restarted, another overtake of the pace bike and they restarted again

and finally with about a 45 minute delay, it went underway and Jason

dealt with it, nothing bothers him, six gold medals, incredible. On the

historical point. As you sat down, you said the consistency of Beijing,

to London, to hear, you cannot think of another sport that delivered like

that. To think about the dominance in terms of percentage of gold

medals, 70% in London, 60% here, utter dominance, 11 medals in total

here versus two was the next best nation, it is not all about money

but money is important to get the process up and running, to get the

facilities and infrastructure and finding the right people and we

clearly have a system that allows the athletes to get the best chance

to compete against anyone out there anywhere in the world. Even though

smashed the world record, Jason Kenny wins the gold medal for the

second time in his career and a spectacular show from Callum

Skinner. Mark Cavendish has an Olympic medal, a silver one and it

is a richly deserved one. Laura Trott is Britain's most successful

female Olympian of all time, can Katie Marchand get it on the line? I

think she can. It is a golden hat-trick in Rio, sensational

cycling, brilliant stuff. It genuinely
