The Premiership's relegation rumble and the final standings

The human Enigma machines Michael Stewart and Pat Nevin will work out

the permutations. So let's kick off with a look

at the state of play. A very important win at lunchtime

for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. We will hear about that shortly.

Celtic, it says 3-1 but it has just gone 4-1.

Lots to play for still in the Championship. It is 0- 04

second-place Falkirk are weighed to Dumbarton. St Mirren need a point to

make sure they avoid relegation play-off. Dundee United need to turn

that into a winning. -- a win. Raith Rovers could be in the relegation

play-off spot if that result continues and Ayr United

automatically relegated. Time to get continues and Ayr United

my breath back. Now the match at the Highlands watched Frost by Leah

McLeod. The first half performance against

Hamilton today is something that the fans here have seen precious little

of this season. They led on ten by Brad Mackay. Fisher missed one of

the chances of the season to double the lead. Tansey's penalty made it

two before the break. At his word denied a clear penalty themselves.

It was an error strewn second period with Redmond's goal coming too late

in the day. That was Liam McLeod. We are about

to hear from both managers. They spoke to our man Martin Dowden. A

win, you said all you need is a win, probably deserved? Not probably,

obviously. Created numerous chances and dominated the game. Strong in

the air, strong in the tackle. Attacked really well and defended

even better. Yet again, we don't get a decision. I am a big supporter of

the referees, they have a difficult job to do but I cannot keep doing

it. Every single week it seems to be decisions that go against us. The

referee who said they apologised for making mistakes did the same again

today. Don't get me wrong, the first half we did not help ourselves.

There was a penalty. It gets frustrating. I think we'll start by

Martin there. He is upset. Has he got grounds? Absolutely. That was

absolutely a penalty, no doubt about it. The official hasn't seen that,

it is a real shame. In the 55th minute was when it happened. The

game finished 2-1 but who knows what would have happened then. In the

overall game, they were second best. There was no doubt Inverness had a

whole bunch of chances. They should have had a penalty kick. Would have

been a sending-off. Usher wouldn't have been a sending-off, it would

have been a penalty. Earlier on, should he have kept his own counsel?

Does the pressure. It is when the results matter so much that the

pressure is telling. Martin says he has been a big supporter of the

referees but now the pressure is on. Ritchie Forum getting a bit

garrulous saying not probably but obviously we are the better team?

They had a whole bunch of chances in the first half. I think it is time

for a wee bounce around the grounds. We will start at Rugby Park. It is

all happening. Dundee one. Marcus Haver with the goal -- Marcus Haber.

There was a header but in the second half, there was a cross, Marcus

Haber with the header. It has given Dundee a vital lead here at Rugby

Park. Dundee deserved to be in front. They may have gone in front

Park. Dundee deserved to be in with Kevin Gomis' header. I have

seen the video back and it does suggest the linesman got the

decision right. Spare a thought for the other linesman. He was actually

physically sick at one point in the first half. Not much sympathy shown

by his referee colleague Craig Thompson who brandished the red

card. It was all very amusing. We will talk about that later! To Fir

Park, Motherwell against Ross County. Another tense one at the

third of the table. Jane Lewis is there. Yes, Chris Routers has given

third of the table. Jane Lewis is Ross County the lead after 72

minutes. Craig Samson came out for the ball but Routis is scored. The

second half has been far better fair than the first half. Nerves were

getting the better of both sets of players in the opening 45 minutes.

There was so much to play for but very little to talk about in the

opening 45 minutes. Plenty to talk about now. The second half has been

way better. Before Ross County scored, Motherwell looked the more

likely to score. Elliott Freer enjoyed plenty of success. A free

kick was really well saved. Ross County did have chances before they

took the lead but moments ago Craig Curran had a chance to make it 2-0.

