Glyn Jones' Ospreys are champions of the Celtic League! The Ospreys, they

are champions for the second time in three years.

COMMENTATOR: The Ospreys have some silverware, they are cup champions.

Leaving the team after five years at the club, the region said Jones left

by mutual consent. He is returning to the UK to take charge of London

Welsh. London Welsh promoted to the Aviva Premiership. Return to rugby

after five years away... Tremendous liberations at Rodney Parade, for

the first time in six years, the Dragons have beaten the Scarlet!

Yes, Lyn Jones is back on how sweet it would be if his new charges could

get one over on his old team, Toby July two -- Toby Faletau will be

there to help them. There are Lions in both sides, as we have seen for

the visitors, Faletau and led by Alun Wyn Jones who has admitted he

has been an angry man in the last few weeks. If the Dragons are to

beat their regional rivals, they will have to overturn recent

history, the Ospreys have won their last eight matches against Welsh

opposition. They last lost against the Dragons if you believe in omens.

Good evening and welcome to the Liberty Stadium in Swansea, Tom

Shanklin is with me. As mentioned, a wobbly period for the Ospreys, two

defeats in Europe, no match points, how frustrated will they be and will

they be a wounded and dangerous animal? They have had a bit of poor

run of form. I do not think they have picked their strongest team and

the Dragons team are greatly coached and so will will be interesting to

light. You mention the team, Ryan Jones omitted, Alan Jones on bench

but most interestingly of all, Dan Biggar on fullback. Yes, they have

not gone with their strongest team, and they could be a kick up the

backside from their poor form, I would be fuming if I was Dan Biggar,

because it is a two way battle between him and Priestland. You have

got Matthew Morgan, a very exciting player, but conditions are good so I

expect a good game. But these coaches are known very well by Sean

Holley, how frustrated will be Dragons be -- Ospreys beat and how

can Dragons exploit that? There have been comments this week and I am

amazed there is no Ryan Jones this week because the Ospreys have never

lost three games in a row here at the Liberty Stadium and only one try

in the last three games. What is happening? They have got to grips

with their set piece yet, it is not functioning. The new scrum laws have

not really worked out. The teams are prepared coming to the Liberty

Stadium now. They only commit one player in the defensive tackle

contest and there are many Ospreys players. They get lines began a slow

them down. We want to see this, fluid attack, Ashley Beck cutting

the line, quick ball from the forwards. A real crucial for him

will be Andrew Coombs, having Abe back row in the second row. They

will really make this a tough battle for the Ospreys tonight. Thank you,

Sean. Kick-off is imminent, the teams are about to leave the

dressing rooms, four other games on tonight so we will keep you abreast

COMMENTATOR: Even though the hour does not go back for another day or

so, winter has certainly arrived. You can feel the cold wind blowing

through the Liberty. As I dare say that the Ospreys have with the way

their recent results have gone. The Dragons have not settled on their

first choice front row, Parry makes a second start as hooker, a big game

expected from Faletau, he scored a big try here last year. And with

Jason Toby suffering concussion, Lewis Robling gets a first start in

the centre. And there will be British middle -- precious little

opportunity for the they know what a big game it is for

them, two defeats in the Heineken Cup which means they are pretty much

out of that run. A defeat at home to Ulster last time they were here at

the Liberty so they need to win all stop Aaron Jarvis makes a first

start since breaking his leg against New Zealand last November. The

double celebration in the second row, with Alun Wyn Jones making it

100 league games and James King making it 50. 50 also for Justin

Tipuric in the back row. Dan Biggar makes his first start at 15 at this

level with the injury to Richard, with Jonathan Spratt alongside

Andrew Bishop. The two Jones boys provide most of the caps on the

bench, in the Ospreys. At the Dragons have an Adam Jones of their

own with more than 150 league appearances. There will be

one-minute's silence and this for two great servants of and Swansea

rugby. The former Swansea prop, spent many years as administrator

with Swansea and the Ospreys and Phil John, former coach and manager

of the underage teams here at the Ospreys.

And the man in charge this evening becomes the first man to referee 100

Celtic League games, number one, Nigel Owens. He is refereeing at the

top of his game at the moment and he is joined, going all over the world

in the big games and huge respect for Nigel Owens. Good luck to him. A

good achievement and my thoughts are with their families.

The last Welsh region to beat them was the Dragons, 20 odd months ago.

