Norwich may have lost to straightaway games but they are

unbeaten here since October. They have not beaten Liverpool since 1994

in what was the last ever game played in front of the Kopp. Ivo

Pinto starts and Stephen Naismith from Everton. A third new face,

James Milner onside. A great recovery. If Robbie Brady was at

fault in some respects for the first goal because he played Firmino

onside, he's saved Norwich boss Matt Bacon. Milner was away and through.

That was beautifully timed by Brady. That was a poll by Bassong. A good

decision by Lee Mason. Bassong may look surprised and nonplussed but

that is all an act. Firmino could easily have stayed on his feet.

Gevero and by Moreno a yard wide. -- driven by Moreno. Something

different for a free kick, which is good to see. Was it inside the

penalty area? Very close. It took Wes Hoolahan a second to get

the ball under control. A decent ball in. Minnie lay, at the expense

of a corner. He has been their Achilles heel on many occasions.

Danger signs were flashing for Liverpool. He let it drop and

Mbokani scored with a backheel. Badly defended by Liverpool. A

decent delivery. Never really got it away, Liverpool. When it came back

in, he backpedalled away from it and Liverpool paid the penalty with a

very handy little backheel from Imber Carney. Norwich are level and

a big smile from the manager. -- Mbokani.

Back into house. The challenge by Lucas. The ball has gone behind and

Milner into the back of Stephen Naismith. A silly way to give away a

penalty. Naismith scores on his debut! And

Norwich City have turned it around. Stephen Naismith with his first ever

goal in English football for Everton and it was against Liverpool and his

first goal for Norwich City is against Liverpool. A very smart

finish. A lovely ball into him. As precise as it gets. Naismith's first

for the Canaries. A familiar story for Jurgen Klopp. Conceding from set

pieces and losing away from home. That was nicely done. Naismith

stayed on his feet and then went down again. A penalty! Moreno got

away with the first challenge and then made another. A penalty to

Norwich. A straightforward decision. He might have given one for that but

did not. Moreno into the back of Stephen Naismith. Norwich City have

their first penalty awarded this season. They have not beaten

Liverpool since 1994 but they are 3-1 up. Hoolahan converted. It was

not the greatest penalty but it was good enough, just. Liverpool have a

lot to do to get back into this game.

A Henderson chance and a goal! Liverpool straight back into it.

Liverpool, only about a minute and a half after they went 3-1 down

Liverpool made it 3-2. It felt beautifully to Henderson and he

swept it into the corner. Game on a game. On a knife edge now. -- game

on again. Firmino in the middle and 3-3. He

wants the ball and Liverpool once a winner. With 28 minutes to play,

anything can happen in this game. Firmino started it with a stab ball

round the corner. Lallana does really well. Firmino, for the second

time in the game, poke the ball beyond Declan Rudd in the net. What

a topsy-turvy game it has been for players, fans and managers Alike!

Bassong be Firmino. A backpass was cut out by James Milner. One on one

would Declan Rudd and Liverpool are in front. They were 1-0 up, 3-1 down

and now they are for-3 up. Russell Martin just did not look at all. On

a plate for James Milner. As soon as he did it he knew what he had done.

Suddenly, Norwich three, Liverpool four. With five minutes to play,

five added minutes minimum, it might be a little early in this game to

start celebrating. Jurgen Klopp is having a game with the fourth

official saying, explain to me whether five minutes have come from.

A Liverpool throw. It may be that neither side deserves to win this

game. Not a happy man. Blocked. Lallana has scored for

to say it, because this game has been so crazy, but surely that is

the winner. Adam Lallana gets a yellow card. I do not think he is

bothered. The second effort was blocked. Norwich did not clear it.

Bounces into the corner of the net and Norwich City right at the death

suck up the knockout blow. Liverpool have won an extraordinary game at

Carrow Road. You may not see a better game than this all season.

You look devastated. I am not happy. We had the game well within our

hands. 3-1, comfortable. We did not change anything. Gone about our

business and everything was looking good. At that stage, all we

transpire to do was make a really good performance into a bit of a

shambles. A draw after 92 minutes and after 95 the winner. That is not

usual. Letting in four goals in general is not good. It was the

biggest rubbish after set plays. Even when you go for-4 with two

minutes to go, you should be able to see out the game. It would have

turned into a very good point and we would have been feeling slightly

different. If we cannot defend our golf two minutes, we are going to

get punished. When it dropped in the penalty area, did you think it would

go in? As soon as it took the bounce, I knew it was going away

from the keeper. I had a knock this week and it would have been easy for

them to say, get ready for the game on Tuesday. They gave me a chance to

be involved and it paid off. In the end it is deserved because we strike

back in a really spectacular way. We played cool and the players played

football under pressure. It was a very important game for us today.

