The 34th birthday tomorrow under 100 cap today for Gethin Jenkins. Quite | :01:02. | :01:07.
a weekend for me the fourth Welshman to reach a century of appearances | :01:08. | :01:12.
for his country. A lot at stake for Wales as they seek a first at | :01:13. | :01:16.
international win against anybody for four years. For Warren Gatland, | :01:17. | :01:24.
a day for ringing the changes after a brutal defeat against South Africa | :01:25. | :01:25.
last weekend. The power of the South African | :01:26. | :01:56.
pack. They are an immense force. George North is beaten. The referee | :01:57. | :02:07.
awards the try. Jonathan Davies is coming off. Concede the try, lose | :02:08. | :02:15.
two players. It is a double blow for Wales. Wales have lost three players | :02:16. | :02:39.
in the first half hour. That is a try from a master strategist. It is | :02:40. | :02:46.
the same old story, Wales have only beaten South Africa once in 107 | :02:47. | :02:48.
years. After the Springboks, the Pumas. | :02:49. | :03:01.
Argentina won on your last visit to Cardiff 12 months ago but 2013 has | :03:02. | :03:06.
been a tough year for them on and off the field. Nine defeats out of | :03:07. | :03:11.
ten, losing a coach and a number of star players. Just six players | :03:12. | :03:16.
survive from that triumph here one year ago. The roof is closed and it | :03:17. | :03:25.
is one of those outside nondescript Saturdays in November. There are | :03:26. | :03:36.
lots of football fans here from Finland to see Gareth Bale in the | :03:37. | :03:42.
international friendly in football tonight. We have witnessed today a | :03:43. | :03:57.
very distinguished trio of guests. They are arranged in height order, | :03:58. | :04:02.
starting with the Argentine captain when they got to the World Cup | :04:03. | :04:11.
semifinals in 2007. Very few people could carry off pink trainers on | :04:12. | :04:14.
television and you are one of those people. The man in the medal is one | :04:15. | :04:24.
of the four to 100 caps for Wales. And we have a British Lions centre. | :04:25. | :04:29.
You are injured currently. There are lots of games taking place across | :04:30. | :04:33.
the northern hemisphere, and you can see lots of them on BBC television. | :04:34. | :04:40.
Here are the details. Martyn Williams, let's start with | :04:41. | :05:05.
you. Why have Wales not been able to win in November for four years. It | :05:06. | :05:12.
is the million-dollar question. We have had so much success, grand | :05:13. | :05:17.
slams, championship wins. The only thing I can put it down to is | :05:18. | :05:22.
intensity. It is the step up from club level to international level. | :05:23. | :05:27.
We have struggled over the last few years and we have lost key players | :05:28. | :05:31.
to injury. We know we have the quality within the squad and the | :05:32. | :05:37.
team. The carrot has been dangled and so many occasions and wheels | :05:38. | :05:40.
have come within touching distance and have not managed to do it. -- | :05:41. | :05:52.
and Wales. Why is that? I just think we have not been good enough. You | :05:53. | :05:57.
need to score tries. We have not been able to do that in the last few | :05:58. | :06:02.
games. I noticed in your newspaper column this morning you said that | :06:03. | :06:06.
you were looking forward to working for the BBC. You said it was great | :06:07. | :06:12.
but it would also be horrific. At the bottom of that list is the match | :06:13. | :06:16.
last weekend. What was your take on how the boys played last week? I | :06:17. | :06:21.
thought their passion and commitment was second to none. They gave | :06:22. | :06:25.
everything, but they came short on the scoreline. We did not score | :06:26. | :06:31.
tries. If you're playing against the sides you need to score. Hopefully | :06:32. | :06:35.
we can do that today against Argentina. We have got the quality. | :06:36. | :06:45.
Unfortunately, we have had injuries. It is great to see Cory Allen making | :06:46. | :06:51.
his first art. You were one of the people who fought hard to get | :06:52. | :06:54.
Argentina into the Premier League of rugby nations. I do disappointed | :06:55. | :06:58.
with the way that this year has gone? I am not disappointed. We did | :06:59. | :07:06.
not expect the game that we had against South Africa, seven points, | :07:07. | :07:09.
but we have played against the best teams in the world. It is tough. | :07:10. | :07:18.
Once in Argentina, we had to beat them, and we could not beat them in | :07:19. | :07:22.
the last ten minutes. It is a learning process. Last year, the | :07:23. | :07:31.
rugby championship, it was good. We are adapting. The players go from | :07:32. | :07:35.
Europe to the site. We still have to work it out. That is a key part | :07:36. | :07:41.
debate today. But let's focus for the moment on the man of the moment, | :07:42. | :07:45.
because he joins a very distinguished trio, which now | :07:46. | :07:49.
becomes a quartet. Gethin Jenkins, 100 not out. I do not really | :07:50. | :07:57.
remember my first cap, if I am honest. It is a bit of a blur. | :07:58. | :08:01.
Hopefully Saturday will be different. You never think that far | :08:02. | :08:07.
ahead in your career. My dream was to play for Wales. He's probably one | :08:08. | :08:14.
of the grumpiest rugby players that I have ever met, but I mean that in | :08:15. | :08:22.
a positive way. Sometimes he is grumpy because of his expectations. | :08:23. | :08:26.
He wants to win. Definitely the high point for me was scoring a try and | :08:27. | :08:39.
winning the grand slam in 2005. To be involved in such a big occasion, | :08:40. | :08:43.
and to score a try, that was my high for Wales. It is great when you | :08:44. | :08:51.
score, especially when you do not score very often. Adam James, Gethin | :08:52. | :09:06.
Jenkins, and Mike Phillips are key to us. I have had some injuries. | :09:07. | :09:15.
That is when I get frustrated, when I cannot be at full fitness. | :09:16. | :09:18.
Hopefully I have a few more years in me. My family have supported me | :09:19. | :09:24.
throughout. They have been there for most of the games. My mum would have | :09:25. | :09:31.
been there cheering me on. You think about how one occasion. But after | :09:32. | :09:35.
the national anthem is over, I concentrate on my job. It feels like | :09:36. | :09:45.
it turns, the six Nations, and we go from a winning side to a losing | :09:46. | :09:56.
side. We were winning side. We won two championships in a row. We need | :09:57. | :10:03.
to pick up on that this weekend. With the best will in the world, he | :10:04. | :10:09.
does not seem monumentally infused about winning 100 caps. He is so | :10:10. | :10:15.
excited, you can tell from that interview! He keeps his emotions | :10:16. | :10:21.
well hidden. But he is a world-class player and he has been for the last | :10:22. | :10:26.
seven or eight years. He will be out there today, telling everyone how to | :10:27. | :10:29.
pass, telling the hookers how to throw the ball in. He is phenomenal, | :10:30. | :10:37.
truly world-class. When I first came into the setup, at Cardiff, you look | :10:38. | :10:45.
to the senior players. He was always one of those players. The younger | :10:46. | :10:51.
guys look up to him. The effect on any team he is playing in is | :10:52. | :10:57.
massive. Justin Tipuric will have a major impact on the game, you would | :10:58. | :11:04.
think. He is one of the players that traumatised England in the spring. | :11:05. | :11:09.
Yes. Losing Dan Lydiate would normally be a big blow, but these | :11:10. | :11:12.
three players and the screen have laid so well against England. They | :11:13. | :11:23.
will provide a platform for the front five. They will cause havoc. | :11:24. | :11:29.
Talk us through the Welsh line-up. There are few changes. | :11:30. | :11:47.
Luke Charteris is waiting to come on, but the front five is where you | :11:48. | :12:09.
win or lose the game. Dan Biggar is the big story, coming in for Rhys | :12:10. | :12:13.
Priestland. It is a great day for Cory Allen, his first cap. His | :12:14. | :12:16.
family have come from Norway. This is the man who has made those | :12:17. | :12:39.
changes, Warren Gatland. A pretty brutal physical contest one | :12:40. | :12:45.
week ago, and now, Argentina. These games are never easy. I sense from | :12:46. | :12:49.
your reaction last week that he felt there were positives to take from | :12:50. | :12:53.
the match with South Africa, giving the disruption with injuries? Yes, | :12:54. | :12:58.
it was a brittle game, it was really physical. The way that we coped with | :12:59. | :13:07.
major injuries, we got back into the game. It was 17-15. I am really | :13:08. | :13:16.
proud of that. We need to work on defence and dominate in the air. We | :13:17. | :13:20.
need to finish off the opportunities. We created more line | :13:21. | :13:25.
breaks than the South Africans did last week. It is just about us being | :13:26. | :13:32.
clinical. I cannot question the effort and the attitude of the | :13:33. | :13:38.
players. These games in November are never easy. You have had a pretty | :13:39. | :13:42.
poor record in recent times during the autumn internationals. Why is | :13:43. | :13:48.
that? We realise it has not been great. Would I have great autumn | :13:49. | :13:56.
internationals and a terrible six Nations, no, I would not. When we | :13:57. | :14:05.
are at full strength, we have a very good team that can compete against | :14:06. | :14:10.
anyone. Five of our British Lions players are out injured at the | :14:11. | :14:15.
moment. It is about developing some depth within the squad. We have not | :14:16. | :14:20.
had very great international matches recently. We have played the best | :14:21. | :14:28.
teams in the world. We are well aware of that. It is important we | :14:29. | :14:33.
get a result today. Hopefully we will get a result next weekend | :14:34. | :14:38.
against Tonga. A mention of Cory Allen. He plays in the centre, as | :14:39. | :14:45.
you do. I am sure that he will want to get the ball early. Yes. I am | :14:46. | :14:53.
sure that the coaches have spoken to Dan Biggar, and told him to get the | :14:54. | :14:57.
ball into this guy's hands. He is talented. He has shown what he can | :14:58. | :15:07.
do in rugby sevens. How big a blow is the injury to Jonathan Davies? | :15:08. | :15:13.
Very big. Especially with the man stood alongside me out as well. They | :15:14. | :15:19.
work so well together. I think that the defence will be key today. | :15:20. | :15:32.
