and challenging time for all the PRO12 sides, because they are taken

away from all their star players. The autumn campaign, Glasgow are

fully loaded. The Ospreys comparatively weaker, that must make

Glasgow the favourites? Absolutely, when you got the likes of the

international players and talent in that side, you have got the grind of

this type of competition, may have to go in as favourites and I am

looking forward to see some of their talent laboured equally looking

forward to the young players getting an opportunity for the Ospreys

because the Welsh players being rested. I remember as a young

player, when I was in that situation, particularly when you are

going up against a full strength side, you will issue the chance to

compete against world-class players. Thank you, Justin. You mentioned

Sean Holley, he is in our analysis truck with a sporting beard. One of

the players is making his PRO12 first start. Two Sams who we may not

know much about. Sam Davies at ten tonight, which means the selector

might want a bit more of someone in the Matthew Morgan mould. First

PRO12 starts with a consummate kicker, one of the most talented

kicker is that I have worked with, his control of big aim is mature and

a bit of a throwback to his father, Nigel Davies but it is his vision

that really impresses me, heads up, scanning the defence and dropping

the ball onto his right foot into space for his wing to score. Sam

Lewis is somebody on Warren Gatland's radar, I can tell you.

Watch this, kids at home. Great long ball presentation. He likes to offer

himself and carry the ball in open play but the nuts and bolts of his

game are really tidy. It is in defence over the ball but he is

really strong. Getting beyond the ball, he has a low centre of mass

which allows him to get underneath the opposition and when the

turnovers which is really important. They will have a big impact on

tonight's game. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing both of those

tonight. The team is almost ready to come out. Dennis Davis is on the

Welsh language commentary. A man who knows exactly what it is like to

pretty much perfect conditions and we have got two teams who probably

finish, very timely for them. I agree with Justin Marshall, it is

the time of year where people can put on the jersey to see what they

can do. So let's hope the young Ospreys team is up for it this

evening. Duncan Jones takes over the

captaincy as he has done for his country, Aaron Jarvis has been with

the Welsh squad as has James King and he has been released as well.

The Canadian got himself on the scoresheet last week. Tyler Ardron.

Sam Davies gets a first outing at ten, it'll be interesting to see how

goes. And the knock-on effect is that the Ospreys wench in

particular, with a lot of unfamiliar names.

charge. Sam Davies immediately gets it away

from the bulk of the forwards. And immediately, the Ospreys will be

Good quick recycling by Glasgow in the opening stages. Tommy Seymour is

making a name for himself in the international scene as well, here's

another one. Well, the Ospreys giving penalties

away in this first attacking phase to Glasgow and it is just about

knocking it out of the way quick in. All these tactics of slowing the

ball down and employed these days, referees are getting sharper with

it. Watch the corresponding fixtures could together last year at the back

end of last season and very impressed with the rugby played by

Glasgow, they are very capable side these days.

That looks pretty good. And indeed it is from Ruaridh Jackson. And

Glasgow get the first points of the evening.

A poor decision from him. It was a lazy kick. Tyler Ardron getting in

there, keeping the ball in the air. A nice, cool take by Stuart Hogg. It

is not often you see an up and under that deep in an opposition's R. When

you think how hard it is to break opposition's defences, it could be a

trite time here. A very solid take from the Lions fullback. Not enough

pressure on the kick, though. They are trying to generate some

atmosphere and what is a pretty soulless cauldron at the moment.

Chris Cusiter, 64 caps for Scotland. But the problem lies in to

international front rows. I hope it will not be one of those nights.

A kick from Fussell just about makes it, but taken, as Glasgow looks to

keep the pressure on. That was very well played by Sam Lewis. Making the

tackle, gets up, but he does not have to go round and come in the

gate, he can come from the attacking side. And he did it very well.

Let's have a chat down on the punch line -- touchline. How difficult is

it for the Glasgow big guns coming off an autumn series to do this

tonight? A bit of adjustment, game plan is

slightly different, but in the opening exchanges here, Glasgow have

started quickly, looking good, good rhythm, passing well, they have not

suffered any ill effects, like they have been doing it all year. And the

chants for the... -- and the chants for the youngsters in the Ospreys to

do well? They meant to add the team play of the game, a couple of kicks

they could have gone in quickly with. What they want to do is use

their mobility, already with a couple of turnovers. If they can

make the game a little less predictable for Glasgow, anything

can happen, with that youth and talent, raw and untried, but

exuberant. Fancy it? No way. I am glad to be retired. Coming out in a

rash just this close to the touchline.

You look at the physicality of the game these days, the hits going in

early on. He was put on his backside with that one. And if someone shows

you their rents, that is a lovely pet is that Lloyd Peers enjoying the

moment. -- someone shows you their ribs, that is a lovely hit.