Getting five goals here was not too easy but we did good. An

extraordinary game of football. Incredible scenes at Carrow Road.

What did you make of it? The last five minutes was amazing. It was one

of those games where you felt every time there was an attack someone

would score. The finale, it was bonkers, wasn't it? You do not want

to be a manager on a day like that. They will have aged significantly.

Jurgen Klopp was having a word with the fourth official. He was arguing

the case. Christian Benteke ran offside needlessly and they stuck

the ball in the danger area. Sebastien Bassong started in an

offside position. Looking for knock-downs, anything that could

drop. He got himself around, got the second ball and was striking nothing

better than that. This was the best strike I have ever seen him hit will

stop he needs all the five minutes. The emergency striker kept the ball

alive twice. A bad header from Robbie Brady. Smashed into the

ground. The scenes after that are phenomenal.

The manager is enjoying the win with his team. He breaks his glasses,

loses them. He won't mind that, one of the Norwich officials is not too

happy with his conduct, but you can allow him that today, because it is

such an emotional game, such a wonderful end to the game. Quite

common for you, this programme itself. Looking at the positives for

Norwich, it's probably tough for them, especially given that finale,

but Naismith, new signing, did really well. Really good signing,

one of those players who gets in that nice space between defenders

and midfielders, always looking to get behind defenders. I thought it

was a very good debut for him. I thing here, this is eager to impress

on his debut. It looks like it's worse than it is but there is no

malice in that from him, just trying to go from the ball. Getting into

those nice spaces, trying to attack behind defenders. He takes Toure and

Sakho into areas in some places that they will exploit. I think that's a

penalty. Here he is now linking the play. You watch him here, Can, he

makes his move, and Can doesn't move. I think he is still standing

there now. What a finish that is. He is not getting too much on there but

he's not looking for anything else apart from the strike here, I don't

know what Moreno is doing. This is a terrible challenge. Just to compound

it, here's another terrible challenge and that's a penalty. It

was madness. Madness, a ridiculous challenge. He has challenged him

again there. It was a good debut, he will be very disappointed because he

has done very well, contributed today, but ended up on the losing

side. A good signing? A good signing, he is proven in the Premier

League and you have that with Naismith. We have plenty more good

stuff to come. After the FA Cup win over Leicester,

Tottenham continued their quest for three trophies with a trip

to Crystal Palace, who are desperate It's now three defeats in a row,

and five without scoring. Palace's goal drought continued last

weekend, Spurs are unbeaten, likely to be tested here. There was a doubt

about Delaney, the Palace captain, but he plays in an unchanged

line-up. Hennessey keeps his place in goal despite recent mistakes.

Several players rested in the FA Cup notably Harry Kane, but Alex Song is

in for Lamela. That should be clear. Still in a

dangerous area for Palace. Eriksen, took Kane. Kane again. Plays it in

low, that was well defended by Hennessey at his near post.

Tottenham threaten a breakthrough. Eriksen waits. Oh, goodness,

Alderweireld with a header, but there were defenders as well as a

goalkeeper and the header was wide. Good work by Cabaye.

Here is Puncheon. The ball would not run for Cabaye. Not the way he

wanted. It's an own goal! Vertonghen. Inadvertently,

attempting to clear, only pushed the ball, beyond his own goalkeeper and

after this long drought, Palace finally score. Tottenham certainly

should have cleared it. Saha with a little cross in, and Vertonghen

helpless. But on an initially was a little bit delicate in his first

attempt at clearance, decisive and fortunately for Tottenham in terms

of his second. Lloris had no chance. I good ball, Zaha. Great from Zaha,

shoots, rather selfishly at goal, and over. Look how he took on Danny

Rose, but there were three colleagues creeping towards the far

post, could have found them instead. Playing deep for Rose, a great save

by Hennessey. Arguably, Rose should have scored. It was a great cross by

Eriksen. Look at the run from Danny Rose, up from left-back, the shot on

target, arguably straight at the goalkeeper but he still had to hold

onto it and he did. It's a long time ago since Tottenham lost away in the

league. That was courtesy of an own goal. Oh, goodness, that was a great

effort from Eriksen. Hennessey was definitely beaten. Look at this. It

was curling inwards. He hit that really well.