Joining off -- going off to France, but fundamentally, a lot of Welsh | :15:33. | :15:37.
fans will see one after another, that drip of good players. They say | :15:38. | :15:43.
it is just money. It is professional sport. John Davies has want to | :15:44. | :15:49.
improve himself and to get experience with one of the top | :15:50. | :15:55.
teams. And they compete at the highest level every season. It is a | :15:56. | :15:59.
fantastic way for him as a player and a person and we will see more | :16:00. | :16:05.
awards players heading abroad. Is there no loyalty with the Welsh | :16:06. | :16:11.
Rugby family? The fans are here watching every week and they deserve | :16:12. | :16:15.
to see the best players? That is eight good question and you have to | :16:16. | :16:21.
do what is best for your career, individually. This is an | :16:22. | :16:38.
opportunity... They want to play in a winning side and the Welsh regions | :16:39. | :16:42.
are not winning and are not successful. Go to Clermont and you | :16:43. | :16:50.
will do that. This is the issue with Argentina? This is a professional | :16:51. | :16:57.
sport and as long as it does not jeopardise the national team, the | :16:58. | :17:02.
men are here to play. And they can get better here or there but at the | :17:03. | :17:08.
end of the day, they must do what is best for their careers. Wales has | :17:09. | :17:14.
got very talented players and they can play for the international team | :17:15. | :17:18.
here and that is urgent but then if they go somewhere abroad, it is good | :17:19. | :17:27.
they have that in the last 15 years. The Welsh team will be wearing a | :17:28. | :17:33.
special symbol on their shirt and Jill Douglas can tell us about that. | :17:34. | :17:38.
The team will put on their jerseys and you will be able to see this | :17:39. | :17:45.
purple emblem on the sleeve. This smiling face and support of the | :17:46. | :17:51.
former captain, Matthew Rees, who was undergoing treatment for | :17:52. | :17:58.
testicular cancer. They decided they wanted to show support for their | :17:59. | :18:01.
team-mate and former captain and for this emblem, purple shows support | :18:02. | :18:06.
for the cancer charities and the smiling face because those that know | :18:07. | :18:16.
that the rice -- Matthew Rees will know that he is very smiley. And we | :18:17. | :18:18.
sent our best wishes. The atmosphere is building. A quick | :18:19. | :18:28.
word about Argentina this year. Just one solitary victory against Georgia | :18:29. | :18:33.
and some very heavy defeats in the Championship. And losing their | :18:34. | :18:40.
coach. Where are you at the moment? This is professional rugby and the | :18:41. | :18:44.
pressure comes in. They are under great pressure. We had a very tough | :18:45. | :18:51.
Championship and a lot of teams were not performing very well. In other | :18:52. | :18:57.
games we did not play so well. The first game against South Africa was | :18:58. | :19:01.
not great but we were coming out of pre-season because lots of players | :19:02. | :19:06.
were having four weeks of preseason training after leaving their clubs | :19:07. | :19:10.
in England and France. That is a transition period and we have to | :19:11. | :19:14.
adapt and even with that as best as we can and I think the guys did very | :19:15. | :19:22.
well. Last year, we had to beat South Africa and we drew against | :19:23. | :19:25.
them so it is a learning process. We are 15 years late to professional | :19:26. | :19:31.
rugby and the clubs and the structure here in Europe but if we | :19:32. | :19:34.
are not here, we will be left out. Talk about today's team. They have | :19:35. | :19:42.
been in the rugby Championship for the last nine weeks and we have a | :19:43. | :19:47.
very strong front row. A very good prop. Very experienced players. On | :19:48. | :20:00.
the second row, their best we have. On the back row, a very young and | :20:01. | :20:05.
experienced back row. Great young prospects. Very good backroom. | :20:06. | :20:17.
Halfback, we have tried this combination. We are changing from | :20:18. | :20:24.
last week. The centres did very well. They are experienced and they | :20:25. | :20:30.
have been there for a while. Andy Buckley, they can do a very damaging | :20:31. | :20:40.
game. Santiago Cordero, very young prospect. And has his 50th cap in | :20:41. | :20:51.
his Argentina shirt. That is the tradition, we cut the hair off. Now, | :20:52. | :21:02.
they have to suffer that! But a really good player. We saw him | :21:03. | :21:09.
against England last week. His first cap, sidestep, 50 metres. How did | :21:10. | :21:17.
you look with your head shaved? Not like myself! Jonathan Davies is in | :21:18. | :21:27.
the commentary box. Good afternoon. We always talk about this team in | :21:28. | :21:32.
terms of attack behind the scrum but other areas where there is room for | :21:33. | :21:37.
improvement? I think there is. You have to earn the right to go wide by | :21:38. | :21:41.
going forward first but at the international level, just take the | :21:42. | :21:49.
ball to the right alley. Alun-Wyn Jones. What they need to do is just | :21:50. | :21:57.
take that lake -- netball at the for Rhys Priestland. You either have | :21:58. | :22:08.
three on one or four players onto. -- on two of them. Great support | :22:09. | :22:17.
play. Scott Williams straightens up. That lovely run around the back of | :22:18. | :22:22.
Jonathan Davies. He has to make a choice. Leigh Halfpenny or Jonathan | :22:23. | :22:29.
Davies? Very well executed move. You have to ask a. To get to the ball | :22:30. | :22:36.
carrier and they have to be five yards in front always. | :22:37. | :22:40.
Unfortunately, they do not get their and that move guys away. That was in | :22:41. | :22:46.
the first ten minutes. Again, they nicked the ball. Toby Faletau takes | :22:47. | :22:55.
a ball. Very condensed. That dummy run, the tech people up, Rhys | :22:56. | :23:00.
Priestland, Leigh Halfpenny needs to go around the back. And from that, | :23:01. | :23:07.
you have that overlap against two of them. These little things they have | :23:08. | :23:13.
to do. Those little differences. I caught up with Warren Gatland during | :23:14. | :23:17.
the week and they said they were playing exceptionally well. They are | :23:18. | :23:21.
really at the top of their game. They have a great bunch of players. | :23:22. | :23:25.
Class players. They just need to find that 1%, chasing lost causes. | :23:26. | :23:32.
Being in support of the breaker and those drivers will come. That will | :23:33. | :23:37.
make the difference. You have got Leigh Halfpenny behind you and there | :23:38. | :23:41.
are people who think that perhaps that channel outside the centre is | :23:42. | :23:46.
the line he could be running. Is that a valid comment? He has great | :23:47. | :23:52.
batteries, rate in the air and his kicking game. He has spoken publicly | :23:53. | :23:58.
about how much he wants the ball in his hands and to run. Looking at | :23:59. | :24:03.
last week, we can perhaps organise better this week. George is not | :24:04. | :24:09.
quite get into the game as much as we would have liked last weekend. It | :24:10. | :24:18.
is all about variety. A couple of years from now, we will be in the | :24:19. | :24:23.
heart of the World Cup. Whatever your thoughts about Wales or England | :24:24. | :24:31.
and Ireland, South Africa at Murrayfield tomorrow, you can | :24:32. | :24:36.
contact us on Facebook or Twitter or e-mail. You can have your say. The | :24:37. | :24:43.
one thing we have not spoken about, which is unusual, is the scrum and | :24:44. | :24:48.
we spoke before the match about South Africa and 56 stone in the | :24:49. | :24:54.
front row and that was a key area. What about the Argentina scrum? Is | :24:55. | :25:05.
that the basis for the Pumas? It is. And that is one of the things it | :25:06. | :25:08.
works really well so we expect that. We expect today to bring the scrum | :25:09. | :25:15.
and to be very physical. Again, Wales are very experienced with the | :25:16. | :25:20.
front five so it will be a good challenge. Martin? Oliver talk about | :25:21. | :25:33.
Gethin Jenkins is correct and Rhodri Jones has been playing | :25:34. | :25:36.
semiprofessional all year. This is a very big step today. He is a natural | :25:37. | :25:43.
forward. And there is no tougher team to play against in the world. | :25:44. | :25:49.
Hopefully the pitch will hold up. The pitch could be an issue because | :25:50. | :25:58.
it looks rugby. -- rugby. A big moment for my macro. 50 caps. Played | :25:59. | :26:06.
in the fantastic World Cup campaign that saw them finishing third. And | :26:07. | :26:13.
in 2011. He has played for Leinster. Here come the Argentina team. One | :26:14. | :26:19.
word game this year in Rome next weekend against Italy. Ashman Eoin | :26:20. | :26:32.
Morgan. -- one war game. Gethin Jenkins. He will shortly run onto | :26:33. | :26:38.
the field at the millennium Stadium. To win his 100th cap. For his | :26:39. | :26:43.
country. And I am sure this is a mixture of pride and aviation and he | :26:44. | :26:50.
will be humbled that the achievement he has. Only three people | :26:51. | :26:54.
previously. What was it like for you? I came off the bench. There was | :26:55. | :27:09.
a cricketer in the 90s who were suffering from injuries but that was | :27:10. | :27:14.
the proudest day he had. I was talking to Trevor woodland, from the | :27:15. | :27:21.
England World Cup team and he said that he was thinking about his | :27:22. | :27:26.
mother and father. I suspect that is what is going to the mind of Gethin | :27:27. | :27:29.
Jenkins at the moment. All of those people who have got him to this | :27:30. | :27:31.
historic moment in his career. 99 caps for Gethin Jenkins. 100 very | :27:32. | :28:07.
shortly. I am just happy he has got rid of his scrum cap. He would be | :28:08. | :28:14.
very unhappy with me saying that. He is a winner, he is a competitor and | :28:15. | :28:18.
he will be desperate for a win today. Both sides are lining up. | :28:19. | :28:25.
Requires will sing the finest national anthems in the world, after | :28:26. | :28:29.

i'r hen iaith barhau. A marvellous song and noise under | :31:28. | :31:51.
the roof away from a gloomy November day outside. There have been a few | :31:52. | :32:00.
of those in recent seasons. Last week's defeat to South Africa left a | :32:01. | :32:04.
few bruises to deal with, but that gives others chances today. Rhodri | :32:05. | :32:16.
Jones is in for Adam Jones. Justin Tipuric is in on the open side. Cory | :32:17. | :32:28.