We enjoyed it the first time at a slower pace, now in slow motion.

Your eyes and of the tackle, you know it is coming, nothing you can

do. He was just concentrating on the ball, making sure it took the pass,

then all of a sudden. Bang! You took the words out of my

mouth. That was good. It did go forward

from Sam Lewis, even though Tebaldi was there to recover.

It is only on a few occasions the Ospreys have been dining Glasgow

territory. The set piece ball has been pretty poor, not allowing them

the platform to work from. They are not going to win this game if the

line-up continues, that is for sure. And the control we expect they are

from Sam Davies, the cultured left foot. That was a very good gig, you

can see what he was trying to achieve, decision made, excellent

execution. Woman is already in this game where there have been lazy

kicks, people running out of ideas, putting boot to ball just for the

sake of it, something Wales should be mindful of tomorrow. If you are

kicking, there has to be a reason. Aaron Jarvis just getting some

treatment at the moment. It will be interesting tomorrow. Australia

building slowly, after the disappointment at Twickenham. People

like Wade Cooper back on form, and they have others back. They have

certainly got some confidence. Glasgow just looking for one or two

more carries, just to give either one of the halfbacks are little more

time to get a little more time to get clearance. And a great catch by

Tom Seymour. Just talking about the kicking game, that was perfect. Very

well-placed kicks. Gave his winger a chance, an early jump, very well

retrieved. Born in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jeff Hassler motor burned and completed superb approach work by

Tom Isaacs. Superbly finished! Bones lay -- bouncing ball initially. No

wonder they are shaking hands. He went for a gap, drawing the

fullback, putting your winger in, that is textbook stuff. Very well

finished. I mean that from the point of view of Isaacs, rather than

Hassler, who had the run in. Third try in the league for Jeff Hassler.

An excellent conversion from wide out by Sam Davies. And the Ospreys

taking the only opportunity that has come their way. Constantly sees the

numbers, takes the outside lane, running hard, comes in high, put

your winger in, very well played. Davis was playing the corners, are

very well directed kick. -- Davies was playing the corners. And not a

bad reward therefore the Ospreys. A very nice kick initially from

Davies. No chance for Aaron Jarvis

initially. James King was waiting there for

Lloyd Peers, but taken on by Sam Davies. Isaacs again showing good

strength. Great anger from Sam Lewis as well, kept alive by Fussell. It

was all getting a bit cramped and crowded. Yeah, unfortunately, Isaacs

tries to cut a line, makes the yardage, an opportunity for quick

ball, but no sheep, no structure behind. Tebaldi looking weird old

open space is, but no biplane, having to come back to the big eyes.

But Isaacs giving them a target, doing well. Former scrum-half,

converted to centre, Tom Isaacs. Was the referee blowing his whistle

really loudly, or was it just... ? LAUGHTER. Is it maybe just the sound

levels? It is the sound levels, and it will clear some wax

levels? It is the sound levels, and not think of getting a little

moustache, did you? Not this year, maybe next year. It

would suit you. Those were the days. And a very well delivered ball there

by Gray. Did the Ospreys turn it over? Not

quite. It will be a penalty. A change of direction from Stuart

Hogg. A long advantage being played in

Glasgow's favour. Jackson wants to use the blindside again. An

infringement there by Tebaldi. He has not come back to where the

infringement was, I do not think. It is an easier kick there. It is a

cheap one, isn't it? They should not be giving points away like that.

Cusiter rules are back with his hand. -- rolls it back. I think

referees tend to think, come on, give the scrum-half chants. -- a

chance. The fact that the scrum-half's hands on the ball, has

not mean it is out. But when it is rollback, for me, just play on. Do

not hang onto it. One of those areas where there is not the clarity

required, really. A comfortable strike from Ruaridh

Jackson, Glasgow back within a point.

A change of direction, but didn't get very far, Jackson. Ardron did

very well there. There was space there, a nice

turnover ball and he gains territory but Glasgow are showing a bit of

ambition and paying a price, stripped. The scrum-half, Tebaldi,

did the initial ripping. They want to go for a drive from

here. Scott Baldwin is in charge. Drop goal, I think. Sam Davies is in

position. A sensible thing to do and that is very coolly and very

correctly done by Sam Davies. Not just the job goal that might drop

goal but the marshalling their, they did not have shaped behind, no

momentum so they send people up to act as blockers, drop back and a

very sweet drop goal. Only a couple of times that Ospreys

have been down in Glasgow territory and they come away with points each

time. Seymour has proved to be a handful

in the early stages, a former Ulster winger.

