going on all day. His arms are on him. Well, all right there is going

to be contact in the penalty box, Chappers, it doesn't matter whether

your arm is on him. I don't think it was enough for a penal ti. There are

far worse in the game. Reid goes forward there. . Carroll sticks the

penalty away superbly well. There was earlier in the game, Ogbonna. If

he has given a pebblety how come that isn't? Honestly, it is mind

boggling. -- he - if he has given a penalty there. Nothing on this. This

is the last two or three minutes on Ogbonna on Huth, when he has already

given a penalty. He should be looking out for things like this.

How come that's not a penalty. It is bizarre. Absolutely bizarre. Andy

Carroll says in his post-match interview that they felt once they

got the penalty and the red card went to Jamie Vardy, the ref would

look to equal things up. When you look at this penalty and see how

soft it is and Andy Carroll knowing the ref might be doing that, when

you know where he goes in now Schlupp, Andy Carroll coming towards

him, he has given the referee the opportunity to give a penalty. He

has not done anything. Schlupp is looking to just get into the box.

Andy Carroll has lit realliy made contact. -- literally. People can

say it is a bit... It is never, ever a penalty. He is looking to even it

up. I think he realises he made a mistake when he gave Huth the

penalty and he is looking to even it up. If you were Andy Carroll, and

you were thinking the referee is going to even it up, would you have

gone? I wouldn't want to be anywhere near it. I will go down to the

defender that is there anyway. He is going away from goal. Shephard him

down. He has come in and given him the opportunity to give a pen. One

final thing on the ref, players are pulling and shoving at corners. They

are diving we are trying to say. They are trying to influence the

referee when he has given a penalty to one team - it is going on across

the whole of the Premier League - you wouldn't be a referee, would

you? I wouldn't. It is very difficult. Impossible. They will get

some things right and some wrong, surely. I will go back to my point.

Why, in the 4th game of Leicester's season has he chosen to make that

point today. -- 34th game. Why don't they make it at the start, go into

all the dressing rooms and say - we are going to clamp this out

completely. So don't complain. Not in the 34th game. So the referee has

given that penalty today. The referee should be giving three or

four penalties every game if he is going to give penalty for that

today. Shall we move on to a pos I have T he scares you. It was --

positive. He scarce you. We are not going to show Cresswell's goal but

we will show you Kasper Schmeichel's save in the first half. It was

sensational. We were sat watching this. It was a top-class save with

his finger nails. We looked at each other and said - you might as well

give the trophy to Leicester now. On moments like that you just think -

it is meant to be. The fingertips. It is like he hit it by accident. He

is off. He thinks he has scored. It rolls straight back to Kasper

Schmeichel. You know, if they do go on to do t you have to say that save

played a massive part in T -- if they do go on to do it.

Next to the Emirates and there is only one man in this

studio qualified to talk up this game.

Arsenal, Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace, Arsenal. These are my names.

I played with Pards. One win will be killing him. I have played with the

other manager. It will be killing him. A win for Palace they will be

mathematically safe. It has been a long time since they beat the

Gunners. I remember it. I played. A win for Arsenal and they could still

finish above Spurs. You just never know.

COMMENTATOR: Petr Cech returns in goal after a calf injury but that's

the only change for the sides that dropped points at West ha. Danny

Welbeck preferred to Olivier Giroud upfront. 38 points should be enough

to secure safety for Palace but rare success here wouldn't go amiss. They

That could have been a lot worse as the talented teenager prepared to

guide this goal wards. Hennessey wasn't required in the

end. The referee takes a tumble. He bounces back to his feet. Most

impressively there. Now was there a coming together at that last Arsenal

corner? Koscielny man handled there by Delaney. Went unnoticed by the

officials. Koscielny for Ozil. Now San shes, back for Ozil. Ozil and

Sanchez have threatened occasionally to do this. Ozil on the stretch. It

was on target at least but comfortable for Hennessey to get his

sizeable frame in the way. He whips it in. Wickham gets his

head to it. He has been praying for that kind of delivery throughout the

first half, Connor Wickham. Two minutes of added time at the end of

the first half. Mesut Ozil for Arsenal. In the way of going down.

