In terms of handling, you can have a good drive or a high speed but

you can't have both. They have a good team working with them. It

does not seem to matter what they try to do. I wonder what Dovizioso

is thinking about? Is watching this from a distance. He knows that's

where he's made his bed and he will lie in it next year.

This circuit, it has to be said, they need to resurface it. There's

a very long time. 1950 I think. it's even before I was racing.

have more grip. Let's watch him down the straight. He gets a good

toe down the straight. He has to be very brave there. It's a bit blind

at the end. And also very bumpy. It's a very tricky section they

tell me. You can't get very good corner speed there. You usually go

a little bit wider there. They powered down out of that corner.

Dropping back down the hill. Carl Fogarty ended his career down there

on that corner. Bautista and having a bit of a look there. That's very

tight. Down into Siberia. It clicks around to the left. With the harder

tyre, it tyres itself to shreds. You're right. Nobody has done many

laps on them. It's been too cold or too rainy to test them.

Realistically, this comes down to the Bridgestone engineers. However

they feel from their experience. They have done some testing here at

other higher temperatures. We have 1000 cc this year. The tyres are

stiffer and harder but the bikes have more horsepower. Stone are

still ahead of Jorge Lorenzo going weekend under 29. Stone is getting

his head down with three laps to go. Casey Stoner showing us what he's

different bikes. It's very interesting. Another year until the

transition takes place. But listen about his injured ankle now. He can

hardly walk. But the adrenalin is rushing and he clings on with two

laps remaining. What are fitting end! He does not want to take over

is doing everything he can just to get around. I think Casey Stoner

would have a bit of a lump in his time at the moment and everybody

up for the Spanish people, the world champion, the second time, a

worthy winner and Cal Crutchlow takes the podium with third place.

He's been very strong all weekend. It goes right down to the wire and

Dovizioso just takes off position. Maybe Stefan Bradl gets the 6th

champion! No. 1 again. It's been a tough year for him really. He's had

good for him with one round that island. I think he will come

back here but not racing. He wants a new motorbike from Honda. It's a

sad day for everybody. But I think he is beside himself, it was a

masterclass from Casey Stoner. They also see the World Championship

months ago, Jorge Lorenzo, he lost the end of his finger right on that

corner and the Championship disappear. Peaks and troughs in

this sport. Australia is a melting pot. Greeks, Italians, and we can

do it here on Phillip Island, it's fantastic. Everybody heading down

to pit lane. But be, in front of all those the rajas,

congratulations Jorge Lorenzo. He did a great job. Cal Crutchlow has

closed down on Valentino Rossi in the points. He may get 5th place in

the Championship. Casey Stoner the keen. He wins his last race. He

had his ankle injury? I thought he would win the Championship. He did

have the speed and determination. Things went against him. One tumble

damaged him. He will spend some happy. At the beginning of the year,

they are not allowed to do the burn-out but now, it does not

matter. I don't think the Bridgestone technicians will learn

much from that. As he said, many Australians are wondering what's

going on. Casey Stoner is the winner. They would be wondering

about that. But it's a missed the moment for Casey Stoner. We will

miss him. There's no doubt about that. It's quite a shame. It's been

a very long season. I thought it would go down to Valencia but it's

been sorted out here one round here in Australia. Valencia will

still be interesting in its own right. This bloke would have

anything to worry about. He will race the wheels of it as will Dani

Pedrosa. The gloves will be off. It will be a big shoot-out. It should

be a very good race in Valencia. It will be a cracker. Casey Stoner

wants to win his final race, I'm he realised that Dani Pedrosa

disappeared. On sure he rode past Just in front of his team-mate

Randy De Puniet. Cal Crutchlow, very exciting stuff for him and on

pleased to see he demonstrated he can do it. He's had a few tumbles

recently but is determined to finish he had a bit of illness here

today. But he is smiling today. Congratulations, second podium this

year with a comfortable ride. No signs of your fever? I felt really

good during the race. I controlled it will not go into heart. Maybe I

could have kept up with Jorge Lorenzo. But it was very brisk. I

think a great job all-round. We worked hard for this. We deserve

this. After three weeks very tough and to to come away from this with

the podium is exciting going into the last race. The Championship is

over so if we will go for it in the last race. Nice work from Cal

Crutchlow. If you have bronchitis, jump on to a motorbike. Do 27 laps

around here and you will feel fine. What an ad for Australian Tourism!

I will stay here. Casey Stoner will miss this view. Another masterclass.

We did not doubt it. It what's going on Monday or Helmut? Your

last race winning in style? To be honest, I was focusing and not

counting down laps but just thinking about Jorge Lorenzo and

the gap between me and him and I realised it was three laps to go

when I looked at the board and I saw it and enjoyed the last look

few laps and not worried about my tyres. I knew I had enough and it

was fantastic and I saw the crowd basically all cheering for me

through the last few laps. It was a fantastic feeling to have that

support. Desert track invasion. There is always a track invasion

here. It's very big this year. A huge weekend for me the very busy.

I was nervous before the race. Everything went right for me

perfectly. Thank you everybody for coming out. On behalf of all those

people down there on the track, thank you for the entertainment. I

wish it was a few more years. But it was fantastic. Love him or hate

him, fantastic to watch. He's a Honda. Jorge Lorenzo, he is a very

chance. And the way Valentina Rossi is going, Cal Crutchlow may claw

fans here. What a track invasion! Congratulations to Jorge Lorenzo,

we can't say enough about him. For the second time, MotoGP world

champion. Congratulations! This is a sweet moment for me and for the

team. Thank you all the team, my mother my family, my friends my

supporters, my sponsors, today is a significant moment. It's my second

time. I concentrated hard and finely a good ride. You're

comfortable in the end but you were nervous in the last few laps?

nervous. The second term, I tried to keep the wheel away from Casey

Stoner that finally, I wanted to say I needed to finish second. That

was it. Good strategy. He will have to Porsche to try to win in

Valencia because it's in the back of his mind next year, finishing

second in too many races. Six races he is the winner. But maybe second

place, after Casey Stoner moving up to five and winning races for the

season. Jorge Lorenzo was a little bit faster because he left part of

his finger on this track last year and he will be slightly lighter.

It's always more difficult with his second Championship. I remember him

crawling around trying to find it but I think it was still in his

glove. But a big day here. He was very consistent. I guess, Casey

Stoner is like Elaine Prost. He is a very smart strategist. Jorge

Lorenzo, thinking about it very consistent. That's his worst result

of the season, second place, and that's not too bad but remember

last year, he was 10 winning races the Casey Stoner. He injured his

ankle. Then he lost three races to his home country. Probably in a

private jet. It's a long way NSS there. I think I need an aircraft

carrier. It's a big afternoon here and I don't think they'll be

leaving in a hurry. There was a 25 mile queue to get in it and it will

take a long time to get out. There's plenty penguins here.