The Ospreys pushing up again quickly in midfield. Stuart Hogg comes

late... I think that is a poor decision, I think Sam Davies gets

himself into a bit of a defensive mess there.

It would be nice to have a look at that one. I have a gut feeling, the

gut feeling is harsh on the Glasgow attackers.

Phil, where are you? I am with the Ospreys back coach. The midfield

triangle with Sam Davies of the two centres, how pleasing is that? We

have asked for that physicality and we are certainly getting that and

Sam Davies is putting us in the right areas after a jittery start so

pleasing so far. Tom Isaacs has had three clear line breaks, but we have

not seen much of him this season. He is here to do a job tonight. Is the

coach, when you have been down in territory, you have made it pay.

That has been one of the focus points, to get into the 22 without

forcing pressure but we are taking some points at the moment. Well

done. I don't think he even needed to pass

there. I was thinking how crisp and accurate the Glasgow passing was and

then he threw a monster. Nice pass, brings him on to pace but he does

not return the compliment. That is into the second row of the stand!

Canadian against Canadian and I think he had the legs on Tyler

Ardron, he didn't quite realise it. A little bit overcomplicated. It was

missed time, I think. There is a point at which Hassler is running up

the line, things, I'm not having that, and passed him. A preplanned

move but it is not happening. They had to go for something off the

cuff, there. REFEREE: I want you working hard on

your bind. On the far side between Ryan Grant and Aaron Jarvis. The

problems that seem to be stemming. He had a great view of that,

straight down the tunnel. Come on, let's get some pace going.

Oh, dear. That makes such a difference.

Not the greatest bout of kicking ever. No.

Great adjustment by Stuart Hogg! Shame about the end result. He did

well, actually. There is a sense that he mess this up a bit but he

did very well. Until... Yes, a bit of a slice.

Not looking like much of a Lions ten with that one.

There is a penalty coming. This should be three easy points for Sam

Davies. This should keep the Ospreys

scoreboard ticking over. You do sometimes wonder how players are

supposed to get out of that tangled mess in the bottom of a ruck. 20 in

March, Jonny Gray. He joined his brother Richie Gray in Scotland

colours this year. A good strike and the Ospreys will

be happy to take every point they can and try to take the game away

from Glasgow, as they are doing at the moment.

Mr Laudrup, are you watching? Not quite sure how many Rick O'Shea's,

and who off. It all happened so quickly.

I think there was a bit of ten John in that as well, a glancing blow. --

Ben John. I am not sure what Mr Laudrup would

appreciate more, the volley or the glancing header. They are both in

with a shout, the way it was played last night.

That has gone against the guy who has just come on, Graham Knoop

replacing Lloyd Peers. Plays rugby for Bridgend. I think he comes from

Cape Town, think I am right in saying.

Stolen by James King. And he had not gone back, as told.

Again, great determined running from Tom Isaacs, certainly putting his

hand up this evening. Sam Davies is finding some nice

positions, possibly overdoing that a little bit. Especially with a return

kick like that. It is a cultured left foot, no doubt

about that. Just need to know when to use it and when to pass. Return

kick is the better one. Just a couple of minutes of the

first half remaining. Isaacs certainly the most dynamic of

the Ospreys pairs. It looked like a good set, Graham

Knoop penalised year. -- penalised here. Watch the body angles of

people, all coming into contact with players on the floor, his knees went

on the floor, shoulders on the tackle player, but every ruck could

get a whistle for that if you want it. Last chance for Glasgow in the

first half. And that has gone. In fairness to the Ospreys, you made

the point earlier, Glasgow have looked the better side for a lot of

the half with passing movements. Every time the Ospreys have gone

into the Glasgow have, they have turned that scoreboard over. --

Glasgow half. You would assume that the Ospreys

would be happy enough just to get the ball off the park and settle

down in the changing room. I could strive -- a good drive from Glasgow,

but no time to capitalise, because that is the end of the first 40. And

it started brightly for Glasgow, but the Ospreys got better, leading

13-6. Phil? How pleasing was that, particularly

from the youngsters? We are clinging in, a tough battle, could go either

way. Sam is controlling well, part of the team. Have a good one.

It was a cold night, but plenty of facial here to protect the players

from the elements. The visitors arrived highly fancied after their

Scottish internationals. They kicked off with a lead through Ruaridh

Jackson. But great work from Tom Isaacs. Ruaridh Jackson kept the

visitors in touch with another penalty to get them within one. But

Sam Davies kept the Ospreys first, first drop goal, then another

penalty to bring them into a 13-6/2-time lead at the Liberty

Stadium. -- 13-6 half time lead. Possession is almost exactly even

Stephen. Just one incursion into Glasgow's 22. The tackles missed,

just four for Glasgow, Duncan Jones making the point that they were

clinging on. Justin, we spoke at the start how Glasgow were overwhelming

favourites, despite being visitors, because of the Scottish

internationals. But the half-time lead, the Ospreys will be delighted?