Vertonghen, scorer of the only goal so far. There is Kane with a header.

The angle was accused. Hennessey was behind it. -- the angle was acute.

Kane was onside, he caught sight of the ball little late.

Hi, for Kane. Kane has equalised. Harry Kane with his 12th goal in 14

league games. His 16th of the season. He just needed one clear

chance. He had it, he took it Harry Kane.

Rose's cross wasn't great, Chadli after it, there you go, Harry, 1-1.

Puncheon again. Looking for Wickham. A chance for Zaha. Good save by

Lloris. The key for the French goalkeeper was he didn't push it

out, he pushed it away. In opportunity though for Zaha denied

by Lloris. Setting up for Souare, saved.

Brilliant block by Alderweireld. On the rebound, two chances for Palace.

This is the first, soiree, then Delaney. -- Souare. A Tottenham

player down injured, it could have been an elbow there from Connor

Wickham. Did Wickham catch Vertonghen? Oh, yes, he did.

I good ball from Cabaye. On by Wickham. Zaha bursts into the

penalty area. Cabaye is in as well. It's a free kick for Palace. In a

good position, Puncheon. Quite cynical. The signal from Puncheon.

and the right foot with the volley, past Hennessey. Burley and,

brilliant goal from the New England player.

What a volley! That's one of the goals of the season. Sensational.

Save some of that for France, Dele Alli. No wonder he is smiling, Roy

Hodgson. Zaha keeps it in play, only playing it into Tottenham's

possession. Rose takes the free kick, to Dele

Alli, Alli can finish it. Off the crossbar again. This time, at the

other end. Oh, what a goal! Chadli has finished

off Palace. It's worked beyond Hennessey into the far corner, and

Tottenham, having been a goal down at half-time, take all three points

away from Selhurst Park. A bit disappointed, but I think we have

sorted some problems and the mentality we showed, how we played,

we fully deserved, we conceded some chances, and after 90 minutes I

think the result was fair. Harry Kane with the equaliser, Dele Alli

with that goal. Luck, you know. It was a natural instinct, I took a

touch. He's a special young talent and I couldn't be happy for him. --

I couldn't be happier for him. He works hard and will carry on working

hard. We gave a good account for ourselves today, looking at their

goal, if I take him out of the equation and put an average goal in

we come out winners today. He was terrific and racial -- really

crucial times for Spurs. They had to really begin today. It was a shame

for us because on another day we could have Watt it. There is no

doubt that both sides played excellently in that game and it

could have gone either way but Spurs stuck in there. There is more

resilience about them. Healthy resilience, which I like to see from

Tottenham. They didn't get it all their own way today. Look at Danny

Rose, getting to the ball, where the danger is. Like Alan Pardew said,

he's the best in the league. They are getting there, Alderweireld puts

his body on the line, blocks things. Look at Lloris, he bounces about, he

is up, no time, bouncing around again, gets across his goal,

wonderful defending from Tottenham. It allows the players then to get

these opportunities and this is magnificent from Dele Alli. The past

from Harry Kane is fantastic, the cushion header from Eriksen, and

instinct. I have scored one of those when I was a kid against people who

couldn't play football. He's doing it in the Premier League, fantastic.

It makes your heart smile, it was a 19-year-old should be doing. The

ball is running away to quick from him so he can't get his foot away

from it did in getting, amazing. They have quality and depth, Chadli

can come off the bench and give you that. At the moment they have the

strongest squad in the Premier League, barman city. It's a healthy

blend of experience and youth -- bar Manchester City. No wonder Hodgson

is watching Tottenham playing, five internationals in the starting XI.