This game has sparked into life. It is end to end stuff. Ross County are

in the driving seat. It could be three very important points for Ross

County. Thank you. The only match in the top six in the Premiership today

is in the east end of Glasgow. Champions Celtic against fourth

placed Saint Johnstone. St Johnstone were the last team to beat Celtic

but they are not going to do it this afternoon. Celtic leading by four

but they are not going to do it this goals to one. All the goals

happening in the second half. Stephen Maclean levelled it up for

Saints. Then a Dedryck Boyata header. Calum MacGregor with a

lovely run and a terrific solo goal, only a minute after coming on as a

substitute has made the scoreline so far 4-1. We dropped into the

Championship. A dramatic tale from start's Park. Alan Forrest has just

Championship. A dramatic tale from had a penalty saved by the

substitute goalkeeper. Raith Rovers Connor Brennan came on after only

two minutes. He saved it to make the score 1-1. It is a really dramatic

game. It has swung either way. There have been mood swings all over.

Raith Rovers lost their goalkeeper who was ordered off for a foul. Then

they took the lead on 37 minutes after a really good goal by Johnny

Court, his first of the season for Raith Rovers. Then they lost an

equaliser. This time it was Ross Doherty for a united. It was low

past the goalkeeper into the back of the net and Ayr United have just

missed a penalty. 1-1 does not do either side any favours a specially

with what is happening at Easter Road. At the moment, Ayr United

would be relegated and Raith Rovers will be in the play-off. And at

Easter Road, Brian MacLachlan is there. The first half is very

uneventful. The home side took the lead into the box. Grant Holt with

the touch. It possibly did come off the Saints defender Gary McKenzie.

Holt was claiming the goal. Saint Mirren have come back into it and

equalised just before the hour mark. Rory Loy and his right foot shot the

ball into the back of the net. The Saints fans have been chancing we

are staying up. What is that about not counting your chickens. One

are staying up. What is that about thing is clear, the introduction of

the play-offs has introduced an element of excitement. Excitement,

drama, all sorts of incidents. I think everybody agrees that they

have been a really good addition to the Scottish game, because you get

games which are meaning things right until the end of the season which is

a definite positive, no doubt about that. I think we will be back to the

Premiership and we will start at the game Kilmarnock against Dundee that

Jonathan is at. It is all too much for him. I was expecting him to say

don't forget to tune in to see a linesman being sick and then getting

a red card! That is a close one. Jonathan says there is other

footage, we cannot see how it is possibly offside. To be fair,

Dundee, I think they should have had three or four goals. Some teams to

thing, have you practised finishing this week? They have not finished

practising heading. They were not getting on target until Haber got a

chance later on. Neil McCann that the miracle man, he has come in on

the back of seven straight defeats. They are heading for a second win

and they seem to have found that elusive momentum? There is no doubt

that the performances have been a huge improvement as well. To go

that the performances have been a a side which is clearly going to be

so low and the void of any a side which is clearly going to be

confidence to instil a game plan that the players will feel

comfortable with, because last week they were impressive and they

deserved their victory at Fir Park. Another away game at Rugby Park.

They have got momentum behind them now, they have got a game plan that

suits them. As Pat says it was a really good finish from Marcus

Haber. Playing good football. That pitch, the amount of teams that go

to that pitch and cannot play as one of the home side on it, they were

creating loads of chances as well. They were a joy to watch. Lets move

on to Motherwell and Ross County. Motherwell are the side with the

worst home record in the division. Perhaps it is not as a prize that

they are trailing to Ross County who have hit some form at the right

time. I think they had a corners in the first few minutes. A draw is OK.

Just playing on the break and Routis comes up and gets the goal. Schalke

is not there and boys. He is a good player. They have had to come up

with a game plan and at the moment it seems to be working for them.

They will have taken huge confidence the Highland derby last week to go

and annihilate your closest rivals like that, they will take huge

confidence. They are a side who should be punching much higher up

than they are at the moment. They should be in the top six. They have

enough quality in their side and they will be disappointed that they

are scrapping at the bottom. There is a match in the top six and it is

Celtic cruising. There are 4-1 up against Saint Johnstone. They have

still got a lot to play for. They have this points target. I think St

Johnstone made a big mistake today, they equalised! A minute later,

Celtic said enough of this, and they hammered it. It is the way they are

playing this season as they have gone on. Particularly as soon as the

Championship was won, they have relaxed and they have gone through

the game and enjoyed it. They are a pleasure to watch if you like

watching good football and goods goals being scored. Brendan Rodgers

confirming to our man that Patrick Rogers will stay for the rest of the

season, missing out on the under 20s World Cup and he is rewarded by

scoring a couple of goals. He has come to form, he has done well in

the last couple of weeks. He certainly deserves to maintain his.