Absolutely delighted, particularly with Glasgow looking threatening.

Ospreys, through Sam Davies, they have highlighted the kicking game.

Davies was finding the field, making the ball bounce, and they won the

territory better, ruthless taking their points, excellent for a young

team to be down under half, limited time, but taking their chances, they

will be more than delighted, because Glasgow look good with ball in hand,

but their defence is problematic. Glasgow looked good with ball in

hand, very fluid in early stages, but the Ospreys took that try

extremely well. The dead, a lot of tries from turnover in the first

second phase, which is where the Ospreys capitalised. -- they did.

You see it goes over the top of Glasgow. And a lot of the Glasgow

attack is congested, so that if Tebaldi gets it away quickly, they

are all in that half of the field, just needing to find the edge of the

defence. For youngsters at home, this is great, getting the wind,

then it is easy for Hassler as the winger to run that in. Very timely.

We talked about Tom Isaacs, not having much of a look in this

season. Andrew Bishop was the first choice pairing, but Tom Isaacs has

shown some real fire in his belly. Hour he has. -- he has. What he did

there is what was highlighted. When he got an opportunity, it can be

easy to be insular, take the easy option. But it was the timing of his

past, with two Glasgow players around, he brought the player then,

which set Hassler away. It is the old Dutch as he has had, using his

footwork, getting over the advantage line. -- it is the fit touch work he

has had. He can kick on the move rather than statically. And there

two Sams, Sam Lewis and Sam Davies, following them closely, what have

you find out? Sam Davies with some control, Sam Lewis, his older

brother Ben had to finish because of injury, both doing very well. With

Sam Lewis, we said at the start, his hold of the ball was good, but great

chop tackles, seven in the first half. We can see him combining with

red-22-macro, getting on his feet and winning the turnover. --

combining with Ardron. Sam Davies has been intelligently controlling

the game, a very kicking game, carrying the ball more than any

other Osprey player. Right from the start of the game, this first

restart, great hand time and height are loving the front that right from

the start. A good kick, but not a very good chase from Ben John. That

puts Ospreys on the front foot, winning the territory battle. If he

takes these sorts of things, it keeps the scoreboard ticking over, a

good first half from Sam Davies. Is the IRB Young Player of the Year. A

very different kind of fly half. The difficult guy to pin down. Sam

Lewis. Sam Davies, what have you made of? Gill macro outstanding, for

a young player... -- outstanding, for a young player. The ball was

static, but he got back in the pocket, decided they needed to go

again. He was calm enough, accurately making the kick, so

looking at what he is doing is very good. A real talent, I have been

impressed. And Nigel Davies is his father, former Wales international

and Gloucester head coach now. And Justin's successor in the number

nine jersey, teetotal Baldi, perhaps going off the ball recently? -- Tito

Tebaldi. Hour when he gets involved in new Ospreys system, he needs to

have a very specific role. But some chinks in the armour. You see some

splits defence. They should adopt a marker, a sweeper in the backfield,

but Fussell should be sweeping behind but any chinks in that area.

-- but Tebaldi should be sweeping behind. That was an easy three

points. There are good beaver blindside wing tackling. -- there

could be the blindside wing tackling. But he could make a

tackle, bouncing off, and Glasgow get the ball forward. He then joined

in a ruck when he did not need to, coming through when he had no right

to. He would only commit there if you really felt he could win the

ball or slow it up, though pure play. I'd

he has nothing but good things to say about you? Very continental,

which I do appreciate. -- very complimentary. What happens in that

good position, you can direct. You can fish defenders into that

position. I do not know if his English is good enough. You want to

stay where you are so you can sweep and see what is happening from the

old fence. But use other players and push them into the Spence. But

instead he seems to want to go for the confrontation. But you then have

to make the tackles, which he is not doing, compounding the problem. And

the second half on its way. I'm not long before Wales against Joe you.

Six Nations, for the autumns. How is it now? Still pretty early days. I

have another six or seven days. I had some injections over the last

couple of days, which will hope the Laceby. Recovery. -- which will

hopefully speed up recovery. It was one of the happiest moments I've my

career to get chosen, then one of the lowest. But I have to crack on

and try to get back on as soon as possible. But you have time on your

side, what are your hopes for the future? What about tonight, some of

the young guys doing very well. When the game opens up a bit, I think

they will surprise a few guys. Is big for everybody on Scrum V and for

all our viewers when we say we hope you up back on the Welsh side very

Chris Cusiter did well to get himself away from those big men. The

supporting players are again the ones picked out a Dudley Phillips.

sort of contact, always worth a look if you can keep the ball alive. And

a penalty as we saw off the feet. His first outing in the RaboDirect

league, Sam Davies. And he is showing himself very well indeed.