We have to look at that special, magical goal. It's his awareness,

doing stuff. You have to try those things, we

know what he's capable of. I remember Karl Robinson talked about

how great he was, how great he thinks he's going to be, he must

business priced about how brilliant he is doing. Has devilment about

him, and edge to his game? I think people are trying to put that tag on

him, when you look at this here with Cabaye, I think he is running past,

not really looking at anything going on, he has caught in the back but it

doesn't look like something malicious, where he has had a dig

with the knee. Do we for faults, too much? Looking for the negative, what

he has the Devil streak which will look for, there is enough players

without it, we don't need to take it out of him. One of the moment of

devilment, Connor Wickham's elbow. He might be in trouble. I think so,

unfortunately for him. He was pulled back. Old school nastiness, if you

watch it from here, he knows what is happening, he is getting pulled

back. The unfortunate thing here, if you watch Vertonghen go down it has

opened his knee up. He came off injured. If you look at his left

knee, his ligament as he goes down just here. It opens it up. Hopefully

that's not too bad because Alderweireld and the Tom Hampton

have been outstanding, -- baton and have been outstanding and it's been

a catalyst for success this season. -- Vertonghen.

The last time West Ham completed the double over Manchester City

was back in 1963, when the Hammers won both meetings 6-1.

It was only 2-1 to Slaven Bilic's side back in September,

but another win would hamper City's title ambitions.

yellow. The big decision, should this have been read? I do not think

the city defenders would have got there on time. Slaven Bilic believes

it should have been red card. That was a brilliant free kick and an

astounding save. That is why he is the England number one. Look at the

gap he had to make up! Quick feet, athleticism, and straight to the

hand. Russell Brand thought it was in and so did most of Upton Park.

He nearly lost possession, David Silva. He was a bit casual. West Ham

not pressing with the same intensity at the start of the second half. He

goes for it. Struck the post. Second time he has hit the woodwork in the

game. Fabian Delph was so unlucky. Off the foot of the post. 16 points

from a possible 21 this season against last season's top six sides

for Slaven Bilic. The throw was quickly taken. He has got the wrong

There should not have been any danger from that, from a throw, from

there. He was too powerful, too determined. He's scored in the first

minute of the game and scores 11 minutes into the second half. West

Ham can ill afford to sit deep. Manchester City will pick them off.

They looked beaten side at Vicarage Road. City will feel they deserve a

point out of this and they may well get it yet.

Sergio Aguero! 2-2. Determination got him in there. The young

substitute did so well. Bustling on. When it broke to Sergio Aguero, he

It was a wonderful game to watch for the fans. A little bit more luck and

we could have won the game. We are a little bit disappointed. I'd told

them we should not be but if you're disappointed to draw with Manchester

City, you know you have a good team. One of the first things he did was

get the ball down the wing and the crowd purred. Have you been brought

up to play that way? I always try to keep a cool head. It is easier

playing in a team like that. There are options on the ball. Players of

that quality, it really does help. Should Demicellis have seen red? You

might catch him but the goal was, it was not at the centre of the pitch.

game, in comes the free kick. It was rocking. Good drama for the TV. It

was always going over. Loads of good drama. Another really tasty game of

football. Lots of good performances. Dmitri Payet has been a tremendous

signing. Best player on the pitch. You look to other people to do stuff

that he attracts your attention. He is a very good footballer. When you

see his feet, I am thinking, summary has to get in there. He has great

feat. No one is making a move. -- someone has to get in there. This is

superb. Joe Hart was awesome. A magnificent save. Again here, he

gets out of trouble with his feet. He plays it out. He is doing this

all day. West Ham fans must be loving it. That was brilliant. A

crossfield pass to Byron. A fantastic debut himself. Fantastic

stuff. Getting back. A lovely bit of skill. Just harm. Very calm. In

control. He does it his pace when he wants to do it. He moves the quick

when he needs to. He seems to pick the right pass and the right time to

dribble all the time. When you need to run the clock down, he gets his

body across and runs the clock down. Wonderful. That is how important he

has been to them. Look at the win percentage. Eight games with him and

one without. He is massive to them. A real talent. Talking about

talented players, Sergio Aguero, he got Manchester City out of a bit of

a hole. I think the defending has been poor. We keep talking about

Vincent Kompany being missing. This is a chance. Antonia goes past. It

is a red card. He identifies it. He knocks it passed. Is it a

goal-scoring opportunity? It should be a red card. He is doing his hair.

At this level you get punished. He certainly did. I feel for Joe Hart.

Look at the says he is pulling out! With that haircut, I would not

bother. With defenders in front of you, you are making mistakes like

that. It could possibly cost them the title chances.

Leicester City's title challenge is refusing to go away -

they started the second on goal difference to Arsenal.