Allen is the new boy at centre. All apart from Mike Phillips are under | :32:29. | :32:39.
the age of 25. Argentina have been lamenting the loss of their captain | :32:40. | :32:42.
recently. Juan Manuel Leguizamon nowhere is the armband. An injury to | :32:43. | :32:55.
Juan Imhoff will give Santiago Cordero his chance on the wing. A | :32:56. | :33:04.
quick look at the replacements. We should see a debut for the tight | :33:05. | :33:12.
head prop Samson Lee. The referee for this one is John Lacey. He is a | :33:13. | :33:24.
former Munster fullback. The clearing kick under pressure | :33:25. | :33:47.
does not gain too much crown. It was not the greatest. Today, Wales have | :33:48. | :33:57.
got to create and score from those opportunities. The kicking game will | :33:58. | :34:00.
be crucial. That is a good tackle. Bosch made | :34:01. | :35:12.
the tackle on Tipuric. The kick goes into touch. It gets in the | :35:13. | :35:16.
territory. Decent early defence from Argentina. I saw Leigh Halfpenny | :35:17. | :35:25.
running into the hole on the outside of the centre. | :35:26. | :35:41.
That is a very effective credence. It was taken by Manuel Carizza. -- | :35:42. | :35:53.
effective clearance. That was well taken by Tipuric. That | :35:54. | :36:25.
is a great rolling maul. Here come Wales again. Richard Hibbard tries | :36:26. | :36:37.
the off-load. Still with Wales. He is off his feet. That is the | :36:38. | :37:08.
first penalty. Mike Phillips takes it quickly and goes. He finds Toby | :37:09. | :37:10.
Faletau. There is still advantage for the | :37:11. | :37:27.
penalty. Argentina are not back ten metres. | :37:28. | :37:40.
That is a great tackle. It was still advantage. They come back all the | :37:41. | :37:48.
way. It was a very good tackle by Sanchez. I do not think he was | :37:49. | :37:54.
offside. It was from the first infringement. This will be three | :37:55. | :38:02.
points. This will be a first chance at golf early have any. -- at goal | :38:03. | :38:24.
for Leigh Halfpenny. He is one of the stars of world rugby, there is | :38:25. | :38:28.
no doubt about that, with his efforts for the British Lions. That | :38:29. | :38:38.
man did not too bad a job in his absence at the Six Nations. It has | :38:39. | :38:46.
been a long season for the Argentinians. They do not have an | :38:47. | :38:51.
off-season. It is just continues, it runs them ragged. -- continuous. | :38:52. | :39:13.
Halfpenny and Wales are and running. Three points, richly deserved for | :39:14. | :39:20.
all the pressure and play. He does not miss many. 312 points in Welsh | :39:21. | :39:31.
colours now, Leigh Halfpenny. That was a great tackle. That was | :39:32. | :40:19.
all from the tackle. What a fantastic tackle. I think it was | :40:20. | :40:24.
Fernandes. He had help from Manuel Carizza. Watch the tackle. It is a | :40:25. | :40:38.
good body angle. He has got the penalty. It is a big too far out. | :40:39. | :40:53.
George North was talking about wanting a bigger game today. He was | :40:54. | :40:55.
a little bit quiet last week. That was a great run by the | :40:56. | :41:32.
Argentinian captain. It is an interception. Surely it is going to | :41:33. | :41:41.
be a try. Mike Phillips goes the length of the field to score. The | :41:42. | :41:48.
dummy was enough. That is what they needed. Just watch the supporting | :41:49. | :41:53.
run of George North that takes the defenders away from Mike Phillips. | :41:54. | :41:59.
He was looking for support. I did not think that he had the legs. It | :42:00. | :42:07.
was very well finished. Just watch. This is the mistake. It is the rush, | :42:08. | :42:15.
it was a great tackle. The ball bounces to Mike Phillips. Head down, | :42:16. | :42:23.
it is a race. George North comes across, he throws the dummy, both | :42:24. | :42:31.
players go to him. Great support by George North. I great opportunist | :42:32. | :42:42.
try from Mike Phillips. -- a great. Mike Phillips is currently | :42:43. | :42:46.
unattached. And it is a great opportunity and advertisement for | :42:47. | :42:52.
his skills. Leigh Halfpenny Ticketus once again. -- to kick once again. | :42:53. | :43:11.
Wales move to ten points. The tackle for Richard Hibbard one Sanchez | :43:12. | :43:20.
almost made that. Yes. They get smashed. He is in and he is away. He | :43:21. | :43:27.
will flash across, the two defenders will go, and he will score. | :43:28. | :44:15.
This is marvellous from Santiago Cordero. That is magic from the new | :44:16. | :44:22.
boy. There is still a chance for Argentina. There is an incident | :44:23. | :44:34.
here. What a fantastic run. The dummy kick. Away he goes, what a | :44:35. | :45:10.
great run. Penalty here? Get back in your box! He is happy. That does not | :45:11. | :45:18.
meet with approval from the crowd. Let's have a look. Well, the tackle | :45:19. | :45:30.
on Joaquin Tuculet? There are two ways of doing that. Was he going for | :45:31. | :45:36.
the ball carrier? He did hit -- take his opponent out. It is a yellow | :45:37. | :45:42.
card. Very unlucky because I think he was trying to get to the ball | :45:43. | :45:48.
carrier. Wales down to 14 men for the next ten minutes and a chance | :45:49. | :45:55.
for Nicolas Sanchez... Plies his trade at Bardot. -- Bordeaux. And a | :45:56. | :46:07.
chance you. That was so dangerous for Wales! Still Argentina. The ball | :46:08. | :46:19.
favoured them on the interception. One man short. They have to put a | :46:20. | :46:26.
shift in. Plenty here for Argentina. Wonderful off-loading from Marcelo | :46:27. | :46:33.
Bosch. Moving it nicely, the Pumas. Little chip from Lucas Gonzalez | :46:34. | :46:40.
Amorosino. Asher and Nicolas Sanchez. He hits the bread. Take | :46:41. | :46:55.
some stopping. This is the tackle. What do you think? From that angle, | :46:56. | :47:11.
even less conclusive. Play goes on. An opportunity for the Argentinians | :47:12. | :47:14.
to come back and do this, one man short. | :47:15. | :47:22.
Santiago Fernandez, he was bearing down on them all. I am sure he is | :47:23. | :47:30.
going to gather it. That line-out works nicely for Argentina. | :47:31. | :47:52.
Nicolas Sanchez, little clip on that kick. Again, they have won the ball. | :47:53. | :48:08.
If they can move it wide? Again for Argentina. He gets it away to Dan | :48:09. | :48:16.
Biggar. He is chasing three Argentinian players. Into touch. | :48:17. | :48:24.
Quickly taken by Argentina. Gethin Jenkins, though. His first run. | :48:25. | :48:32.
Overlap the side. One man short. Well done, Bradley Davies. Santiago | :48:33. | :48:39.
Cordero again. Just about. Scott Williams. They talk so glowingly | :48:40. | :48:46.
about this talent on the wing. They have such an awareness of space. | :48:47. | :48:52.
Carried in for Argentina. They are attacking with an extra man. Justin | :48:53. | :48:57.
Tipuric, still serving his jail time. Not getting any points, as | :48:58. | :49:08.
yet. Every time the ball has gone down, the Bynes has favoured Wales. | :49:09. | :49:15.
That was well watched by Williams. And Leigh Halfpenny. And Sanchez | :49:16. | :49:25.
waiting in return for that one. Just plugs a guide from just inside his | :49:26. | :49:31.
own body do. Wales will be happy with this. Blind one man and | :49:32. | :49:40.
containing Argentina. Again, he looks up. Secondarily from. Good | :49:41. | :49:57.
cover by Scott Williams. They should always have their heads shaved. | :49:58. | :50:02.
Alun-Wyn Jones. He has taken a knock. You can contact us through | :50:03. | :50:17.
e-mail, that is so last season. Twitter and Facebook. And all that | :50:18. | :50:24.
jazz. Also Instagram. We are aware that! -- with it. Always a struggle | :50:25. | :50:35.
for hookers inside the Millennium Stadium to hear the instructions. | :50:36. | :50:48.
Well taken by Sam Warburton. They did not do enough of this last week | :50:49. | :50:52.
as well. They worked on it in training. He will not be happy with | :50:53. | :50:59.
that. What a turnover that is. That was a bad start for Wales. But they | :51:00. | :51:04.
are a little bit up against it. Still looking very handsome on the | :51:05. | :51:05.
scoreboard, though. And Wales have the penalty inside | :51:06. | :51:19.
the Argentinian half. This will be interesting. Will he go for the | :51:20. | :51:29.
penalty? Yes, he will. Turnover. Gethin Jenkins, isn't it? | :51:30. | :51:49.
Look at the position. That is mostly in the first ten minutes. Again, it | :51:50. | :52:04.
is what you do with your chances when you have the ball. And Wales | :52:05. | :52:09.
have a chance to stretch their lead. 17 minutes. Have we had a scrum yet? | :52:10. | :52:19.
Know, which is why we are all smiling. Quite unusual. No trouble | :52:20. | :52:26.
with the distance. He just needs to stroke it. | :52:27. | :52:38.
Yes, he is running back. He knows it is good. Up 13 points and 91 man. -- | :52:39. | :52:56.
I'm one man. -- down one man. Despite the potential threat for | :52:57. | :52:59.
Argentina, they have nothing and Wales have all the points. That kick | :53:00. | :53:06.
was too far. Taken in by Phillips. That was a good tackle. Phillips | :53:07. | :53:19.
with the kick. And the captain decides to kick. Here he goes, | :53:20. | :53:32.
number eight. Another knock on? Of the food, says the referee. Still | :53:33. | :53:40.
Argentina. Close to the line. That was great play from Juan Manuel | :53:41. | :53:52.
