first half with high standard football. The two guys we

and causing Brazil one or two problems. It has been an

entertaining half. If people were watching on the red button before

the match we spent a lot of time talking about Neymar, not just his

ability but the pressure he is under when he plays at home. What a great

way to alleviate the pressure look at the pass, Marcelo's pass,

what a pass, what a touch and what a strike to finish it off. That is the

goal of the highest quality. technique to keep it up gradually,

the technique is fantastic. The combination is good. Watches

for them if they are willing to run in behind. Is Zaccheroni's thinking

in playing a line that high to try to condense the space that Brazil's

midfield can work in? The reason they are doing that is because of

the forward play. They probably don't trust their four forward

players to give them enough protection going defensively and

that is why they are pushing up there, because if they were to sit

back then the space in there would be huge to create. Of the Japanese

back four are pushing up, the Brazilian fullbacks are pushing up

even further. It is amazing to see the system Brazil are playing. At

times they are playing 3-6-1. The fullbacks go so high, they hold the

midfielders, Paulinho is bobbing forward, when they do lose the ball

they get in fullback positions. Honda from the left with the shot.

That is a negative. The advantage here, Dani Alves gets into the box.

He is so high up the pitch. When we played the manager would say, one

goes forward, the other fullback stays, in this fullback -- in this

formation they both go forward. The defensive midfielder is trying to

get on the end of the shot. It is so expansive, not regimented. It is

great, great play. Marcelo, he ends up putting a great ball into the box

but so expansive from the Scolari team. What I would say is teams

looking at this system, the way Brazil are playing, better teams

than Japan, Italy, Uruguay, Spain, they would be looking and thinking,

how can we exploit that? We will let them come onto us and counterattack

and a team with better ability than Japan, because they have caused them

one or two problems... You exploit the space is the fullbacks create?

You get them come on to you, attack us and then when you win the ball

back you counter attack. A team of Spain's quality could do that.

correct. We also check if the referee watch works over the whole

field, also in combination with the referee communication system, so if

the referees speak to each other, if it gives interference to the

referee's watch, just to cover all match situations. It all comes too

late for Frank Lampard but the hope is others will not suffer the same

technology lead to FIFA increasing technology being used in football
