It is around 12 of the Pro12 and the race for the top four is heating up.

Leinster would were looking to gold topped with a rare victory at the

Liberty Stadium on Friday. The Scarlets two could have returned to

the summit with a win over Connacht. There were a Tabasco law. -- a

Basker law. Can the underdogs produce a shock as a mark and the

from Ben Te'o. What a brilliant off-load this is. The ball comes

is going. We will have a penalty or drop goal and robbed them of the

bonus point. Very well with Dan Dave Kearney slides in for a second, does

settle it. The thing we have got to make sure is that we learn and we

have probably been guilty of not taking the learning from games and

into trainings and padding to games over the past two weeks. Again, we

have got to make sure we regroup, just keep moving forward.

Leinster 's first victory at the liberty since 2009. It took them to

the top of the table. The Ospreys had more of their fair share than

possession but just lacked a cutting edge. There is, they would as

clinical. They had three opportunities and scored three

As a winger, you have to drop a little bit and you see what is in

front. As a cc that, he could have moved up. Now we are scored in no

man's land. Sam Davies tries to tackle. It is brilliant executed. It

is a great finish. Second try, forwards, all front five, Baldwin

has a Rush of blood, get out of the line and that is an easy run in four

Ben Te'o. Again, dissenting special, offload, inside tracking and he is

over. That was the difference. The Ospreys pig territorial. Dan Biggar

kicked well. They were in the gale. They missed a couple of kicks which

might make the difference but when it came to the crunch, when the

opportunity think of it can't I was differently. They'll be frustrated.

They had good territory and good possession and it conceded tries

from two defensive tactical errors. Scott Baldwin has jumped out of the

cost them dear. The difference with that though, the forwards are going

well and we all are set against the Scarlets colleges pick and drive,

pick and drive. They do lack that cutting edge and pace out wide. If

scored a lot of good tries to. Fortunately we got pipped at the end

there. Pat Lam not quite as angry as we thought he may have been posed

much. It was an intriguing one because both sides have shared the

lead of this table for most of this season so far but both were coming

into it after the back of disappointing Christmas period. A

big win for the Scarlets. It is a massive win. Irrespective of how it

came. Some of the tries. I thought Regan King was Brion. I thought that

sit deep. Again I think it will bring another string to Wales' blow

as well, something they have pushed for. They think 15 is possibly his

best position. But it is what teams need in modern rugby, and he can be

scheduled ten games. -- Swalec Cup. This weekend is the start of the

Swalec Cup and this is a competition with great tradition down the years

for giant-killing. Newport being beaten. A trifle Kevin Gary Moore!

Pontypridd being beaten, and of course Saint Peters beating Cardiff.

Oh, yes. The magic of the cup. Today we have come to Port Talbot. Tata

Steel are taken on clinically. Can the underdogs can drop some magic

and conjure a result? That's find out. Abracadabra. It is pouring

down. We have a championship side. You ready? One, two, three.

Cup day. Made a lot of the magic of the cup and the potential for

giant-killing, does that still exist? Yes, the cup is a thrashing

change from the league for us, chance to get away from the pressure

of points every week. Not many clubs like Tata Steel, are there? Works

team effectively. It is a taste of the background of the club. The

rugby section has been going along time. It was really hard in there,

as I'm sure you've heard. We are just going to try to get going and

get through this rough patch. Tata Steel have been good enough to

provide sporting facilities for the various sections through the years.

I just hope we keep going and get through it. I am here to watch my

other half play. He is playing for Tata Steel? Yes. Was he nervous

today? I think he is nervous, obviously playing a Premiership

team, that little step up. Nothing they can't seem to handle at the

moment. Who is going to win this? I'm going to go with my heart and

say Tata Steel. Good for you. We've seen some incredible shocks, haven't

we? Newport, Saint Peters against Cardiff. This is the beauty of the

rugby, isn't it? You look at the two teams out there today, and you'd

swear they were in the same division. It is a leveller, these

conditions. It is a good game, actually. Not too many knock-on is

for the conditions they are playing in, I think they have done well.

Would you be out there playing in this weather? I would, actually.

When you are out there, when you first go on it is freezing cold. I

had water in my shoes. When you go on, all of the water just goes in

your shoe and then warms up. Do you think you can pull it off today,

Tata Steel? Got a second-half performance in them? I can't see why

not, we are dominating them in the scrum, keeping our shape. You gave a

So the magic unlike the rain proves to be in short supply, no great

shock today. Two teams going at each other in the mud in the great

tradition of Welsh cup rugby. Hocus-pocus. And I'm here craving

the trench foot at soggy Saint Helens as Swansea take on a repeat

of the 95 final, could there be more magic? Ryan Thomas, good early

pressure from the whites. In their digging, and a penalty given. Early

chance for Ian Brooks to put Swansea on the board. Wells. That's the

showed there is not that much of a difference between the Premiership

and a championship, we have come away bitterly disappointed. We are

acclimatised to it, it is or is tough on the touch judges as well. A

lot of things going on out there. I thought our set piece, the scrum in

particular, was really good. As long as we had something to build around,

which was our scrum today, it kept as together in moments when it got

tense. You had Gareth Jenkins on the line, throwback to the old school

days? Fair play to him, you was keen to have a go in his old ground. Not

really sure what he was doing. Three Jack Main Yard and Ortiz saw them

home at Church bank but the best conditions were in Colwyn Bay where

our GC flew the flag against the cup Crusaders of the 1980s, Llanharan.

Bottom of the championship with no wins from 12 and our GC showed no

mercy racing into a 43-0 victory. They scored 15 tries in all. Tom

Hughes and Tom Sutton scored four each. A further 50 points followed

in the second half as they ran up the biggest score in their history.

In the only other match to survive, Newcastle Emlyn won comfortably at

he is thrown in. A winner for me, I think Harold Dixon might be in with

a chance of being included. Lloyd Ashley might be in with a shout. But

I can't see Warren Gatland going too far away from what he knows. We