Today, they welcomed Stoke to the King Power,

They had accumulated 28 goals between them so far. Borrowers has

gone five games without a goal. They both start in the same Leicester

team that drew against Aston Villa. Stoke kept nine clean sheets in

their last 16 matches. They welcome back Shaqiri.

Only Arsenal have managed to win here in the Premier League so far

this season. That is a terrific ball into waters. Can he take it with

him? Good save. He is frustrated, Jonathan Walters, understandably so.

Look at this pass from Erik Pieters. A well timed run. He could not get

it under control and he went to shoot. Schmeichel was out quickly.

That was a good effort! Put behind by Erik Pieters. An opportunity at

each end inside 60 seconds. This is the first quality delivery we have

seen so far from Leicester. Jamie Vardy pulled away. Too hot to

terrific effort. Claudio Ranieir's team have been involved in matches

scoring 65 Premier League goals. He had the shot in the end. It was

that contact. We learn on the stretch conceived

the way. Danny Drinkwater with his first ever Premier League goal,

breaks the deadlock. The goalkeeper was beaten. Stoke dealt with the

first ball and then the touch just took it away from Jack Butland. Of

do about it. He is delighted about it. The king power Stadium is

bouncing. Stoke the fifth lowest goal-scorers

in the Premier League. As they try to find a way through, they have to

score in this one. Here is Johnson, can he deliver an inviting delivery?

It's the first time they've given any of their strikers and inviting

delivery all day. A routine save in the end forced Schmeichel. Vardy is

A lovely touch away from Wilson, didn't have too much to a map but

kept his cool. It will be a relief to him and his manager as well. --

he didn't have too much to aim at. Midway through the second half,

Leicester two, Stoke nil. Once a bit more from his team. -- he wants a

bit more from his team. Kante, brilliant balance and pace. He is

trying to set Vardy, and it needed Wollscheid to block. No wonder Vardy

is applauding Kante. What a find this fellow has been, a good

challenge from Wollscheid. Schmeichel's clearance, Leonardo

Ulloa's touch, Vardy is onto it. It will wriggle away from Wilson, he

has more resins aboard. Here is Mahrez, brilliantly done, Leonardo

Ulloa. Three goals. Three points for Leicester. Just a second Premier

League goal of the season for Leonardo Ulloa. Leicester City, back

to winning ways and back on top of the Premier League.

Mahrez did brilliantly here. Leonardo Ulloa was alive to the

situation to poke it home. Lovely skill from Mahrez and Leonardo Ulloa

from six yards out accepted that, gleefully. Leicester City three,

Stoke City nil. Done and dusted for Leicester.

Claudio Ranieri's team back on top of the league. They have now won 20

of their last 32 Premier League matches. They have Vardy back

amongst the goals as well, and they have beaten Stoke by 3-0. Very

pleased, because Stoke City is very strong and tough team, very tall,

and was very difficult to fight against them. But we scored at the

right moment, the first half. We played poorly today and didn't

really get our game going at any point of the proceedings. Credit to

Leicester, when they got opportunities they are good

finishers and took the game away from us, but unfortunately for us

today, we went behind in the game and at no point really we looks as

though we would get back. 15 games to go, top of the league, you have

to say you are a contender? I don't know if we are a contender at this

moment. We want to fight now. There is a big month, a difficult month,

and after this month I can say something more realistic. Why do you

think it could end? We have to concentrate on the next game first,

don't we? If we are up there by the end of the season then it's been an

unbelievable achievement end of the season then it's been an

unbelievable achievement for this club. Well, on it goes, on it goes,

and Leicester's striking triumvirate were back, rested in midweek for the

FA Cup and they looked sharp, full of beans? They did, they had a

problem midweek getting behind Spurs and credit to Spurs, but in Mahrez,

Vardy and Okazaki today, they were trying to get every opportunity. You

will look at Okazaki, looking to get forward, Jamie Vardy is looking to

get forward and what you are getting in Marc Albrighton, as soon as he

gets half a chance he will get the ball in the box. You have good

reason to get up there. Okazaki has gone, Vardy has gone, the ball goes

out. -- out to Albrighton, not waiting to get the ball in the box,

not faffing about, getting it in there. The same here, gets down,

cuts back in. You want to see Mahrez getting in here, like he was doing

earlier in the season. He didn't do it and misses out on a tap in for

himself there may be but he had a fantastic game but what about that

for a pass from Drinkwater? That is as good a pass as you will ever see,

a great touch from Vardy. That wasn't an easy touch, coming over

your shoulder. He flicks it, fantastic finish from him. The same

again, Drinkwater, good run, he got a bit overexcited to try to get it

in, he put too much on it. But then this was amazing. With Mahrez,

Wollscheid is probably at home now saying, what happened to me today?