The Dragons will want Faletau to get into the game as much as possible.

Good kicking games, a very good turnover there. Another turnover

there, a double turnover. Space behind, a chance for Ross Wardle to

bring in Hallam Amos. Quickly taken by Jonathan Spratt.

Great off-load from Amos to Jevon Groves in support.

Couldn't release it in time, though. That made defensive work easier but

that is great work by Wardle. Looking for the off-load but not

forcing it when it wasn't on. Very loose at the moment, plenty of

turnovers and plenty of gaps in the Ospreys defence. You don't see that

very often. German groves did well. -- Jevon

Groves. Welsh drug but not quite so well

directed. Everybody stood and watched, he did not have enough draw

on it, slowly drawing but just not enough. Worth a shot from that

position, I suppose. Nothing much on.

He is into space and Tom Prydie against his own team gets the early

score! A little bit of luck for the Dragons but they will take that all

night long and Tom Prydie may not be showing a but he will be delighted.

He is very happy. A little bit of luck. Just watch, the ball comes,

overlap, throws a dummy and then little kick, a lovely Rick O'Shea.

Step, and I think just watch. The scrum-half there, Tom Habberfield

just gets caught up in the feet of Coombs. An easy run in four Tom

Prydie and what they start for the Dragons. They deserved it, only five

minutes gone but they have come up with a lot of confidence, spread the

ball. They have been looking for the off-load and that worked perfectly

from Andrew Coombs. The return ball of Tom Prydie and was easy enough

for the right winger. Kris Burton, well struck conversion attempt and

that is a dream start for the Dragons. A very good start for the

Dragons. An even bigger test of character now

for the Ospreys. Any nagging doubts that will have been there will have

been magnified. UMPIRE: He went for the ball. Aaron

Jarvis disconnected with Richie Rees' boot there. He is OK, to take

his place in the scrum. Watch the number nine. He is covering here, he

has got it all covered, got his job, the Rick O'Shea, he reacts well but

all of sat on his feet get caught up in that tackle and he's gone. That

is the luck that the Dragons made the most of. That is a slack start

by the Ospreys, to be honest. Defensively, there does not seem to

be much communication and it hit them up the run but the Dragons have

taken advantage of it very well. And did he touch it? I do not think

he did. I think he let it go. He missed it. It was a great dummy.

That was a good clearance kick by Kris Burton.

It was a great tackle and a great intercept.

They followed up after the kick by Kris Burton, despite being told

where to stay by Nigel Owens. There is the charge down. Why does

Kris Burton even kick this? Put the Morisi down. And then they are out

of the game. He just had to put it down. Now he has kicked it, they

are offside. He is going to take three points. That is understanding

the game and put in the ball down. -- putting the ball down.

That is the charge down. But the ball dam. It is a drop out 22. Now,

they kick come and they are offside. You could never put them onside.

That was well judged by Kris Burton. Interesting to see how the back

three play with Biggar out of position. When you play fullback is

sometimes, you can appreciate when you play stand-off where the

fullback in opposition will stand. And where to put the ball and

spread him around a little bit. If I were in the running for Number 10,

I would want to play in the number 10 position.

That was a lovely kick. It was a well-judged kick by Daniel Evans.

The Dragons do not want to give penalties away. Giving field

position away. It is a fine line between slowing it down and knowing

when to give it up as a bad job. Then the Ospreys will be looking to

dominate up front. He just managed to smuggle that

back in time. That was a lovely inside ball to

Jeff Hassler. Great hands by the Ospreys. Doing well to get the ball

back. The Dragons trying to come up as

quickly as possible. To keep the Ospreys behind the gain-line.

That was a loose ball. Coombs got through. The Dragons did well.

The Dragons skipper, leading the way defensively.