Leguizamon. Pushed back. Still playing with one man advantage, | :53:53. | :53:58.
remember. Scott Williams was rocked as he made that tackle. They need to | :53:59. | :54:08.
go right. And so they do. Still Argentina's ball. But they need | :54:09. | :54:15.
points to show for this. Just slows down a little bit. A little look | :54:16. | :54:19.
around from Martin Landajo. Trouble again. They are saying good football | :54:20. | :54:26.
at the minute, the Argentinians. Go playing. He did not stop play but | :54:27. | :54:32.
everybody halted. And now the penalty to Wales. He said play on | :54:33. | :54:39.
and everyone stopped, even the ball carrier. | :54:40. | :54:50.
Lovely chap. -- chip. Such a good player, 32 macro. Tremendously | :54:51. | :55:11.
powerful. -- Juan Manuel Leguizamon. People will remember his celebration | :55:12. | :55:18.
playing for London Irish. Well, I think there is one minute left in | :55:19. | :55:29.
the sin bin. Both sides in, Captain? Over the head. Loose and taken up. | :55:30. | :55:39.
That was a poor tap. And then they were shoving it on. Alun-Wyn Jones | :55:40. | :55:50.
and support. Scott Williams. Where does this one go? It will go on. We | :55:51. | :55:57.
have a little bit of a scrum here. Exciting. The first scrum. I do not | :55:58. | :56:03.
understand that little kick. That is always dangerous. Just in time. | :56:04. | :56:15.
Justin Tipuric comes back on. And Wales scored three points to ring | :56:16. | :56:23.
that time. -- during. The first scrum of the match. The first test. | :56:24. | :56:28.
Rhodri Jones. I want your shoulders up. Here we | :56:29. | :56:47.
go. That is not acceptable. Both of you. OK? John Leslie laying down the | :56:48. | :56:54.
law. And down she goes again. Penalty. | :56:55. | :57:12.
Not yet perfect. Maximilano Bustos penalised. Downward pressure on the | :57:13. | :57:20.
right shoulder, he said. Chance for a relieving kick. From Dan Biggar. | :57:21. | :57:31.
That is a good kick as well. Argentina conceding more penalties | :57:32. | :57:43.
earlier on. The line-up coming up. I think they will be happy with things | :57:44. | :57:47.
so far. Just if you mistakes to iron out. Straight through! No stopping | :57:48. | :57:57.
him! In for the try for Wales. Their second. That is a very well worked | :57:58. | :58:09.
try. You take all of the back row forwards, up to the line, expecting | :58:10. | :58:15.
to go midfield. And then he just steams up the middle. They tied him | :58:16. | :58:24.
in. He takes the last man. Lovely step. They have worked and worked | :58:25. | :58:38.
this one on the training field. He said he wanted to make more of an | :58:39. | :58:41.
impact this week and George North, with the try. And Wales have 20 | :58:42. | :58:48.
points. This is a very good try. Just watch this. He goes to the | :58:49. | :59:00.
back. Just watch. Mike Phillips takes the last man white. That is a | :59:01. | :59:05.
lovely step. Very well worked, that is. Ominous for Argentina. Get the | :59:06. | :59:19.
ball. Out into touch. It is draining for these players. They did not too | :59:20. | :59:28.
badly against Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. But there | :59:29. | :59:32.
were also some heavy defeats in their as well. It will take a while | :59:33. | :59:38.
to adjust to the pace of that competition. Alun-Wyn Jones. Penalty | :59:39. | :59:53.
to Wales. Offside. Did he have his hands on the ball? Don't take the | :59:54. | :00:12.
chance. See of his hands were on the ball. See if his hands. Juan Manuel | :00:13. | :00:25.
Leguizamon felt it was fair play to go through and try and get that all. | :00:26. | :00:36.
Yet, just watch. He says his hands will run the ball. Was it off, I do | :00:37. | :00:40.
not know? It is a tough one to call. -- was it offside. That is of side. | :00:41. | :01:30.
Wade is the mark? That is an interesting col. Does he go for goal | :01:31. | :01:37.
the touchline? Marcelo Bosch has plenty of distance. I think there is | :01:38. | :01:42.
enough time left. You have got to take the points. There might be as | :01:43. | :01:58.
-- there might be some choice language going on down there. | :01:59. | :02:03.
Apologies for that. It is these rugs and types. It is the referee's | :02:04. | :02:07.
microphone. It is picking up everything. | :02:08. | :02:58.
Wales claim that was a knock-on, but the referee says no. Advantage to | :02:59. | :03:08.
Argentina for an offside, and the penalties there is. -- is theirs. | :03:09. | :03:27.
Look at this tackle. Richard Hibbard. That is a good head. There | :03:28. | :03:40.
are not many hookers in the game better than him at the moment. A | :03:41. | :03:51.
chance for the first points on the board. Nicolas Sanchez gathers them | :03:52. | :04:10.
up. South Africa are playing Scotland at Murrayfield tomorrow. | :04:11. | :04:21.
Today, Ireland take on Australia later on. England are playing New | :04:22. | :04:32.
Zealand at the moment. It is on BBC radio just now and you can see | :04:33. | :04:33.
highlights tomorrow. Release, number seven. It is | :04:34. | :04:49.
Argentina's ball again. That was a little knock-on by | :04:50. | :05:27.
Argentina. It is Wales's ball in the scrum. They are quite energetic, the | :05:28. | :05:37.
Argentinians. That is a lot of variety in their play. I think | :05:38. | :05:44.
they're trying to expand the game. It has been quite entertaining in | :05:45. | :05:49.
that respect. This is only the third scrum we have had. I am watching | :05:50. | :06:00.
that left shoulder. Make sure that he binds. It is OK, other than that. | :06:01. | :06:09.
The referee is having a chat to Gethin Jenkins. 30 minutes gone at | :06:10. | :06:20.
the millennium Stadium. It all looks good for Wales. Let's get some | :06:21. | :06:31.
thoughts from the studio. At the moment, I think that Argentina have | :06:32. | :06:34.
played most of the rugby. I think that they need to be more tactical | :06:35. | :06:41.
about it. Wales are slowing the ball really well in the contact area. | :06:42. | :06:47.
Argentina are trying too hard and Wales are capitalising. The thoughts | :06:48. | :06:58.
of the former Argentina captain. He led them so well at the 2007 | :06:59. | :07:13.
Argentina -- 2007 World Cup. There was good yardage on that kick. It | :07:14. | :07:23.
was a good game. The pace has just dropped a little bit in this match. | :07:24. | :07:28.
But it has been very entertaining, the opening half-hour. Wales scored | :07:29. | :07:32.
the vast majority of the points. Biggar sees space in the corner. It | :07:33. | :08:13.
has gone the wrong side of the corner flag. We understand that | :08:14. | :08:20.
there was going to be rotation at Number 10, that Biggar was always | :08:21. | :08:32.
going to come in for this game. I think that Rhys Priestland and | :08:33. | :08:35.
Biggar crippling exception of the well this season. They are picking | :08:36. | :08:51.
from strength. -- are playing exceptionally well this season. | :08:52. | :08:58.
James Hook is waiting. I am sure that he will, and later. We have not | :08:59. | :09:13.
had many scrums so far. Come on, get your feet underneath. Let's have a | :09:14. | :09:33.
good scrum. One that finishes. That was a good shot from Argentina. It | :09:34. | :09:39.
is a solid scrum. I think the Welsh will be happy with that. | :09:40. | :09:57.
I have been very impressed with the Argentinian attack. There has been | :09:58. | :10:04.
lots of good running and lots of writing. -- lots of variety. That is | :10:05. | :10:19.
a penalty for Argentina. Liam Williams is penalised. Number 11, | :10:20. | :10:32.
released the ball first. There he is, he stayed on his feet, but he | :10:33. | :10:37.
did not release it. That was a good decision from John Lacey. Joaquin | :10:38. | :10:46.
Tuculet is trying to bite off a huge amount here. That is a poor, poor | :10:47. | :10:57.
kick. Joaquin Tuculet quiz taking out by Richard Hibbard. -- was taken | :10:58. | :11:14.
out. Martin Landajo, the Argentinian scrum-halves, is making light | :11:15. | :11:15.
complaints. Wales are going to have the line-out | :11:16. | :11:54.
deep inside the Argentinian 22. Yes, and what an opportunity to | :11:55. | :12:04.
attack. The ball is out. The careful. -- be careful. That was | :12:05. | :12:27.
never in touch. It was a great take. Wales are looking to end the second | :12:28. | :12:41.
half strongly. Let me deal with that. The last scrum was good for | :12:42. | :12:54.
you. The last scrum was pretty good from both sides. Yes. Young Rhodri | :12:55. | :13:06.
Jones is doing a good job. You can see it beginning to go down. Rhodri | :13:07. | :13:17.
Jones gets a pat on the back from Alun Wyn Jones. He has big shoes to | :13:18. | :13:25.
fill, from Adam Jones. He has sliced that. Little things | :13:26. | :14:02.
like that make a big difference. There are just under two minutes | :14:03. | :14:06.
left. Wales will see this is a bigger but unity. -- as a big | :14:07. | :14:19.
attacking opportunity. If they can get something from this, they will | :14:20. | :14:22.
be pleased with their first-half performance. | :14:23. | :14:35.
The knock-on came from Argentina in the end. There is a significant | :14:36. | :14:43.
difference in the support lines today. Look at them running, looking | :14:44. | :14:48.
for the past. That is the difference. This is a good scrum | :14:49. | :14:51.
position. Held at the back. Toby Faletau picks | :14:52. | :15:20.
up. Mike Phillips, looking inside. Straight in front of him. They are | :15:21. | :15:28.
both wingers on that side. Penalty, but might be the last action of this | :15:29. | :15:35.
far. -- that. Juan Manuel Leguizamon complains. This will go for the | :15:36. | :15:50.
goal. Well, no time left. I was not sure what was happening, there. Mike | :15:51. | :16:05.
Phillips looked a little bit lost. REFEREE: 15, inside one metre, | :16:06. | :16:13.
please. Leigh Halfpenny, trying to sneak one extra yard, there. | :16:14. | :16:21.
Tremendously rich source of points, hears. -- he is. This will be the | :16:22. | :16:29.
last touch of this half. Wonderful kick. Five from five four | :16:30. | :17:06.
Leigh Halfpenny, and a very impressive first-half for Wales. | :17:07. | :17:13.