I'm going to give Bart -- Mahrez the benefit of the doubt and say he hit

that, passed it with the outside of his foot to Leonardo Ulloa because

you can't do skill that I mis-kick it. Fantastic today, fantastic. They

certainly were. We talked about Payet is a brilliant signing but a

contender of signing for the season has to be Kante, he has been a

marvellous player. A huge find, they are playing 4-4- two, him and

Drinkwater covering a lot of distance. I would hate to have

played against him, all of you like a bad rash. You can't shake him off.

He opens up passes off his left side, his right side, outstanding,

when there is space to drive, he drives. He drives the team forward.

They are very good counterattacking team because of this fellow. He

finds the pass. Look at that, the weight of the passes outstanding.

This is even better, off his left side. Wriggles, find himself space

and the weight of pass off his left foot is outstanding. If you must add

goals, know primarily it's not as position to score goals, if he added

them he would be at Real Madrid! He's going nowhere! Hopefully, leave

him alone. We did see possibly, quite probably, the worst free kick

of the season, I think, Robert Huth, just for entertainment value, this

one. He knew what he was doing, late in the game. Drinkwater got on his

way. He saw the funny side, subsequently turned to Twitter, nine

times out of ten they creep inside the top corner, a good sense of

humour. Stoke were missing players today? There were a few on the edge

of being injured today, Mark asked rested them and quite rightly so.

They have a massive game at the Carling Cup, it's a big opportunity

Manchester United's win over Liverpool last weekend prompted

18-year-old Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has looked quite

at home in this Manchester United games to date, now he comes in for

Ashley Young, in the only change to the side from last Sunday.

Southampton bring back Tadic into their starting line-up, a scorer and

substituted both the last two games, and he got the only goal here last

season, Saints' first win at Old Trafford since 1988. New signing

Charlie Austin is amongst the substitutes. The euphoria of last

week's win at Liverpool will probably be forgotten, if it's

sideways passing again. Blind thought about it long and hard

and there was a bit of swerve away from Fraser Forster. Well held by

the Southampton keeper. It was a bit of early away swing in that. Not

enough to lift you to the edge of your seat and beyond yet. Wanyama,

court inadvertently I think by Marouane Fellaini. Keeps it away

from Rooney, Mike Jones will tend to the stricken Southampton player.

Fellaini is all arms when he jobs. That is not an arm, well, it is, but

it is the point of the elbow on it. The same old same old so far, and

log -- not a lot of pace in the game and not a lot of excitement in

either penalty area. Blind not helped by a couple of passes but he

has been caught seemingly struggling on a couple of occasions now.

Clasie, a good ball as well. Tadic through towards Mane, he collected

it nicely but swung and missed with the attempted finish. The first

chance of the need sort of note for either team. Very nicely worked,

that's a good touch to bring it down. He couldn't quite get the legs

and feet sorted out. It actually bounces just off top of the left

knee and away from the swinging foot.

got two in that game. Adnan Januzaj, now United need him to make the sort

of impact he had when he first burst onto the first-team scene. Austin,

Januzaj charging in, there is impact, the wrong kind. Free kick,

Southampton. He withstood the Blind barge, only too happy to accept the

of the recent Manchester United substitute. Tried to force away

to be doing that. If you are not going to create many chances you

have to be very strong defensively. Before you see the goal, they look

like they are on post duty. They get their job and do it pretty well.

Charlie Austin comes on. Cannot understand why that fella is

standing. It looks like Charlie Austin has a free header. When you

look at it closely, you see no one at the post. Anthony Martial does

not know what he should be doing. Charlie Austin loses Paddy McNair.

He has got on the wrong side of him. He is looking for him. He checks him

out. Still watching the ball and he has a free header. That, for me, is

all about the marking and being resolute. You can see it again. He

just keeps going. Totally lost him. Charlie does well. He ducks in

behind Foster if you need the ball to fall to anyone, it is Charlie. --

he ducks in behind. I have never heard anyone in an interview say I

am delighted for me. Going back to Louis van Gaal, there will obviously

be speculation again as to whether he will stay in his job. He is

having a tough time, no question. He realises that. He has been in the

game a long time and has been successful revving he has been. He

is finding it tough at Manchester United. -- wherever he has been.