That was not a bad looking kick. A very good recovery. Not a good pass.

That was an excellent kick. He looks up, sees the space and makes it very

well. Ben John coming on a very good angle here. They sometimes look

worse because the person passing falls off it.

There are a lot of left footed players out there. We have seen

plenty of good kicks from them but that was not that one. A bit of a

Mulan Rouge moustache. Ospreys have started off the second

half with a purpose. Good, efficient recycling, the ball nicely laid out.

The crowd are frustrated with Tebaldi. He needed to get that one

going. Id just slides wide. And over

snatched attempt. That was poor from the Ospreys. You can understand,

slow ball, a bit forced. They end up in this position with a snap drop

goal because Tebaldi was laboured in the rucks beforehand.

World player of the year at under 21 level.

A bit of luck for Sam Davies, straight into his hands from that

kick. But is a shocking kick. It might

have the advantage of the knock-on. I was watching that. He had not

looked up to see where anyone was and then straight down the throat of

the fullback of this deciding -- after deciding to go for the kick.

The crowd are getting excited. Unfortunately, just a little fumble

forward. It was a lovely pass from Jeff Hassler. Time enough to really

come on to it at pace. Running hard, Hanno Dirksen, we know he can do it.

The knock-on does not come from him, the referee allows the first on that

on the second one on the pick-up, there it is.

The referee having a word with the scrums but the last couple,

certainly Glasgow looking to have a squeeze on in the last one.

Again, it is Glasgow going forward with the scrum.

The game is just so stop -start, there is nothing really getting

going. Even to the extent of even though Rob Harley got the ball back,

have straight is this? It was certainly of centre but not that

bad. -- off centre. The way it is going, you wouldn't think that the

crowd would mind it being Glasgow possession, just as long as it was a

bit of Rod B. -- a bit of rugby. REFEREE: Lets get your feet up on

tackle, but Dirksen screaming at the refs, I need to be allied to be play

A raft of changes by Glasgow, Alan Jarvis has departed from the Ospreys

front row. James King, crashed into the Glasgow

midfield. The Ospreys having a glut of ball in

the second half. Running harder as well. Close to the action again, Sam

Davies. Dirksen looking for even more work,

and more contact. Again, fends off his man so easily,

putting Ospreys in a great position. Slightly isolated! It was a good

position. Strauss wanted to get the wraparound tackle, just to slow

things down. Morgan Allan just about controlling things. Tebaldi had a go

as well. Ever closer to that Glasgow try-line. A bit more with behind --

more width behind. It is all in vain.

The Ospreys have paid the ultimate price for keeping the ball to type,

losing possession, as Glasgow go all the way down and Chris Cusiter gets

the dry. -- gets the try. Great from Glasgow, very poor from the Ospreys,

if you get isolated, you are finished, he gets the toff. -- he

gets fixed off. That said and the arm, backs and self, then the

one-handed like, he is fortunate it was Cusiter, a very PC run on the

outside to run it in. Very well taken try, good shadowing the ball

as well by Lamont, and Ben John would not get anywhere near him.

Good finishing by Glasgow and the Ospreys will be kicking themselves

for losing possession more or less on Glasgow's try-line.

It just drifts across the face, but Glasgow back in it now. Well, it has

been the Ospreys' half, but despite all that position, not only did the

come away empty-handed, but they had to watch as Glasgow clinically

finished. A great try from Cusiter's point of view, terrible

for the Ospreys' point of view. A bad leg injury there. Have to"

because they are heading back in the direction of Lamont. -- have to be

careful. The medics doing their best to protect Lamont, but no option but

for the referee to call a halt to play.

That has rejuvenated the Glasgow team. It had hardly had their hands

on the ball in the second half. And we know they can play rugby. All of

a sudden, they have gone up a gear. But Lamont got caught, focusing on

the tackle, just getting an Osprey across the lower leg as he turns. It

has gone underneath him. Ouch! James King got a tackle in, and his right

ankle gets trapped underneath there. Yeah. As a rugby player,

subconsciously, putting yourself in the right position when you take a

tackle, you know how to fall. Sometimes, you do not have the time

or opportunity to get it right. Desperately bad luck for Shaun

Lunt. -- desperately bad luck for Sean Lamont. And on an international

weekend, Australia to come tomorrow. Highlights over the weekend. Glasgow

put to the sword early on by Jeff Hassler, after Tom Isaacs' great

work in midfield, then Lamont, from inside his 22, sets up Chris Cusiter

beautifully and Cusiter had the pace to take it all the way home.