Deservedly well in front. They are running in pairs. One opportunist | :17:14. | :17:18.
interception from Mike Phillips and a very well worked training ground | :17:19. | :17:26.
execution. So, yes, they will be very happy and comfortable and will | :17:27. | :17:29.
want to build on that in the second half. A funny old game because | :17:30. | :17:40.
Argentina have the best opportunities but the day began with | :17:41. | :17:44.
Gethin Jenkins acknowledging the fact that this is his 100th cap. A | :17:45. | :17:52.
dropped ball and Mike Phillips was away with great running from George | :17:53. | :17:58.
North. Look out for this man in the future. Santiago Cordero. But that | :17:59. | :18:05.
chance went begging. George North how that great inside pass off the | :18:06. | :18:10.
back of the line-out and Wales had two tries to the good. 23-3 at | :18:11. | :18:24.
half-time. More meters made for Argentina. There are no clear-cut | :18:25. | :18:31.
opportunities. Argentina would leave that as well. -- lead. Martin? Yes, | :18:32. | :18:42.
Jonathan said that. Strange game. Argentina played pretty well with | :18:43. | :18:46.
the ball in hand, similar to Wales last week, not clinical enough. | :18:47. | :18:52.
It is a long road back because Wales are defending pretty well. Strange | :18:53. | :18:58.
one to analyse. Everybody remembers watching you playing when you were | :18:59. | :19:07.
all this and that. You wear! Yes, I think again, Argentina played a lot | :19:08. | :19:16.
of rugby and I said this before, tactically, we are not playing well, | :19:17. | :19:21.
Argentina is used to being put under pressure. This is the balance we are | :19:22. | :19:26.
searching for in the Championship. You need to score tries and the boys | :19:27. | :19:30.
have played a lot of rugby, they are trying hard but mistakes at this | :19:31. | :19:34.
level, you lose the ball and Mike Phillips was under the post. You get | :19:35. | :19:40.
it wrong on the defence and that is 20 points. And Wales have been an | :19:41. | :19:48.
hour have scored. Very clinical. As a neutral fan, they will be very | :19:49. | :19:53.
restricted, Argentina. Fluid in attack and a couple of mistakes. | :19:54. | :20:00.
From a Welsh point of view, they have not played so much rugby. Going | :20:01. | :20:05.
back to Mike Phillips, we have analysed this, Argentina have just | :20:06. | :20:13.
overcomplicated things. Santiago Cordero, if he just passes this, | :20:14. | :20:18.
Juan Manuel Leguizamon would be through, under the post, but he has | :20:19. | :20:23.
gone for the ball behind. That was a poor pass to Nicolas Sanchez and you | :20:24. | :20:29.
could argue they should have done better. Mike Phillips is doing very | :20:30. | :20:34.
well. That was a good speed. And George North? Martin mentioned his | :20:35. | :20:43.
skill and vision, George has made that trip. Working very hard off the | :20:44. | :20:51.
ball. That 14 point swing and psychologically for Argentina, they | :20:52. | :20:56.
have played some good food and they are down and have not done anything | :20:57. | :21:00.
wrong, really. That is such a big dent. The man with no hair and the | :21:01. | :21:10.
dancing feet. I said that before. You were watching him last year, | :21:11. | :21:15.
eight years young and talented. He enjoys playing rugby. He was | :21:16. | :21:31.
selected to play in our under 20 and under 19 teams and I do not want to | :21:32. | :21:36.
talk too much about him but I have said this before, he is going to be | :21:37. | :21:42.
a fine rugby player. This was a magnificent chance? The centres are | :21:43. | :21:47.
always taught to chase kicks in Wales. That was a golden opportunity | :21:48. | :21:52.
for Argentina. They will look back at that. That could prove pivotal. | :21:53. | :22:00.
That was pivotal and if the first try, from Phillips, was the Ford | :22:01. | :22:06.
team point swing, then the try from George North, opportunism? This | :22:07. | :22:17.
looks pretty clear-cut. I think that was poor defence. No communication | :22:18. | :22:23.
at the back. That is a training ground move. Argentina were a little | :22:24. | :22:30.
bit vulnerable at the line-out but that was a great finish and great | :22:31. | :22:33.
execution, great little touch from Mike Phillips. Justin Tipuric and | :22:34. | :22:40.
Toby Faletau, midfield, that counts at this level. This is what I talk | :22:41. | :22:48.
about, being clinical. Mike Phillips fuzzy inside ball and he can go out. | :22:49. | :22:57.
But was a well executed move. We did not see that coming on the inside. | :22:58. | :23:03.
Once the first line of defence is gone, it is very dangerous to catch | :23:04. | :23:08.
up. I am sure you have done this, when George North is running at you | :23:09. | :23:12.
from the line, it is not much fun? It is frightening. If there is one | :23:13. | :23:19.
player who could play in the NFL! He has got the size and the pace and | :23:20. | :23:24.
the agility. When you have that agility and that size, it is scary. | :23:25. | :23:30.
He has shown that he is one of the leading wingers in world rugby and | :23:31. | :23:36.
only 21? He will be doing what Gethin Jenkins was doing. Talk about | :23:37. | :23:40.
the way that Wales have slowed the ball down? They have done a very | :23:41. | :23:47.
good job. We missed 12 tackles, which is not like Wales. Perhaps not | :23:48. | :23:52.
creating the actual turnovers but if you look at these examples, slowing | :23:53. | :24:00.
the ball down, just a spit second. Justin Tipuric slows down, does not | :24:01. | :24:03.
steal the ball but he knocks the momentum and a good -- they get that | :24:04. | :24:09.
full red line of defence. Pretty decent ball, quick ball. Rhodri | :24:10. | :24:14.
Jones and Sam Warburton, they do not win the turnover, which makes it so | :24:15. | :24:22.
easy for the line, the defence. It is those little things, and | :24:23. | :24:31.
Argentina get frustrated. One final talking point, Ryan Moore is a | :24:32. | :24:36.
regular part of the team here and he has been raving for many years about | :24:37. | :24:44.
the scrum and we have somebody here is a key person in deciding the | :24:45. | :24:47.
future direction of the game. What is happening? We all agree that it | :24:48. | :24:54.
has been the most criticised part of the game and, again, it is a very | :24:55. | :25:01.
technical part of the game and the referee, it is very hard for him. I | :25:02. | :25:06.
am not so sure that the referee knows or understands clearly what's | :25:07. | :25:10.
going on. How do you get them to understand? We are working with | :25:11. | :25:14.
those new changes. And they are helping a lot. What we will see this | :25:15. | :25:19.
autumn is the new rules are changing but, again, it is a very complex | :25:20. | :25:25.
situation and you can ask the front row or anybody in the scrummage, it | :25:26. | :25:30.
is a completely different world in the scrum half. I feel sorry for the | :25:31. | :25:36.
referee. Criticise them when the ball is not being put in straight | :25:37. | :25:41.
because that is clear to see. You need a front row forward there. In | :25:42. | :25:48.
some shape or form, to help referee. I cannot comment too much but for an | :25:49. | :25:52.
area of the game that plays such a pivotal part in the outcome, for it | :25:53. | :25:56.
to be such a grey area, that is frustrating at the highest level. | :25:57. | :26:01.
Argentina, they pride themselves on the scrum, down the years they have | :26:02. | :26:05.
won matches from the back of the scrum. To be such a grey area is | :26:06. | :26:10.
very frustrating for this game. All of us have to work, not only the | :26:11. | :26:16.
referee. We have to educate players to do scrummage is well and | :26:17. | :26:21.
straight. And for coaches to help that and for the IRB and the various | :26:22. | :26:26.
panels to work on this and make it clear. Because it is a very | :26:27. | :26:29.
important part and it is in the DNA of our game. We cannot make it | :26:30. | :26:34.
weaker. We are relying on you to sort it out at! Andy Moore rugby to | :26:35. | :26:42.
show you later on. Ireland against Australia from Dublin coming up | :26:43. | :26:48.
after this and after that... -- we have plenty more rugby. | :26:49. | :27:07.
That is later tonight. Following the Ireland, Australia game which kicks | :27:08. | :27:19.
off at 4:55pm. That is on BBC Two. And England against Australia, | :27:20. | :27:23.
highlights on BBC Three at 7pm and repeated tomorrow as well and a | :27:24. | :27:27.
special programme this week, because this is the 10th anniversary of | :27:28. | :27:31.
England winning the World Cup on November the 22nd. On the 21st of | :27:32. | :27:39.
November, Clive Woodward reviews that much and where he thinks that | :27:40. | :27:45.
England went right and wrong. Let us talk about this game and the second | :27:46. | :27:48.
half because 20 points, what do you do? If you carry on playing the | :27:49. | :27:55.
game, you could still suffer a very clinical Welsh side slowing the ball | :27:56. | :27:59.
right down. And kicking very well. They have to start with the | :28:00. | :28:03.
fundamentals. But the ball behind the back of the Welsh front line and | :28:04. | :28:09.
tried to create opportunities and put them under pressure. One of the | :28:10. | :28:14.
advantages of able getting injured is you must give others an | :28:15. | :28:16.
opportunity to see what they are made of which might be the start of | :28:17. | :28:20.
who knows what. What have you made of Cory Allen? He has not had too | :28:21. | :28:25.
many opportunities with the ball but defensively, he has done very well. | :28:26. | :28:31.
We like to come out of the line and make good decisions and he has done | :28:32. | :28:35.
that. Shaun Edwards will be very pleased. But the type of game to get | :28:36. | :28:39.
the ball in his hands too much but hopefully in the second half. 20 | :28:40. | :28:47.
points, they need to just come out with the correct mindset and take | :28:48. | :28:49.
the game to Argentina. Argentina came out and they did say last week | :28:50. | :28:55.
at Twickenham. They are causing the Welsh problems with the ball in | :28:56. | :28:59.
hand. The Welsh will want to tighten up and make sure they have more | :29:00. | :29:03.
fluid -- fluency with the ball in hand. Go through the phases a little | :29:04. | :29:08.
bit more and put the Argentinians under more pressure. That is James | :29:09. | :29:13.
