Life Here is your work cut replay, hosts Brazil taking on Cameroon in

Brasilia, watched by Steve Wilson. It is a 100 gaming World Cup finals

for all four Brazil who have never failed to get out of a trip stage of

the tournament, since 1966. That is still possible but it is the least

likely scenario as Group A plays out. And except for Cameroon is the

only certainty at kick-off time. Samuel Eto'o is out of the 11 with a

knee injury. Luiz Felipe Scolari confirmed his team yesterday, as is

his won't. It is the same team as beat Croatia in the opening game.

Brazil get the game underway, kicking from right to left, a fifth

meeting between Brazil and Cameroon, three wins to one, the

early success for the Africans coming in the Confederations Cup. It

was 3-0 to Brazil in the World Cup in San Francisco 20 years ago. That

has got to be a free kick on the edge of the penalty area. Some gutsy

defending by Henri Bedimo. The Swedish referee might consider this

to warrant an early yellow card. I think you is going to have a word

with the Cameroon left-back. -- he is. Neymar, on the free kick for

Brazil. Paulinho, David Luiz, David Silva and Fred all inside the

penalty area, with Oscar and Neymar over the ball. Charles-Hubert

Itandje in the Cameroon goal, trying to get a decent view of this. So he

can see what Neymar is doing. Neymar with the ball in over the top of

David Luiz. Dani Alves goes to collect. I think he is onside,

Neymar, great first touch, wonderful ball by Dani Alves, Paulinho has

missed it. Luiz Gustavo arriving. The deflection, and it is out for a

ones from Neymar are causing Cameroon all kinds of difficulties

Great place about the way Brazil have started the game. -- great

good play. Aboubakar. It has been a pacey attacking start

from Brazil. Some good chances in the opening minutes, one from

Paulinho, and one from David Luiz. Hulk. Good first touch. Now running

at Henri Bedimo. It is locked, with Nicholas N'Koulou getting in the

way, and it's a corner to Brazil. Luiz Gustavo, with David Luiz and

Paulinho, Thiago Silva. Neymar, with the corner. And it goes to Itandje,

in the Cameroon goal. That was over hit by Landry N'Guemo. Oscar.

Oscar, not quite strong enough. That was good play by Eyong Enoh. Dani

Alves. Looking for a performance as well as

just victory, Brazil. Marcelo, running out of pitch.

Henri Bedimo as playing left act. He was involved in the previous two

matches. Benoit Assou-Ekotto blotted his copybook by butting his --

head-butting his own player in the defeat to Croatia. That has come off

N'Koulou. Oscar seems slightly reticent to take that on, for

Brazil. David Luiz. That goes behind Fred. Cameroon charge upfield, and

find Aboubakar. Henri Bedimo, the left-back once it and get it, and

did deflection might set up the shot, and it was blocked by Marcelo,

from the shot by Vincent Aboubakar. That was a real chance for Cameroon.

Benjamin Moukandjo with a corner kick for Cameroon. Yet to score a

goal in this World Cup. The corner kick, dealt with by that towering

header by Thiago Silva. Quite lively, Cameroon. They look like

they are in the mood to make some amends for some of their previous

performances. That was blocked by Stephane M'Bia.

Cameroon have possession. Skipping beautifully through. The shot did

not travel far, before it was blocked. Some awkward moments here,

for Brazil. Marcelo, that is a free kick. The card is coming out for

Eyong Enoh. Cameroon is saying Marcelo is making a lot of this.

First yellow card of the game. Marcelo, unsurprisingly, is OK.

Just finding a foothold in the game here, Cameroon, Mbia.

That's a great little ball, cut out by David Luiz. Brazil almost undone

again. Eric Choupo Moting bang in-form. After a slightly rocky

start, Cameroon are now very much in this game and have a free-kick for a

foul on Mbia by Luiz Gustavo. Aboubakar, lurking on the edge of

the penalty area as well. Mbia has it four in green and red. Home fans

think that is at least 10 yards. Good right food he has. A dangerous

ball in. Julio Cesar collects at his feet. That could have been worse.

Good ball in by Moukandjo. He didn't get off the ground. Neymar won't

reach that. Neymar ending up in a posse of

photographers. Neymar is not accepting the apology.