Position I wonder whether it is Celtic trying to get Patrick Roberts

back into the team and convince them to stay next season, because the

difficulty for Patrick Roberts is he has that huge price tag that City

paid for him and whether Celtic would get value at the high-end of

the market for him. Would he be a good addition to the squad to keep?

Yes, but the price would have to be right. It is a tough one to try and

balance out. We spoke about the play-offs and the virtues thereof.

In the Championship, it is me pent-up for second spot. Falkirk

holding onto that. They have to match Dundee United. Falkirk have

just scored. It is looking good them. They miss out on the play-off

fixtures. They ended up playing Kilmarnock last time and they were

out of it. They don't want that to happen again. They have put so much

in. It was Hibs before that. They are comfortable right now but that

was a late goal there. They were getting pushed all the way through.

There is only about six or seven minutes. Falkirk are quietly going

about their business. They are under the radar. They will take second

place and it is big for them, no doubt. I don't think it is just that

there are those extra games, they have quite a small court of their

squad and it is difficult to play so many games at that end of the season

as well. If they have got themselves into second place into fewer games,

it will definitely help the squad. The first round of play-offs, it is

Mortimer and then the United. That may be an indication of how tight

that will be. Morton have been on an absolutely terrible run, eight games

without a win. But oddly enough, I have been involved in a few sets of

play-offs in my career when I was playing and oddly enough, everything

else goes out of your mind. Did you enjoy it, Pat? No, because we got

beaten! The pressure was great. If you were a team a lower team, it is

like you got a shock to nothing so you look forward to coming into

that. They are stressful games to play stop the thing about Dundee

United, I spoke to David McCammon, this is a rebuilding season for us

so perhaps Falkirk punching above their weight. Should they have been

contending for the title? I saw quite a bit of Dundee United at the

start of the season and I thought they put together a really good

squad. Maybe short of numbers but the quality was there. They started

very well. I was expecting them to come back again but they were not.

It has been inconsistent since then. They go into these play-offs with a

second chance. They have got a second chance that they finished

third and they got the chance to get themselves, one of the lower teams

in. They have got another shot at getting promoted. That is

psychologically another chance. We mentioned they were dead on their

feet last season but they will have that experience? If you have been

beaten before you think, oh my goodness, not again. Never forget

about this league, we always talk about how hard it is to get out of

when you have Rangers in there, hips and Hearts. You still have Dundee

United and Morton. It is a tough League Two get outside Dundee

United, if they manage by hook or by crook to get up, they have done a

great job. The only league title that has not been determined is in

League 2. It was going to be between Arbroath and Forfar. They had been

leading for so long but the advantage is with Arbroath. They are

1-1 away to sterling. It looks like Arbroath are going to edge it. It

looks like it is at the bottom. Clyde who are ahead, they are

getting pegged back right now. Cowdenbeath get a chance and this is

going to the last moment as well. We can now join our League 2 expert Jim

Spence. Jim, is it all completed? Yes, I am watching hundreds of fans

on the park. Barring Americo, they have won the league. The draw should

be enough. They squandered the chance to go up with Steven Doris.

Then sterling now be in level -- Sterling Albion level. As time runs

away and it is for - two, the last we heard it looked very much like

Arbroath have wrapped up the League 2 title. The celebrations have

begun. Barring miracles it is Arbroath who have won the League 2

title. Hang onto your hats. We are heading back to the Championship.