Hook. This has been a very long half-time. What happens is we have a | :29:14. | :29:21.
raft of replacements which might disrupt the continuity of the game. | :29:22. | :29:30.
If you look at the Welsh bench, they are in a good place. They want to | :29:31. | :29:35.
just kick on. This is what topsides do. The first score either get | :29:36. | :29:41.
Argentina back into the match or puts Wales well and truly out of | :29:42. | :29:44.
sight. It will be very important. Jonathan Davies and Andrew | :29:45. | :29:46.
Cotter... If Wales need anyone in, they only | :29:47. | :29:56.
need to look to last week when England had a very similar lead at | :29:57. | :30:01.
half-time and Argentina came back. In the rugby Championship, the teams | :30:02. | :30:06.
they play, they cannot just roll over in the second half. Because | :30:07. | :30:12.
they will be put away quite heavily. They are accustomed to coming out | :30:13. | :30:15.
behind and they will give it all again. The right mindset. Argentina | :30:16. | :30:32.
have made one change. Amorosino is on at fullback. Joaquin Tuculet is. | :30:33. | :30:42.
-- is off. That is a good drive. He was held | :30:43. | :31:31.
up. That is good captaincy. Keeping the referee suite is very important. | :31:32. | :31:43.
Perhaps he slipped him some money! It is a good scrum from Argentina, | :31:44. | :31:45.
but Wales get it away smartly. If they get it wide, there is a | :31:46. | :32:37.
chance. Scott Williams. George North, Leigh Halfpenny is there. | :32:38. | :33:03.
A second chance for George North. He was taken down round the ankles. But | :33:04. | :33:11.
it is coming back for a Welsh penalty. Let's see what they do | :33:12. | :33:19.
here. They should take the points. George North is in trouble. I think | :33:20. | :33:26.
he just tripped over. It looked very innocuous. We hope that he is just | :33:27. | :33:35.
winded. We hope it is nothing more serious. Let's see what happened. He | :33:36. | :33:48.
skips the tackle. I think it is just astray and former Albacete. -- a | :33:49. | :34:01.
stray arm from Albacete. Perhaps he landed awkwardly on his neck. They | :34:02. | :34:13.
will take every precaution. His arms were trapped so he could not stretch | :34:14. | :34:18.
them out to save himself. He is a bright, thankfully. Leigh Halfpenny | :34:19. | :34:32.
will put the three points over. He is back on his feet. It is a great | :34:33. | :34:41.
run. George North is back on his feet. If you want to beat Southern | :34:42. | :34:48.
Hemisphere sides, those are the opportunities you have to score. If | :34:49. | :34:57.
you think of any of the top three sides, having a breakaway like that, | :34:58. | :35:04.
they would score. The Welsh boys will be disappointed with that, | :35:05. | :35:08.
because they are tight with really great force. -- because they | :35:09. | :35:23.
attacked. Well, they did not score a try, but it ends with three more | :35:24. | :35:26.
points on the board for Wales. Look at this. George off-loads. That was | :35:27. | :35:36.
a great opportunity. That was carried back into the 22, | :35:37. | :36:02.
so out on the full works even better for Argentina. Yes. Let's have a | :36:03. | :36:11.
look at this take. That is nothing really wrong with that. Bradley | :36:12. | :36:24.
Davies is still down. Luke Charteris is waiting on the bench. There he | :36:25. | :36:47.
is. That is the lovely inside pass. This is a great tackle. This is the | :36:48. | :37:02.
tackle. He is tough to bring down. He is very strong and quick. Bradley | :37:03. | :37:10.
Davies is still receiving treatment. You can contact us through all | :37:11. | :37:16.
manner of social media. The details are run the screen. -- are on the | :37:17. | :37:31.
screen. Argentina with a good attacking position. Bradley Davies | :37:32. | :37:33.
is back with us. That is good play by Tipuric. That | :37:34. | :37:44.
is what he is therefore. Good play by Biggar. He saw where | :37:45. | :38:15.
the touchline was and he just drilled him in the tackle. They are | :38:16. | :38:24.
just picking up the pace. The Argentinians must be tired. They | :38:25. | :38:31.
have the longest season of any national side. They are bound to | :38:32. | :38:33.
tire. Play with intensity and pace. Santiago Fernandez was looking for | :38:34. | :39:22.
that one, but Leigh Halfpenny claimed it. That was unlucky. It was | :39:23. | :39:35.
a forward pass in the end. It has gone into touch, that is the | :39:36. | :39:40.
decision. He just tried to play the overlap. That is what he did. Just | :39:41. | :39:56.
watching. -- just watch him. I think Faletau is a fantastic footballer. | :39:57. | :40:06.
There he is. His father was a great Tongan international. He claimed -- | :40:07. | :40:16.
he came to play rugby in the field, and Di Resta is history. -- in Ebbw | :40:17. | :40:45.
Vale and the rest is history. The scrum is sad. It is a penalty for | :40:46. | :41:02.
Argentina. Gus Pichot in the studio summed it up. Does anyone know what | :41:03. | :41:15.
is going on in the scrum? That was a decent kick. That is the position | :41:16. | :41:26.
for Argentina. They are 23 points adrift at the moment. If they got | :41:27. | :41:31.
one score, they might be able to feel their way back into this game. | :41:32. | :41:36.
But they are looking a little blunting the final third of the | :41:37. | :41:37.
pitch. Alun Wyn Jones trying to get fit in. | :41:38. | :42:35.
-- to get a foot in. Sanchez had a pop at it. He knew the penalty was | :42:36. | :42:39.
coming. That is why he had a go at it. Wales 23 points in front. | :42:40. | :42:53.
They're having to make a few tackles as well. Yes. Wales have missed a | :42:54. | :43:02.
few as well. They will not be happy with that statistic. That is Jamie | :43:03. | :43:19.
Robinson. -- Jamie Roberts. Sanchez gathers the points for Argentina | :43:20. | :43:25.
with a wonderfully easy style. They are back within 20 points. It is | :43:26. | :43:33.
very different to the match we saw last year between these two sides. | :43:34. | :43:38.
Wales were very off-colour, and Argentina were said a better side. | :43:39. | :43:42.
They have been beaten up a little bit this year. Juan Manuel | :43:43. | :43:45.
Leguizamon again. That is a terrible mistake. You get | :43:46. | :44:00.
points on the board, and the next thing, the client layout of the own | :44:01. | :44:05.
22, and they give Wales a great attacking position. -- they try and | :44:06. | :44:24.
play out of their own 22. Wales have options either side. | :44:25. | :44:39.
It is a free kick. Not straight at the scrum. It is a free kick for | :44:40. | :44:46.
Argentina. There she goes. Luckily, he missed | :44:47. | :45:11.
that. Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino floats that wide. Maximilano Bustos | :45:12. | :45:22.
off-loads. Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino switches it | :45:23. | :45:38.
infield to Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino. Penalty to Wales. I think they will | :45:39. | :45:57.
bring Leigh Halfpenny up? So far, six from six. From Leigh Halfpenny. | :45:58. | :46:07.
That is the first dummy. Good off the ball rolling. Lovely finish. | :46:08. | :46:17.
There have been mutterings about Mike Phillips becoming a centre of a | :46:18. | :46:20.
contract player. Always a talking point. He is unattached at the | :46:21. | :46:25.
moment and the six Nations is coming up. Might be an opportunity to see | :46:26. | :46:29.
how it goes. Wales with a couple of tries and the | :46:30. | :46:51.
steady, unyielding boot of Leigh Halfpenny. | :46:52. | :47:12.
That was a rare mess. That was one of his easier kicks. It just drifted | :47:13. | :47:21.
off? Yes, the follow-through was not quite there. Just drifts past the | :47:22. | :47:32.
upright. The game has not quite been killed off just yet. The restart. | :47:33. | :47:51.
Almost backwards? Yes. Fernandez. Just waiting for a change from | :47:52. | :47:57.
Argentina. Bringing on Leonardo Senatore, coming on for Pablo | :47:58. | :48:07.
Matera. He has a hint of Alun-Wyn Jones about him. It has not been a | :48:08. | :48:16.
great game for him, one of the great players in the Argentinian side. | :48:17. | :48:31.
Always works. Point the camera at him! That was a good drive from | :48:32. | :48:44.
Argentina. Wales have to be sharp. Leigh Halfpenny, except well. | :48:45. | :48:56.
Wonderful try for Toby Faletau. The Argentinian defence cut apart. That | :48:57. | :49:01.
is what we like to see, Leigh Halfpenny, running deep. He has the | :49:02. | :49:08.
pace. Lee Williams gets the pace. And brilliant support play from Toby | :49:09. | :49:21.
Faletau. Get on the outside. The winner is caught inside. Lovely | :49:22. | :49:29.
finish. Santiago Cordero gets caught a little bit. Leigh Halfpenny gets | :49:30. | :49:34.
on the outside. The inexperience of Santiago Cordero. Lovely inside ball | :49:35. | :49:38.
and great support play. Lovely drive. The second half needed | :49:39. | :49:47.
something to lift the crowd and Toby Faletau delivered that. Three tries | :49:48. | :49:49.
for Wales. They are past 30 points. That was low but through the posts. | :49:50. | :50:08.
Two point four Leigh Halfpenny. And at the moment they are heading in | :50:09. | :50:14.
the right action. Here we go. How can a free kick be | :50:15. | :50:30.
given at the last scrum? That was blatantly not straight. But the | :50:31. | :50:36.
referee has to be consistent. Penalise him again. You wonder why | :50:37. | :50:42.
they give the occasional one, there. Little bit of frustration. Here come | :50:43. | :50:54.
Wales again. Cory Allen gives the dummy. Back infield to Leigh | :50:55. | :51:01.
Halfpenny, trying to sneak through. Still, Wales come. Philip 's is | :51:02. | :51:03.
down. Justin Tipuric. Richard Hibbard is in there. Cory | :51:04. | :51:28.
Allen, that was well placed. Taken out as he was grabbing adept by | :51:29. | :51:36.
Santiago Fernandez. All fair, says the referee. So near for George | :51:37. | :51:44.