The Swedish referee will have a word with Allan Nyom here. Looks as

though he is getting some instructions from his assistants as

to what exactly happened he has been putting his finger in his ear piece

to try and hear. The it's a talking to Nyom. Neymar is OK. He did push

him though. Playground stuff. Every single photographer missed it. The

picture desks won't be happy with that. That was right in front of

them, and they all missed it! Mbia, winning the header and

possession. The former Liverpool goalkeeper, he didn't play much,

only seven games for Liverpool, leaving under a cloud. Neymar is on

side here. Enoh was lucky, he was the man playing him on. Well won,

Luiz Gustavo. Nicking it away from - and Neymar scores. Le Neymar with

the goal for Brazil! That's exactly what they wanted. The early goal.

The man they wanted to score has got it. Moukandjo dwelling on the ball,

dispossessed, into Neymar's feet, into the back of the Cameroon net.

Brazil 1, Cameroon 0. Horrible moment here for Moukandjo. They

hunted him down and nicked it away. A love composed finish by Neymar.

Luiz Gustavo took it away from Moukandjo, and put it on a plate.

And Neymar moves to three goals for this World Cup.

Came at a good time for them, that goal for Brazil, Cameroon were

beginning to enjoy themselves a little bit. Here's Silva. Neymar

making another run. It's gone out to Oscar. Oscar into Marcelo. It's

blocked by Enoh. Brazil throw. Luiz Gustavo, David Luiz, Thiago

Silva. Great noise now around this fantastic arena. Named after one of

12 months ago, five in five in that tournament, two against Italy, one

against Uruguay and two against Spain in the final. Yet to get off

the mark in this World Cup. Here goes Vincent Aboubakar, running

at the heart of that Brazilian defence. Covered first by Thiago

Silva and then by Paulinho. There is a threat about Cameroon though.

which, if I am not mistaken, came off Thiago Silva, onto his own

crossbar. It was a little off, but not for long. 1-1. -- it was a

at different side, Cameroon, today. The flag goes up. Free kick to

Brazil. There is a pace about Cameroon this evening. And an

intent, that they certainly did not show against Croatia.

This is a much more uncomfortable evening for Brazil than they were

hoping for. 30 minutes played in Brasilia. Group A, coming to its

Brazil only really become vulnerable if they fall behind to Cameroon. And

then in the worst-case scenario jigsaw... Neymar. Always capable of

scoring goals, Brazil, sometimes in the twinkling of an eye.

Marcelo is struggling. He has sliced that behind for a Cameroon corner.

heading wide, I think. It is a Brazilian corner. Well hit, but I

think just heading wide of that right-hand post. Oscar to take this

David Luiz was never getting that. He wrong-footed the goalkeeper, he

put it through the legs of N'Koulou. That was an optimistic drive at goal

by Eyong Enoh. David Luiz, for Brazil.

Choupo-Moting was in the way as Dani Alves was getting forward. Cameroon

have the throw. He has done very well, Allan Nyom,

running at Marcelo. Corner kick to Cameroon. It is hard not to envisage

more goals at both ends in this game. The corner kick has been

taken. It hits the side netting. Oscar, very deep. Hulk, hoping to

get there, and he has lost it, he is awarded a free kick. You would not

argue with the decision. Stephane M'Bia was a big guy, but Hulk is

that little bit eager. -- that little bit bigger.

So Brazil make a change at half-time. Paulinho is replaced by

Fernandinho, the Manchester City player, making his first appearance

in these World Cup finals. Winning an eighth cap.

So Cameroon get the second-half underway.

The ball shattered back off the referee.

He's managed to keep the ball in play, at least. Here's David Luiz.

left-foot, just as he was about to cross with his right.

match against Mexico. Kind of player who, once he starts scoring,

sometimes can't stop. We saw that in the Confederations Cup, a year ago.

the middle. Too far in front of him. Bedimo has kept it away from Hulk.

Salli is replacing him. He is a winger who played at Lens last

season on loan from Monaco in the French top-flight. Henri Bedimo

put four past them. There has not been much to smile

about for Cameroon in this World Cup.

Julio Cesar will immediately want to get Brazil moving, along downfield

ball to Fred, but it was well read by Joel Matip.

Pele. Neymar came close today. Alves with the big clearance. Caught

showing, and the foot raised. Yellow card for Salli. 15 minutes to

go. Oscar. Oh, the defender stumbled,

and fell, the referee decided it was a foul by Oscar. Matip, forward.

That is through to Julio Cesar. 15 minutes to go. Confirmation of

Salli's yellow card. Matip, he's played well.

Good little spell of possession for Cameroon breaks down. Dani Alves has

hoping to be back in four years' time, when he will be 37. Makoun had

a poor spell really at Aston Villa, a period which saw him play only