Despite the attention for the injured player, Kris Burton being

told to get on with it and he duly put sit out to play and we can go

down to the -- the pitch. Your thoughts are no Ryan Jones and

Biggar. I do not think Dan Biggar will want to be fullback. He would

want to be at 10. But needs must for the Ospreys in the absence of

their player. Now I shall Owens, 100 games in the Celtic League as

referee. What makes him so good -- Nigel Owens. He has confidence and

authority. He is respected. He has humour and empathy for the game and

a good knowledge. He is one of the finest. That is all from here at

the moment. A good tackle. I think he was held

up. Yes. He is. That was a good tackle. They tried to get the ball

de ground. Too many people, too many Ospreys players around the

ball. He was in big trouble. They have got him. Three men in the

tackle. James King, Bishop, Tipuric. They were all in there. Justin

Tipuric had a sterling effort last week. It was a disappointing

Ospreys performance, especially in the first half. They have a good

history. They are very proud. They will be disappointed, losing the

first two games. The first, Leinster, home. They did not have

the spark. Leinster are very experienced. An experience Taina --

Heineken Cup side. And there is the player with an Achilles injury at

the moment. Interestingly, Aaron Jarvis. Adam

Jones has admitted he is not having the best time with the new

scrummage laws at the moment. REFEREE: You have had three scrums,

three down. That is not good enough. Ulster, 8-3 ahead against the Blues.

It is a tough game. They have to show consistency. Show what they

can do. Our thoughts are with Matthew Rees. All the best. He had

surgery a couple of days ago and we hope for good news on the back of

that. She dangerous in midfield. He

slipped the tackle or stop -- dangerous. It is going to be

another super solo effort. A bit and magic from Matthew Morgan. He's

set so liked the Liberty Stadium. Justin Tipuric is the beneficiary.

-- he set alight the stadium. He looks who is in front of him. And

there is the missed tackle. He slips away. He worked in

partnership with the fullback. The tackle was made, great offload.

Great support play. And that is what he can do. I thought he was in.

It was a simple conversion for Dan Biggar. The Ospreys go ahead. The

ball comes out. Run it on and stop it. There is the prop, saying,

watch out. Running on. He is not sure. That was the break. That led

to the try. That is the problem, what you have to spot. A prop

forward, uncertain, his centre is uncertain. There is a missed tackle.

And they are away. -- mistackle. Alun Wyn Jones was there to save

the day for the Ospreys. Great enterprise by both of the teams.

That was very good play by the Dragons, created out wide, looking

for the offload, looking for space. Behind the line, the difference

between the first charge down really and that is a Scrum V. Good play by

Richie Rees. The Scarlets at 10-10 in Italy against Zebre.

Stephen Shingle who is starting at ten this evening.

A great cover tackle on Faletau. He will be soaring the morning. -- saw

in the morning. That is it, get it out, quick! They

are all in front of him at the moment. They are having

difficulties. Just taking that away from Burton. Taking candy from a

baby. Some things are proving difficult for them because the

defensive team are getting the eight-man shove an. -- shove on. A

great steel there. I just think though that if you know you will be

under pressure, you must work on the Channel one ball. Richie Rees is a

very competent scrum-half so get in, quick strike, get the ball away. And

get someone running deep to get over the gain-line.

Let's go back and find Phil Steele with more company. The Ospreys back

coach is with me. No other player even in Wales who could do that?

What is positive if we have got the confidence to shift the ball through

and allowing them to have the one versus one. I saw you in training

yesterday, making a big play of Ryan Jones having to play the role of

Faletau, do you think you have corralled Toby fairly well? We have

allowed many of them to come back onto us and that's an offer from

that. It is a decent effort. Thanks very much. It certainly is that,

plenty of entertainment. A try apiece in the opening quarter.

They did well to get a kick in from that position. Going against the

grain though, that's the trouble. Stepping back into the attack when

he is kicking. I don't think Screech was sure where

to go there. Run in pairs, do a little off-load, they are all doing

it as one Lima. They are not making much yardage -- doing it as ones.

Certainly a feature of the opening quarter, the number of clicks that

have been charged down. -- kicks. Superb take, Dan Biggar. Doing all

right at that position. Good run and very good off-load but

it did not go into the hand. Tyler Ardron got the one-handed pass in

but Tipuric couldn't quite get to it. He has now changed, and Kris

Burton just looked up to see where he wanted to put the ball. And it

was just a split second after Nigel Owens had called advantage over.

Couple of mistakes now, putting themselves under pressure. I

wouldn't be surprised if the Ospreys tried to strangle the scrum, get a

penalty out of it, get six points clear. A great attacking position.

Matthew Morgan has come over to the blindside. They are playing like

210s now. Very difficult now to get the ball to Adam Jones -- playing

like 210s now. That is the penalty. Matthew Morgan,

very difficult to split it. Get the ball to Matthew Morgan on the

left-hand side of the scrum. There it is, tackle a cyst. Clearly

on the ground, isn't he? -- tackle assist.