Unfortunately, for Glasgow, it is the try creator who will be

departing on the stretcher. I just want to show the viewers

something from the last try, a great nation by Cusiter, but what Sean

Lamont does, the injured player, a great break from a turnover. Running

with the ball, if we stop it... He has of loaded it to Chris Cusiter,

but he does not give up on his part, running out the defender. He

is perfectly entitled to run the line Ben John has, he cuts off, and

great off the ball play by Sean Lamont.

Dragons last week. One appearance of the bench last reason. Scottish

under 20 international. -- Finn Russell is on in the place of

Lamont. Any more scrums and there will be cards following.

Certainly, a drive coming through the from Glasgow. The Ospreys pretty

much imploding. Not an easy kick this one, though. It is Stuart Hogg

who is taking over the kicking duties from distance.

A good strike. That is a fine kick from Stuart Hogg. Now Glasgow are

back within a kick, in the final quarter of the game. What do you

think the Ospreys should be doing now? Glasgow have started like the

Ospreys did. With limited amount of the ball, they are striking, so the

Ospreys need to play the territory game, but now not taking the

opportunities. We had a chance for turnover that resulted in a try.

Glasgow need to play at the end of the field where the ball is, put

pressure on and get three back. And rely more on the boot of Sam

Davies. Get good positions. First of all, get the ball.

Glasgow players claiming Fussell was outside. His boot was on the line

says the referee. Newly ran out the 22, got a good kick away in the end.

Certainly inside. It is game on now. 15 minutes

remaining. Any points will do for Glasgow to get them ahead. Tom Ryder

wins the line-up ball. Can anybody get up in support? He

has run away from the rest of the Ospreys. Now they slowly arrive and

Tebaldi slips in doing so and again, what was such a promising

position comes to nothing. Morgan Allen does very well because

he is running away and there is nobody with him. The option he has

is to stop and start running backwards but no, he looked both

ways and has to ride the tackle. Presents it very well. A one-man

ruck. The feet go and the chance goes with it. He ran hard. He has

carried his shell tonight, has Morgan Allen.

He just drops the shoulder into the tackle and bounces in well. He knows

he is on his own. Considering two thirds of the game

has been played in Glasgow territory, they will be relatively

pleased with that scoreline. Especially since the Ospreys have a

solitary penalty in the second half. Connacht have gone ahead in

Edinburgh. Along with a Dan Parks penalty.

That scrum is looking pretty ominous again.

They can smell blood in that scrum, can't they? Scott Baldwin, the

hooker is going. Dougie Hall is coming on. An experienced

campaigner, 33 years old. Abe Egger hooker than Pat MacArthur -- a

larger hooker. That has taken its toll on the Ospreys scrum.

Glasgow get the nudge on, it is all about what happens in those front

rows there. I think that is actually... A bit

harsh. They are going backwards but they are forced up as well. Jon

Welsh, over 19 stone on the tight head.

That is James Eddie who has just come on to the field.

Glasgow playing like they did at the start of the game at the moment.

Now it is the Ospreys' turn to put in the tackles.

This is excellent control of the ball by Glasgow.

Plenty of runners there. Almost up to the try-line.

And Van Der Merwe snuck in at the post. That is a cheeky one. Hardly

any of the field to play with. He sees a chink of light around the

narrowest of blind size. He seems confident he scored. Dudley Phillips

thinks it is a tried and less pictures show otherwise. -- it is a

try. Where does that all end up's --

where does that ball end up? That is a try, that will do nicely. Just

about the grounding. You can see that Fussell was trying to force a

possible knock-on that that is very controlled in the end.

That is a good finish from Van Der Merwe and an important one as well

because Glasgow will go back ahead. You may award the try. Ospreys

guilty of not posting someone on the blindside, no matter how little

space there is, they have to guard it. They were in trouble here. Good

numbers with Glasgow. And a good attacking phase of play.

Well finished. A terrific build up by Glasgow. They were so patient and

showed such control, went through the phases, did not panic and

eventually, by the smallest of margins, DTH Van Der Merwe snuck in

the corner and that is a superb conversion by Ruaridh Jackson and

now the Ospreys have it all to gain. -- have it all to do again.

Justin mentioned the portents of that length of the field score --

mentioned the importance. They have really surrendered the

initiative. Fresh legs for the Ospreys, Marc Thomas and Rhys Webb,

Rhys Webb wearing number 21. Turnover? No, not allowed. It has

gone against Jon Welsh. It is that low trajectory from Sam

Davies which does not find its mark. A big disappointment for the Ospreys

after getting the penalty, they did not get themselves downfield and the

gap has opened up for Seymour. Battling at the breakdown by Sam

Lewis forces the knock-on that with a man off the field, they needed

territory there. Under pressure again.