North. Here we go, Mike Phillips. Great ball, as well. Cory Allen. | :51:45. | :51:50.
Plenty of support, there. Inside ball. One little pass and they are | :51:51. | :51:58.
in. That was fantastic scrambled defence. Just a little bit too far, | :51:59. | :52:08.
I feel. You have to tackle the player. Look at that. He goes for | :52:09. | :52:14.
it. If he takes it, he has to make the tackle. It is not a penalty. You | :52:15. | :52:17.
have to make that penalty. Argentina about to make another | :52:18. | :52:35.
change. Sam Warburton asking the referee about tackling of the ball. | :52:36. | :52:46.
The assistant said, that was not a penalty. So, Argentina making the | :52:47. | :52:59.
change. Gabriel Ascarate. He is on, the Glasgow centre. | :53:00. | :53:11.
Good position as well. Argentina's ball. Into the final quarter. | :53:12. | :53:20.
Wales have to keep their discipline. Good field position. Dancing George | :53:21. | :53:48.
North keeps it in! Liam Williams. That was a poor kick. That was a | :53:49. | :53:56.
shocker. Given away to Juan Manuel Leguizamon. The game has picked up | :53:57. | :54:06.
in temple again. This is what Wales have to do. -- tempo. Here they go | :54:07. | :54:18.
again. The chance to counterattack. Give it to George Owen. George North | :54:19. | :54:21.
is the man chasing. All side. That offside. Yes, feet inside. Yes. | :54:22. | :54:57.
What thoughts from the studio. In the first-half, tactically we were | :54:58. | :55:02.
not laying in the right places. We were just playing on our pitch a lot | :55:03. | :55:07.
of the time. I am sure that in the dressing room, they have said, go | :55:08. | :55:13.
out and play. But laying against a very clinical Welsh side, when you | :55:14. | :55:19.
play in your have, the ball is very difficult to just go 50 or 60 | :55:20. | :55:25.
metres. Argentina have put in a lot of the effort but Wales have done | :55:26. | :55:31.
really well in the second half. They have had plenty of ball. Plenty of | :55:32. | :55:36.
rugby to play. But not in the right areas. As is always the way in | :55:37. | :55:45.
rugby. Yes, there is George North playing in the centre. This could be | :55:46. | :55:54.
a channel ball out, very quickly. Toby Faletau down the right-hand | :55:55. | :55:58.
side. With Leigh Halfpenny, George and Liam Williams. The pitch has | :55:59. | :56:04.
held up pretty well today. At this time of year it is not bad at all. | :56:05. | :56:07.
Holding up very well. We want to see this scrum. It is an | :56:08. | :56:24.
attacking opportunity. I was walking past the park this morning, the | :56:25. | :56:32.
artificial one. And at Liberty Stadium they have that hybrid one. | :56:33. | :56:38.
Might that we the future? Maybe. The drainage is not very good here. | :56:39. | :56:48.
Another massive effort by Richard Hibbard. Ken Owens is on to replace | :56:49. | :57:09.
him. The Welsh ball. Again, Toby Faletau has to get rid of that | :57:10. | :57:12.
sharply. Great strength by Cory Allen. Enjoying his first cap. More | :57:13. | :57:23.
of the ball in the second half. Yes. Scott Williams. Rhodri Jones, and | :57:24. | :57:36.
wide it comes. Luke Charteris off-loading. He is on for Bradley | :57:37. | :57:49.
Davies. Well, it has been another good game for Richard Hibbard. That | :57:50. | :57:56.
is a great run by Richard Hibbard, there. He tries to off-load. Nearly | :57:57. | :58:17.
50,000 here today, under the roof. Well, 46,000, the official | :58:18. | :58:22.
attendance. Four matches for Wales in this international series. If | :58:23. | :58:31.
they were to be Tonga, and Australia after that decent performance, they | :58:32. | :58:34.
detect that. They were not far away against South Africa. -- they would | :58:35. | :58:42.
take that. So, just about ready to go again. | :58:43. | :59:12.
Again, options either side. Leigh Halfpenny has dropped back. You | :59:13. | :59:22.
expect Argentina to win this scrum. Sometimes they don't look straight | :59:23. | :59:25.
but they have to go down that channel. They don't have to be | :59:26. | :59:30.
exactly straight? Some part of the ball has got to be in the middle, | :59:31. | :59:34.
that is what they say. Referees have got to be consistent and then the | :59:35. | :59:39.
scrum half will put the ball in straight or else they will be sat on | :59:40. | :59:44.
the bench, in the sin bin. From up above, that looked askew. Just get | :59:45. | :59:54.
on with it. That was a very good kick. A little bit unlucky. Leigh | :59:55. | :00:04.
Halfpenny was not really sure. He was blowing it. 15 minutes to go. | :00:05. | :00:25.
Wales just about home and dry. They are going to play to the last minute | :00:26. | :00:28.
and they want to show a little bit more. Argentina with a couple | :00:29. | :00:31.
waiting to come on. Amorosino was under pressure, and | :00:32. | :01:03.
Wales get deep -- get the penalty. This is a chance to try and find | :01:04. | :01:10.
field position. He has gone for good distance, Biggar. That is a great | :01:11. | :01:22.
kick. It is wonderful. On come the replacements for Argentina, the | :01:23. | :01:30.
hooker, Santiago Iglesias Valdes. Also, Tomas Lavanini. He is the | :01:31. | :01:40.
second row. He comes on for Manuel Carizza. The other player to leave | :01:41. | :01:46.
his Eusebio Guinazu. The ball is at the back with Ken | :01:47. | :02:16.
Owens. They are going faster now, driving towards the line. Another | :02:17. | :02:26.
try for Wales. They will be absolutely delighted, Ken Owens, | :02:27. | :02:33.
absolutely delighted. Very well worked, total control. It is a first | :02:34. | :02:44.
try for Wales for Ken Owens. They have produced all sorts of tries | :02:45. | :02:49.
today from a variety of positions. This was all the forwards. Yes, | :02:50. | :03:00.
total control. They were patient. I will let Martyn Williams in the | :03:01. | :03:03.
studio explain that one in finer detail. Ken Owens, happy with his | :03:04. | :03:20.
work. Wales are ready to make a couple of substitutions as well. Lee | :03:21. | :03:25.
have any will try and get Wales to 40 points. -- Leigh Halfpenny. | :03:26. | :03:47.
That is a wonderful strike! Wales hit 40. This is turning into a very | :03:48. | :04:00.
impressive win. Wales take the chance to make other changes as we | :04:01. | :04:04.
look at the try again. Yes, total control. There he is, Gethin | :04:05. | :04:19.
Jenkins. Well played, his 100th cap. He is world class. James Hook is on. | :04:20. | :04:30.
Samson Lee is in the front row for Rhodri Jones. It is his first cap. | :04:31. | :04:38.
Lloyd Williams is also one. Wales are running riot. -- is also on. | :04:39. | :05:17.
Wales have got to keep it going. Argentina are man short on this | :05:18. | :05:29.
side. They are always isolated. It is a penalty, quickly taking. | :05:30. | :06:02.
I think there is an injury on the far side for Wales. I think it is | :06:03. | :06:19.
Scott Williams. Scott Williams was trying to get his hands on it. It | :06:20. | :06:22.
might be an interception. Marcelo Bosch. It is a very loose game now. | :06:23. | :06:34.
The players are very tired. It comes back to Sanchez. | :06:35. | :07:34.
That is a contest on the ground. It is a penalty to Argentina. There is | :07:35. | :08:06.
Ashley Beck. That went the wrong side of the corner flag. Ashley Beck | :08:07. | :08:17.
comes on. Argentina are making changes as well. That is Nahuel | :08:18. | :08:26.
Lobo, the Newcastle prop. He is coming on for Marcos Ayerza. The | :08:27. | :08:32.
Leicester man has not really had his chance to do anything in the scrum. | :08:33. | :08:43.
Cory Allen was the man to give way to Ashley Beck. Eight minutes to go. | :08:44. | :08:55.
I wondered if there are more scores to come in this game. Yes, the | :08:56. | :09:00.
Argentinians are trying to keep it up, to keep the ball open, to create | :09:01. | :09:02.
opportunities. Alun Wyn Jones, head in hands. It | :09:03. | :10:00.
was on, it was on. That was wonderful stuff from Wales. Matias | :10:01. | :10:14.
Diaz is coming on for Argentina, the front row, for Max Bustos. Also, | :10:15. | :10:23.
Ryan Jones coming on for Wales, for Toby Faletau. He has been absolutely | :10:24. | :10:28.
fantastic, Toby Faletau. Argentina are looking very weedy. -- | :10:29. | :11:43.
weary. What about the man of the match today? My man of the match, | :11:44. | :11:49.
Toby Faletau. He has been tremendous. Great informants is from | :11:50. | :11:55.
a lot of people, but it has to be him. Mike Phillips did exceptionally | :11:56. | :12:01.
well, but he has been outstanding, Toby Faletau. -- great performances | :12:02. | :12:13.
from a lot of people. There was just a little leg on Liam | :12:14. | :12:33.
Williams there, which was caught on the big screen. Yes. As he is | :12:34. | :12:54.
getting up, there was a stamp. Yes, forward pass. Yes, I know. Still to | :12:55. | :13:10.
come tonight, Ireland against Australia, that is on BBC Two at 445 | :13:11. | :13:12.
GM. -- 4:45pm. I was about to say that the scrum | :13:13. | :13:58.
seems to have sorted itself out at Mike -- sorted itself out, but look | :13:59. | :14:06.
at that. Great support from the Welsh public once again. | :14:07. | :15:22.
They are forcing them back. Argentina have a penalty. So, back | :15:23. | :15:41.
they come. They will be very, very happy. Yellow card. Samson Lee, ten | :15:42. | :15:57.
minutes in the sin bin on his debut. Into the final minutes. Argentina | :15:58. | :16:01.
attacking against 14 men. Patricio Albacete, he got it away. | :16:02. | :16:23.