REFEREE: Time-out? Phil Steele, back to you. That rate by Matthew Morgan,

what do you make of it? A single individual bringing a crowd to its

feet. Well drilled defences, we do not see those line breaks very

regularly and we have got an individual here who can make

remarkable breaks and nearly a great finish. Like against Edinburgh. It

is not what the -- nice what the Ospreys are doing, they have got

options left and right from a number of pieces.

Applause in the background for Adam Jones coming onto the field. And

three more points supplied as the Ospreys tried to build a first-half

cushion. There he is, Adam Jones joins the fray for the injured Aaron

Jarvis. Ulster have got a second try, they lead by 13-3. That penalty

comes from a single knock-on from the Dragons. That is how important

field position is. When you know you will be under pressure with their

ball carrying, you need to be secure and play the ball in the opposition

half. The Blues slowly falling further

behind at Ravenhill. You can imagine what the atmosphere

will be like there. There is the cut out ball. Good cover defence, not

enough space for Walker. No Alex Cuthbert for the

internationals, of course. North and Walker, the only specialist wingers.

You have got Halfpenny and Liam Williams. Halfpenny has played most

of his career at that position, hasn't he?

Adam Jarvis we have heard as got eyes on his drive from our man on

the sideline. -- ice on his thigh. That is a clear sign of blocking.

The ball is supposed to be at the front.

Can they stay on their feet and get a drive on? They could come short

side here because Eli Walker is out of position here.

Richie Rees calling for ball carriers to get into position.

It is all very close quarters stuff. There is no width at all with the

Dragons at the moment. You could throw a blanket over them.

They need more width. Tell the wingers to spread out. Comfortable

defending for the Ospreys at the moment. They may be thinking about a

drop goal. This time, he gets it. A very good kick. They were going

nowhere with ball in hand but they have come away with points and a

drop goal for Kris Burton. Sits back in the pocket, great strike,

watching it and over it goes. That is a very good kick.

Good running and good tackle. It is a good build up by the Ospreys.

In the end, a disappointment for the Ospreys. They had been patient

and structured up until then. One little slip. It was not the

greatest pass. There are a few injuries at the moment.

Phil Steele. We can go back to the pitch. They comment on the Dragons

play, a different side this season. There is is a good contest.

Fancying their chances against Ospreys comes from time. And nice

offload for the first try. They are looking busy. It is a good contest.

A number rate? -- No. 8. He is looking good, lots of potential.

The Ospreys are looking to go top of the league, albeit temporarily,

if they win this evening. They are in third. Dragons are in 6th.

Robin Copeland has a try for the Blues. 16-eight the score at

Ravenhill. So much pace, away from the scrum.

There is the 8-9 combination that worked the Dragons way from the

danger area. Faletau, 26 caps for Wales already.

And true macro was in the way from Habberfield's pass. That was a let-

off for the Dragons. -- Coombs. You have to tighten up the defence on

the fringes. Tipuric spotted it. He just breaks. There was no guard

whatsoever. A good scrambled defence. You can feel the pressure

now. It was a good tackle. Amos. The Dragons will be happy to go in

three behind. Penalty. It is a free play now. Go for it.

Tyler Ardron has carried the ball well.

A very interesting article with Alun Wyn Jones in the Guardian

newspaper, saying how cheesed off he was after the defeat against

Leinster in the first round of the Heineken Cup. Still carrying it

around weeks later. It was very honest and very frank.

Three more and with half-time approaching, Ospreys have a six-

point lead. They have slowly in come back into this. A few mistakes

from the Dragons have given them that. They could have turned the

intensity, but the pressure on, come away with.S -- with points.

Can the Dragons press home from here? No. The ball turned over. To

two passes. It is arm. Great play and good support play, Dan Biggar.

If Los Tejas had kept his feet, he would have released Hassler a

second time -- if Justin Tipuric had kept his feet.

Just kick it out. Great work in the break down by Andrew Coombs. Now

they can put it out. They were playing advantage anyway. It will

be a kick. Presumably they do not want to run from their own line.

Andrew Coombs better do it himself. Kris Burton puts it over and brings

to an end an entertaining first half. Phil Steele.

