Hello, good morning, welcome to highlights of day five of the 2014

World Cup. We have three games to bring you, we will focus on Group

E, as France took on one duress -- Honduras. We have to focus here,

where Argentina got their campaign under way against

Bosnia-Herzegovina. Your commentators Mark Lawrenson and

Looking a bit nervous, those Argentine supporters. They are in a

Messi finally rewards them. You would argue he was the only player

on the pitch capable of creating and taking that goal for himself. Seem

to have a bit extraneous stride. A fantastic finish. -- he seemed to

have a bit extra in his stride. This is Leo Messi back to himself. His

last touch taking it away from goal again. Just this one. You do not

save those. Do you know what? He never looked, he knew exactly what

he was going to do with it. You do not see his eyes move at any stage.

This may fall for Aguero a brilliant control. He is running at Kolasinac

Ibisevic made it interesting with a very historic goal for

Bosnia-Herzegovina. Argentina got the victory they wanted, and

expected, not quite in the style they were hoping for, but they have

won their opening game at this World Cup. Despite the defeat, you must be

very proud of the way your team conducted yourselves, and the

performance you gave? I think so, we made the most of the whole

experience, pushing Argentina to the end. We got off to a bad start, that

the less a bit nervous. It was quite an attractive game, we can take a

lot of positives. It was an unfortunate start, unfortunate own

goal, you looked a bit nervous for the first ten minutes after that,

but then you went on, and controlled the game? We made it clear before

the game that different things could happen, we just have to stay

together, make sure we keep playing, because we know we can cause teams

problems. We pushed until the end, were not able to get the second

goal, getting a point, up which we may be deserved. For our first ever

game in the World Cup, with the magnitude, we can be proud. Next up,

to macro two matches from 3p. This is France on against one juror

Honduras. France have used in key areas,

provide Pol Pot but to provide this -- expect Pogba to provide the

flare. Honduras named the same team that drew with England in Miami.

finally ahead. Cleared away by Honduras, all in white. Did so well

in qualifying to finish third behind the USA. Somehow it stayed out. The

goal-line technology has ruled it in. It has gone in. The assistant

referee immediately went back up the touchline. The referee got a signal

and France leave 2-0. It was a dumping finish. Whipped across the

jumped up thinking it was in. Somebody said, you had better not

For the first time ever on the international football stage,

Switzerland and Ecuador step out side-by-side to get their World Cup

under way. This is the way they are lining up today. The fullbacks love

to get forward and a fluid three 4-4-2 that Ecuador.

Swiss beginning to find their feet. Brings out the first save of the

day. Got his left foot curling on the ball but Dominguez was always

behind it. This might be a demanding position for the Swiss defence.

Stephan Lichtsteiner pulled his man to the ground. It is to the right

in what he thought was the goal to put Switzerland ahead. That would

have been a goal by thermic, but it doesn't stand. Cleared away. It was

almost a calamitous moment for the Swiss. It's very nearly ricocheted

in the way of an out -- Valencia again. Ecuador think they can win

this. Valon Behrami has given away the free kick. Powerful effort. The

goalkeeper when the war wrong way in the first instance. But Diego

Benaglio somehow recovered his poise to keep it out. The energy provided

Switzerland the advantage. Maybe they have the sucker punch. They

is another super substitution for Switzerland. The chance had gone

that Ecuador, he took too long over it. Valon Behrami was allowed their

advantage when he was fouled. They have the numbers, they have the

wherewithal and they kept their heads. Rodriguez, a goal provider

and Haris Seferovic, a goal-scorer. After those matches, the French are

top of the table with Switzerland just behind. The two fancied teams

in that group. The interesting thing about today is Lionel Messi has

scored, if you come off the back of Robin van Persie being a

goal-scorer, Rodriguez for Colombia as well. As a fan you want to see

the big players performing. It enhances the World Cup. We have not

seen Portugal yet, Rinaldo. We have not seen Germany. More to come,

hopefully. It deals difference, one of the criticisms of 2010 in South

Africa, is the big names did not really deliver? Yes, watching Lionel

Messi, it is something you will take away from the World Cup. Just that

one moment and hopefully there is more to come. Neymar is just getting

going, but has two goals. As you know Cristiano Ronaldo, has he seen

the other big-name players get up and running in this World Cup? It

will push him on. He will be making sure he wants to get on the

scoresheet. He is driven by this type of stuff. What will it do to

Wayne Rooney as he looks around and seeing all the others delivering? He

will be the same, he will want to get himself alongside those names.

Will he bother as much, because you get the sense Cristiano Ronaldo

might have more vanity than Wayne Rooney? There is a determination

with Wayne Rooney. He will want to deliver. He knows how many goals he

has scored in his career and how many assist. It shows there is a

deep drive inside him. This is the biggest stage and the world and he

will want to come away from this tournament after stamping his name

on the tournament. He will be able to do that in the next game.

England's work will concentrate on how to sort out the left side? I

think so, it was a problem in the first game. They have good coaching

staff and they will work the problems out. I am sure they will be

doing video work, training and getting their shape to nullify those

outcomes. Playing against Uruguay, different proposition and players so

hopefully we won't see that. That is it from others were a bit of Lionel