Welbeck chips. The header and Arsenal lead. 22 seconds into added

time at the end of the first half. It is another goal for Sanchez. His

third in the last three outings. Palace dilly dallying with it on the

edge of their own penalty area. Welbeck's delivery. Sanchez at last

gets in behind Souare to maximum effect and Palace, who was defended

so, so well for so, so long, have a brain breeze right at the end of the

first half. So, a second goal for Arsenal might be enough to put the

game to bed swiftly. Souare with the chance to cross. Cabaye almost

cleared that. Welbeck will have to chase that, which of course he will.

And with his feet he will keep it in. He will be in support.

Beautiful play. Welbeck goes for goal. Good link-up. An awful lot to

aim for there with so many Palace players backmarking two Arsenal

colleagues. Clipped by Ledley. Yellow card being

brought out here for the Welshman. The first booking of the afternoon.

Ozil goes for it. Hennessey flying across his line was concerned. How

close was this? Not far away at all. Well listen to this. Emmanuel

Adebayor, certainly used to be public normy number one in these

parts. I think he still has the title but he is on to try to find an

equaliser for Crystal Palace and try to force his way into the starting

line-up at Wembley in a week's time. Elmeny, and a foul. Ozil is over the

set piece. Here is Adebayor, who clears, but not very far. Hooked

effort saved Hennessey. Now Elmeny. Appeals for handball from one or two

in Arsenal red. Quickly waved away by the referee. Adebayor thought he

had cleared but it dropped to Welbeck and Hennessey was on top of

him in a flash, and then Elmeny's shot lacked pace. The appeals for

handball fell on deaf ears. Monreal. Running away from Ledley.

The whistle does go. That was after what seemed to be an awful long

time. Quick free kick from Ozil, and Sanchez with a flying header just

wide of the far post. Who is this heading machine? Has he been

watching Andy Carroll's hat-trick from last week? Looking to late for

Monreal. -- lay it off. Thunderous cross. Way off target. Adebayor for

Palace. This is what the Arsenal fans fear. Him having a role in a

Crystal Palace comeback. Held up by Gabriel, but he has the ball.

Cech at the near post, and Crystal Palace have levelled. It was always

a possibility as long as it stayed 1-0 to the Arsenal. Adebayor put in

the hardship to take the ball upfield but this is a too horrific

finish by Bolasie. Could not have placed it any better. Eight horrific

finish. Such was the pace in the shot he

could not keep it out, and Bolasie, straight across to his manager, the

man that believes in him so much. Our Crystal Palace going home with a

rare point from the Emirates? Petr Cech would be happy with his attempt

at keeping it out. He's been a virtual spectator throughout the

afternoon, and when he was needed, he was found wanting. Stopped by

Zaha, who will look to run beyond Monreal, and he might succeed.

Adebayor is up with him. He might not need him. He might not need him

at all. Now he might need him. A good pass, and Adebayor was in. Zaha

did not get his head up the chance has gone. What a story that might

have been. What a chance for Zaha. Came through two challenges and then

got the lucky ricochet. One pass, and Adebayor was in.

Could the goalkeepers have done better with that today? It has not

been unstoppable but maybe he was surprised by the shot and we could

have stopped a shot at the corner as well. I don't know. It is difficult

to blame any individuals. We win together and we are disappointed

together. You could argue he might have saved it but it was a fair hit

when he might have expected it to go the other side. It was a timely goal

and an important point for us, because that means two of those

teams below us have to get to 40 with our goal difference, so that

will be difficult to them, I think, so we can breathe a little bit

easier and we can look forward to a semifinal. We need to have some

momentum going into the game in over the last couple of weeks we've

picked up good results and some points to some breathing space.

Hopefully we can put it a good performance against Manchester

United on Wednesday going into the game on Sunday. Does this kill off

any distant chance of winning the league? I don't know.

Mathematically, I can't know the calculation of the moment. We are

too disappointed to think about the championship. We have to fight to be

in the Champions League and we have two comeback in the next game and

focus on that. We will come onto the bigger picture of the game shortly,

but Crystal Palace could have gone in a header half-time and instead

went in behind. They could. Connor Wickham had a fantastic chance. We

saw him against Arsenal, Andy Carroll, and it's the same thing

here. Gabriel gets themselves in all sorts of problems. He is too weak.