I was hoping to have a word with Alun Wyn Jones. Absolutely livid

when he ran past me, put us out of the way, very annoyed about the

fact they conceded possibly a try- scoring opportunity. And when Alun

Wyn Jones is in that mood, you do not argue with him. But he has gone

in, I would not like to be the on the end of the rocket at at half-

time. Nigel Owens, in charge of his 100

Celtic to the game. Dragons scored first. Ospreys hit back with a

scintillating break from Matthew Morgan. Dan Biggar playing in the

unfamiliar position of fullback. Penalties to give them a buffer.

Kris Burton, he brought Dragons back within range with this. It is

finely balanced at half-time. 16-10. They are ahead in terms of

possession and territory. Five handling errors for Ospreys, that

will be a source of frustration. A looking at the first half, you

mentioned your thoughts, last time we were here at the Liberty Stadium,

it was a cagey affair, the Ulster game, this one is a loser. No lack

of commitment, both going at each other and a very competitive

Dragons side. Their mindset might be better going into this game,

given the European adventure for the Ospreys. But they are good for

the half-time lead and there have been good performances. The game is

a long way from over. You have been impressed with the Dragons defence.

It started off well, great line speed, getting off the line quickly

and put in the Ospreys attack under pressure. Ospreys did not have many

options. I have been disappointed with the Dragons, they have not

been clearing their lines from kick-offs. But the Ospreys, they

should have capitalised. Two mistakes, knock-ons by the line and

Alun Wyn Jones would be fuming going in. Looking at the first try,

occurring after three minutes. Tom Prydie will be pleased to go over

against his old side. A poor kicking game from the Ospreys early

on. The Dragons do not look like they believe they can win again. We

can look at the first try. They came out with a plan to get

territory and put pressure on the Dragons. This box kick, there is no

chase from Jeff Hassler. This was very early in the game. Matthew

Morgan into position, drilling it through but there is nowhere. It

gave the Dragons the ball back to counter-attack. A change in the

Ospreys 22 restarts, kicking at field, which is dangerous. Here it

goes midfield. Toby Faletau. Probably the Dragons most dangerous

player. He targeted Aaron Java's. He knew there was a mismatch. It

only took a half tackle. It allows you to attack both sides of the

ruck. You make your own luck and that was a nice one for Tom Prydie

to score against his old team. We can see glimpses of what is going

on in the dressing room. We saw Toby Faletau in the build up to the

try, another barnstorming performance. We have talked about

what a coup it was to resign him. He is a talisman. World-renowned on

the back of the Lions performance. It was his tackle that stopped

Matthew Morgan scoring another sensational individual effort. The

corner flag in as well. Plenty of value for money from Toby Faletau.

He did bring down Matthew Morgan. Justin Tipuric was on hand to

finish it off. It is not just his support play, he

has other attributes. He is clever. Working in tandem with Andrew

Bishop, using short arms to hold on Kris Burton. Watch what he does.

This is clever play, making a tackle, taking the player to ground.

No other Ospreys player engages. He is very clever. This is what he is

good at, sniping. He could play in the backs if you asked him to.

Matthew Morgan knows, to make the break, he speaks on the outside

shoulder looking for the offload and does not get it. He fights with

Andrew Coombs for the race to get to Matthew Morgan, not just

watching him, running under the sticks. He looked inside, he saw

the defence coming in. And you get over the line.

We questioned the wisdom of putting Dan Biggar at that position but when

you see what he can do with ball in hand, you have to put him somewhere

on the pitch? Unique natural ability and flair and he certainly has that.

He has had a great Game 15 but what was pleasing for the Ospreys was

that they identified the prop and you have got to be getting the fast

ones outside but he did everything but score the try. Thanks, guys. The

second hardest moments away and we have to wait two more weeks before

international rugby returns to our screens.

Steele has been put through his paces by one of the stars of the

campaign, Tara. She is a Swansea fitness expert, you have may be seen

on the telly before, this is reminiscent of the one we did with

Sam Warburton, two very physically well disposed gentleman. I know Phil

treats his body as a temple and he is down on the touch-line now

talking to Tara hoping we can find out exactly how he got on.

This lady made me have legs like a dressage horse today! What is it all

about? I took part in this with the people in the DVLA, I got six of the

troop to get superfit and get the sedentary workers fit at and

healthier -- fitter. This is the live longer Wales weekend. I am a

typical view of Scrum V and I used to play a bit, I was pretty fit,

used to be a PE teacher, I like a curry once a week, sometimes, what

should I be doing at my age? Moving a bit more, so many people sit down

so much in their jobs, they sit down when they get to work and get home,

so try to stay as active as possible. That does not mean that

you have to train for hours in a gym, just being moving and doing

active things with your family is really important to get your

circulation going. Also nutrition, you can be good 80% of the time,

even clean whole foods, good vegetables, things like that and

then you can have your curry from time to time. What are the catches?