scorer of the goal, his seventh of the season for Raith Rovers. There

was McManus at the end. He knocked it past the goalkeeper to make it

2-1. If Hibs can get a winner then Raith Rovers stay up. I feel a bit

like the linesman at Rugby Park! Someone will have to show me a red

card. Hold that thought. Motherwell Ross County is over. Yes, it is a

sore one for Motherwell. An amazing scoreline for Ross County's point of

view. Ross County have come out on top. Motherwell missed the

opportunity to climb out of the relegation play-off place. The first

half was really poor, I have to say. I think nerves and tension playing a

part. There was not really any accuracy in the corner kicks. Better

was required in the second half and both teams duly obliged. They

pressed and they created, Lionel Ainsworth forcing a terrific save

from Scott Fox. Then against the run of play, we see it so often that

happens in this game of football, Chris Routis scored what could be a

vital goal for Ross County. Russell Griffiths came in to the Motherwell

line-up line up in place of Craig Samson. He didn't manage to finish

off his effort. Motherwell kept on pressing, they kept on giving things

are going this match. They didn't lie down after Ross County had taken

the lead and there was a corner that came in there was cleared away from

danger. From Ross County's point of view it would be a happy trip back

up to the Highlands for them. A painful one at Celtic Park. Let's

get the full-time report. A scintillating result for Celtic

winning this 4-1. Alexander Clarke made some good saves. Patrick

Roberts had them in front. Stephen McClane levelled things up. Dedryck

Boyata made it 2-1 to Celtic with a header from a Patrick Roberts

corner. Roberts got his second of header from a Patrick Roberts

the afternoon to put Celtic 3-1 in front. Then on 71 minutes the

scoring was wrapped up by Calum MacGregor. He was only there as a

substitute for a matter of 60 seconds. A terrific solo goal made

it 4-1 for Celtic. Saints suffer their first defeat in the last 12

fixtures. Back to League 2 and I think Arbroath are the title winners

there because Forfar have lost to Annan Athletic, Scott? Yes, and if

you want to know how cruel football can be, ask a Forfar athletic

supporter. They were top of the league until last Saturday but only

to fall at the ultimate hurdle last week and spectacularly today against

Annan Athletic. They made seven changes to keep their players fresh

for a play-off on Wednesday which ironically now the first leg will be

against Forfar athletic. They really self-destructed today as they were

3-0 down in 40 minutes. Dreadful defending. The fightback started at

41 minutes. Michael Travis managed to pull a goal back. Then O'Brien

scored to make it 3-2. Aidan Smith broke away to score for an athletic.

The Forfar athletic players looked utterly shattered at the end. We are

Easter Road and Championship bound now for full-time. It has finished

Hibernian one, St Mirren one. A scoreline that the champions will

enjoy but so will the visiting fans. Saint Mirren required a point to

stay in the league. They went behind but a gold is before the hour line

gave them hope and the scoreline from Kirkcaldy did not matter

because Saints got the point that they needed to stay in the

Championship. It finished 1-1. For Kirk hoping to be promoted into the

Premiership. It finished Falkirk one, Dumbarton zero. Two good

efforts from Stirling and Thompson. The second half produced more of the

same but failing to carve out any chances. Set pieces were looking the

best option. With five minutes remaining, at the front post to

cement second spot. Gets go back to the Premiership and we can hear now

from Jonathan Sutherland at Rugby Park where Kilmarnock were playing

Dundee. It is finished, an zero, Dundee one. It is two wins on the

trot for new Dundee manager on the road. Marcus Haber with the

second-half goal. A header powered past Freddie Woodman. Haber making

up for a couple of misses in the first half. The assistant referee

had a flag up for offside and one of the assistant referees had to be

physically sick during the match. The game was a really that bad.

Hilariously the referee showed his colleague the red card. This is a

huge three points for Dundee. Since the vocal mana, they created lots of

chances. They pressed for an equaliser but found the Dundee

keeper Scott Bain in inspired form. The mix at the bottom of the table

gets very interesting indeed. Still lots to play for at the bottom. Not

so in the Championship. Charlie Mann can tell us what happened when Raith

ravers and Ayr United net. Disappointment for both sides here.

Raith ravers got the win they needed but not the results they needed

elsewhere today because with that draw between Hibs and Saint Mirren

they will play for a place in the championships while Ayr United was

relegated. It was a roller-coaster afternoon for the home side. The

goalkeeper was ordered off for a bad foul on Craig Meer. Johnny caught

scoring his first goal of the season. There was a spell where

Hibernian were winning when Range Rovers was looking good but then it

all went downhill from there. After 70 minutes Ross Doherty equalised.