Connor Wickham should do better when he's in this position. He has to get

it on target. But he has to clear that, Scott Dann. That is Alexis

Sanchez who scores a goal and when you consider how close he is when

they score, all he needs to do is get his defensive head on and get in

there and stop him. He doesn't do it, and that's all you need, half a

yard. You can see how close they are when they finally score. If he was

more alive, he might stop that, but that is the way it was going for

them. It felt, watching it, as though everything was flat. The

atmosphere was flat. Arsenal were flat. Even Crystal Palace were flat

at times. It needed the introduction of a pantomime villain to get it

going. And we got one, hey presto. It did feel like an end of season

game. When Adebayor came on, the crowd livened up. But he was

integral in the gold. It was fantastic. Picks it up in his own

half. Gabriel, I'm thinking, slide it out. There, there, there. Doesn't

do it and Adebayor holds it up and Bolasie comes in. He wants to come

in on the right foot and you have to say, as much as Alan Pardew hit it

well, that is Petr Cech in gold and he might have expected it to go

across the goal, I would expect to save that. With the way its cover

Arsenal, the fans themselves, a lot of empty seats I saw today. Very

disappointed Arsenal fans and it was that kind of game that summed it up.

Unlike that referee, Jon Moss, they are consistent. Third or fourth

every year. Every season I get berated by Arsenal fans saying they

won't win the league and every year it's right. Not just a Christmas you

get berated by them. Are you surprised at Arsene Wenger's post

match interview? He wasn't sure if mathematically they could win the

title but it was about the Champions League. He doesn't want to say he

does not want to win it. They won't win the league until they sign a

world-class striker. Just a world-class striker? I've said all

season that I thought that they were two top players short and my view

hasn't changed. I've said it all season. Did the win over Norwich

last week and the draw at Arsenal today, as Scott Dann says, does that

give them momentum going into the semifinal? Yes, and I was speaking

to the chairman the other day and he wanted to go into that game knowing

that the Premier League survival was there and I think it is there now

when you consider where Norwich are. I think now they will they can

concentrate on that. Mid to low table and a cup final appearance

would be a successful season. Absolutely.

After Liverpool's amazing Europa League win in midweek,

could Bournemouth do to Jurgen Klopp's side

Such has been the outrageous storylines thrown up elsewhere that

Bournemouth's achievements have been largely overlooked. Eddie Howe's

team are chasing a top half finish in what is the club's first ever

season in the top flight of English football. Liverpool could be three

games away from a Champions League place via the Europa League so it's

no surprise to see Jurgen Klopp ringing the changes. The head of

kick-off, both captains placed a wreath in front of the Liverpool

supporters in memory of the 96 football fans who, on a sunny day,

just like this one, went to follow their team at a game of football but

tragically never return home again. Both sides looking for a strong

close to the season. Eddie Howe says he's not been happy with recent

performances against Tottenham and Manchester City. He says Bournemouth

need to do better against teams in the top third of the league. The

kick was blocked, and Sturridge straight at the goalkeeper. What an

early chance for Liverpool. Elphick and sermon and Sturridge did not

stand on ceremony. He went through first time. And it was against Eddie

Howe in October that Jurgen Klopp got his first ever win manager. --

was the dangerous one, and it was straight at Steve Cook. After the

drama on Thursday night something of the day after the Lord Mayor 's show

path of Firmino and Liverpool, five minutes before half-time, break the

deadlock at Bournemouth. There was a slickness to this Liverpool

build-up. Very straightforward, thrusted into the penalty area by

Ibe. Almost a deceptive pass, and speaking of deceptive, the backheel

from Sturridge. That meant that by rich -- Borwick put it into the path

of Firmino to school and he remains Liverpool's top Premier League

scorer this season -- to score. Lucas, under pressure from King.

Bournemouth appeal for a handball. Lucas does seem to swing his right

arm around towards the ball. He will say he could not get his hand out of

the way. Ibe caught from behind, free kick to

Liverpool. The game is just begin to stretch a little bit now. So, Jordan

Ibe stands over the free kick. Sturridge with the header. Perfectly

placed. He is getting a run in the first

team once again and Liverpool supporters are seeing the benefits

in terms of the goals. Took that very gracefully, Daniel Sturridge,

his ninth in all competitions this season. And he is having a very

strong finish to the campaign. Gosling is in trouble. Joe Allen

their box, especially first half when we found it difficult to get

close to their goal. The second half we did better, especially the last

half hour and Cook has had a chance at the end to snatch. We could have

defended better the first half and played better football. But we were

so good. Looked in so many moments, good tuned. Using Daniels and the

young boys on the wings. All four really running for their lives. It

was really nice to see, using the experience, unbelievable. So it was

Manchester United and their home game against Aston Villa,

who were looking for divine intervention to avoid relegation.