Remake of these are my little surprise to say thank you for

joining, sexy sprouts. Chocolate sprouts and I must say taste like

sprouts covered in chocolate! Live longer, Wales! The boys nodding

sagely after that advice. A couple of other games going on, the Blues

had a tough assignment a wave at Ravenhill after they beat Toulon.

Jared Payne struck again for Ulster, they were taken into a 16-3

lead but none of the match from last week, Robin Copeland has struck back

for the Blues at Ravenhill crossing for a try in the number eight jersey

and a penalty from Leigh Halfpenny has taken the score to 16-11 so the

Blues far from out of that one at Ravenhill, capacity crowd and a very

tough place to play as we know but the Blues' renaissance continues.

They will try to make that what will be another great result for them.

The other scores then, Glasgow against Munster, 3-3, and Zebre

currently beating the Scarlets, they have shown they can win in the PRO12

and it could be a tough night for the Scarlets. Let's get back to this

game with the Ospreys and the Dragons, the Dragons appear to be

back out on the pitch. Where do you see this much going, Tom? I think it

has to be the way of the Ospreys. I think they need to keep the line

speed going. I want to see Matthew Morgan closing up the game, taking

control and we know he can score tries from anywhere on the pitch but

we need to see the tactical play from him. As the game breaks down,

we will see a tremendous line breaker and Dan Biggar is coming

back from fullback, looking accomplished but he is giving them

options left and right of a second time almost so the wingers must come

looking. Walker and Jeff Hassler have got to come forward as well .

lasted a matter of seconds, and they could miss him because he

could easily slot into No. 8 instead of Toby Faletau. I think it

was a tackle on Eli Walker. There is the clear-out.

The try was on. I think this is the injury. The tackle. That does not

look too good. I hope it is a stinker when you have a shooting

pain down your arm, from a hit to the muscle on top of the shoulder.

I just hope that is all right. I think he catches the top of his

head. Just ahead of us will be a concerned coach.

Just checking on the injury, nothing coming down yet. No. I do

not know what is going on now. Grey at events by the Dragons, how do

you get backing, attacking wise? Some moments of magic. Tipuric's

tries, great individual effort. Morgan causing problems early in

the game. There is a lot of good with the game. We have got parity

with set pieces. But 14 points from the two tries, the Ospreys have

started this half well and they are attacking on the inside ball, which

we have tried to eradicate. But they are still trying to do that.

How good is Tipuric? He is outstanding. His individual

performance. We have monitors. Even the things you are not seeing at

home, he is always doing something to influence the game. Thanks for

Liberty Stadium asked Toby Faletau, popular whoever he is playing for or

against, such an unassuming young man and such a talent. Hopefully, it

is just a bang on the head and nothing too untoward. Sometimes we

don't appreciate the effort the medical staff but in. They do and

absolutely fantastic job in all the regions. Dragons one man short with

the sin-bin and a scrum in disarray. And that is a penalty try. Nigel

Owens has gone straight behind the posts. No doubt whatsoever. The

scrum was under incredible pressure and Nigel Owens awards the five

points for the Ospreys underneath the posts. A very quick decision by

Nigel Owens Lewis Evans is way offside, comes in, does not disrupt

they are going back. That is an easy decision. Richie Rees is OK to try

to pick up after the ball went out from Joe Bearman's feet. But from

there, two more for Dan Biggar. And now it is just a matter of by how

many. That is a very quick turnaround in

the second half, one opportunist try and then... He is away. Tipuric

reading the play, once again. I am not sure about that, you can see Dan

Biggar is a stand off and coming in all the time so it he is taking the

play away from Matthew Morgan a little bit and now they have got no

wit in the attack on the outside channels and I don't think many

sides in Wales do that well at the moment. Liam Williams is it quite

well. Dan Biggar try to get the underhand

pass. And again, good old, lovely

heartbreak and in a good field position.