Then a United had a penalty. -- Ayr United. The effort was saved. Then

Declan McManus, his seventh goal of the season did give Range Rovers the

victory. But they must save their Championship place through the

play-offs and it will be against Brechin. On the subject of

play-offs, oh, we will not go there, we will keep our powder dry for now.

Let's just reflect on the incredible excitement of the battle... What are

you laughing at? You are exhausted, you are drained! What I was going to

say is it shows how much these things can change in an absolute

heartbeat and it has left Range Rovers heartbroken. You are joyous.

I'm being objective. There are ten men and you are winning a game and

you go up devastated. So much going on in that game. This has been a

great day. At the end of the day, how close they all work will stop --

how close they all were. There is not much to look forward to for

Raith Rovers. So many emotional swinging roundabout there, it is

unbelievable. Highs and lows. The Premiership is passed talking about

the games. I think the Championship at the bottom was very tense. I

don't know if you would sitting -- I don't know if it is because you were

sitting so close! Raith ravers have to pick themselves up will stop they

are in the play-offs but they have got a chance. To go from getting

battered last week to winning this game, getting a goalkeeper sent off

after two minutes, they have got a chance but they have to

psychologically get themselves in the right frame of mind.

Now let's see who could be promoted. East Kilbride and Kenny Crawford is

there. He will tell us what happened? I'm sitting on a nice

chair at the side of the pitch in the sun. It finished 2-1. A 4-3

victory for East Kilbride. They will go-go through in the play-off to see

who gets the place in League Two. Whether They got off to a great

start. Winter mrased into the net after good work inside the box. The

Portuguese striker got a goal of his own. He was set up by Strachan on

the edge of the box. Curled it in wonderfully and it touched the

underside of the bar as it went down into the net to make it look nicer.

East Kilbride were in control. They managed the game. It wasn't received

Buckie a shout before half-time. Buckie went down to 10 men. Copeland

Finished 2-1. 4-3 to East Kilbride. They play Cowdenbreatn next

Saturday. East Kilbride, a club with great ambitions. Only Celtic put

them out? They should be confident in themselves and their ability to

do it. Torture for a team who have been in the lesion for a long time

they might fall out of it you need the pyramid system. If they save

their skins by winning that tie, fair enough. East Kilbride,

considering the size of the town. It deserves it. I was waiting for that.

A club with a great tradition. Both we aric Rangers or Clyde could have

been in that win today. Berwick got the win. Clyde were holding their

breath to the end as well. Cowdenbreath couldn't do enough.

Rugby Park, on to his face. A sore one. Managers are banging on about -

Fine margins. If that was in the back of the net. In Italy, the

bounce of the ball it can come down to that at this time of season. If

you are a Killie fine you will think, we played well, lots of

chances. Motherwell battered them at the end of the game. They could not

get the ball in the net. Loads of chances. Motherwell have a potent

get the ball in the net. Loads of strike force their problems - I

don't think it was bad finishing. It was good goalkeeping and good

defending in front of them. Bodies in front of the ball. It was a

Clasie end to the season. We will do everything we can to hold on to

those points. Again, I wasn't saying anything against Motherwell. Plenty

Let's look at the English Premier League:

Time for further details of the goings on in England today. We will

start at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City were in action

against crystal pal lads. A truly dominant and professional way for

Manchester City to return to winning ways. Silva, on his return from

injury, scored his 50th goal for City to give them the lead. The only

question that remained unanswered at half-time was that only City had

scored once, apart from a Benteke header. The keeper had nothing to do

all day. They doubled their advantage, Vincent Kompany with a

vine finish from De Bruyne's lay-off. Then De Bruyne and

Sterling, fourth successive season he has hit double figures. Otamendi

with his score to make it 5-0. Manchester City have taken another

step towards Champions League football for the seventh successive

season. 5-0. Hull City, we can find out how they faired at home to

already relegated Sunderland from Damian Johnson. 2-0 Sunderland it

finished first home defeat for Hull City under De Silva. A diving header

from Billy Jones and a bundled late effort from Jermain Defoe, his first

in ten, secured Sunderland a rare victory. Their second in 18 Premier

League games in fact. Hull had a missed chances. A handball against

O'Shea waved away by the referee. Pickford denied Clucas. Sunderland

win it, Hull deep in trouble. Over to you Swansea City. Not quite. Let

us hand over to Burnley v West Brom. Eilidh Barbour has this report.