Given time, he will turn it around, I am sure he will. You can see the

statistics. There is also a story in the Independent tomorrow morning,

Sunday morning, basically saying that Jose Mourinho has written a six

page love to United saying, I can change my style of play. He clearly

wants the job. I do not like it. I do not like to see him writing a

letter like that. He is Jose Mourinho. I cannot understand why he

is doing now. That makes me feel weird because I love him.

Watford welcomed Newcastle to Vicarage Road, with the home side

looking for a return to form after defeat to Swansea

Watford have only had six different Premier League scorers. The cross is

high. Into the penalty area. Swansea City take the lead. Watson with a

free kick. It is curling in, over the top. Still going. He hits the

14th goal of the season. No surprise that it was made by his partner,

Troy Deeney. Vicarage Road is suddenly full of noise. That is the

again. Newcastle have their arms up. Ighalo is only concentrating on one

thing. If ever there was a typical example of strikers combining, it

was that. It handed Steve McClaren's team. He had only just come out. I'm

Cathcart for Watford. 2-0. Suddenly this game has gone right away from

Newcastle United and it has come all the way in towards Watford. It is

really Deeney getting up there again. It comes off Ighalo and

Cathcart buries that from eight yards out. What is getting a lot of

players forward. They take their lead to 2-0, just as Newcastle were

about to bring on two substitutions, which they will now do. A long old

season for him and his pals. Forcing a corner for Newcastle. They

need something to happen now. The supporters in the far corner of the

ground. Did that creep in? Yes it did. On

his first Premier League start, Jamaal Lascelles has got Newcastle

back in the game following the corner forced by Sesotho. If you

look at the number of yellow shirts, nobody gets near him. He guides the

header past Heurelho Gomes and opens his Newcastle account. We are of

course ten days away, or nearly, from the closing of the transfer

window. Still Ighalo and still. He brings a

save out of Rob Elliott at the near post. He did not have much to aim at

in all honesty. Elliott had the near post covered. Time running out for

Steve McClaren. Watford get a break. He had three to aim at in the

centre. Why did he go on by himself? He knows he should have service one

of three men in the middle. Could it be costly? The fourth official has

come out with the board and signalled for minutes to be added at

Vicarage Road. Will the ball run? It does. A corner. They are throwing

everybody forward now in stoppage time. Jamaal Lascelles made a curved

run. That was not just wide of the post of Heurelho Gomes. It has been

necessary for the players. I believe a lot. I am comfortable with the

formation but today it was important to do something different. With this

system, the central midfielders, we played really well in the first

half. I think it was good. I thought the lads played with confidence and

fluency. The system worked. We created opportunities and chances.

It is about both boxes. We need to get it right at both ends. If you do

not, you lose. My eyes lit up. I managed to get good contact on it.

It was a big relief. A bit disappointed. I lost a man for the

corner to make it edgy for the last 20 minutes. They have struggled over

recent weeks, Watford. An important victory for them. They keep the ball

alive really well. Good stuff to keep the ball alive. Is he offside

but it has not been given. After that, it is all brilliant stuff. A

super touch, similar to Jamie Vardy. People underestimate that kind of

touch. A good goal. They keep it alive again and Troy Deeney battling

again for his mate. He does brilliantly the Cathcart. They are

all turning their backs. Watford take a quick one. This is where it

comes in the box. The goalkeeper does well to punch it away. They

need to be more alive. When you look at the Brit cheer Coloccini, -- look

at Coloccini, Cathcart just get something on it. An outstanding

finish from a centre-back. Steve McClaren talking about another good

performance but they are remaining in the bottom three. Are they

underperforming? I do not know if they should be better. I have not

taken too much notice of Newcastle. They will have funds to spend. Jonjo

Shelvey was a good signing. Andros Townsend would be an outstanding

signing. He could possibly help them win enough games to stay in the

league. I think Mike Ashley will give them money.

In a moment we'll see Aston Villa take the short trip to West Brom,

but first, Sunderland welcomed Bournemouth.