A clear break, one man to beat. He fell over himself.

Almost halfway or just over halfway through his sin-bin experience,

Scott Baldwin. The Dragons get a try at Rodney

Parade, scored by Matthew out on the wing. And with Keith earls in the

bin, they lead by 11-9. Very tight there. Paul O'Connell

running around in the background there as well. How those Irish guys

get up for a game like that after what they did last week, dear me.

No wonder there is pressure on that Ospreys scrum. They are one man

short. The game in the second half is

turned on this phase of play. Yes, it has. Van Der Merwe running off

his wing. The big fellas are doing plenty of work. They have got the

Ospreys on the back foot and man down as well.

Two second-half tries for Glasgow, a great scrum as well.

REFEREE: Both players have popped. Wondering why they were called to a

halt when they were going forward at a rate of knots. The tight head

there on the Glasgow side has come up as well. Just because they are

going forward does not mean they cannot be called up for a penalty as

well. On balance, Glasgow will not mind.

They are the ones in the driving seat. Ospreys are having to do the

chasing to win this for the second time. Only eight minutes remaining.

And again he has popped up. That looked like Jon Welsh popping up.

You can hear the crowd as well, they have seen it and they are

frustrated. On that occasion, it was only one. There he is. Clear as day.

A word for both captains because he is not happy with the scrums. What a

chance for us to go back to the studio and have the Blues of Justin

Marshall again. I just wanted to talk about the control back nine and

ten for Glasgow have started to have in the second half really, pushing

the forwards around in the right position for the Chris Cusiter and

Jackson, started to become prominent with Cusiter getting his forwards

running on and the Glasgow bench has added a real impact to this game.

The players they have put on have contributed. Cusiter got the try but

it is the small things he got at the breakdowns, combining with Jackson

getting Glasgow in behind the Ospreys. These two have really

stepped up. Just for a change, he does not pop

up, John Wells goes down and the penalty goes to the Ospreys scrum

with an extra ten metres added on. We get a better view of it here. He

has gone down. A good kick from Sam Davies. This is

the position that the Ospreys need. Scott Aldrin has busted a gut to

come onto the field but it is Matthew Baldwin who will be the

first change so Baldwin and Knoop, and the full complement of 15 now

for the Ospreys. Looking for the try that will bring them level, or

become bloated try that could sneak it. A very poorly delivered

line-out. Rhys Webb has done well to stay in play but now he has lost the

ball. Those are the areas you must get

right. What do they need to do in the closing stages, Sean Holley? It

is a little bit too Little too late, somebody needs to break the line,

get the Ospreys on the front foot. You have got layers on the bench, is

it too little, too late? They need to get a converted try so wherever

they score in becomes an issue but I feel that Matthew Morgan could have

been an ten minutes ago. At the moment, he is way back in his own

half. It is a defensive role he is playing at the moment. Precious

seconds taken away from the Ospreys. Repeated issues with the scrum.

Whose interest is that in? Glasgow the away side, a 5-point game. Much

happier to see this clock going away from them.

Another penalty for Munster has edged them ahead 12-11 at Rodney

Parade. The Ospreys desperate now to get their hands on the ball. Cusiter

calling the shots, leaving it to Dougie Hall and the forwards to do

it initially. Hogg is the one to clear the decks.

And a very good kick. His kicking out of hand tonight has been

excellent. Yeah, battling half of possession.

Back down to fill. Bridgend 19, Swansea 13. Aberavon trailing 1116.

Cross Keys running away with it, 35-3 leading Cardiff Newport are now

19-15 up at Newport. And top of the table, the derby matches tomorrow at

Carmarthen Park, LA kick-off. Against 43. Sean Lamont has an ankle

injury, they are deciding whether to take him for an x-ray. And he was

very popular for the Scarlets. It looks good for the Ospreys when

Tom Isaacs put Jeff Hassler in the clear. But then, Sean Lamont, who

may be on his way to hospital, and a great finish by Chris Cusiter, and

the Ospreys kicking themselves all the way from their opposition

try-line, then dragging themselves to injury. Speaking in for that

all-important try. Ryan Grant making his way off the field. A good inside

ball from Jeff Hassler. The Ospreys tried to step it up in the closing

stages, going in search of this drive. The converted try to win.