There's a little bit more work for Burnley to do this season. You would

have to say they are safe, 40 points. What an achievement that is.

They would have liked to have done it in style in front of their home

fans. It looked like they would when Vokes tapped in. A lack of

concentration Rondon scored West Brom's first goal in nine hours of

football. They went ahead through Dawson. Vokes had a header-his own

to ensure consecutive seasons in the Premier League for Burnley for the

first time in their history. It finished Burnley 2, West Brom 2.

Burnley hitting the 40 point mark. Leicester City started on 40, they

finished on 43. Ivan Gaskell. Leicester may have waved goodbye to

the Premier League trophy this display shows they are alive and

kicking on. Vibrant, they had a wobbling Watford on the back foot

from early on here. Twice striking the woodwork before Ndidi scored.

Mahrez scored. Cleverley had Schmeichel stretching. Watford

belatedly stirred. Deeney should have scored but steered wide. A

fifth away defeat on the row for Watford. Leicester City wrapped it

up with another goal and iced the Leicester cake. Now Bournemouth v

Stoke City. They came from behind twice today. A game of two

own-goals. Moussa on his debut headed in a corner. Kran selled out

by Stanislas. Diouf turned in a cross to put Stoke back in front.

Bournemouth levelled again when a Gradel header found its way in via

Shawcross. Bournemouth got the point they needed. Let us talk about what

happened in England today. The wider repercussions of it. Last night's

result, which I'm sure you were standing on the chairs cheering,

Pat. A win for West Ham? I stopped grinning five minutes before we came

on air. Shame for Tottenham. One of the headlines said Spurs had blown

it. That's unfair thichl were on a phenomenal run. Going for ten league

runs in a row. To do that in the Premier League would have been

incredible. A tough run. Someone who would be keen to see Chelsea winning

the Could have it league. Wrapped up before we are back here next

Saturday? They have it two games before Spurs play again. Chelsea the

way they kept it going, they are not a brilliant side, they are

well-organised with a couple of absolute quality players in that

team. It's the manager as much as anything else who has done a great

job for Manchester City, they them. Are going to get into the Champions

League, but is that a disappointing season? I don't think will is any

doubt when Pep Guardiola came in the expectations would have been huge.

When you look at the squad there is huge, there is a huge overhaul

needed within the squad. But, you know, there is no doubt the funds

will be there to do that and Pep Guardiola will have the remit to do

whatever he wants, I would expect. The interesting thing was hearing

that is the 17th in the row they have been in the Champions League. I

wouldn't have thought it was Assombalonga long as that. Had the

megabucks? Been up there but not done a great deal in it. I was

surprised it was seven years. They never made a huge impact on the

Champions League. No doubt that ending fourth is not good enough for

Manchester City in terms of the money they are spending and the

calibre of personnel they have at the club. Back to the Scottish

Premiership. We will hear from the Dundee interim manager after his

side's second win on the spin. Two wins out of two, you are making it

look easy? No, the players make the results look easy when you look at

them at the end of the day. They give everything. I'm proud of them.

I'm happy with them. We ask them to carry out a gameplan. Sometimes that

gameplan can be manipulated by the opposition and they ask questions of

you. We trust our shape and what we've been working on and hard to

beat and set targets of winning games. I'm happy for them. Last week

I said I know what it's like to be on a losing run when the confidence

is low. They deserve it. You can't ask any more than 100% and everybody

gave it today. Kilmarnock threw everything at us towards the end. I

trusted them. I'm a wee bit hoarse. We had so many chances and missed so

many chances. It takes one to get three points witch are a happy team.

They can enjoy this weekend because they deserve it again. You created a

lot of chances? Absolutely. A lot was thrown at you towards the end of

the match? Absolutely. It's natural to get deep. You are trusting what

you have been working on, throwing balls in the box. Trusting that. The

trust has been repaid. They stood up to a man, the goalkeeper, he's