But they are heading backwards. They are trying to be too lateral. The | :16:24. | :16:29.
worst offence is too good, they have to go forward. But to give them | :16:30. | :16:34.
credit, they are playing an expansive game because a lot of the | :16:35. | :16:40.
old heads on the front row have got to play a different game. Trying to | :16:41. | :16:46.
sneak through the middle. The last passage of play. And it will go to | :16:47. | :16:53.
Wales. And a chance to score. Numbers this side as well. Still | :16:54. | :16:57.
looking for another try. Scott Williams. He was crowded, there. | :16:58. | :17:13.
He dropped it, it seemed to go backwards. And that will be the end | :17:14. | :17:22.
of things, they're all. -- they are very happy with a very handsome win. | :17:23. | :17:31.
1% of kick and chase is good, they put their all through the hand a | :17:32. | :17:35.
little bit more. And then they were just too strong, they scored as | :17:36. | :17:42.
opportunists. And they will be very happy with Cory Allen. Rhodri Jones | :17:43. | :17:45.
and Rhodri Jones, their performances. And especially that | :17:46. | :17:51.
man. Hopefully, no injuries going into their last games in the autumn. | :17:52. | :17:56.
But a very solid performance and they will be very happy with that | :17:57. | :18:03.
result. Defeat for Argentina and an encouraging win for Wales. Four | :18:04. | :18:05.
tries and 40 points. It has been a long time coming, | :18:06. | :18:17.
their first autumn international victory since 2009. I thought the | :18:18. | :18:23.
second half, they had total dominance, physically. Much more | :18:24. | :18:27.
organised. Wales have been more clinical than last week and they | :18:28. | :18:31.
took their chances, a really impressive performance. I think that | :18:32. | :18:38.
Argentina looked at their feet after 55 minutes. The good thing about | :18:39. | :18:43.
Wales in the second half is they came out and they were pretty | :18:44. | :18:47.
ruthless and clinical. They will be very happy. 12 months ago, Argentina | :18:48. | :18:53.
were victorious year. How have you gone from being comprehensive | :18:54. | :18:57.
winners to losing by 34 points today? Wales played very well. | :18:58. | :19:07.
Credit to the Welsh team. They needed to win desperately. And | :19:08. | :19:12.
Argentina, again, looking to play some good rug they and very | :19:13. | :19:19.
clinical, really good, clinical performance from Wales. Here is a | :19:20. | :19:26.
man who will be known by Justice Christian name, he is George and he | :19:27. | :19:31.
is with Jill. George North, so many positives. How did it feel to be | :19:32. | :19:39.
part of that? It was great, from last week, we had a lot of mistakes | :19:40. | :19:43.
and we tightened up our game and we were more accurate than we were | :19:44. | :19:46.
going forward but from last week it is a massive improvement. It has | :19:47. | :19:51.
been a long time coming to get improvements in these autumn | :19:52. | :19:55.
matches. Yes, it is good and we didn't start the best last week but | :19:56. | :19:59.
this is a massive competition for us and Argentina played very well. But | :20:00. | :20:07.
it is good for us to win. Rob said he was hoping you would get back to | :20:08. | :20:12.
some other form from the summer. Great support in that Mike Phillips | :20:13. | :20:17.
tried and then to steam up the field yourself to score, that was straight | :20:18. | :20:23.
from the training pitch? Yes, it was just generally a better performance, | :20:24. | :20:28.
myself included. The team played in the right areas and to our strengths | :20:29. | :20:31.
and they were more accurate. Congratulations. George North was an | :20:32. | :20:38.
obvious contender for Man of the Match but Toby Faletau got that. We | :20:39. | :20:45.
will hear from him. The thing is, we can see this try. What is the ideal | :20:46. | :20:50.
combination in the back row? I wanted to watch Toby Faletau. | :20:51. | :20:55.
Positive support. They can easily follow the ball. I used to make a | :20:56. | :21:02.
living from this! 20 metres from his run and he anticipated that Drake | :21:03. | :21:06.
and he is on the inside shoulder. Fantastic run. That is one thing | :21:07. | :21:12.
that Wales did not do as well last week. We have not flooded the line | :21:13. | :21:21.
and run without support line. To have the vision to see him and the | :21:22. | :21:25.
accuracy to find him. Toby Faletau getting Man of the Match. Wales have | :21:26. | :21:30.
got three from four in the background. And Ryan Jones came on | :21:31. | :21:36.
and he always makes a very big impact. Selection headache over the | :21:37. | :21:43.
next couple of weeks. It is all about Australia. And Sam is where he | :21:44. | :21:50.
is. It will be uninteresting selection. Sam Warburton is | :21:51. | :22:03.
delighted to have woken the record. He was going to be the captain of | :22:04. | :22:06.
Wales for eight consecutive defeats. We can forget that. Letters talk | :22:07. | :22:14.
about the final Welsh drive. There is one area of the game that we do | :22:15. | :22:17.
not go into in much detail. Tell us about this. Ken Owens will get the | :22:18. | :22:23.
plaudits for this, his name will be in the paper. Number 16. The boys in | :22:24. | :22:30.
front, particularly Alan win, we can see him. It is so easy for him, he | :22:31. | :22:36.
keeps grabbing players, probably too high, technically. He is dragging | :22:37. | :22:42.
bodies with him. Luke Charteris is also doing a great job. Those voice | :22:43. | :22:47.
in front, very unusual to have a driving line like that. -- boys. His | :22:48. | :22:56.
parents stay in the same hotel as us every single match. They will be the | :22:57. | :23:02.
happiest people in the entire stadium after that, his first try. | :23:03. | :23:08.
We have seen Argentina teams doing that to other teams around the | :23:09. | :23:13.
world. In an attempt to improve the Argentinian game and tried to throw | :23:14. | :23:19.
the ball around, is perhaps the traditional strength of the game, in | :23:20. | :23:24.
the pack, being diminished? There are big challenges in this and we | :23:25. | :23:29.
have learned playing against the southern hemisphere that you need to | :23:30. | :23:33.
score tries and you have to try things, challenge yourself, play | :23:34. | :23:40.
rugby that we are not used to. To be more clinical and tactical. And this | :23:41. | :23:44.
team is experiencing this, this is change. We like to see this but we | :23:45. | :23:50.
cannot lose the fundamentals of every scrum. But again, we want to | :23:51. | :24:01.
improve and we have to construct a better team for 2015 and the future | :24:02. | :24:06.
of Argentinian rugby. That is the challenge. We need to expand our | :24:07. | :24:12.
game and throw the ball around. To work clinically and tactically well | :24:13. | :24:19.
and to come here and beat Wales. To go into play South Africa and New | :24:20. | :24:22.
Zealand every year and make a good Championship. I never understand | :24:23. | :24:28.
Argentina and Italy, two countries where football is ingrained into the | :24:29. | :24:33.
mentality of the people and yet these countries have struggled for | :24:34. | :24:38.
years and years to have a Number ten who can run the game, who has got | :24:39. | :24:44.
the technical skills rugby wise but also the feet, that would be natural | :24:45. | :24:48.
as an Argentinian or Italian. Why do you not have a Number ten who | :24:49. | :24:54.
candidate matches? Because we are challenging the way that Argentine | :24:55. | :25:00.
rugby has been and would want to be. It has to do with number nine and | :25:01. | :25:06.
number ten. For the last 20 years, we depended a lot between number | :25:07. | :25:13.
nine and those big/ the game has changed, you have to attack more and | :25:14. | :25:20.
we will see that choice with number ten and number 12 and about running | :25:21. | :25:26.
the game. It is very important and we need to work on that. We need to | :25:27. | :25:31.
work on the Number tens coming through and they have to learn how | :25:32. | :25:36.
to play Alan 's rugby. Who plays Number ten for Wales in an ideal | :25:37. | :25:41.
world? James Hook? James Hook will start against Tonga. That is the | :25:42. | :25:48.
word. On that performance, Dan Biggar has won a shout for the | :25:49. | :25:52.
Australia game. Even under his own posts, he had the vision to run for | :25:53. | :26:05.
those 80 outbreaks. You feel for Rhys but Dan Biggar has one that | :26:06. | :26:16.
today. Who do you want? Bisley, Dan Biggar has played very well and has | :26:17. | :26:20.
made some very good decisions. He has kicked whenever the team needed | :26:21. | :26:25.
territory. -- basically. As Martin said, Rhys played in the tougher | :26:26. | :26:32.
matches last week and the coaches will make the right choice. | :26:33. | :26:36.
Ultimately, it is a great position to be in. He is a better politician! | :26:37. | :26:43.
In terms of next week, next Friday, live on BBC Two, the match against | :26:44. | :26:50.
Tonga, do you keep the same team as much as you can to get that | :26:51. | :26:52.
continuity and the understanding or do you change wholesale because it | :26:53. | :26:58.
gives people a game? When we change wholesale become unstuck. When | :26:59. | :27:06.
injuries permit, I try to keep at least ten or 11 of that starting 15. | :27:07. | :27:13.
We have been caught out before. We come off the back of the Alliance. | :27:14. | :27:18.
Off the back of a lot of rugby. Whether we see Warren taking the | :27:19. | :27:23.
option to rest players and freshen them up and give them some | :27:24. | :27:26.
conditioning and get bodies right for Australia, because that will be | :27:27. | :27:31.
a massive game. You can see Australia in a few moments, playing | :27:32. | :27:36.
Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Ireland and that is live with us on | :27:37. | :27:41.
BBC Two. 4:35pm. And England against UserLand, you will want to see that. | :27:42. | :27:47.
Highlights on BBC Three tonight. Thank you. They are happy. Not much | :27:48. | :27:59.
we can say? No! You can watch widely with your pink shoes through the | :28:00. | :28:01.
streets of Cardiff! Thank you for having me. Pleasure to be in Wales, | :28:02. | :28:07.
I love this country and I have played with some great players and I | :28:08. | :28:11.
will probably see them tonight. And I will cheer up. But thank you for | :28:12. | :28:16.
having me. Thank you. That is it from us. A lot of people will head | :28:17. | :28:22.
down the road to watch Gareth Bale. We are heading to Scotland for | :28:23. | :28:24.
Scotland against the Springboks tomorrow. We will see you then. | :28:25. | :28:25.
Goodbye. | :28:26. | :28:38. |