Glasgow would think of the break-out. Making good headway, but

lost it back. Back in Glasgow hands, and again the boot of Stuart

Hogg, pushing the Ospreys back, and a superb kick, quickly taken by

Matthew Morgan. Not allowed to get away with it, though. Five metres,

it must be, because he took it from behind. Glasgow throw in, so what

gone wrong here? He is judged to have taken it in. A brilliant kick

from Hogg. That should be enough to see Glasgow home. A drop goal ten

minutes from time. Dougie Hall will take as much time

as he possibly can. Jonny Gray with the take. Glasgow

will just want to tie it up surely as long as they can.

Within five metres, the try is not important anyway, but Glasgow would

welcome it. Tommy Seymour within a metre of the try-line. Cusiter has a

look either way to see what the options are. All very close

quarters. But Ryan Wilson power drives over, other driver Glasgow,

and that is the victory safe. And takes the bonus point in defeat away

from the Ospreys. That was a real power play. Credit to the big eyes

of Glasgow as well. In furnace. -- fairness. Selection has been good

from Cusiter, working the fellas around the fringes. The supporter

player has come in, driving him over, Ryan Wilson getting the score,

but early support. That allowed him to be driven through.

This miles are there for all to see. Glasgow have had to battle

hard, but that is exactly what they have done and it is a hammer blow

for the Ospreys, who went 16-6 ahead, but then, Glasgow came into

their own. It is the Ospreys who fall to another home defeat and come

away empty-handed and a very accomplished performance by Glasgow

to get the win and the four points. Cusiter, in picture there, he will

be my man of the match, very neat and tidy, and his God was pivotal in

taking this game away from the Ospreys. -- his score was pivotal.

Very accomplished scrum-half. They battled hard, struggled in the first

half, the beginning of the second, but despite all the possession, the

Ospreys could not make it count. In return, with that breakaway try for

Chris Cusiter, the man of the match, then two more followed or DTH van

der Merwe and Ryan Wilson. Glasgow when by 28 points against 16. We do

you think you lost that? -- we do you think you lost that?

They had good territory. They got up there to score. It is a tough

lesson. We put on the Ospreys shirts regardless, come out to win, but did

not do that. How bad did the yellow card hit you?

That is always a problem. They got on the front towards the end, but

the young boys stuck in, as appointing the got another try at

the end. And about the youngsters? It is for them to push on. We want

to win when we put the jersey on, but learn lessons, and I am pleased

for the boys who made their debut and got more experience, but

hopefully more accuracy later. Thank you for your time so soon after the

game. Do you think Glasgow was just vastly

more experienced? They had the benefit of the depth. And lots of

youngsters for the Ospreys. But you saw the quality. Tom Ryder was

excellent. The line-up was not functioning before then. Then it

started to function. And then Cusiter and Jackson and company got

into the game. At half time, we talked about the Ospreys being

delighted in that position going ahead, but devastated now giving

that last try, not getting a bonus one. It is cruel sometimes. They

deserve more for the effort put in. When you look at it in its

entirety, they dominated 40 minutes. The second period of the second

half, and the first period of the second half. Through that time, they

were dominant. But for two 20 minute periods, Glasgow and Cusiter, in

free now, got very experienced players into the game, and put the

Ospreys to the sword, when they could have gone on to win the match.

Some shining lights amongst the youngsters and some real positives

from the Ospreys, not least Morgan Allan. He made about 14-15 carries.

Some could have led to a try. It could, and he was looking for

support. They could have got a quick ball and even scored. He was

excellent. They were competing against their Glasgow back and

turned the ball over. They cannot complain about bald territory or

possession. Game plan wise, they in well. But it is a matter of learning

and making sure, next time, when you are in that position to win, you

take it. That will beef a fairly unhappy Ospreys dressing room? It

will be. They have to win their home games, which they have built their

legacy on. Sam Davies, Sam Lewis, they were excellent. But there was a

lack of cohesion. Looking at the try by DTH van der Merwe, I have taken

it a few phases back, we would expect the Ospreys to come from the

outside. But you would expect to be able EEC from Dirksen, but they

conceded an early gain-line. -- able to see. You expect them to Russia.

But they do not. -- you expect them to rush up and stop the net this alt

is Glasgow take the space, going forward, resulting in pressure on

the line. And DTH van der Merwe took his opportunity. We bang on about

the Pro 12 and that you beat your top four rivals at home. They will

be disappointed. And we must turn attention to tomorrow, our big day

for Wales, not beating Australia for the last eight occasions, but you

think they can? I think they can. No doubt they have the ability, the

strike power to do it, and just about taking that initiative, taking

the opportunities when they are there. I have predicted they will

win, so I am hopefully right. How crucial is the return of Alex

Cuthbert? Very important, because it loads up north. It takes a lot of

responsibility of North, because he is big. He is a battering ram, but

with two holding the side, they can bring the Australian defenders in,