He first announced his burgeoning potential by scoring goals at

Bournemouth aged 18, now Jermain Defoe offers the greatest threat to

the visitors, who is manager Eddie Howe played alongside the youthful

Defoe at Dean Court. Two changes for the hosts as Borini is recalled,

Bournemouth are unchanged after Afobe came through his fitness

checks to start the week after recording his first goal for his new

club. He was already in double figures for the season, having

netted ten times for Wolves before leaving Molineux. Manchester City,

Liverpool, Manchester United and West Ham are Sunderland's next four

opponents. It certainly accentuates the significance of a positive

result for them today. Francis, was allowed to advance a little more

comfortably than the Sunderland support is where hoping. That's a

lovely ball towards Afobe. Great cross from you. Just enough

uncertainty within the Sunderland ranks to cause a huge intake of

breath around the Stadium Of Light. Caesar Stanislas in space am a --

PCs Stanislas in space. The cross towards Afobe, it's gone in. It's a

really brave header and to have generated the power took some doing

as well. Mannone got a big hand on it but could not keep it out.

It was super from Afobe, but the goalkeeper will feel he ought to

have saved it. None of that is of any concern to the visitors, who are

in front. Won back again by Bournemouth.

Stanislas, on target, beaten away by Mannone. Stanislas had his mind made

up for him, but he had to go for goal. It was on target.

A good effort, beaten away by Mannone, with Stanislas calling for

the reverse pass to him. Mannone managed to prevent Afobe from

grabbing his second, and at the moment Bournemouth are finding life

very, very comfortable here in the north-east. A real concern for Sam

Allardyce, he knew the size of the task he was inheriting when he took

over in October. Here is Lens, now Borini. And Van Aanholt, scores

again. Well, Bournemouth made to pay for not putting Sunderland out of

their misery, really. Completely outclassed in this first half. What

a bonus that is in added time. And Van Aanholt, who scores in his

fourth macro successive game, albeit two have been taken off him by the

dubious goals panel, there will be no doubt about who has got this and

most significantly of all it is an equaliser that Sunderland may not

have merited but will be thrilled to have got. 1-1. He tries to win it

back, he almost did, but his efforts have helped his side out. It's a

corner. Cook conceding it. Easily dealt with by Surman and

Cattermole. Johnson stays onside. Whips it in, it's a terrific save.

Jones' header, good second ball in from Johnson. Good header from

Jones. A decent stop from Boruc. Sunderland supporters just sensing

that they can play their part in this game. Here is Johnson, another

crowd in excess of 40000 and they are starting to roar their team.

They have won a free kick in a dangerous area. Lens fouled by

Smith. Lens goes towards M'Vila, a really

good start by Boruc. Watmore tries to hit it and there were enough

Bournemouth bodies to stop it going into the goal, but it was a good

stop by Boruc and Sunderland are rapping on the door again.

It's a good ball, Grabban, Mrs. Shouldn't have done. He knows it.

What a let off for Sunderland, a game that Sunderland could not lose.

That was the phrase used by Sam Allardyce. But maybe, they ought to

have done. Grabban, a golden opportunity, took his time, put it

beyond the post. It's an escape. It's the first point we have gained

coming from behind and we have to respect that point and move on. We

have won two, drawn one in the last four, so it shows a bit of recovery,

but the table still says we have a long way to go, with 19 points after

23 games. We have to pick more and more points up as quickly as we can.

We dominated the early stages of the game, we were in total control. We

lost our grip on it on the total dominance we had, we were still the

dominant team throughout, we are disappointed we haven't won. Have

you been in better form in your career, going forward? I don't think

so, I'm glad I can help the team out with my goals. A goal as a goal, I

don't care if I score or don't score but we got a point today and I'm

happy with that. An amazing run he's on, he had two goals taken off, but

why is he getting into this position so often? Great coaching from the

manager! Ben Foster makes his first appearance in the Premier League

since suffering a cruciate injury ten months ago. Rondon, who scored

the winner at Bristol City in the FA Cup, starts instead of Anichebe

upfront. Villa's line-up includes only four crew started when the

teams met earlier this season. Richards returns to the side and

will play at right back, while Kozak is preferred to Gestede upfront.

We have not won but we haven't lost the game. In the different situation

it would have been a very good point away, winning, but then in our

situation, in our current situation, we needed more points than that. We

tried. We did our best. Especially on the second half. But they

defended well as well. If they on the second half. But they

games. Villa seemed to edge it and probably should have had a penalty?