That is a very good steel, very good position. Sam Parry did

exceptionally well there. Let's see if there is any news of

the injury, to Toby Faletau. Phil? I have had a word with some of the

Dragons medical team and they understand that at this moment in

time that it is a neck injury and that it is precautionary and that

Toby is in the changing room now being reassessed but he is not

thought to be going to hospital straight away so the early

indications are that it is better than perhaps we thought it looked at

the time. What was astounding was the ovation that he had as he was

brought out on the stretcher. All the Ospreys fans a tremendous

applause, brilliant medical staff, the Ospreys lads carrying the

stretchers were all wearing the Ospreys crest and they are the

Ospreys' stretcher bearers and the spirit of rugby was in evidence all

the way through. Toby such a great player and also popular as well.

Hopefully the news I just gave you is portent of good news to come. I

think Phil Steele is being paid by the word tonight! Take a breath, for

God's sake! Or take a sprout! From the way he recovered from the

hit, he felt his head, maybe a little twinge and a couple of weeks

ago before a soft encounter against the block.

December. And Francisco Chaparro only just turned 24. Kris Burton has

biggest ball carriers going off, Alun Wyn Jones and Richard Hibbard

going off. They have put in a shift. In the first half in particular,

Richard Hibbard and Alun Wyn Jones carried and carried and carried a

bit more. Because of the long injury to Toby

Faletau, which we will bring you news off if we have any, it means

that sport Wales has been pushed back the ten minutes.

They still have to clear the decks from here because you can bet the

pressure will come on from the Ospreys scrum.

Adam Hughes is the one who's stepped offside. And it is more of

the same. It is unrelenting from the Ospreys. Tyler Ardron has had a

good game this evening. But Sam Lewis will see it out. He has done

well. I think he has become impress if. -- impressive.

Scott Baldwin, he gets the Bowness try. They did their best to drive

him off the path, but they were always in control and it was good

enough to get a fourth try and the bonus point. All the emphasis went

on trying to drive them over. Unfortunately, they neglected the

right-hand side. They are going, get them over the touchline. The

drive is on. That was good timing by Scott Baldwin. Over he goes.

Might have been in the mix for the third hooker position for Wales

after taking the shirt in Japan, but Phillips held off that

challenge. The Dragons could not hold off the challenge of the

Ospreys scrum, the pack drive. That was a great strike by Dan

Biggar. He keeps -- keeps up his 100% record.

They survived, somehow! That was great play. So many ways you

thought that the Ospreys could have got on the scoreline again. He gets

up, goes again! The crowd are just shy of 9000.

Ulster had been the Cardiff Blues, they got a 50 try. -- have beaten.

Jonathan, your man of the match. Have a guess. I think my man of the

match tonight is a certain Ospreys player, Mr Tipuric. He has been

immense. Thoroughly deserved man of the match performance. Fantastic.

The Dragons captain has not given up, has he? Leading by example,

Andrew Coombs. A flick... Falls into the hands of

Francisco Chaparro and the Dragons get a totally unexpected try.

Wait, -- well, some consolation as Chaparro gets on the scoresheet late

on. Nicely struck by Kris Burton. They

have kept on fighting and they have got a bit of a reward. Like them to

you, Phil. I have just seen Toby Faletau taken to hospital in a neck

race and a stretcher and he will get the best assessment their -- neck

I think the Ospreys fans thought that he was tackled without the

outside. That was all right. The TMO, Tim Hayes, checking

initially, Nigel initially said that both went to the ball, Jonathan

Spratt said he was tackled without the ball. Let's have a look. The

ball is released, no, nothing in it. If you play that at normal speed, it

may be a little bit ahead but this is the one. He goes in and doesn't

make a tackle. If you play that at normal speed, there is nothing in

that. He pushes the other player, that is the first thing. He put his

arm across, doesn't hold him back, does he? No. I wouldn't be surprised

if they give a penalty. Nothing clear there, play on, says

Tim Hayes. Against the head, there is a

chance, spilt by... That is shock. Tebaldi was in some shock, he it on.

-- so much shock. Pushed off the ball, surprise,

knock-on. . We have reached the final minutes.

Of a game that has lasted a long, long time. The second half has

lasted 50 minutes. One more reset scrum before we can finally bit good

night to it. It has got the Ospreys back to winning ways though, that is

the important thing for them. The final play of the Ospreys try to

make this scrum count. Ieuan Jones drives away.

They may as well put the ball up the back because they will not get a

bonus point and they may end up conceding. That brings an end to the

Dragons' suffering. The Ospreys back to winning ways with a bonus as

well. Injury to Toby Faletau, which hopefully is not too serious we will

keep an eye on that over the coming days. Powerful performance to the

Ospreys and good luck to Tony. We hope it is good news for Toby

Faletau, but it is good news for the Ospreys. Four tries and powerful

performance and they have beaten the Jaggers by 40-17.

STUDIO: Commiserations to the Dragons tonight, congratulations to

the Ospreys. Edinburgh are 33 ahead against Treviso in Murrayfield,

Glasgow 6-13 behind two Munster, the top of the table clash. Ulster beat

the Blues 39-21 and the bonus point victory for them and the draw we

mentioned earlier, Zebre 16, Scarlets 16. That's how I look how

that leaves the table as things stand. Ospreys have gone top of that

victory but of course, Glasgow and Munster are still playing so eight

victory for either of those will take them above the Ospreys. The

Dragons remain in sixth after that result and Scarlets are in seventh.

We all saw that lengthy injury delay during the second half, Toby Faletau

injuring his head during a tackle and he was stretchered off, there

was a very long delay while the paramedics sought to him. The

paramedics sought to him on the pitch, he was stretchered off with a

neck brace on to a standing ovation and we are told that he has now been

taken to Morriston Hospital for assessment but the news seems to be

that it is precautionary so we wish Toby Faletau all the very best from

everyone here on Scrum V for a swift and speedy recovery. Back to the

game then. At half-time, we spoke about it being a close game in the

balance, ultimately in the second half the Dragons could not live with

the Ospreys. They outplayed them, great reaction from the Ospreys,

they have gone two losses in Europe and come out here and played like

they did, it was pleasing. Disappointed with the Dragons. They

started well, scored a try but apart from that, you need to look at ways

of breaking things down. We can get to the man of the match, the

undisputed man of the match, Justin Tipuric is with Phil Steele.

I am sure you will not mind me by asking about Toby, a message for

him? It is never nice to see a player injured and a close friend

and I hope for the best for him, we just hope he is well. Let's hope it

is precautionary, you're the man of the match, well done that. What did

the Ospreys do differently that they have not done in the past three? It

has been a tough three weeks, we have been so frustrated, we let

ourselves and our fans down and our coaches and it has been a hard two

weeks, we got our heads down and worked hard. Extra training

individually which is getting us this winter day. Alun Wyn Jones, you

gave me a livid look at half-time. What happened? We didn't say

anything at all, we could feel things getting leaves and we started

the second half like that and then some individual skills and

collaboration with the bench was pretty good tonight. And Justin was

my question to you, the past two weeks, how have they been for you?

No disrespect to the Dragons but there has been a different level of

competition but a lot of work has been going on and you get asked

these questions all the time but a good grind on the boys, and we

needed the win before we split up. I am sure you pass on your best wishes

Tipuric is a special player, but Sean Holley, he seemed to be

operating on a different level. Credit to the coaching team for game

at the line-out, looking at this angle, one at the front but good

separation and a nice bloke from Joe Bearman, the threat from Jeff

Hassler on the inside rooms at the Dragons have got three defenders

flying out on the outside creating a gap for Habberfield. This is a

one-on-one and at half-time, this guy can play in the wax so he

deserves that bounds. He was everywhere to light, instrumental in

the play of the Ospreys, not just attack but so acute around the ball

in defence. Clever holding people up. You can use him in the fringes

to be a playmaker and bring people off a forward effort. He is very

clever, great feet, bowling two hands. A consummate player and what

Warren Gatland has now is a real selection problem. Certainly does.

Sean, I looked at you when he scored that second try. Here is

exceptional. Lots of grunt out in the modern game but in Tipuric, he

sees the bigger picture and that instant feel for what is the right

decision. Notwithstanding the fact that he should have put Walker or

Jeff Hassler in for a try but a lovely player and I enjoy to see him

playing like that. White back in the autumn internationals just two weeks

away, might we see him and Sam Warburton reunited in the same back

row? That was a debate for a lots of last year and towards the end of Six

Nations, we saw how effective they were as a pair. Coaching headaches

are good things sometimes. I do not envy Warren Gatland that but they

are a good combination playing together, while Britain has hinted

that he is trying to get comfortable with a left, right option . Thank

the Liberty Stadium after a miserable two weeks in Europe where

they found themselves bottom of the pool, they have returned to the

liberty in style with a 40-17 win over the beleaguered Dragons. Last
